My guest, a believer in Jesus,

went to a college frat party
where she was drugged and raped.

The trauma caused her life
to spin out of control.

Then, the magnificent,
omnipotent,

supernatural power of God
showed up. Next.

[Music]

SR: I’ve thought for myself
in every area of life but one.

I knew nothing until
I discovered a realm

where the truth
isn’t what it seems,

a realm where the truth
becomes reality.

I’ve spent over 50 years

investigating the world
of the supernatural.

Every moment has led up
to the main event.

Millions of Jewish people
will be saved all over the world.

God’s heart is for all to
believe, for none to perish.

It’s called the Greater Glory!

Do you believe?

>> “It’s Supernatural!”

[Applause]

SR: Welcome, Holy Spirit.
Go and flow.

My guest, Tammie Southerland,
was raised in a Methodist family,

but had a God encounter,
a real God encounter, at age 12.

Tell me about it.

TS: Yeah, so growing up in
a Methodist family was amazing.

We went to church,
we did what we did.

It was Sunday in the South-
that’s what we did.

When I was about
12 years old,

I was invited to go to a youth
camp with a friend of mine,

and it was a Pentecostal Church
of God of Prophecy Youth Camp.

And in this youth camp,

I was sitting in the back
of the room;

there were probably several
hundred kids in the room.

You know, we were not even paying
attention to what was going on.

And then I felt a compelling
by the Lord

to get up out of my seat,
and almost ran to the front

where they were doing
a fire tunnel.

And by the time
I hit the threshold-

SR: Excuse me, fire tunnel-

TS: Fire tunnel.

SR: -is where believers are
in a line on either side of you,

and you walk through,
and each one lays hands on you

for more and more of God.
Go ahead.

TS: Yeah. And by the time
I hit the front of the room,

the Power of God hit me.

I’d never experienced
being slain in the Spirit.

And so I hit the floor.
And the Power of God came on me,

and they began
to prophecy over me.

And I was filled with the Spirit.

And after that,
God radically changed my heart.

He marked me, but-

SR: By the way,
I like that terminology.

“He marked me.”

TS: He marked me.

SR: That is a significant phrase

that most people
don’t understand.

God put His mark on her,
and in a moment,

God’s going to put
His mark on you. Go ahead.

TS: Yeah.

So, you know,
after that, I don’t-

I didn’t really get mentored
in the things of the Spirit,

so as much as my heart was alive

and I was hungry
for the presence of God,

I was hungry
for the things of God,

I didn’t really understand what
it was that had happened to me.

My encounters
with the Lord happened,

but no one was teaching me.

So I was slowly kind of-
just drifted away,

really for lack of discipleship.

SR: That, then, caused,
because of the drifting away,

you’re spiraling out of control.

TS: Mm-hmm.

SR: What happened?

TS: I got into a relationship,
as most teenagers do,

a long-term relationship
in high school,

and compromised
my purity at 17.

And the interesting thing
about that is,

at that youth camp,

I actually signed
a “True Love Waits” card,

where I said I would
save myself for the Lord,

until I got married.
So when I compromised at 17,

it was very,
very traumatic for me,

because I made a commitment
to the Lord

that I would never do that.

Part of the spiral is that
when I entered into college,

this relationship, we took
a break from this relationship.

And I was raped
on my college campus.

It was a fraternity sorority,

I was pledging a sorority
and I was raped.

And it really caused
that downward spiral.

I didn’t believe that I was
worth anything any longer.

And having been marked
by God earlier in life,

you know, there was still this
ongoing conversation with Him,

but I needed Him
to break in.

I needed Him to come
and show me that

He really-
He was there.

And so through that, I went
to a youth revival meeting-

and I’ll back up here
just for a second.

I was partying, I was drinking,
I was doing all the things-

I basically had a death wish.

Like, I just wanted to die.
I didn’t want to live anymore.

And God- I tell people,
“Don’t do evangelism this way,”

but God actually sent
my brother into a bar,

and he began to drink with me.

And he didn’t know
he was being led by God,

but he began to drink with me,
and I was, like,

“No, don’t throw your life away.
Don’t do what I’m doing.

You don’t know
what I’ve been through.”

And he said, “Well, why don’t you
go to this youth meeting,

or youth retreat with me
in the morning?”

I’m, like, “Why would I go
to a youth retreat?”

We were out
drinking and partying.

And you know, about 5:00 a.m.,
I went back to my room

and I thought,
you know what, I’m going to go.

He was drinking,
other people were drinking,

other people were partying,
I’m going to go.

It was a free beach trip.

And at that trip, at the beach,
I’m sitting in this room,

and it’s full of students,
it’s full of kids.

And I’m off to the side,
I’m in the back,

and I’m thinking,
what am I doing here?

This is useless.

And I just hear
the testimony of this couple,

and they look like
the picture-perfect couple,

they had two children,
they’re in ministry.

And they were talking about
how they used to do drugs.

SR: Hmm.

TS: And I remember thinking,
if God can save them, then

He can save me.
If God can give them this,

He can give it back-
He can give it to me.

And all of a sudden, I heard
the voice of the Lord say,

“I was there.”
He was speaking of the rape.

He said, “I believe you,
I love you.”

And I looked at my brother,
and He said,

“And I sent him into the darkness
to pull you out.”

And in that moment, I realized
that was a parallel statement.

He sent my brother in,

but He sent Jesus in
to the darkness to pull me out.

And in that moment,
the Power of God fell,

I began to weep and just wail,

and just in this encounter
with the Lord,

and then all the other kids
in the room

spontaneously began
to encounter the presence of God.

And so I gave my life back
to Christ in that moment.

My brother gave his life
back to Christ.

All the others in the room
began to encounter the Lord

and give their lives to Christ.

And so it was this restoration
moment,

where that moment when I was 12
came back full circle,

because He really did mark me,

and He really did begin a process
of restoring all things.

SR: And then you find yourself
in Israel-

TS: Yes.

SR: -with amazing
encounters with God.

Tell us about it.

TS: Yeah. So in 2018,

I had the opportunity
to go to Israel,

been in ministry for quite
some time, encountering the Lord,

just prayer really a large part
of my life, and the prophetic.

But this trip to Israel
was very significant.

I thought that I was
going for ministry,

but I was actually being
what I tell people

almost stolen away by God
for an encounter.

And I’m in Israel,
in Jesus’ homeland,

I feel like I’m walking with Him
throughout His homeland,

and we go into
the Garden of Gethsemane.

And we had rented out a space
for us to pray for an hour.

And I’m just expecting
God to move,

I’m expecting the tears,
I’m expecting the encounter.

And it’s almost like,
we’re, like,

we’re going to do a better job
than the disciples;

we’re not going to fall asleep
on the watch.

And 45 minutes, Sid- nothing.
I felt nothing.

My mind was wandering,

I couldn’t find a passage
to land on in the Scriptures.

SR: Your expectations
were so high,

you were devastated with nothing.

TS: Yes.
And I’m, like, where, what-

“Okay, Jesus, what’s the deal?”
You know, “Where are You?”

And then all of a sudden
in that moment,

He says to me,
“Tammie, do you want more?”

And in that moment,

it was almost like the
fear of the Lord gripped me.

I’m in the Garden of Gethsemane,
where He wept,

where He travailed,
where He came

and had this conversation
with the Father,

whether or not the cup
would pass before Him.

And I knew that my answer
was going to cost me everything.

And then from that point,
of course, I very-

almost sheepishly answered
Him, “Yes, I do want more.”

And from there, they almost had
to pull me out of the garden,

because I didn’t want to leave.
The encounter just increased.

And the next place that I went
was to Caiaphas Pit,

where Jesus was held the night
before His crucifixion.

And as we go down
into the steps,

there’s this-
if you’ve been there-

but there is this place,

and it’s like a hollowed out
stone room where Jesus was held.

And my friend, Jeremiah Johnson,
I was there with him.

He points up as we go down
in this small aperture,

like, hole right above us.

And he points up and he says,
“That’s where they lowered Him.”

And it was almost
the size of my body.

And then all of a sudden,
I literally see the face of Jesus

with the crown of thorns.
And He’s, like,

right there in my face
with the blood dripping down.

And He says it again,
“Tammie, do you want more?”

Tears travail, tongues,

Hebrew tongues began
to come out of me.

And I felt like I needed
to get out of the way,

because other tour people
were coming down in there.

And almost like I Army
crawled myself

across to the other side
of the pit,

and this encounter continued.

It increased and it increased
and it increased.

And I knew what He was doing
was inviting me into

His intercession;

He was inviting me into
His travail.

He was inviting me
into experiencing

the more than ministry,

more than the next
great opportunity of fame.

It was an invitation
into experiencing what

He experienced as
He cried out for us.

SR: When you talk about
“wordless groaning,”

explain that as best you can.

TS: Yeah.
So a lot of us understand,

groaning or wordless prayer,
probably from Romans 8:26.

So Romans 8 is- I love
the whole book, spent many years,

that whole chapter,
many years digging into it.

But Romans 8:26 says that when

“We do not have the words
to pray, that the Spirit Himself

prays through us intercessions
with wordless groanings.”

Wordless prayers.

And a lot of prayers we think,
that’s just tongues,

and maybe some of us thing
it’s just contemplation.

You know? But it’s actually
the intercession of which

is what the Lord’s
unveiled to me,

this is
the intercession of Jesus.

It’s that place of prayer
where we have no words, yet

He’s in intercession for us.

And He begins to grip us,
our spirit, with His Spirit.

And we begin to pray
in sync with Him

in a language that has no words,
the perfect prayers of heaven.

And yes, it can be tongues,

and yes it could be tears,
it could be travail.

But then there’s also this place,
this space, where

He wants to take us to,
where we can see what

He’s seeing.
We can hear what He’s saying.

And it’s beyond words,
it’s beyond human language.

And it’s a place
where it’s true intimacy

with Him
in a place where we pray.

And our prayers are heard
and answered.

SR: Wow. How would you like that?
Tammie’s daughter was dying.

Doctors sent the chaplain
to prepare for the inevitable.

But God – be right back.

[Applause]

resource package for you.

She shared with Sid Roth that she
believes anyone who reads

Tammie’s “Wordless Prayer”
book like she did

set will have powerful
encounters with God.

She adds how she felt like

she was actually
in the Throne Room of God.

She thinks you will
experience it too,

and that this resource is
destined to change your life.

TS: The Lord moved in the room

as I was sharing testimony,
stories,

and teaching how to live from
this place of the Throne Room.

This book is going to teach you
what it means to be able to enter

into the place of prayer
with the Lord,

where your tears, your groans,
your travails,

your sighs,
your breath, have language.

What it looks like
to have holy grit.

How to not give up but pursue

Him through the obstacles
that the enemy may throw,

that religion may throw,

so you get the strategies
of heaven,

so that you know
that when you pray,

He moves at the sound
of your voice.

[Applause]

SR: Tammie, what happened
to your daughter in 2021?

SR: Twenty twenty-one,
we almost lost her.

She almost died.
She had septic shock.

Multi organ system failure,
her kidneys were failing,

her heart was failing.

Her liver was failing.
And we almost lost her.

SR: The doctor sent a chaplain
in to see you.

TS: Yes.
SR: What did he do?

TS: Yes, so there were
two chaplains that were went in.

And when we got
to the medical center,

we were met
by teams of doctors,

not just one doctor,
teams of doctors.

And the chaplain comes to me
and she actually says to me,

“I don’t think you understand,
this is serious.

This is critical.”
And the chaplain was-

I think believed that I wasn’t
able to comprehend

the seriousness of what was
taking place with my daughter.

And in that moment,
you know, I was thinking,

I fully know and understand
where I’m sitting,

where I’m supposed to be.
And I thought two things.

I need to keep my hand
on her and pray,

and I need to remain seated
in the heavenly realms.

And in that moment, I almost
pushed the chaplain away,

and I went back to my daughter,

because I knew
that there was a word-

there was prophecy over her life.
There was destiny over her life.

And I knew that it wasn’t time
for God to take her home.

And I knew that I had to stay
where the Lord had placed me,

in the place of peace
above the warfare.

SR: A friend had a warning dream
about your daughter.

TS: Yes.

SR: What was that?
And when was it?

TS: So about three months
beforehand,

a friend of mine
had a warning dream.

And she comes and she shares
the dream with me,

it’s about 8:00 a.m.
I am on staff

at the International House
of Prayer in Atlanta,

and I had just dropped off
my younger daughter

at the co-op,
at a home school co-op.

And the friend comes
and shares the dream with me.

And the dream was very
devastating, and I began to pray.

And I began to pray
as if the dream were real,

as if it had already happened.
I felt the Lord grip my heart,

and I began to pray
and intercede and fast for-

it was a total
of about eight hours

that I was in the prayer room
that day,

for about four
to six hours, I prayed.

I walked the room.
I declared, I interceded,

I called forth her
out of the clenches of Satan,

out of the influence
of the spirit of the age.

And at about 4:00 when we would
have our all-staff prayer,

I realized that all
of the intercession,

all of the outcry
that I had done for my daughter-

now this is three months

before we would actually
fight for her life.

It wasn’t just for her, that it
was for her entire generation.

And in this intercession,
in that moment,

I realized that I had stepped
into a place

that God used this dream to grip
my heart for my own child

so that I would feel the hurt
and the longing

and the intercession of other
mothers and other fathers

that were crying out
for their own children.

And so in that moment, I actually
began to go all over the room

and lay hands on all the mothers

that were on the altars
and praying.

And I asked the Lord two things;
I said, “Don’t ever let me forget

what it’s like to pray
for other people’s children

like I would pray for my own.”
And the second thing I said is,

“Lord, if you will
give me a billion”-

I said “a billion mamas’ babies,”

because I was crying out
for my baby.

“Give me a billion souls, and I
will give them back to You.”

And it was the Hannah prayer,
it was the Hannah cry.

And so all of these
intercessions,

all of these things that took
place three months beforehand,

I had no idea that I would
literally be fighting

for the life of my child
in the Spirit,

fast forward in three months.

SR: And you’re fighting
for the life of your child,

and there are times
when you literally could

only utter a two-word prayer.
What was that?

TS: Yeah, so I want to explain
to you the power of this prayer.

It’s not just-
it wasn’t just words.

These were words
from the realm of the Spirit,

and Jesus only did what
He saw His Father do,

or only said what
He heard His Father say.

And I heard in the Throne Room
two words: “Jesus Reigns.”

And so in every moment, when the
blood pressure would plummet,

or the heart
or the pulse would plummet,

I would feel the Spirit
of the Lord rise up in me

and say, “Jesus Reigns.”

And so I continued to declare
over here, “Jesus Reigns.

Jesus reigns over your body.

Jesus reigns over your soul.
Jesus reigns over your blood.

Jesus reigns over
your blood pressure.”

And it was the power
of those two words

I feel like the Lord
gave me to break in from,

really the accusations
of the enemy,

and the lives of the enemy,
and cause the enemy to scatter.

So I have to tell you this-

take you back for just
a moment in this story.

So we battled septic shock,

multi organ system failure
for three days.

On the third day, we thought
that she was doing better.

Her heart rate plummeted,
her blood pressure plummeted,

her fingers turned pale.
The harbingers of death,

the signs of death
began to take place.

The septic shock was back.

And this nurse walks in the room,
and she says to me,

“Do you have
a medical background?”

Because she knew that I knew
that her body was failing,

that my child’s body was dying.
And immediately out of me came,

“No, but I’m a minister,
and let me tell you my story.”

And I began to share
with her my testimony.

And as we’re cleaning up
my child,

as we’re cleaning her up-
and I’ll spare you the details-

the power of God came in
as I was sharing my testimony.

And the spirit of death
left the room.

[Applause]

And I heard the Lord say,
in that moment,

“And they overcame
by the blood of the Lamb

and the word
of their testimony,

loving not their lives
even unto death.”

And it was in that moment
that the spirit of death left.

For the next 12 hours,
we continued to fight

but we fought
what we know we’d already won,

and her kidneys started
working again,

her liver started working again.

Her heart came back
from heart failure-

hearts don’t come back
from heart failure.

And it was blowing away
the medical team.

And they told us, “Okay, at best,
she’ll be able to get out of

here, but we’ll have a lot
of physical therapy,

we’ll have a lot
of therapy left,”

and they come back
and saying, “No.

It’s actually better than that.
Maybe you’ll get to go home.”

And it was one shocking moment
after another

as God began to show up
and prove that

He had overcome death, that

He had overcome
by the word of His testimony.

[Applause]

SR: Okay.
It’s time for you to be marked.

I want you to repeat this prayer
and do what you can do.

Believe it to the best of
your ability and say it out loud.

You can do that.
Out loud, repeat after me.

[Music]

SR: Dear God-
>> Dear God-

SR: -I’ve made many mistakes.

>> -I’ve made many mistakes.

SR: I’m so sorry.

>> I’m so sorry.
SR: I believe Your blood-

>> I believe Your blood-

SR: -washes away all those
mistakes-

>> -washes away all those
mistakes- SR: -and I’m clean.

>> -and I’m clean.

SR: And now that I’m clean-

>> And now that I’m clean-

SR: -Jesus, come
and live inside of me.

>> -Jesus, come and live
inside of me.

SR: I make You my Lord
and Savior.

>> I make You my Lord and Savior.

SR: Amen.
>> Amen.

SR: Look in your camera
and pray for people

that are viewing right now
that just said that prayer.

TS: Yeah. So as you’ve
just said that prayer,

you actually just stepped
into your destiny.

You stepped into your destiny
as a son, a daughter of Christ.

And I want to pray for you
right now

that the Lord would come in
by the power of His Spirit

and fill you with His Holy Spirit
and with fire,

that He would mark you like
He did me at the age of 12,

that you would never walk away
from Him,

but you would have
a heart that burns for

Him all the days of your life,

that the intimacy
that you would have with Christ

would be beyond
any other relationship

that you’ve ever known.

I pray for you right now that you
would burn for passion for Him.

And as John the Baptist
baptized in water

that Jesus would come after
and baptize with the Holy Spirit

and fire that right now
wherever you are,

that Jesus is walking
in the room, that

He’s baptizing you
in His Spirit with fire,

and that you would
walk faithfully with

Him, from now until eternity.

SR: Receive His fire,
in Jesus’ Name.

[Applause]
