I’m getting back in the
saddle well I’m going to bring you
increase message for today and um I want
to look at Proverbs
1820 and
21
um it’s talking about uh you’ll have
what you say and basically we’re talking
about you can uh provide your own
economic recovery I don’t know what
you’re saying economically but I do know
this you do have a mouth and that mouth
is the beginning of things happening in
your life it’s talking about a man’s
belly shall be satisfied by the fruit of
his mouth now that’s talking about what
you say is what you get in other words
um you can be tithing for example and um
in tithing uh he said then in verse 13
but your words are stout against me see
you can even tithe and start talking
against it and cut it
off um my wife for example uh needed
that job in Tulsa and uh she had to get
her mouth right
and notice what it did true enough she
had to seore a seed but if she hasn’t
hadn’t spoken the right words then it
would be off for not it goes on to say
and of the increase of his lips shall he
be filled now you ever heard the
expression loose lips sink
ships uh that was the time during the
war and um the enemy was was trying to
overhear the secret of what cargo was
going out when and and so forth and
loose lips telling secrets of the cargo
would sink the ships uh you could see
that over in uh Mark chapter 4 and uh
here in uh uh verse 38 and 3940 41 this
is when that storm came up and uh they
cried out they said Lord we’re going to
die and Jesus had to get up and reverse
those words so you see he’s given us
words as the all-controlling
factor so you can start your own
economic recovery right now now he goes
on to say in the Book of James is any of
you seem to be religious and bridleth
not his tongue he deceiveth himself and
his religion is vain that means that you
know what you all made up to be and what
you uh spoused to be that’s for nothing
because you’re not saying the right
thing uh when we were over on uh Madison
Street and uh I mean people were staying
away now how do we reverse this um we
had to say what God Said So what we did
is we uh you know got a confession and
put it up on the board and said it every

service this is lips let’s look at James
3:2 in many things we offend all If any
man offend not in word the same as a
perfect man and able to bride a whole
body now he’s saying that really words
you can train your body with words you
can actually do something with words
then he goes on and talks about a ship
and talks about the tongue is like a a
Rudder you know you got a big ship and
you need to turn that ship another
Direction you’re going to have to use a
Rudder the same thing about your your
your life if you want to change your
life
economically and have it to do something
else then you’re going to have to change
your tongue that’s going to have to be
first I mean at first when you that
Rudder it’s just like it’s plowing water
plowing water but eventually it turns
that’s the same thing about the tongue I
remember when U we had started at Lake
in palas put the picture up there Le of
palaski Hallelujah and um I mean we were
we needed money and uh so forth so um I
came out one night and they had stolen
my car now I’m down to nothing you know
and so I’m walking to the post office we
lived in Oak Park walking into the post
office back and forth but I said this
scripture every day that I walk it’s in
2 Corinthians 98 God is able to make all
grace abound towards you so you’re
always having all things and all
sufficiency shall abound to every good
work now I would say that I’d say it in
the Amplified God is making all Grace
every favor Earthly blessing come to me
in abundance that always and under all
circumstances whatever they the need
self-sufficient having enough to require
no way of support and furnished in
abundance for every good worker you know
that that scripture is in me right now
and it’s still
working so I’m just saying you can make
your own economic recovery whatever you
need wherever you’re down in finances
let’s say your paycheck is not enough
get your mouth working your words are

let’s get a word of prayer Heavenly
Father we thank you for giving us your
word that is first place in our hearts
and our lives I thank you Father God
that this word of God would come out
unhindered and unchecked by any outside
force that you would think through my
mind and speak through my lips I thank
you Father Lord that as I decrease you
will increase as I step back you will
step forward that this seed will go into
every heart and bear forth much good
fruit now Lord we decree and declare
signs wonders and miracles in
confirmation of the word preached here
today in Jesus name

God well God wants us to be
fruitful and that’s what I want to talk
to you about this morning fruitfulness
that the Bible says in Colossians
chapter 1 in verse 10 in the New Living
Translation it says that it’s God’s
desire that our lives produce every kind
of good
fruit every kind of good fruit no matter
who you are where you’re from what your
background is like what neighborhood
you’re from what degree you have or
don’t have none of that matters God
wants you to produce good fruit no
matter where you’re at and what’s going
on he wants to show forth his glory
through you how many of you all know
that we’re made and created for God’s
glory but no fruit can be produced it’s
not connected to a Vine or a tree or a
plant and that plant or that tree can’t
grow strong unless it’s produced or
connected to a source we know the trees
they have roots that go into the ground
into the soil they draw nutrients so we
have to be connected to the source in
order to be fruitful amen turn with me
to John 15 and verse
4 and this is the Amplified classic
version it says this dwell in me and I
will dwell in you live in me and I will
live in you just as no Branch can bear
fruit of itself without abiding in being
vitally united to the vine neither can
you bear fruit unless you abide in me
next verse I am the vine you are the
branches whoever lives in me and I in
him bears how much fruit come on say it
loud much abundant fruit however apart
from me cut off from vital Union with me
you can do
nothing and then Jesus goes on to say in
verse eight he says this when you bear
produce much fruit my father is honored
and glorified and you show and prove
yourselves to be true followers of mine
and that’s what we want to do we want to
continue to show forth His Glory by
bearing good fruit in our lives and
there’s some things that God has put in
your heart to do maybe if you’re like me
you like to plan out your year with some
goals right you want to have a focus for
your year and as you’re putting those
goals down maybe December or January of
the new year and you’re looking forward
to do those things it’s a great thing
when you’re able to accomplish every one
of those goals but sometimes If we’re
honest we may not be able to hit each
one of those
goals praise God if you were able to hit
all the goals but sometimes maybe we
need a little help need a little push
amen now I heard like 30 of y’all I I
guess all y’all hitting goals huh y’all
just hitting them hitting them hitting
them boom boom boom that’s okay you
can’t say Amen say Oh Me Oh
me but sometimes we put down these goals
and maybe we feel like life gets in the
way or things go a little bit
differently than we had planned for
things to go I know at the beginning of
the year I had some goals in mind but
you know God has kind of diverted some
of my year and I took on a new
assignment at this platform and it’s
been a great honor to be able to share
with you and be able to deliver the word
of God and be able to serve our pastor
and our first lady in this season like
this but yet I had some goals that took
some energy took some focus and because
of that you know God had put on my heart
to uh write the 30-day devotional uh for
building strong faith for teens and
young adults and he put that on my heart
around May and I said God you see the
direction that my life has been taken
over the last you know couple months you
see what’s going on you know all and yet
you’re asking me to do something that I
feel like I don’t have time to do has
anybody ever been there before oh thank
you praise God we got some honest Saints
in the house at Living Word Christan
Center and online
well I said God like I don’t have time
to do this and he said if you sit down
and start writing I’ll make the time for
you and I was able to actually sit down
over the summer and write it in the
course of three or four weeks and I
found that the time that I didn’t think
I had and didn’t know I had I actually
had but it was hiding itself from me
until I stepped out and actually started
doing what God had told me to do
and sometimes I find that as Believers
we’re waiting for the instructions of
God to become more convenient before we
become more

obedient no no no no that’s not how it
goes
though and it’s time to make the most of
every
opportunity to be fruitful and starting
with right what you have but are you
making the most of everything
opportunity are you making
excuses Ephesians 5 and verse1 15 in the
good news translation it says this so be
careful how you live don’t live like
ignorant people but like wise I got a
lot of wise people in here make good use
of how many
opportunities every opportunity you have
because these are evil days God wants us
to make the most of every opportunity
you have and today I want to minister to
you on the subject titled making the
most of what you got making the most of
what you got as I was praying in
preparation for today’s message all this
week God has been speaking to me and
he’s been speaking to me and said this I
need my people to move forward and focus
on bearing good
fruit I need my people to move move
forward and focus on bearing good fruit
you know our pastor reminds us all the
time there is no such word as retirement
in the
Bible you know why because you can
retire from a job but you can’t retire
from a
calling your calling doesn’t change it
just might shift in how it’s presented
to the
world but you have a calling that will
last for all time for
eternity but there’s a few things I want
you to know before we kind of get
started let me just get into my
introduction Genesis 1 and: 26 and this
is a great um great drama this morning
it uh was a great segue Genesis CH 1 ver
26 then God said let us make man in our
image according to our likeness and let
them have dominion over the fish of the
sea over the birds of the air over all
the cattle over all the Earth every
creeping thing that creeps on the earth
and so and so God created man in his own
image the image of God created him male
and female he created them so we’re made
in God’s image and his likeness this is
something that’s familiar to you so this
is your
potential your potential is God
defined now we’re not God but we were
made in God’s image and likeness we are
Little G’s carrying that same
spirit that it says in Psalms 8 and
verse4 what is man that thou are mindful
of him or the son of man that thou would
Vis visith him for thou Hast made him a
little lower than the angels and has
crowned him with Glory and Honor thou
Hast made him to have dominion over all
the works of thy hands say I have
dominion I have dominion but notice in
Genesis 1 and verse 28 it gives us some
careful instructions about Dominion it
said then God blessed them and God said
to them be fruitful and multiply fill
the Earth and subdue it and have
dominion
over all the other things in the earth
so notice in order to have
dominion we first have to have God’s
image notice it said that God blessed
them and as God blessed them it wasn’t
just something that he was saying in
response to you know Adam and Eve
sneezing it wasn’t like you know that
kind of thing God bless you no no no he
was end doing them with
power that Hebrew word for blessed it
means to transfer
power he gave them the empowerment
necessary to have dominion to be first
fruitful when God blessed them he gave
them the mental intelligence needed to
be perpetually
fruitful so God gave man His Image first
before he gave them the mandate to be
fruitful notice I have here uh some
melon seed seeds so you’ll go to the
store if you want to plant some seeds a
lot of times you’re not just looking for
the seed itself but it’s in a package
that has what on the front of it it’s
got a picture right an image of it and
so what you’re doing is you’re looking
for the image cu the image is the thing
that defines the seed the thing that
helps you identify the seed is the image
notice when you’re looking for the seed
you got to look for the image first
image goes before fruit
so that’s why our pastor preaches so
much about your inner image because he
knows that if you do not have a right
inner image you will not function the
right
way if we have the wrong inner image we
won’t be fruitful the way that God
intended for us to be
fruitful what is
fruitfulness Superior method of
production from the spirit
realm Superior method of production from
the spirit
realm the miracle of innovation and
creativity is about to allow you to
do more than what anyone else has done
it’s about to allow you to do something
that has never been done but you have to
see yourself as an innovator you have to
see yourself as a Creator I like what
our pastor says fulfillment in your life
will only come with
creation it’s part of your DNA
regardless of the job you are
working so I want to encourage you this
morning you’re a walking Solution
Center God has put you in this Earth for
such a time as this to be a solution to
a problem that we’re facing you are
solution
carrier don’t be a solution
barrier how could you be a solution
barrier by not allowing God to plant you
in the places and environments that he
earmarked for you to be able to manifest
the things that he’s placed inside of
you Proverbs 2 and: 7 the bible says
that God stores up sound wisdom for the
righteous or for the upright now who’s
the righteous we are that’s us so that
means that God has stored up sound
wisdom for us for the problems that
Humanity faces and that also can imply
this that when your righteousness is
intact your ability to produce is
Amplified when you’re right
righteousness is intact your ability to
produce is Amplified write this down if
you’re writing notes you are a part of
God’s solution distribution
Network you are a part of God’s solution
distribution
Network so let us go into part
one being fruitful means moving forward
being fruitful means moving forward Luke
chapter 9 and verse
one you know I’m here to get you moving
this
morning and if you’re moving praise God
keep on keep it
on if you’re not moving you got some
work to
do but I’m here to remind you that it’s
time to move forward and make the most
of what you got to be fruitful it says
in Luke chapter 9 and verse one then he
called his 12 disciples together and
gave them the power and authority over
all demons to cure
diseases and he sent them to preach the
kingdom of God and heal the sick and he
said to them take nothing for your
journey neither staffs nor a bag nor
bread nor money now he’s stretching
them he’s having them use their faith
don’t bring anything don’t bring a lunch
don’t bring a debit card you’re just out
there on faith
and do not have two tunics at
peace whatever house you enter stay
there and from there depart and whoever
will not receive you when you go out of
that City shake off the very dust from
your feet as a testimony against them
stop right there notice that God did not
say or Jesus did not say everybody’s
going to receive you they’re going to
love you they’re going to love what you
have to say love what you have to offer
no no he prepared them when you get to a
place where they don’t want to have
anything to do with what you’re giv them
don’t worry about it just shake it off
just shake it off and go to the next
house their disagreement does not
disqualify your
assignment that’s why God needs us to be
bold because if we’re fragile we’ll
start to feel like their disagreement
was a disqualification from
Heaven don’t let people talk you out of
your
anointing I feel the Holy Ghost pointing
me over here don’t let people talk you
out of what God told you to do just
because they didn’t agree just because
they didn’t approve the loan just
because they tried to block the door
don’t let their their stopping you make
you think that they can ultimately stop
you because of God before you no man can
stand against you no one can stop you
from Reaching Your Destiny but

you and Jesus prepared
them he said you’re going to
preach but some may not receive
you and then they departed and went
through the towns preaching the gospel

everywhere
notice the power confirmed the anointing
that was with them and on
them the results confirmed the
Declaration in the
commission notice what Jesus didn’t tell
them getting happy this not even my main
point but it’s good
points Jesus did not tell them exactly
what houses to go to
did he not that we have recorded maybe
there was a a level of conversation
that’s not recorded but as far as what
is recorded in the gospel Jesus didn’t
say okay go to
1121 okay skip over
1124 cuz I’m still working on them go to
1126 South Main Street no no no he
didn’t do that he just gave them the
commission he gave them the
command and I find a lot of times that
that is what God is doing for us us he’s
giving us the commission he’s giving us
the command he’s giving us the
assignment but sometimes if we’re not
careful we’re waiting for him to give us
an address and God said just go to the
neighborhood and when you get there
you’ll get a quickening in your spirit
and you’ll know who to minister
to there are certain things that God
won’t say until you get there
there they weren’t waiting they said
okay Jesus we’ll
go and the Bible says in Romans chap 8
ver14 it says for as many as are led by
the spirit of God these are the sons of
God the mature offspring of God so we
know we need to be spirit-led amen we
have the Holy Ghost the inward witness
that will lead us and guide us so we
have to be spirit-led that’s that’s why
we pray we build ourselves up we pray in
the Holy Ghost to know exactly what
specific direction we need to
take but yet that is not an excuse to be
lazy about your
assignment can we dig a Little
Deeper Psalms chapter 27 and verse1
14 now this the little later crowd so
you got a little bit more sleep so you
know y’all y’all awake and alive with
me I love my first service crowd amen it
says this wait on the Lord be of good
courage and he shall strengthen your
heart wait I say on the
Lord but see waiting is not
passive when we’re talking about waiting
it involves a confident expectation of
God’s intervention or fulfillment of his
promises but there’s a couple different
kinds of waiting there’s one kind of
waiting where you’re sitting on the
couch scrolling through social media
just waiting for your friend or your
cousin or your sister to be ready and
then there’s another kind of waiting
that’s a little bit more active it
reminds me of when you go to a
restaurant and you have a server or we
also call them a
waiter and if you have a good waiter
they’re not somebody who’s in the back
chilling
right you’ve ever had a good waiter
before they’re attentive right they’re
trying to get you what you need even
when you’re taking a long time with your
good-look self you taking a while trying
to figure out what to
order but yet they’re attentive to come
to meet your needs they say hey well can
we get you to drink can we bring out
some bread do you need some
recommendations and that’s what I like
to think of when I see waiting on the
Lord being attentive to do the mission
and assignment even before we get the
specific
order let me let me talk a little bit
more about why I’m talking about
this give you an example okay what if
God is telling you to start a farming
business and you don’t know anything
about
agriculture and so you get this word
from the Lord now you could do one of
two things you could say Okay lord well
I’ll just I’ll pray and I’ll wait on you
to lead me to a specific person or a
specific plot of
land hey that’s good to hear from God
that sounds good
but if you’re not doing anything until
then I challenge how diligent you are
waiting because there’s a couple things
that we can do as we are waiting for God
to reveal some things to our heart we
can be studying agriculture we can take
some online courses about farming and
then in prayer the Holy Spirit quickens
you that your cousin has a best friend
that has a farm you know somewhere in
Indiana and and you can set up a zoom
call with them there’s a number of
things that you can start doing to start
priming the pump because what we’ll find
is that in the midst of those processes
we’ll start to find that there’s some
Divine connections that are forged
there’s some information that we get
that’s needed there’s some learning that
we take on there’s some Revelation that
kicks
in but if we’re not careful we’ll just
sit back and wait and many Christians I
believe don’t know how to wait
on we think we’re waiting and God says
that’s not waiting that’s
stalling because if God has said okay I
want you to get into this then let’s do
what we can to be
diligent about what we can find out
about this and see what God would say in
the midst of it now if God tells you hey
don’t do that you don’t do that if he
says back off that you back off
that but yet you want to keep moving
forward I believe that’s sometimes what
we call waiting on
God it’s not really waiting on
God what we’re doing is waiting to
become more comfortable in doing
something that’s
difficult maybe we’re trying to put
timidity on
God maybe we’re talking ourselves out of
moving forward I know that’s nobody here
this is the ones that didn’t make it to
church this morning you can share this
message with
them but let’s go back to the scripture
what does it say wait on the Lord and
what is that second part if you can put
it back up wait on the Lord what’s the
second part
say say aloud be of good courage be of
good courage I think the writer knew
something about this that as I’m waiting
on the Lord sometimes in waiting it
might get discouraging so I got to be of
good courage to keep moving forward in
God to keep trusting God to keep going
where he tells me to
go and sometimes we want God to be like
Google Maps right we enter in the
destination and then we see all the
points and the turns go 5 and a half
miles here turn left there do is but
sometimes that’s not how God is working
the Bible says in Proverbs chapter 3 and
verses 5 and 6 trust in the Lord with
all of your heart lean not to your own
understanding and all your ways
acknowledge Him and He he shall direct
your paths but I have news for you if
you’re not moving there’s nothing to
direct so this is what happens you step
out and God starts speaking you step out
again God says turn left you go to the
left God says stop he says turn right
you turn to the right keep going he says
stop he says slide to the
right and then he says keep going
and then what you’ll find is every step
of the way every step of progress leads
to some Divine
breakthrough leads to Divine
productivity I hear God saying that
somebody has been stopping their Harvest
by shutting down their
productivity but God is ready to
divinely transfer some things to you but
you got to step out and create a space
where God can direct you and divinely
organize your
life you never know that agricultural
farm that might become a multi-
multi-million dollar industry and
Endeavor for you you never know I don’t
know why God put farming as an example
on my heart I’m going to tell you I
tried to put a different example a
couple different times and God said no
go back and put a farming example I
don’t know nothing about no agriculture
I’ve never talked about farming but if
that’s you then that’s for
you you know the children of Israel they
waited in the wilderness for how
long 40 years and it says in I believe
Deuteronomy that the trip only took 11
days so they weren’t waiting on
God God was waiting for their inner
image to match up with what he had
promised them and so since the adults
couldn’t get it right he said okay I’ll
wait on your kids I’ll wait I got
eternity so I’ll
wait but they didn’t have to do that it
didn’t have to be that way they didn’t
have to go around the Wilderness for 39
and 3/4
years they could have entered into the
promised land right
away but I don’t want you to be like the
children of Israel just waiting and
waiting stop waiting for the assignment
that God has put before you to get
easier pray that you become stronger
Bolder more courageous more diligent
more Discerning more passionate stop
praying for it to be easier pray to be
stronger you have the anointing that is
the burden removing yoke destroying
power power of God it comes on human
flesh that gives you the opportunity to
do what only God can do but stop waiting
to feel
anointed if you step out the anointing
shows up but you have to place a demand
on the anointing inside of you there’s a
level of creativity and Innovation that
is just waiting in the Heavens to be
birthed through
you but when you step out you create a
spiritual demand within you for
something that you don’t currently have
to be downloaded to
you you’ve got the gift you’ve got the
potential all you’re are waiting for is
the anointing create the demand by
stepping
out am I talking to somebody this
morning I believe a new level of
boldness is coming to you today in Jesus
name a new level of Courage is coming to
you today in Jesus
name Psalms 37:23 says the steps of a
good man are ordered by the Lord and He
Delights in his
way we got to be
diligent the Bible says the hand of the
diligent shall bear rule in Proverbs 12
and verse 24 it’s
diligence I was watching a Michael
Jordan interview on social media
recently
and the interviewer was asking Michael
Jordan said you know did you ever fear
failure was fear of failure ever a thing
for
you and his response was interesting he
said no he kind of paused he said not
really because I put in the
work I said oh okay speak Michael Jordan
Speak he said I put in the
work and then he went on to say work
ethic eliminates fear
because when I know I put in the work
and I know what I’m capable of then when
I step up to the play I know what I can
do how many of you all know that you can
even do more than what you can do you
can do exceedingly abundantly more than
you can ask or think according to the
power that works inside of you there’s a
holy ghost power that resides in you for
miracal signs and wonders being done
through you as a
vessel but you got to receive it by
faith Hallelujah that’s a good place to
shout right

there Proverbs 16:9 it says this a man’s
heart plans his way but the Lord directs
his
steps
Hallelujah you may not be able to see
all of what’s going on but as long as
you’re walking by faith there’s
movement I said as long as you’re
walking by faith there’s
movement that brings me to part two
the risk of
fruitlessness part number two the risk
of
fruitlessness praise
God Matthew chapter 21 and verse
18 now we’ve seen this scripture a
number of times we go through Mark’s
account of it in Mark chap 11 you can
read it in your own
time but this account says now in the
morning as he Jesus returned to the city
he was hungry say hungry hungry like
some of y’all might might be right now
and seeing a fig tree maybe I’m telling
on
myself we have Harvest 365 Grill if
you’re
hungry or if you’d like to prepare your
own food we have living Fresh
Market and seeing a fig tree by the road
he came to it and found nothing on it
but leaves and said to it let no fruit
grow on you ever again immediately the
Fig Tree did what immediately it
withered away
see Jesus showed no tolerance for
something that should have been bearing
fruit but
wasn’t and what’s interesting about this
is that in that
region fig trees often would bear fruit
at the same time of growing leaves or
even in some cases the leaves would grow
first and then uh the excuse me the Fig
would grow first and then the leaves but
any way it goes if leaves are in full
bloom that would mean that there must be
figs on that tree that’s the point I’m
trying to get to uh Mark Secord of this
uh different Parable this time he talks
about that the season of figs was not
yet and that’s what it means the season
of gathering figs had not yet come so
any way you slice it there should have
been figs on this
tree but yet there was
not this tree was a hypocrite
this tree was a
hypocrite because the leaves suggested
that this tree was getting all the
nourishment
necessary to
get it said in the Bible that Jesus
seeing the Fig Tree a far
off having leaves on it and he went with
an expectation to find something so
since this Le tree had so many leaves we
know that it was getting nourishment but
yet it was not producing like it was
commanded to oh
Lord see this tree created a false
expectation and Jesus stepped up to it
waiting to gather what the tree was
supposed to provide because the tree
doesn’t provide fruit nourishment to
nourish
itself the whole reason of the fruit is
to nourish someone else see what’s
inside of you is not for you it’s for
me pastor says I don’t want you to leave
the Earth with my stuff there’s
something inside of you that you carry
that benefits
Humanity but I’m here to remind you be
fruitful and here to encourage you don’t
be a
hypocrite see Jesus was hungry for what
the tree was supposed to offer
nourishment to satisfy hunger doesn’t
the whole earth
groan and manifestation or waiting for
the manifestation of the sons of God all
of creation is waiting but the tree
didn’t do its job and Jesus demonstrated
the attitude that we all should take
toward
fruitlessness no tolerance say no
tolerance no tolerance say it again no
tolerance no tolerance
we should have no tolerance for
fruitlessness and some theologians they
suggest this was a allegory of some sort
that the Jews were the ones who were
this unprofitable fig
tree full of the leaves of profession
but fruitless in
works and why did Jesus curse it did he
did he curse it because he was just
angry because he was
hungry I’ll have to ask him when I get
to heaven
however I propose that Jesus cursed this
fig tree because it had lost sight of
its
purpose it was existing
purposelessly without purpose there was
no reason for it to exist it’s just
sucking up nourishment from the ground
and wasting it on being fruitless
but that’s not
you that describes some others but
that’s not you because it talks about
you in Psalms chap 1 and verse3 it says
this that you shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of Living Water
that brings forth fruit in its season
say it’s my season say it’s my season of
fruitfulness
SE whose Leaf shall also not wither and
whatever he does shall prosper
whatever you do it shall prosper but
that’s because you’re focusing on
fruitfulness you’re focusing on moving
forward you’re focusing on being a
blessing to
others you have everything you need to
be
fruitful so
produce and don’t make
excuses there’s a college basketball
player who’s grown and and risen in
popularity recently his name is Hansel
Emanuel and I’m really encouraged by his
story story because he’s a little
different than some of the other players
see a lot of the other players they have
a lot of similarities but for him when
he was younger he had his arm amputated
because of an accident that happened
with some cinder blocks falling on his
arm so he plays basketball with one arm
but yet is dominating in Collegiate
basketball because he’s decided that I’m
not going to make any
excuses for what my current situation is
that I’m going to move forward and still
use the athletic gift that God has given
me I’m here to tell you that anybody who
wants an excuse can always find
one but if you want God to empower you
and Endo you with power to succeed you
can find that
too it just depends on what you
want see Romans
11:29 says this in the cev version it
says God doesn’t take back the gifts he
has given or disown the people he has
chosen oh that’s good news he doesn’t
take it back no take backs what he’s put
inside of you is for you and he won’t
take it
back but sometimes we can feel like that
gift is not doing what it’s supposed to
do if it’s
dormant and that gift starts to grow
dormant when we don’t step out out and
use
it and he said this gift he’s given you
it’s for you to keep but he didn’t say
it’s for you to
hide don’t hide your gift I like what
our Pastor said in a staff meeting
earlier we had this week as uh as all
the staff gathered he said this your
potential is for your generation and if
you don’t release it you rob the world
of your creative contribution

God has called us to
do and God has called us to use it in
our lifetime with the time and
opportunity we have he’s called us to
make the most of what we have and God
has gifted me as an encourager as a
communicator but what if I never
encourage anybody
what if I never communicate this gospel
to
anybody that I’m not using the gift the
way that God has designed for me to use
it but what if I’m waiting until a
platform like this to use the
gift well that’s good to use it up here
but that’s also missing the mark because
I can use it any and everywhere that
people are I can use it at Living Fresh
Market when I’m shopping for my
groceries I can use it when I’m around
the parents from my daughter’s
basketball game I can use it on social
media I can use it when I’m going around
town I can use it when I’m talking to a
friend I can use this gift of
communicating the gospel and
encouragement to anyone who needs
encouragement cuz what I found is there
is no lack of people who need to be
encouraged but if I’m waiting for it to
come a certain way I might miss the
opportunities that God has earmarked for
me see it says in Romans 12 in verse 6
it said this having then gifts differing
according to the grace that is given to
us let us use
them not let us hide them not let us sit
down on them let us use them we all have
different gifts there’s something that
you can do that I can’t do and it’s
significant it doesn’t mean better or
worse it’s just different but God puts
us all together in the body the way he
has designed it not to glorify self but
to glorify him but we all need each
other we need your gift we need what you
carry and what if it comes to a point
where you feel like I don’t know if
people are responding to what I carry
can I get my illustration y’all know me
in the
illustrations what is
this y’all know what this is this bubble
wrap and so if you’re moving or you know
you know you have some Goods that you’re
sending and they’re fragile you put this
in there to help protect it and not
break it and it’s interesting in 1960
this was created and it was originally
created to be textured
wallpaper isn’t that interesting imagine
putting Bubble Wrap all over your
wall that’s why I was originally
created huge failure spoiler huge
failure nobody wanted
that then they said okay well let’s use
it as
insulation inside of
houses another big swing in a Miss
nobody wanted this bubble wrap
insulation and so they thought it was
done for maybe we should put it on the
Shelf maybe we should just chalk this up
to a failed
experiment but then a computer company
by the name of IBM came along and they
were shipping their new computers that
they had constructed and made and they
said we need something to protect this
and they found this bubble wrap and said
we think we can really use this to help
us ship our materials all around the
world and guess what happened just like
that overnight bubble wrap became a
success it became a success being
utilized in a way that they didn’t
foresee I submit to you that maybe
you’re so busy trying to get into
somebody’s walls that you can’t be used
in a way that God wants you to be used
but I’m here to tell you that if you
just allow yourself to be used by God
you say God I want to go here but God
just bring me anywhere anywhere wherever
they want to use me and need me just put
me there and you know how it starts
sometimes it starts with volunteering at
church sometimes it starts with just you
know getting that new job sometimes it
starts with just volunteering maybe in
your local school district sometimes it
starts by just starting this business
that you don’t have any formal training
in and you don’t know anybody else who’s
doing it but God has told you to do that
business what I learned from Bubble Wrap
don’t box God
in don’t box him in be available to be
used any way that God wants to use you
cuz he knows the gifts that he’s placed
inside of you there’s some things that
you can do that you don’t even know you
can do and you won’t discover you can do
until you get into an environment that
feels foreign but requires what you
have and then Discovery takes place and
you say I didn’t know I can do that and
they’ll say did you know you can do that
and you’ll say I just told you I didn’t
know I can do that I didn’t know that
was in
there but yet fear and insecurity will
try to lock us out of doing something
new I’m here to tell you that God has
something for you to do
now was not the time to try to retire on
your
calling we need you we need what you
carry our Young Generation hey if you’ve
been walking with God for many years
some decades our Young Generation needs
what you carry your wisdom your
anointing Your Grace your understanding
of the world your life experiences the
knowledge that you have the gift that’s
on your life our Young Generation
desperately needs that it is no secret
that the youth are in need of
Direction but the enemy thinks he can
craftily try to pull the church apart by
separating the older and younger
Generations it’s not either or it’s both
and and when you get both coming
together you’ll see the power of God
Amplified excuse me I get a little
excited about that I got to hurry and
finish up part three focus on Eternal
fruit focus on Eternal fruit John
15:16 it said this you did not choose
me but I chose you and appointed you
that you should go and bear good fruit I
like to put good in there not just any
kind of fruit you got to Bear good fruit
as we read and that your fruit should
remain say remain and that whatever you
ask the father in my name he may give it
to you that fruit remaining speaks of
Eternal
fruit it helps to separate from natural
works and God wants us to be fruitful on
our level but I’m here to encourage
you don’t Focus just on this natural
fruit being promoted is great generating
Revenue in your business that’s great
hey we know if we don’t turn a profit in
our businesses we won’t be in business
for very long so we got to be profitable
but yet God wants us to have fruit that
remains I was talking to one of my best
friends earlier last week and he stepped
out recently and started his own
business and I’m so proud of him so
excited for him and I’m thankful that
God has linked us up that I’m able to
encourage him once again you know the
encourager right that’s that’s part of
my gift I’m able to encourage him in his
time of need so he’s doing it and I
talked to him last week I said brother
what’s going on you made any sales yet
and he said ah Dave no no I haven’t made
any sales yet but an interesting thing
has happened
he said I’ve had conversations and some
meetings and I keep running into
people who need to hear about
Jesus the conversation keeps going to a
place where I’m telling them about Jesus
Christ and do you know that four people
this week got saved just through our
encounters see that’s fruit that remains
could it be that is not just about what
the platform is or the the maybe the
social media platform it’s not just
about being a content creator it’s not
just about generating wealth could it be
that God is really organizing a way to
get into the lives of people who don’t
know
him could it really be that it’s about
eternal fruit that is what God is really
after what if God is organizing for you
everything just to create a platform for
the the gospel to be preached an
opportunity to disciple
others and sometimes we have to get
caught up cuz we can have goals and
aspirations nothing wrong with that but
we have to be careful you know I wrote a
book and you know as I write books I
have to be careful I I want to be a
bestselling author praise God and I want
to receive that I want to think big
right I don’t want to limit God but I
didn’t write this devotional to become a
bestselling author I wrote the
devotional to disciple young people and
help them build unshakable faith and in
the process of doing that if I happen to
become a best-selling author praise God
I’ll receive it but I can’t lose sight
of the main
mission don’t focus on the leaves focus
on the Eternal
fruit that fruit May abound toward your
account and that when you get to heaven
God will say Well done good and faithful
servant because we can’t take these
natural things with us to Heaven you
can’t take cars and houses and bank
accounts to Heaven you cannot take your
social media account following to
Heaven who are you saving and discipling
through your witness and through your
platform and that house is what God has
mandated us to do he’s mandated us to
use our platform to glorify God imagine
the apostle Paul writing all of these
letters to churches he started writing
these letters to people that he’s
pastoring and saying oo I’m going to get
him with this one this is going to be in
the most well read most published and
purchased book ever in
history oh this letter this this one
really going to get
him he didn’t do any of that was that
his Focus it’s kind of funny to think
about right his Focus was the mission
discipling and growing the first church
his Focus was not on how known how uh
understood I would be how quoted I would
be I’m not up here to try to collect
quotes right I’m here to break the power
of the enemy over people’s lives through
the truth of the word of God I am here
to deliver and equip you with what you
need to be able to grow in their
spiritual
walk I’m not here for selfish ambition
and what I say say when I travel I don’t
care if you remember me remember my name
or just know that it was some
light-skinned guy up there who preached
it all I need you to remember is what
God spoke to you and go do it don’t walk
by sight walk by faith know that if God
before you no one is going to be against
you and no one can stand against you I
need you to declare that promise and
stop looking at the facts that’s what
I’m here to remind you of but when our
significance is not intact when our
value is not intact we try to
artificially inflate it we try to Pump
It
Up what God is saying is if you do the
work and allow me to work
supernaturally you’ll see that
prominence and influence Will Follow You
wealth will follow it blessings will
follow it influence will follow it as a
minister of the Gospel I don’t need to
puff myself up I shouldn’t puff myself
up I do not boast in myself my only
boast is in the Lord Jesus
Christ my only boast is in Jehovah God
creator of Heaven and
Earth so let me decrease and he increase
I step back that he steps forward it’s
not about me it’s about him don’t lose
sight of the eternal mission that God
has given you in this season you need to
do something with what you have I hear
God saying stop keeping me locked up by
keeping your gift locked up I hear God
saying take your gift out of
retirement there’s more to do when time
is short it’s time to get to work and
strategically dismantle the powers of
the
enemy and as you are spirit-led as you
step up you’ll find yourself making the
most of what you got stand to your feet
give God a praise
Hallelujah use us Lord use us as your
vessels send us out father that we may
Proclaim your name that we may bring
others into the kingdom help us to not
lose sight of the mission Lord forgive
us if we’ve been selfish self-righteous
or been filled with selfish ambition
Lord forgive us Lord if we’ve had a
apathy toward your things that you’ve
called us to do help us to get back in
realignment Lord that we may make the
most of what we have that we make the
most of every moment father God that
your kingdom come and your will be done
on Earth as it is in heaven through US
Lord that people will get to know you a
true and living God and turn from false
gods
we love you father we call it done in
Jesus name give God one more shout of
Praise if you receive the word of the
Lord
hallelujah before you leave don’t leave
take a moment just sit down right where
you are before you leave if you’re here
today and you’ve never accepted Jesus
Christ as your personal Lord and
Savior my job the most important job is
to get you into the family of God you
might have thought oh we’re all God’s
children no no no no we’ve been created
by God but if you are if you have not
received Jesus Christ as your personal
Lord and Savior then you’re not in the
family of God you’re not living a life
that can connect with God because sin
has separated you it’s not about the
good things you’ve done or bad things
that you’ve done that make you separate
from God it’s about receiving Jesus
Christ as your personal Lord and Savior
the good things don’t get you into
heaven the bad things don’t get you sent
to hell it’s about receiving Jesus as
your lord and savior the Bible said for
God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have
everlasting life my friend I’m here to
ask you do you know Jesus and if you
don’t know him today is your day before
you leave take a step of Faith stand up
and get out of your seat stand up here
with me at this Altar and let’s pray the
Prayer of Salvation together who am I
speaking to you need to make Jesus
Christ the lord and savior of your life
stop trying to do it your own
way Jesus died for imperfect people
don’t worry about what’s happened in
your life take
courage and he says come to him just as
you
are I know I’m speaking to somebody who
am I speaking to you need to make Jesus
your lord and savior don’t put it off
another day take bold is take
courage and say Yes to
God who else am I speaking
to take a step of
Faith you’re a courageous person you can
do it take that step of
Faith let us break the power of the
enemy over your life and you do that by
receiving Jesus Christ as your lord and
savior God is not here to condemn you he
wants to love you it’s the love of
Christ that draws Sinners to
repentance oh he knows about the things
you’ve done but that still doesn’t
separate you from him the only thing
that separates you from him is the sin
that you won’t ask for forgiveness
for maybe you’re in the second
group and you’re in a group that is a
the backslid in state you’re living a
life apart from God like you never knew
God but my friend that’s no way to live
as a matter of fact that’s not living
that’s simply existing but to live a
life and life more abundantly you got to
be connected to the Life Source so if
you need to get back reconnected to God
and the family of God I want to pray for
you here this morning get up out of your
seat stand up here with me at this Altar
and allow me to pray the Prayer of
Salvation and
rededication with you
today who am I speaking to come just as
you
are things have gotten hard but it says
the way of The Sinner gets
hard but God has a better
way anyone else I have to end but I
don’t want to leave you out people may
have given up on you but God will never
give up on you is there anybody else
maybe you’re online we’ll pray in just a

disciples followed we want you to follow
