well welcome to andrews’s Classics where
this is the last episode of this series
where we’ve been learning about living
in the balance of Grace and Faith and
honestly it has been so powerful amen I
hope uh again that this has been such uh
a just as much of a blessing for you as
it has been for us and get to watch us
just study and get mentored so I hope
that you hold on that as well and really
again just to remind everybody this is
an opportunity for us to grow in truths
that has taken um really a general in
the faith like an Andrew wck 20 years to
really come to an understanding of and
as we’re we’re going through these
truths and really understanding them
more and more it’s an opportunity for us
to lose sight of ourselves to really
take hold of all the promises that God
has given to us through Christ Jesus and
just reach out and take hold of them by
faith it’s like uh it’s almost like a a
rich brother has died and left us an
inheritance that we don’t have to wait
till we die to get a hold of them like
it says in Ephesians 1 I believe it’s
verse 11 how it says in whom also we
have have obtained an inheritance being
predestined according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the
counsel of his own will that we already
have obtained an inheritance that’s when
Jesus died for you and I he’s given us
his grace he’s given us the gift of
Grace So now all we have to do is reach
out by faith to take hold of it you know
um Andrew’s talked a lot throughout this
series of you and I not having faith in
our own faith amen right and we even
shared the last episode it’s putting
faith in grac amen that Lord you’ve done
it it was complete it’s not missing
lacking or broken it doesn’t mean my
good works to move the heaven and part
the sky and Hallelujah have the Angels
descend like there’s it’s just out of
God’s love so the last couple episodes
we’ve talked about you know God’s
unconditional love we talked about
humility we talked about it being
through Jesus Guys these are this is an
amazing way to end this series because
it just brings us back to the love of
the go of Love Of Christ demonstrated on
the cross him saying it is finished
meaning old ways Works performance law
old Covenant in ushered now in to a New
Covenant
relationship with almighty God and that
is that’s what the good news is and the
enemy will always try to take the good
news and Andrew talked about this even
at the very beginning he tries to bring
people into airor one ditch or another
all Grace with no understanding of Faith
or all faith that becomes this
self-performing to-do spiritual to-do
list to qualify both those things are a
ditch and it’s the balance of bringing
it back to the cross and how him in US
enables us to be all that he can be
through us we are so blessed to have
this Covenant with the Lord that it’s
not based upon our works that was the
entirety of the old Covenant and before
that you know for the first 2,000 years
understand that there was no Covenant
there was no way to get a hold of these
principles but then then of course the
the first Covenant came and which was
ushered in by Moses and then it was all
about our works it was all about what we
did it was all about making sacrifices
whenever we’d make a mistake but that’s
not what this new covenant is about it’s
not what Jesus died to give you and I he
was the perfect spotless lamb amen that
was slain for the sins of this world
Amen and and what’s amazing about that
is that he brought in this new
understanding that he accomplished
everything he gave us his righteousness
took upon himself our sin brought it to
the cross and when he died sin death
hell I mean it it died with him and it
was it it was forever yeah it was
forever finished at the cross so now
because of what he’s accomplished for
you and I we can take hold of this
incredible Grace that has ushered us
into this new relationship with the Lord
and like Carrie said even the fact that
we could have relationship with God oh
my gosh what an Incredible Gift it is
that we have and uh to be able to sit
down and talk to andreo and pull these
different principles out and just begin
to really be mentored by him through
this process has really been an honor
and I believe I believe that we’ve all
learned a lot through this process you
know one of the things that Andrew
talked about in the last lesson if you
are feeling weighted down he talked
about uh the burden the care the
responsibilities if he said this if
you’re operating out of false Faith
performance and works then the burden
the care and the responsibility is going
to be on your shoulders you’ll get
weighted down and that’s a sure sign of
faith in yourself wow so you could
actually have this false faith in
yourself and listen I’m telling you
we’re like a wave tossed to and fro if
it’s about us and not about the Lord
then situations circumstances people
your emotions will constantly toss you
around if your faith is in yourself you
then get to own that burden and that
care you get that weight and I’ll tell
you right now Jesus died so that you
wouldn’t have to be in fear disappointed
and in worry and so as we are finishing
up this series we’re going to truly
invite you to have this these lessons
truly become a life
foundational principle of your life of
Grace and Faith not just to know it and
walk in it but also how to articulate it
because I believe as we I think we said
it maybe two or three episodes ago God
wants to wreck your bad theology right
and when I say wreck it he’s just like I
want to replace it I want to root up the
old and plant in life you know um I’ll
just really quickly I want to read this
in Hebrews chapter 10 it says this for
the law having a shadow of the good
things to come verse number one and not
the very image of the things can never
with those sacrifices which they offered
Year bye continually make the comers
there unto perfect for then would they
have not would not have they been ceased
to be offered because that the
worshippers once purged would have no
more consciousness of sins and that’s
exactly what Jesus gave us when he gave
us his grace when he when he gave us the
ability to believe in him through faith
that we would no longer be captured by
having a consciousness of sin we would
now have a consciousness of his grace of
his righteousness living on the inside
of us well in our last episode let’s
again Watch Andrew in this old clip and
then we will ask Andrew more questions
so let’s watch but did you know when it
comes to Grace it’s I’ve tried to argue
with people about this and you cannot
make a person understand Grace and how
that God just loves us completely
separate of our performance and how he
gives things to us on an unearned
undeserved basis uh it has to come by
Revelation the Holy Spirit has to reveal
it to you 1 Corinthians chapter 2:14
says the natural man receives not the
things of the spirit of God because they
are foolishness unto him neither can he
know them because they are spiritually
discerned this grace of God has to come
by Revelation I’m just praying that the
Lord is taking these programs and
somehow or another causing that
Revelation to come unto you you know
there’s a scripture in Luke 24: 45 where
Jesus it says he opened their
understanding that they might understand
the scriptures that’s my prayer for you
today is that you would just have the
Holy Spirit supernaturally open up your
understanding so that this revelation of
Grace and Faith the proper balance
between them would come to you and that
it would become clear well that’s
powerful let me take these p messages
out of Ephesians chapter
1 in Ephesians chapter 1 verse one it
says Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by
the will of God to the Saints which are
at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ
Jesus Grace be to you and peace from God
our Father and from the Lord Jesus
Christ this is a typical way that Paul
would start his letters with talking
about the grace of God everything that
we receive has to be dependent upon the
grace of God he would start his letters
with this he would often end his letters
with talking about the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ be with you in verse three
he said blessed be the God and father of
our Lord Jesus Christ who hath past
tense blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in Heavenly places in Christ
Jesus now this verse embodies one of the
points that I’ve been trying to get
across and that is that people have
taken faith and they have defined Faith
as something you must do in order to get
God to move and we will come up with
these statements about faith moves God
and I’m telling you God isn’t the one
that needs to move God’s not stuck Faith
moves us it moves the devil but it does
not move God God moved of his own free
will by grace and has provided
everything before you and I existed over
in John chapter 1 it talks about that
the law came by Moses but Grace and
Truth came by the Lord Jesus Christ and
of his fullness have all we received and
Grace for Grace or Grace upon
Grace the grace of God was communicated
and released into this Earth through
Jesus and that happened 2,000 years ago
before you and I were ever born God
released grace through Jesus so if you
really understand this that all Grace
and Truth came by Jesus well then that
means that it came before you and I
existed before we had a problem before
we had a chance to do anything right or
wrong it has nothing to do with your
performance Grace is unearned unmar
undeserved favor you don’t deserve
Grace and by Grace God hath already
blessed us is what this is saying now
see again the average Christian believes
that faith is something you do to move
God they see Faith Like A pry bar you
know if you got some heavy object if
you’ll put a fulcrum there and then some
kind of a pry bar underneath that you
can move that heavy object and that’s
what most people see Faith as is a pry
bar that I’m going to move God I’m going
to make God heal me I’m going to make
God release his power that isn’t Faith
at all that’s legalism works and the
Bible discredits that nobody is ever
going to be justified declared righteous
in the sight of God by your own good
works you have to come and receive it by
faith in what God has done not faith in
what you’re doing and so this says we’re
already blessed already
blessed already blessed with all
spiritual blessings in Heavenly places
and yet how many people are trying to
get God to bless them if God has already
blessed you then why are you trying to
get God to bless you it’s because you
don’t believe that he’s already done it
it you aren’t putting faith in God’s
grace many people believe that God is
the great I
can that he can do anything but they
don’t believe he’s The Great I Am that
he’s already done it it is a present
tense reality it’s already done
this is our last episode of uh living in
the balance of Grace and Faith but I
believe we’ve um hopefully ignited
within people the desire to to really
make this a part of their life and this
uh clip that we just watched with you
you were just talking about it’s got to
be a revelation and and you said you and
I like what you said you were just
praying that these programs would um
would help them understand that they get
proper discernment and balance on this
subject you know I quit arguing with
people a long long time ago when I first
got started I would argue with people
over stuff but I I never was able to
convince anybody it has to come by
Revelation yeah so I’ve become now to
where I just put something out there
it’s like I I put some food in front of
you and if you want to eat it there it
is but I’m not going to force feed you
and this really was a principle that you
shared throughout this whole series just
in terms of how this needed to be a
revelation because the way this world
conducts itself is so different than the
way God conducts himself so I I guess my
question would be people are coming to
you and coming to different meetings and
hearing this and it’s almost like
they’re pushing back even though what
they’re trying is not giving them the
results so so um what have you seen in
terms of people offering the reasons as
to why they don’t believe this is
true I don’t know there’s a a lot of
different things we discussed
sovereignty of God a lot of people think
that you know your faith doesn’t have
anything to do with anything then
there’s other people that are into faith
that think it’s all about what they do
and that they aren’t willing to just
trust God and so there’s multiple things
depending on people’s background where
they come from but I don’t think that
most
people uh have naturally an ability to
trust somebody they can’t see to do
something we we’re just carnal we want a
physical organic answer to everything we
want somebody that we could touch and
stuff and faith is seeing something that
can’t be seen faith is the evidence of
Things Not Seen yeah and so uh it’s just
counterintuitive it’s against Fallen
human nature to trust in God and to
believe that he’s taking care of things
yeah and stuff and that’s why faith is
so powerful is because it’s just against
everything that is natural in a person I
think this is where we see a lot of
people put their faith in other people
including mentors and teachers and
pastors and leaders and missionaries and
so when those people fail and those
people falter and then their own faith
falters because their faith was in
another person’s Faith as we were
talking about in the last episode
and because they want to see someone
they can touch yeah I think it’s
appropriate to be disappointed and to be
grieved over it because you don’t like
to see that happen but to be shaken or
to be question your faith yeah or to get
angry at God because what somebody else
has done it shows a lack of relationship
with God when that happens yeah and it
really is an identifier of us not of God
um is the aspect of you know you you
even said in this in this last episode
that in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse4
how the natural that man does not
receive the things of the spirit of God
because they are spiritually discerned
and so it really should show us the
temperament of our hearts as well if
we’re not be able to walk in those
principles because obviously we’re
walking after the natural not after the
spiritual second Corinthians 5:7 says
for we walk by faith and not by sight
and Paul just presents that as this is
normal Christianity and yet that is
abnormal Christianity as you look around
today most people are just completely
dominated and controlled by what they
see and feel and things like that but
that’s not the normal Christian Life
normal Christian Life you ought to be
able to just go by what the word of God
says and Trust what he says and put
total confidence in that but again
people haven’t done that they’ve been
leaning under their own understanding
yeah yeah that’s that’s powerful and I
know that um you know you look at uh
Adam and Eve how how Adam and Eve
approached God was through faith is they
they they trusted that they they walk
with him and really this is a
restoration to our original creation
yeah Adam and Eve walked by faith that’s
for sure you know I use this example and
not everybody gets hold of this but it
really blesses me that when they ate of
the forbidden fruit the number one thing
that happened was they saw that they
were naked they had been naked all along
that’s right and some people say oh no
they were clothed in the righteousness
of God but the scripture says in Genesis
2:25 I believe it is they were both
naked the man and his wife and were not
ashamed so you can spiritualize it and
use analogies and that’s okay but they
were both naked is what the Bible says
and yet they had never noticed no that
they were
and to me it was because they were
walking by faith so much that even
though their physical senses were
working they weren’t dominated by it
they had not really paid attention that
they didn’t have clothes on that is
phenomenal and yet see now it is
completely reversed to where instead of
people walking by faith to where the
spiritual realm was more real to them
than the Physical Realm today everybody
is born carnal into this physical world
and we are more dominated by the natural
things than we are by faith it’s unusual
it’s abnormal for Christians today to
walk by faith amen I like how you said
in this uh part you said God is not the
one who needs to move you said God is
not stuck he said Faith moves us it
moves the devil but it does not move God
and yet this is a common say saying is
it faith is what moves God faith will
cause a manifestation of what God has
already done by grace to come into the
Physical Realm and so people who are
carnal and don’t acknowledge that there
is a spiritual realm don’t think
anything has happened until something
happens in the physical they will say
well then man when you operated in faith
look what God did no God had done it
2,000 years ago it’s already done but
Faith just reached out and brought into
the Physical Realm what God had already
provided so good so a person who’s
saying that God didn’t move until they
see something happen that just reveals
their carnality it does doesn’t mean
that that’s when God moved yeah and you
brought out I thought extremely well
just in Ephesians chap 1:3 how the word
says we’re already blessed with all
spiritual blessings in Heavenly places
in Christ Jesus I mean and to really
realize that we can see that
consistently on a day-to-day basis by
walking in faith it’s already there
we’re not asking God to bless us anymore
I I know you gave this example before
where people will come to you and ask
you please just just just bless me
you’re like well how can I bless you
anymore
then got you’ve already got it law and
people ask me all the time how are you
and I say I’m blessed and then they’ll
they know that some how are you really I
really want to know how you are and I
say you can trust me with your
emotions but people they don’t
understand that there are things beyond
what we can see taste hear smell and
feel there’s a spiritual World God is a
spirit God moves in the spirit realm and
in the spirit he’s already purchased
everything that we’ll ever need there is
never anything that’s ever going to come
against us that God hadn’t already
anticipated if if the doctors come and
tell you that you’ve got stage four
liver cancer and stuff people think oh
God and they start telling God as if
something needs to happen God knew
everything that would ever come against
you he’s already put within you more
than enough power to heal your cancer
there is no problem with God yeah you
said um I like I like the the word
picture this gives you said faith is not
a pry bar that moves God to get him to
release his power and I think that is
just such a great picture of how people
think you know like I’m trying I’m
laboring I’m reading I’m praying I’m
serving I’m fasting you know and they’re
trying to hopefully today the day well
there’s going to be that that
breakthrough and let me say that any
person who ever has gotten upset at God
and said God failed or they’re mad at
God I have people tell me all the time
they got mad at God they do not
understand Grace they think that they
did something something and God was
obligated to respond to their faith that
is totally wrong God already moves by
Grace and provides the answer before you
have the problem and all your faith does
is reach out and receive what’s already
been provided so good I like uh I think
my favorite new quote from from you is
uh came in this episode as well where
you said that many people look at as as
at God is the great I can not The Great
I Am and that they understand that God
can do anything but they think that he
has done anything that that was that’s
just so powerful and to really realize
get a revelation of that and I agree
with you I think it comes to through a
revelation of of just intimacy with God
him showing you these principles then
walking it out and and seeing the
manifestation of the power of God not
because uh not because you see it to
believe it but because you believe it
first and then you see it and you guys
are in our management here and you’re
aware aware of all of this but for our
viewers you know we’re trying to
construct things and we’ve come to a
place to where we’ve been spending more
than what we brought in and my CEO Billy
epart came to me and was trying to have
a come to Jesus meeting because
something’s got to give and anyway when
he presented all of this to me it just
doesn’t bother me because I know that
God has already supplied everything now
maybe I’m uh going too fast maybe I’ve
uh not responding the way I should but I
know that whatever God’s told me to do
it’s going to happen and once you
understand that you just can’t get upset
there’s nothing that is going to sneak
up on God like I I never thought of this
happening oh my gosh Oh Me Oh My yeah
how does God respond he doesn’t say oh
myself oh my
me but nothing catches God by surprise
he’s already supplied everything and so
when you really get hold of this it just
keeps you from being upset amen you know
our previous CEO came to me one time and
said we’ve got 12 12 hours of working
capital and that’s cuz he had two years
worth of working capital in his business
and he thought that would bring me to my
senses and I said well praise God we
aren’t in debt yet he just panicked but
you know 12 hours I’m not in debt it’s
it’s fine amen well and you actually
shared about that a little bit in the
last episode in in the video clip that
were in the middle of this building and
yet you it does not keep you awake at
night you’re trusting you just got
it’s your response to God’s ability and
that’s ultimately what this is about and
I don’t do it perfectly so that nobody
will think that I don’t you know that I
do everything perfectly I have to sit
there and take my thoughts captive
because if I’m not careful I’ll go to
bed thinking about oh God what are we
going to do and I have to sit there and
cast my care over on the Lord amen you
know that’s what it says in First Peter
chapter 5 and when you cast a lure or
something that you you have to it takes
some effort and it takes some training
to be able to cast properly and so uh it
sometimes it takes a little bit to shut
down your mind and get to where you’re
walking out of your heart amen well
we’re going to um jump into the new clip
where you’re talking about uh continuing
to talk about this Revelation that’s
necessary so we’ll come back right after
that God isn’t healing people today
people are receiving what he did 2,000
years ago Jesus isn’t saving people
today people are receiving the Salvation
that he provided 2,000 years ago people
aren’t being directed today they are
just receiving the plan that God has
already planned for them maybe I ought
to say it this way God’s already made
the plan but he is just revealing to you
the plan that he already had established
he is not seeing your situation and then
coming up with an alternate plan and
just now trying to figure things out no
he’s already got his plan made for you
and you just need the revelation of what
he’s already doing here in Ephesians
he’s praying that he would give you the
spirit of wisdom and Revelation in the
knowledge of him Verse 18 the eyes of
your understanding being enlightened
that you may know what is the hope of
his calling and what the riches of the
glory of his inheritance in the
Saints man I could spend an hour on each
one of these verses these are things I
have prayed this prayer for myself
hundreds thousands of times these are
things that I’ve taught on many many
times but he’s praying that you would
your eyes would be enlightened your
understanding in other words the problem
isn’t that God hasn’t moved the problem
is we don’t know what God has done we’re
asking God to give us that which we’ve
already
got you know I’ve often taken my Bible
and when I’m in a situation where I’ve
got a live audience I’ll walk up to
somebody on the front row I’ll just hand
them my Bible and so they’re sitting
there holding my Bible and then I say
now if you were to pray and say oh
please give me your Bible could I please
have your Bible I said you could get
tears you could be urgent you could be
sincere but if you’re asking me to give
you something that I’ve already given
you how do I respond to
that I probably wouldn’t know how to
respond I’d probably just look at you
like man your elevator doesn’t go all
the way to the top floor you got what
you’re asking for what do I do it’d
probably just be silence on my part very
similar to the response many of you get
when you asking God to heal you when
you’re asking God to bless you to
prosper you to do these things you just
hear silence you know why because God
has already given it to
you you know if God could be
confused I believe he would be confused
I could just imagine the father looking
over to Jesus and saying didn’t you tell
them that by your stripes they were
healed It’s Already Done why are they
asking me to heal them I’ve already done
it I’ve placed this power on the inside
of them why don’t they just use what
they’ve got instead of asking me to give
them what I’ve already given
them boy that’s powerful so he’s praying
that your eyes of your understanding
would be open that you may know what is
the hope of his calling and what the
riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the
Saints boy this is important the glory
of God the riches of the glory of his
inheritance isn’t in heaven someplace
it’s in the
Saints I have the glory of God 2
Thessalonians chapter 2 says that I have
been called to the obtaining of the
glory of the Lord Jesus Christ I’ve
already got it this glory is in me it’s
not in heaven someplace it’s not out
there we don’t have to pray the glory
down we got to pray it out it’s not
getting God to come down and it’s
getting God to come out out through us
and the and the blockage is in this mind
it’s the way we think it’s clogging up
the pipe but God has already placed the
glory of his inheritance is in the
Saints you know if most people wanted to
just imagine the glory of God they would
close their eyes and they would try and
picture the throne in heaven and the
angels round about and the 24 elders and
the living creatures and they would do
all of that but the glory of God I’m not
saying that’s not glorious but that that
same glory is inside of us it’s not out
there it’s in
me man that’s powerful and the average
person cannot receive that because they
go look in the mirror and they think
this is Glory no you’re just looking on
the outer
person and they then they search their
mental their emotional part and they
think this is the glory of God no that’s
your soul but in your spirit you are a
completely brand new species that never
existed and you have the glory of God on
the inside of you he’s praying here that
you would get a revelation of the riches
of the glory of his inheritance which is
in
you I’m telling you brothers and sisters
everything that you need isn’t out there
and if you pray maybe God will give it
to you maybe he won’t he’s already given
it to you by Grace he’s already put
everything that you need on the inside
of you it’s not a matter of getting God
to do something it’s a matter of you
believing and learning how to draw it
out by
faith that’s a huge difference it’s a
huge difference if people would
understand this it would get rid of a
lot of the foolishness that’s being done
about intercession today where they’re
talking about that the heavens are
blocked and our prayers can’t get up to
God you don’t need your prayer to get
above your nose God lives here on the
inside of you you know in the Old
Testament Daniel there was a deal where
where the Demonic Powers block their
prayers from getting up to God but we
live in the New Covenant God himself
lives on the inside of you Christ is in
you you don’t need your prayers to get
past these demonic
Powers I’m telling you this is just so
simple once you see it but the body of
Christ as a whole does not believe this
they are believing that they’ve got to
get their prayers up to God they are
calling on God to come down
he’s already down he’s on the inside of
you that’s what this is talking about
just praying that you’d get a revelation
of what you’ve already got and then in
verse 19 it says and what he wants you
to get a revelation of what is the
exceeding greatness of his power to us
word who believe he wants you to see the
exceeding
greatness did you know when you look
these words up in the Greek
language it it really is redundant it’s
unnecessary to say this it’s a
superlative when he talks about he’s
wanting you to see the greatness of
God’s power but that wasn’t big enough
and so he says the exceeding greatness
of his power it’s just a superlative
trying to say that man it is more than
enough you have more than enough power
on the inside of you how much is it it
says it’s the same power that he worked
in Christ when he raised him from the
dead and set him in his own right hand
in the Heavenly place is far above all
principality and might and dominion and
every name that is named not only in
this world but also in that which is to
come and hath put all things under his
feet and gave him to be the head over
all things to the church which is his
body the fullness of him that filth all
in all I’m telling you there is a lot in
these verses but he’s just praying that
you would get a revelation of what
you’ve already got the power that you
have on the inside of you if you are
born again if you have made Jesus your
lord the power you have on the inside of
you is the same power that was used to
raise Jesus from the dead and you don’t
have just a token little amount of it
whereas it took this much power to get
God raised Jesus raised from the dead
but you’ve got just a little bit of it
no You’ got the same power the exceeding
great and precious power that used to
raise Jesus from the dead you already
have it on the inside of you and yet how
many of you ask God to give you more
power you you don’t need any more power
I heard Kenneth Copeland say one time
that he was praying and asking God to
give him more power and God interrupted
him and said Kenneth where am I going to
get any more power I’ve already given
you the same power that raised Jesus
from the dead God can’t give you any
more power he can’t give you any more
anointing now you can operate in more
power you can operate in more anointing
but God can’t give you anymore you’ve
already got the the fullness of the
godhead dwelling in you bodily
Colossians 2: 9 and 10 you’ve already
got this you’ve got the exceeding
greatness of his power that’s on the
inside of you you don’t need more power
what you need is a revelation of what
you’ve already got and then you need to
learn how to release it and how to use
it it’s not just automatic God has
placed all of this power on the inside
of you but you have to renew your mind
in Romans 12: 1 and 2 these are the
verses that the Lord used to transform
my life back in 1967 is when I first
started meditating on those verses and
it says I beseech you therefore Brethren
by the mercies of God that you present
your bodies a Living Sacrifice holy
acceptable unto God which is your
reasonable service and verse two says
and be not conformed to this world but
be transformed the word transform there
is the same word that we get
metamorphosis from if you want to be
like a little caterpillar that spits a
cocoon and comes out of butterfly if you
want that kind of
transformation you get transformed by
the renewing of your mind that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable
and perfect will of God you don’t need
God to give you more you’ve already got
everything but now you get transformed
you release this life that’s been placed
on the inside of you through the
renewing of your
mind well there’s so much to talk about
because this is our our last clip and I
mean we could probably spend two or
three episodes just wrapping everything
up but I love how you end with this in
Ephesians chapter 1 those are some of my
favorite verses I when I when I when I
get a new Bible that’s where I go to
First is Ephesians chapter 1 after I
smell it something about a smell of a
new Bible so the smell of a new Bible
then Ephesians chapter 1 because you
love the smell more than you love the
Bible or what are you
saying it’s all so good it’s a sweet
smelling incense it’s sweet selling in
but Ephesians chapter 1 you said that
this was really key when you got a
revelation tell us about why that you
know how I got this Revelation I’d read
these verses before and I’m sure I’d
gotten some out of it but going back to
what we were saying I think in a
previous episode I didn’t ever prepare
and I just put myself in a position
where I had to have come out on me I’ve
been filling myself with and I I had a
group of about 50 people in a Bible
study and I didn’t have a thing to share
nothing it was a total blank wow and so
I said well let’s turn to and I just
opened my Bible and put my finger and it
was Ephesians chapter one open and shoot
wow and I don’t recommend that and I’ve
only done this two or three times out of
56 years but I just had nothing to share
and I said let and I started reading
this and as I read it God spoke to me
through these scriptures and this is
where I got a revelation of that is in
ministering it to other people amen it
was significant does that happen often
Andrew no I said only two or three times
in 50 something years no I mean in terms
of Revelation coming as you’re
ministering oh yeah I mean I but I
wouldn’t I wouldn’t say that what I’m
ministering is pure Revelation but I’ll
like say sometimes the way you say it
yeah it’s the way I say it and maybe
he’ll bring another scripture to my mind
that I’ve never applied that scripture
to it and so I do get Revelation while
I’m ministering but no it’s not good to
get up and preach things that you don’t
already know but but this instance it
happened that way and basically what
this is saying is that he’s praying that
you wouldn’t get anything new but that
you would get a revelation of what you
already have like in the 18th verse the
eyes of your understanding and the word
for understanding there in the Greek is
dioa and it means deep thought is what
it’s talking about so that you would U
um the eyes of your understanding would
be enlightened that you may know what is
the hope of his calling and what the
riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the Saints and so he’s not praying
that you’ll get something more right you
know if I was to be with a group of
people and say let’s write down a prayer
and we’re going to make this so that
2,000 years from now this will apply to
those people because we’re reading this
2,000 years after it was written and if
I was to say what would you pray for
people 2,000 years in the future most
people’s prayers would be something like
oh God just move pour out your spirit do
a new thing touch these people it would
be all asking God to do something but
Paul’s prayer is praying that you would
get a revelation of what God has already
done yeah now see that’s totally
different yeah in the first three
chapters of
Ephesians are all talking about what has
already been done and there’s not only
this prayer in the first chapter but in
the third chapter it’s the same thing
that uh you would get a revelation of
the height the depth the length and the
breadth of the love of Christ and to
know the love of God which passes
knowledge so the first three chapters
are all about everything as a done deal
just get a revelation of what you’ve got
and then the last three chapters of
Ephesians is how you walk it out now
because of this there should be Unity
among the Believers talks about the
husband and wife relationship a slave
master relationship and parent child
relationship so the last three chapters
are about the application but the first
three chapters are just all about you’ve
already got everything you’ll ever need
and he’s just praying that our eyes
would get open to what we already have
yeah amen so a verse that sum summarizes
that is finem in Chapter 1 Verse 6 where
Paul for Von and says I pray that the
communication of your faith would become
effectual by the acknowledging of every
good thing which is not by praying and
getting God to do something but just
acknowledge what you’ve already got amen
and what a what a revelation to be set
free to that you can wake up in the
morning and Lord thank you for all that
you’ve given me I mean can you imagine
the the the kind of lifestyle of of
Thanksgiving and gratitude people
actually start to live into because they
understand it’s already been given they
already possess it they didn’t have to
earn it man that’s where you that’s
where that Thanksgiving comes did you
know that your Thanksgiving or lack
thereof is a great indication of whether
you’ve got a revelation of Grace because
once you understand Grace and you
understand that it’s not based on you so
you don’t have to fear rejection if you
mess up and stuff you will just live a
life of Thanksgiving because it’s it’s
Jesus is the same yesterday today and
forever and if it’s all based on Jesus
well then God’s attitude toward you is
going to be the same yesterday today
that’s so good and and gratitude is a
result of things that have happened in
the past not not are going to happen in
the future that’s right because you
can’t thank God for something that
hadn’t happened exactly so it’s like
you’re thaning God saying Lord thank you
so much this is a done deal this is
complete well I don’t know I guess let
me ask that question I do think maybe I
I well you can thank him by faith yeah
yeah because it’s Faith you get your you
have this gratitude UD because of Grace
and what he’s accomplished and then that
gratitude’s also trans Lord I Thank you
that my body is and so then your
gratitude starts
confessing and responding to everything
he’s based upon you can thank God thank
you Father that in heaven I’ve Got a
Mansion I’m going to live on streets
that are paved to go but that’s not
reality yet that’s some so you can thank
God in that sense but typically like
when we have Thanksgiving you’re
thinking back to the founding of this
nation you’re thinking back to the the
goodness of God and like in the
scriptures where it says give thanks
unto the Lord for he’s good and his
Mercy endures forever and then it starts
listing all the things that he’s done
yeah Thanksgiving primarily is
recognizing what is already happen so to
your point when you understand Grace
that God has already done everything
well then it just leads into a life of
Thanksgiving you won’t be a gper and
complainer we look at Hebrews chapter 11
it says now Faith is the substance of
things hoped for the evidence of things
not seen you can’t have substance of
something that’s not already complete
that’s not already there yeah so it’s
it’s already done it’s already complete
so you’re just you’re just walking in
the Gratitude you know if a person was
to pass out one of the first things
they’ll do is check and see if there’s a
pulse and to see if you’re still alive
or not and in a sense you can check
whether you’re alive spiritually by
whether you’re giving thanks a person
who isn’t thanking God it’s like you
don’t have a pulse you aren’t healthy
something’s wrong with you because uh
man there’s so many scriptures Psalms
chapter 34 I Will Bless The Lord at all
times his praise shall continually be in
my mouth Philippians chapter 4
verse4 uh rejoice in the lord always and
again I say rejoice uh and just on and
on the scriptures go about praising God
it says let all those who seek thee
rejoice and be glad in thee if you are
seeking the Lord for an answer you
should already be rejoicing because you
have confidence that it’s going to come
to pass yeah so a person who’s not
praising God and is not thankful is a
person who is not really trusting in God
they are fearful that they aren’t going
to obtain what God wants them to do and
that’s not Faith that’s well it’s said
do not be anxious but in everything with
amen prayers and supplications with
Thanksgiving making your request made
known to God it’s with Thanksgiving
you’re bringing amen before him these
things because Lord I’m bringing before
you this illness because I know you’ve
already done it so it’s with you’re
you’re you’re handing it up to him but
you’re doing it with Thanksgiving
because you’re receiving what that he’s
already done so back to this example of
all this money we need for construction
and stuff we haven’t seen my goal uh
meant and I’m a little disappointed but
I’m not discouraged I’m not despair or
anything like that because I know that
God has come through in the past and
even when I’ve missed it he comes
through and blesses me amen and stuff
and so you just continually are praising
God I hadn’t gotten despondent I hadn’t
gotten discouraged about it it’ll all
come to pass so as we’re talking about
this balance of Grace and Faith one of
the things that you talked about in this
lesson is the we need to renew our minds
to what we possess and that being such a
a critical thing more than them just
listening to 20 episodes of us talking
about the balance of Grace and Faith
they need to renew their mind so how
does a person start that if they haven’t
been consistent and they’ve been trapped
in religion what are some of the
basic fundamental things that they can
start with because sometimes people feel
like it’s so much to get a hold of well
it can be overwhelming I remember when
the Lord first touched my life and I got
a vision of where he wanted me to go and
it seemed like from where I was to there
was huge yeah and I just God what do I
do and he told me just stick your nose
in the book and don’t come out and it’ll
show you everything you need and so over
a period of 56 years I’ve grown a lot
but I could say this to somebody who’s
watching this and gets touched that uh
you don’t have to just learn everything
through hard knocks no we take all of
the experience of these different
instructors and the things that we’ve
been through and we we boil it down to
the main point so that they can take it
it’s not a substitute for them getting
Revelation but it will it’s like a track
to run on and it’ll show you here’s what
worked for us and they can take these
scriptures and it’ll speed up the
process yeah I don’t think people have
to take 56 years away it ask for me
hopefully they can cover it in a lot
less well and that’s one of the reasons
your your vision for gtn and the network
is so that we could have multiple things
that are consistent with the word of God
going and discipling people in all the
Spheres of their lives because this word
isn’t just for one sphere like this is
for your private spiritual life but it’s
for every sphere your life it’s for your
family and your marriage and your
business and your calling and your
children and your and finances and
healing and that’s why we have all of
these programs on all of these different
things because you have to renew your
mind that this Grace and Faith is for
every sphere of your life and let me say
that you can’t just study like Grace and
Faith to me everything fits together
yeah and the basic Revelation that God
gave me that we already dealt with was
Spirit soul and body if you don’t
understand that there is a spiritual
realm out there as well as in you then
how can you understand Grace when it
says that you have been healed by his
stripes it’s not going to happen it’s
already happening how can you understand
that if you can’t see it you’ve got to
understand that there’s a spiritual
world yeah so you could take my teaching
on Spirit soul and body you could take a
teaching I’ve got on um you’ve already
got it and then this teaching that we
have uh on the living in the balance of
Grace and Faith and just so many other
things M and through that it’s listening
to me is not a substitute for this
person getting it but listening to me
could open you up to thoughts that you
haven’t had and then God could confirm
it and amplify and apply it to your life
and it’ll save you a lot of effort amen
yeah no I think that’s you just said
that it’s not a substitute and so if
anybody’s listening to this it’s not us
just hearing your journey but it’s
saying okay there’s a journey that God
has for each and every one of us us and
the word’s right there ready to lead us
and guide us it’s already provided it’s
just well we have the humility to accept
that it can be ours today amen and
listening to people should make us
hungry for the word as well that if if
God can speak these things to other
people he can speak these things to me
because it’s not just about somebody
else’s Revelation like you were talking
about before it’s not just living off of
your Revelation Andrew orc your
Revelation carry it’s about this is what
God said to me well there’s times that
I’ve been praying and asking God for
something and I’ll hear some somebody
else say something that is just a
complete answer to what I wanted and
it’s like why didn’t I think of that how
come I never saw this scripture that way
so I’ll have I don’t just go off with
their Revelation but that will put me
Point me back to the word I’ll go back
and study it and God confirms it and you
don’t have to learn everything through
hard knock amen that’s good well this
has been amazing and I know throughout
all throughout this whole series we’ve
been encouraging people to get the book
on the balance of Grace and Faith the

listen to listen to these over again but

one of the things that we really and you
heard Andrew’s heart that he’s praying
that as you’ve been listening to this

getting a revelation of this this it

I tell you right now God wants you to
get this Revelation more than you do so
if you open up your heart God can’t God
can do this because he even talks about
how he prayed these things hundreds
thousands of times and there was just
different times and different times it
just clicked and can I tell you I
believe that this is something God’s
wanting to do in you today you know you
look at what what Andrew talked about
there in uh in Ephesians chapter 1
through3 and then also 4 through six on
how the first three chapters was all
about what we already have and that was
Paul’s prayer for us it was that our the
eyes of our understanding would be
enlightened that would really we would
really comprehend with all the SS what
the depth and breadth and and and and
depth of height and and the height of
God of the love of God is and really
that is should be our prayer as well is
that we have our eyes enlightened that
as we read the word as we develop a
relationship with the word that they
comes alive to us that we begin to
really understand and comprehend with
all the saints what God has already
accompl
and that really is the grace message is
that it is already finished it is done
it is complete yeah and I think when we
talk about Revelation it’s not praying
oh God you know um oh God please help me
to to receive this please help me to or
help or help my husband or my wife get
this you know right but it’s coming to
actually a place of Lord I praise you
that you are revealing to me what I
already possess Lord there’s so much I
don’t even realize I own I have with
inside of me so father I just thank you
for revelation of what you’ve done what
I possess how to use it versus like oh
God please give it to me you know Andrew
I love what Andrew said in the the new
clip he said when you keep asking God
for the same thing over and over he said
asking God for things that you already
have he said if God could be
confused now he can’t but he can also be
just like children like oh my gosh I
wonder if sometimes the spirit of slap
comes upon the Lord as well you no
that’s not the nature of God I know I’m
just joking but you know again going on
we going back to what we said in
Ephesians chapter 1 through3 is all
about what we already have but then
chapters 4 through6 talks talks about
the the fruit what does it look like as
we live this life out how does it how
does it impact uh employees and
employers Fathers and Sons mothers and
daughters all these different aspects of
what that overflow is actually called to
look like in our lives and as
we understand that it’ll be a natural
reaction yeah uh of the love of God of
the grace of God as it overflows out of
us to have peace to have relationship
with those people that are around us to
really come to a right relationship
based upon the word of God not based
upon the principles of this world based
upon the word of God how do we relate
one to another yeah and as we walk that
out more and more we really do begin to
understand what God has already placed
on the inside of us the Joy the peace
the Revelation the understanding it
really changes our actions and that’s
really I believe a big part of faith is
actually believing that it’s a it’s it’s
already complete that it’s done de and I
think that’s why in in our conversation
the one-on-one with Andrew we talk so
much about gra gratitude and
thankfulness and
gratefulness and honestly it’s a sign I
believe um gratitude and thankfulness is
a sign of you starting to walk in a
revelation of Grace that’s what Andrew
he said you can check to see a person if
a person is alive spiritually by their
Thanksgiving yeah because you start to
they start like Lord thank you versus
Lord please would you please it’s like
Lord thank you that I’m Healed today and
Lord I Thank you for your wisdom that
you’ve granted me thank you Lord you
teach me to walk and this Holy Spirit be
my guide and my comforter it’s a
gratefulness a thankfulness that comes
out and that’s how prayer starts to
become this powerful weapon of Faith
because your praise is aligning with
what he’s accomplished amen and now
you’re just activating what belongs to
you that inheritance and so I I’m going
to encourage you if you’re finding
yourself grumbling whining and
complaining it’s probably because you
got faith in your faith it’s a it’s a
it’s a stark reality yeah and so if
you’re whining moaning and complaining
um it’s not blessing you it’s not
blessing anyone else and so you can
start to switch and say Lord I just
thank you that my how the the the things
that come out of my mouth now are lining
up with the gift of Grace and I’m coming
into Thanksgiving of what belongs to me
so then Holy Spirit teach me reveal to
me Open the Eyes of My Heart and praying
for this Revelation that we’ve been
talking about it’s like Andrew even said
he said where do I start growing how do
I start growing in really understanding
the balance of Grace and Faith he even
said he said stick your nose in this
book yeah really get into the word of
God discover all that God has already
accomplished for for us through his
great and precious promises through his
word because you know again Jesus walked
out perfectly the grace of God in this
world and as you read about Jesus as you
read about his attitudes as you read
about his actions we really do begin to
see a perfect picture of who God called
us to be and how do we how do we reach
out and take hold of it yeah we do it by
faith it’s not because we have to it’s
because we get to it’s not because it’s
it’s a it’s it’s a it’s a God won’t love
won’t love you as much or he’ll he’ll he
won’t use you the reality is that nobody
is usable by God except for when we take
hold of these great and precious
promises through faith amen honestly
there are so many more things that
obviously we would say that Andrew has
said there is so much teaching available
and guys this is just short clip
