well welcome to Andrew’s Classics Mike

and I are so excited that you’re joining

us for another episode where we’re

continuing to talk talk about living in

the balance of Grace and Faith and it

has been powerful it really has I mean

just really delving into this topic has

really began to open my eyes more and

more about just exactly what God has

provided for us for us to really reach

out with faith understanding that it’s

already done it’s already a done deal

I’ll tell you something when you can

understand come to an understanding that

God has already provided everything that

we’ll ever need for success I’ll tell

you it makes it so much easier to walk

in that success just it’s not a matter

of getting more from God it’s just

realizing what he’s already accomplished

and reaching out and taking hold of

those principles when you think about

the Christian Life I mean this truth

what we’ve been talking about what

Andrew’s been delving into what we’ve

been just asking him questions on if we

can get a hold of this yeah then the

actual New Creation New Covenant reality

we actually begin to walk in because

we’re getting out of that Old Testament

law religious mentality and we start

walking in the things of God yeah well

and in doing that as you begin walking

more and more and more after the things

of God your taste for the rest of this

world just kind of Falls away you start

seeing how good God is you start walking

in these principles realizing that he

wants us healed and whole he wants us in

perfect peace he wants us prosperous he

wants us walking in the fullness of his

Joy I’ll tell you there’s nothing in

this world that loves us like God can

love love us that really is committed to

our growth and transformation the way

that God is when you realize once again

that it’s not a matter of conjuring up

what do I need in this moment what do I

have trying to figure out what is the

best um pathway forward for me to walk

in the success that that God wants me to

walk in no God’s already laid out a plan

he already has the whole this whole life

figured out he understands exactly the

the best way to go and he laid all those

plans all those principles the blueprint

for success in his word and now it’s

just a matter of reaching hold and

taking reaching out and taking hold of

the

that plan for our lives I really believe

that as you’re watching this God’s

inviting you there’s just an invitation

amen that’s a great word to continue to

grow in these and you even said just a

second ago that that this is helping you

to realize continue because it’s not

just it’s not just a onetime um Concept

in fact Andrew said in in the last

lesson one of the things that he said uh

it was a couple episodes ago but I love

it because he said he doesn’t just teach

intellectually he only teaches something

that he has a revelation on and we’re so

privileged that all of us get to be

invited in to asking the Holy Spirit

Lord we want a revelation on these

things right it’s not just Andrew’s

Revelation praise God this is a

revelation from the word of God the

goodness of what Jesus provided and then

and I love something that he said that

he teaches from revelation we asked him

the question has he ever had to go back

and fix uh A TRU truth and he said no

I’ve never had to go back and recount

hey I was wrong about this I actually

meant that you know that is pretty

impressive because that means that uh

and I think as an example what Andrew

has done is he gets into the word of God

and then you discover it you learn it

you get into it you study the word of

God and that’s why we’re not spending

just a one one episode we just like

Grace is this faith is this this is what

is the difference that’s how you live in

it you continue to build on it and

remind yourself of it so that as that

Revelation gets inside you’re not having

to constantly switch it up and for I if

I can use Mike as an example you know he

had to change his Doctrine why because

he’d been learning religion right and

even though I didn’t learn religion

there were things that I took for

granted and so this is why I’m so

excited that we’re continuing to camp

out on this and not only learn it and

have Revelation on it but being being

able to articulate this is so important

and what I believe God would love to see

happen in your life that you’re able to

articulate this to friends and family

who are caught up in religion you know

articulation sometimes we look at that

and we think it’s it’s only how we

communicate but the reality is is that

uh 90% of communication is non-verbal

and so the aspect it’s not just

articulating it with our words it’s

articulating with our actions it’s

articulating it with our success that’s

good and as we begin to walk out these

different principles and as we really

take hold of them this is why I think

what Carrie was just saying about how

Andrew processes all these truths is so

powerful there’s a meditation that takes

place there’s a transformation that

takes place there’s a renewing of the

mind and then what happens after your

mind is renewed your body follows

actions I’m your body follows the most

dominant thoughts not the actions and so

when you realize that that the change

has happened on the inside long before

you ever see it on the outside and

you’re just walking out and your actions

become a fruit of the Revelation that’s

birthed on the inside of you and as you

begin to walk out the the realization

that God’s Grace has provided these

principles that that the faith that go

that lives on the inside of you and I

according to Galatians chapter 2:20 is

the same faith that lived on the inside

of Jesus me it’s his faith so now we’re

taking hold of his promises that he

declared in his word by his faith this

life is really no longer our own it

really and truly is subject to his

principles and you know that’s when we

start walking in success because we’re

walking just like Jesus walked amen so

we are going to watch this clip of

Andrew this is one of the older Clips

where we’re going to delve into some of

these principles and then be able to

again talk with Andrew and ask him

questions so let’s watch this

together it’s a huge difference if you

are if Faith to you is is just resting

in what God has already provided and

it’s yours because it’s done if that’s

the way that you look at Faith then

there is a calmness there is a peace

there is a security there’s a joy in

your life that people who are feeling

like they have to do these things to

make God move they don’t have they have

such a burden on them it’s an effort

it’s a

work you know again I wish I had better

words to be able to describe this but if

you are listening to what I’m saying

there are some of you that right now

you’re all you’re doing all of these

right things but you are just worn out

you’re worn to a frazzle you’re

wondering is there something I’m leaving

undone have I failed to do something

there is no peace there is no security

there’s no joy in your life you are very

insecure and yet you’re doing everything

you know to do that is an example of a

person who is believing that God

responds to you and to your faith things

but no your faith should be a response

to what God has already

done and let me read this passage out of

Deuteronomy chapter 2 and this is uh

these are some verses that I was just

studying last night and I this is my own

personal study and and I could use a

million things to illustrate this but

let me just use a passage here in

Deuteronomy chapter 2 this is Moses

speaking to uh the Israelites right

before his death he’s basically going

back and rehearsing their entire time

since they came out of Egypt 40 years in

the wilderness and now the uh generation

that wouldn’t believe God and go into

the promised land they’ve all died out

and he’s speaking to their children and

trying to uh remind them of the

faithfulness of God and encourage them

to go into the promised land to fight

their battles and to do all of these

things and in the process of going back

through their history he comes to the

time when uh on the east side of Jordan

before they entered into the promised

land that they de defeated Sion King of

the amorites and OG king of Bashan and

they took over their possessions and two

and a half tribes of Israel uh gained

their possessions on the east side of

the Jordan River so anyway this is the

background and here’s what the Lord told

um Moses now this is Moses saying these

things and rehearsing them but here it

is in in Deuteronomy 2: 24 the Lord told

Moses rise ye up take your journey and

pass over the river Arnon that was the

border of sion’s dominion so in other

words enter into enemy territory behold

I have given into thy hand sihon the

Amorite king of heshbon and his land

begin to possess it and and contend with

him in battle you know as I was reading

this it just this is a perfect

illustration of what I’m talking about

God said rise up and cross into the land

into the kingdom or the Dominion of

sihon and he says behold I have given

into thy hand sihon the Amorite king of

heshbon and his land begin to possess it

and contend with him in battle now if

God had already given it to him then why

does he have to go possess it why does

he have to enter in battle it see this

is uh it’s an oxymoron to a lot of

people this is a contradiction and some

people because they don’t understand

Grace and Faith they just think that the

Bible is so hard to understand and they

just disconnect and don’t even give it

an effort but this is powerful the Lord

says I have already given into your

hands Sion and his land it’s done he

says I I have already done it notice he

said

behold I have already done it you know

when the word behold means to look and

see this isn’t talking about looking

with your physical eyes because in the

physical natural realm Sion was still

King his armies were still in place his

people were still living in those cities

and the Israelites were out in the

wilderness if you only looked with your

eyes you couldn’t see this but in the

spiritual realm it was a done deal God

had all already done it he had already

determined it it was done it says in

Romans 4:1 17 that God calls those

things which be not as though they are

things that aren’t a reality in the

physical world they are already a

reality in the spiritual World God has

already done it he has it’s a done deal

once God decrees it it’s done it’s just

a matter of time until the Physical

Realm lines up with it and this is

saying that God had already given sihon

into moses’ hands it was done but then

he turns around and he says now go

contend with him in

battle see most people would say well

it’s not done until the battle is won

but no it was done the moment God rode

him and said he’s defeated you are the

winner you’re the Victor it was a done

deal by Grace God had already released

his power he had already assigned his

angels He had already blessed Moses Moes

and the children of Israel he had

already cursed Sion it was a done deal

but if Moses and the children of Israel

would have just said well it’s already

done so you know what I’m not going to

get up I’m not going to pass over into

their land I’m not going to begin to

possess it I am not going to enter into

battle because God says it’s already

done there’s nothing I have to

do did their actions caus God to respond

to them did they enter into this land

did they decid they were going to do

this and God this is what I want and now

you move because I’ve done this you’ve

got to do that see that’s

wrong well welcome again Andrew we’re

continuing to talk about living in the

balance of Grace and Faith and uh of

course we just saw that episode of

possess the land I tell you what a

powerful powerful principle that really

is how many people how many believers do

you feel are not walking in the fullness

of God because they just struggle with

reaching out and receiving what the Lord

has has already ordained for them I

would be guessing but I would say 90 to

95% of Believers are like that there’s

very few people that are walking in

everything God’s provided for us

sometimes they get a revelation about

one thing like maybe healing or even

Prosperity but then they’ll struggle

with another concept of God’s word and

so it’s got to be a consistent

relationship with God to be able to

touch all the areas of our hearts well I

was like that because the Lord touched

my life 1968 and I immediately started

growing in all kinds of areas but it was

1996 when I started getting a revelation

on finances and so from 68 until 96

that’s what nearly 30 years 28 years so

that was a year before I came to Bible

school I started Bible School in 97 wow

I’m glad I got there at 97 and not at 95

well but you know back when the lord

gave me that Revelation on finances I

bet you our income was less than a

million dollars a year yeah and now it’s

like 8 to n million a month is our base

that we’ve got to have imagine and the

reality is and I mean having seen that

growth as well over these past few years

it was it was slight growth slight

growth and then radical growth really

quickly so and I think that that

probably all came in line with the

Revelation that the Lord was giv you as

well walking that process out absolutely

so well the word of God is where his

faith is revealed faith comes by hearing

hearing by the word and until I got a

revelation on finances and you know this

is strange because if you would have

asked me uh you know what is God’s will

concerning finances does he want you to

prosper and things like that I knew what

the scripture said but really mine was a

fear of what people would think of me I

was thinking people are going to think

that uh you know I was raised with this

thing that preachers shouldn’t be real

prosperous

the Baptist Church that I grew up in

they actually had a parsonage that was

on the church property and it was a puny

little building and uh it was run down

and that was the image that you had that

a preacher was not supposed to have

anything wow yeah and that for a long

time that’s been not only preachers but

missionaries uh I know that was a Me

growing up reading missionary biography

iion work just got this this whole you

know like it was poverty but you know

what I grew up seeing that and reading

about that but then when I came to Bible

School um I left for the mission field

knowing that God was going to prosper me

amen and so I praise God well that was a

year after I got my Revelation well I’m

just saying thank you that I got reation

before I became a missionary I just

think you know how does that feel Andrew

you look you think about it what took

you 30 years to gain in Revelation you

were able to impart that to to the next

generation of of ministers coming

through the Bible school that’s that’s

amazing man it’s good thing they

shouldn’t they shouldn’t have to go

through the same thing that I went

through we should be standing on each

other’s shoulders you know you the next

Generations you come along and receive

what we’ve received and then be able to

go beyond that amen but man there’s a

lot of poverty minded people and stuff

and so uh that was a real real problem

for me it was worried about what people

thought about me so let me ask this when

you said you thought missionaries

shouldn’t be Pro I mean thought Minister

shouldn’t be prosperous so we were

talking in the last episode that we did

about kind of those years of poverty

that you went through did was it easy to

accept it because again that was your

mentality as ministers we’re supposed to

be struggling we’re supposed to be poor

it was not fun it was bad you know I was

with Oral Roberts just a couple of

months before he died and there was a

group of about 10 15 pastors ministers

and each one of us got to ask a question

and one of these other guys asked what

is the worst thing you’ve you ever been

through and I mean he they they

threatened to kill him he was run out of

Australia I mean um kicked out of the

country at the same time that Billy

Graham was there and Billy Graham was

drawing huge crowds and yet they kicked

him out for practicing medicine without

a license and he’s been named and he’s

had things happen and on and on and on

you could go talking about all the

hardships but when they said what’s the

worst thing you’ve ever been through I

mean he didn’t hesitate like that he

said finances he says financial pressure

is the worst thing he had ever dealt

with and I could truthfully say that

Financial pressure is the worst thing

that I’ve ever dealt with and it was it

was a struggle yeah uh I believe that

when the Lord brought the Israelites out

of the land of Egypt he had them go

spoil all of the Egyptians he got back

wages for all of those years that they

had been in slavery and there was no 7el

in the desert there was nothing for them

to spend that money on he just wanted

them to be prosperous and he prospered

them and that’s God’s will but you know

even my brother he’s he’s uh anyway I

don’t want to go into a lot of detail

but my brother uh has said little things

about man you’re a preacher you

shouldn’t be prospering like this uh I

remember one time I was getting U hay

for my horses and I usually would take a

pickup but I had this really really

fancy extended van and I had a tarp in

the back and I was going to put a bail

of hay in there for my horses and anyway

the guy brought the hay out and put it

in there and he looked at this and he

says wow I’ve never seen a van like this

he says what do you do for a living and

I told him I said I’m a preacher and he

just looked at me and he says preachers

aren’t supposed to have something nice

like this W and you know that is an

attitude that a lot of people have and

they’ll even say that you know you’re

taking money from a little Widow and

she’s sending in her $5 they don’t say

that about Walmart who little widows go

to Walmart and buy things but somehow or

another it’s just this attitude that a

minister is not supposed to prosper and

I really had that attitude and even

though I knew the scriptures on

prosperity and everything like that I

just had a fear of what people would

think of me if I prospered so I was

always apologetic about it so so what

was the a or the progressive revelation

that you received Andrew to get past

that stereotype to really Empower you to

begin walking in that provision that God

had already provided for you there’s a

lot of things that happened uh some of

my friends they would pray for me and

they’d talk to me and I I remember

arguing with people and say look I know

every one of those scriptures that

you’re talking about but there was a man

Pastor Dean Melton from Charlotte North

Carolina that I went to his church every

year for 32 years some years I went more

than once and Pastor Dean lived in a

house that was 700 Square ft didn’t have

indoor plumbing when he bought it for

$2600 and U and he put in indoor

plumbing and he’s I think expanded it a

little bit but he’s never driven a new

car and any of this but the guy gave

away 90% of his income didn’t take a

salary from the church he had bought

houses and he probably owned 20 or 30

houses or something like that and this

guy had an attitude about Prosperity

that just challenged me and I was around

him and anyway uh I saw the blessing of

God on him he had a guy that he he used

to be a policeman and he had a

relationship with the police and when

somebody got out of prison or something

like that they would release them to his

control and I remember this one guy

coming out of prison and uh he had never

managed money and so Pastor Dean he

would wear fatigues that had pockets on

the legs and he would keep different

people’s billfold and he would manage

their money for them and so this one guy

came out and I was there the day that he

got out of prison and he came to Pastor

Dean and Pastor Dean took all of his

money and during that week that I was

there this guy came and he says Pastor

Dean could I have some money so I and

Pastor Dean says ‘what do you want money

for and he says so I can go get

something to eat I hadn’t eaten all day

and he said’ did you get up this morning

and study and pray and he says well no I

stayed at church last night until 1:00

cleaning up you know you’re the one to

make do it and I didn’t get up in time

and he says if you don’t have time to

study and pray you don’t have time to

eat and he wouldn’t give him any money

and it was his

money and you can sit there and

criticize that but did you know that the

next year when I came back this guy was

making $10,000 a week while because

Pastor Dean taught him how to prosper

and I saw this time after time after

time that this man everything he touched

just turned to gold and he gave away 90%

of his income was a

multi-millionaire and uh and he was a

pastor and so anyway he came to uh to uh

Caris Bible College and I sat there and

I said I’m going to learn what this guy

knows and I sat there for two days

and I didn’t take a single note he

didn’t say one thing that I didn’t know

but the difference was he wasn’t

apologetic about it he wasn’t fearful

about it he he believed in prosperity

and the Lord showed me that I was

letting the unbelief and fear of what

other people would think about me hinder

me and so because of that that that

unbelief was stopping the prosperity of

God so when I got that Revelation I had

been going and holding these meetings

and it would cost about $10,000 to bring

in at guest speaker and put him up and

then the musicians and to rent the place

and the the travel and all this stuff

about $10,000 and I’d be within5 or $10

of being Break Even every time and i’

been doing this for years after I sat

and listen to Pastor Dean those two days

I went and held a Mee in Phoenix I

didn’t do anything different I didn’t

tell anybody anything differently and

instead of getting 10,000 we got

25,000 it was two and a half times as

much WoW and it just began to change and

it was my heart that changed not

anything that I did it was just my

belief system yeah and this is what

makes it key to possessing the land amen

all right well we’re going to go into

the new clip where we’re going to

continue to talk about this and then

we’ll come back and ask you some more

questions Moses was not allowed to go

into the promised land and so the whole

book of Deuteronomy is him just

rehearsing what the last 40 years have

been like and telling the people the

things that they needed to do to be able

to enter in and conquer the promised

land and occupy what God had given them

and the whole book of Deuteronomy is uh

Moses in just a day or two summarizing

these things and he’s just going back

through and so he’s giving kind of a

history and they conquered Sion the king

of the amorites and he’s going back and

talking about what God told him and so

this is the context of it and in

Deuteronomy chapter 2 verse 24 this is

what God told him God said rise ye up

take your journey and pass over the

river Arnon behold I have given into thy

hand sihon the Amorite king of heshbon

and his land begin to possess it and

contend with him in battle you know just

this year I wrote a little booklet on

this entitled seven steps to victory and

it’s the this exact scripture and

there’s seven things right here he said

rise up in other words they had been in

the holding pattern for 40 years now it

was time for them to rise up they had to

stir themsel up take their Journey you

can’t take somebody else’s Journey you

have to take what God uh commissioned

you to

do and pass over the river Arnon that

was the boundary of sion’s Kingdom so to

pass over the river Arnon was to enter

into enemy territory in other words you

can’t just sit in your prayer closet and

pray and see the battle won you’re going

to have to gauge the enemy you’re going

to have to take stand up and take a

stand and then he said behold I have

given into thy hand sihon the Amorite

and so here’s another thing you’ve got

to behold you got to see things with

your heart before you see it with your

eyes and then he says I have given not

I’m going to give I have given it was a

done deal God had already done it and

then he says uh begin to possess it and

contend with him in battle you know if

you were to stop and really think about

this if God says I have given you sihon

and he’s delivered into your hand well

then why would you begin to possess it

and why would you have to contend with

him because God said he’s already done

it but see this is a perfect

illustration of what I’ve been trying to

say that God through Jesus has already

provided everything 2,000 years ago

before you and I existed before our need

existed God already created the supply

but it’s in spiritual form and whether

it ever comes out of the spiritual world

and into the physical world is not

dependent upon God whether God supplies

God right here says I have given sihon

into your hand but if they would have

just said well God said he’s done it and

so we’re just going to sit here and

we’re going to wait for like Sion to

come and surrender or or him just to die

or to be wiped out or something else but

we aren’t going to do anything well they

would have never seen what God said he

had provided come to pass they had to

rise up and contend with him in battle

and there were probably some of the

Israelites that lost their life in this

battle there was things that they had to

do but their action didn’t make God

respond to them God said I’ve already

provided it it’s a done deal but you

have to go and possess the land

man that’s that’s a great

illustration did you know that the Lord

has already given us healing but we have

to fight for healing and some people

think well what’s the difference one way

or the other I’ve got to do all of these

things if you understand that I am not

fighting to win I’m fighting because

I’ve won and Satan is trying to steal

from me what is already mine it makes a

huge

difference you know I was in the army

and we I was in Vietnam and if if the

enemy had a hill did you know that you

could hold that position because of the

advantage that that gave you you could

hold that position with just a few men

there could only be three or four people

on the top of that hill with a machine

gun and they could hold their position

against a hundred of our guys but if our

guys were on the top of the hill they

could hold the position against a 100 of

the enemy if you are defending a

position it’s easier to defend a

position than it is to go attack a place

and gain that that foothold want you

understand that I am not fighting to get

healed but I’m fighting because I have

been healed by the stripes of Jesus on

the inside of me I have the same power

that raised Jesus Christ from the dead

it’s not out there it’s inside of me how

can I doubt that I’ll get what I’ve

already got

man if you’re tracking with me it just

makes a huge difference I’m fighting to

defend what I’ve got not to go get

something that I don’t have you know if

right here is where I am and I’m sick

right here but over there is healing and

if I could just get to the other side of

this table I could be healed it doesn’t

seem like it’s a very far distance but

you know that’s automatically means that

I’m not there yet I don’t have it yet

and something could happen

I I don’t know somebody could come and

tackle me something could happen and I

might never make it over there but if if

I’ve got healing here if it’s where I am

if I’ve already got healing how can I

not get what I’ve already got once you

get this understanding that like Moses

that Sion was already defeated God had

already dictated he’s he’s defeated but

they had to fight but it was guaranteed

that they were going to win it didn’t

mean that there wouldn’t be a battle it

didn’t mean that somebody wouldn’t get

hurt or maybe even somebody killed but

they were guaranteed to win if you are

guaranteed to win that’s what makes a

good fight over in first Timothy chapter

6 I believe it is it says fight the good

fight of Faith you know what makes it a

good fight is the fact that I’ve already

won actually Jesus has already won and I

share in his victory all I’ve got to do

is just show

up you know I had a dream last night I

just now thought of this and it’s kind

of symbolic of the same thing that I’m

talking about that I was on a football

team and there was this guy that was

just this massive massive person muscles

everywhere and yet here I am just your

scrawny person and uh but man I

challenged him told him he’s he’s a zero

and I was just letting him have it and I

backed this bully down because I knew

that greater that was he that was in me

than he that was in the world and if you

know that you’re going to win it doesn’t

matter if the person looks like a giant

like David fight fighting Goliath it

doesn’t matter if you know that you win

man you would be bold you would say

things you would do things if you had no

fear that you would lose that battle you

know you’re going to win well God has

promised us just like this I have given

into your hands Sion you need to behold

it you need to see it with your heart

before before you see it with your eyes

and if you understand that by the

stripes of Jesus we were healed 1 Peter

2:24 it’s not something that is in doubt

it’s already a settled outcome I’ve

already been healed and the only thing

that could ever keep me from obtaining

it is if I refuse to believe it refuse

to contend refuse to step out in faith

like it is a done deal I have something

to do with it but my actions don’t make

God heal me no my actions just

appropriate what God has already done

let me turn over

to Deuteronomy chapter 7 this is

probably the same day that Moses is

saying these things we just read in

Deuteronomy chapter uh chapter 2 and

look at this here’s Moses again speaking

to the Israelites and telling them what

they should do in verse 14 it says Thou

shalt be blessed above all people there

shall not be male or female Barren among

you or among your cattle man I’ve used

that verse a lot of times I use that

verse just I think two days ago to pray

with a couple about having children and

I’ve prayed with people and I have

hundreds and hundreds of people that

have had children after I’ve prayed with

them matter of fact I’ve got one little

boy matter of fact he’s not a little boy

he’s probably a teenager now in Uganda

that his parents were baring and I

prayed with them and um they conceived

and and uh they named him Andrew wck and

I don’t remember what his last name is

but they his first and middle name is

Andrew wck and every year when I went to

Uganda when he was a little baby I held

him and up until the time like he was

seven or eight he’s probably a teenager

now so I’ve got kids all around the

world that I’ve prayed for because it

says that there wouldn’t be a single one

Barren among you now that’s what God has

provided by Grace but does it

automatically come to pass no you have

to mix it with faith Hebrews 4:2 says

the word preached unto them did not

profit them not being mixed with faith

in them that Hur it you have to put

Faith in what God has said so he said

that there wouldn’t be a single one

Barren or any that cast their young

talking about a miscarriage but did you

know you have to appropriate

that and you getting into the word and

you speaking and you praying doesn’t

make this promise come to pass God is

already promised it but it may change

your heart to where you eliminate the

doubt get rid of your fear and you get

so convinced you convince your heart

that God’s word is true and all of a

sudden you receive now you also have to

cooperate and I’ve told people I told

these people that I prayed with just a

couple of days ago I said I believe that

God is healed whatever the problem is

but now you got a part to play you go do

your part it’s not going to be a virgin

birth and I usually get people really

willing to cooperate when it comes to

you know their part of having a child so

this is a promise here in verse 15 it

says and the Lord shall take away from

thee all sickness and will put none of

the evil diseases of Egypt which thou

knowest upon thee but will lay them upon

all them that hate

Thee Well Andrew we just finished

watching that next episode of possess

the land that part of living in the

balance of Grace and Faith and where you

once again you really brought out

Deuteronomy chapter 2 where God spoke to

Moses and uh based upon just some of the

things that we were sharing earlier just

after the first clip one of it seems

like one of the things that we have to

really believe God for is a change in

our own mindsets it’s not just a matter

of that God has provided for us but how

do we change our mindset so that we can

receive those things absolutely you know

I don’t know if I use this verse In that

clip but let me read this out of

Deuteronomy chapter 7 this is the Lord

telling them that they would go in they

would would possess the land they would

defeat all of the people and everything

but then he said in Deuteronomy 7:17 if

Thou shalt say in thine heart these

nations are more than I how can I

dispossess them did you know a lot of

people read that and think that this is

the Lord talking about if these people

say these nations are more than I how

can I dispossess them but what it is

it’s the people saying these nations are

more than I then the Lord said how can I

dispossess them if you don’t see it in

your heart if you don’t believe it that

unbelief stops the power of God Hebrews

chap 4: 2 says the word preached unto

them did not profit them not being mixed

with faith in them that heard it if you

have unbelief uh Hebrews chapter 3 says

they couldn’t enter in because of

unbelief unbelief stops the power of God

and un unbelief doesn’t have to be total

Rejection it doesn’t have to be like I

just refuse to believe in healing but

you say no I believe it’s God’s will for

me to heal be healed but and then you

say but I’ve still got pain and why this

that will stop the power of God if you

say in your heart how you know these

nations are mightier than I this

sickness is bigger than me this

financial need is bigger than me and God

is saying how can I dispossess him he

has to flow through us it really goes

back to even how the children of Israel

saw themselves when they about to enter

the promised land they saw themselves as

grasshoppers that’s right they are

giants and we are as grasshoppers in our

own sight that’s what numbers 13 says

yeah and you know this verse here in

Deuteronomy chapter 2 he there were

seven things I’ve got a little H booklet

that says seven steps to victory and uh

people can request that and it would be

good but the very first thing he says is

Rise ye up in other words for 40 years

they had been in a holding pattern

because of their own dis uh disbelief

and so they had become accustomed to

just living in the wilderness and he the

first thing is you got to stir yourself

up and realize that I’m not going to

stay in this place anymore how do you

stir yourself up what are the things

that you you used to praying in tongues

will stir you up it says in Jude chapter

1 verse2 but you beloved building up

yourselves on your Most Holy Faith

praying in the Holy Spirit you know I

went walking this morning I bet you I

spent at least least 30 minutes praying

in tongues and stuff and this is one of

the ways that you stir yourself up

getting in the word of God I’ve been

studying in Psalms the last couple of

days and I mean it just it stirs me up

it does something on the inside so it’s

true stirring yourself up praying just

being in the presence of the Lord

worship being around other people who

have Vision yeah you know I every time I

get around Jesse the planis I Come Away

stirred up just we know yeah I

know so you got to rise up that’s the

first step and then take your journey

everybody has their own individual

Journey you can’t take Mike or car’s

Journey or my journey God has a specific

plan for every single person and the

only chance that you have of reaching

your full potential is to find what God

want you to do not do what you want to

do and ask God to bless it that’s so

yeah so you have to stir yourself up you

have to take your

journey and then it says pass over the

river Arnon which was the boundary of

sion’s Kingdom so in other words put

yourself into enemy territory most

people are afraid to step out like for

instance with our wokeness today and the

criticism against Christians that you’re

a Christian Nationalist and they’re

going to do things most Christians just

want to kind of stay in church and only

yeah and only speak out their faith when

there there’s no opposition you have to

put yourself out there and expose

yourself to the enemy and expect

opposition as well and yeah it’s going

to come yeah and so that’s crossing the

river Arnon and entering into so good

enemy territory and then he says behold

he didn’t just say I have given into thy

hand Sion the Amorite he said

behold you have to see it and this is

you know I have a whole teaching on

imagination but you have to see see

yourself Victorious before the victory

comes you have to see yourself healed

before you are healed you have to see

yourself prosperous before you’re

prosperous and so he told him he had to

behold it and then he says I have given

not I am going to give but I have given

into your hand yeah and again this is

one of the things that Grace and Faith

really teaches is that by Grace God has

already done it everything that you’ll

ever need is already been provided it’s

not a matter of getting God to do it

it’s a matter of resting Amen in what

you already have and you know I think In

that clip I said something about when I

was in the military that if you had a a

defensive position on top of a hill it’s

easier to hold a position than it is to

go take a position yeah and so you need

to see yourself as I’m already healed

that’s right and I’m not the sick trying

to get well I’m the well that Satan is

trying to take my healing from me I

think that is such a key and important

Point Andrew because if we can see

ourselves as it’s already complete you

you’ve used this example several times

where if you’re holding a Bible in your

hand then you know and you’re asking God

for a Bible you know you already have it

you know you don’t even have to worry

about it because it’s already belongs to

you so if you can see healing provision

joy peace that already belong to you it

it’s just now a matter of standing and

holding on to this not letting the enemy

steal from you but just because you see

that it’s already yours the next thing

he says begin to possess it in other

words you could take this and say well

if God’s already done it and if he’s

already delivered Sion into his hand

well then what you don’t have to do

anything no he says you have to get up

and begin to possess it you have to go

Engage The Enemy uh they couldn’t just

sit there and say well God says he’s

already won this battle you know another

example of this is over in 2 Chronicles

chapter 20 where Jehosaphat had three

kingdoms come against him and he was

outnumbered and he said God we don’t

have any power to do anything and a

prophet stood up and said go out

tomorrow and you aren’t even going to

have to fight in this battle and they

could have taken that prophecy and said

well uh God said we won so we don’t even

have to go out we don’t have to do

anything no go out they got up they

armed themselves they went out but they

put the singers in the front not the

people with the swords they put the

singers in the front and they begin to

sing and praise the Lord and as they

crested the hill they saw all of the

enemy destroyed because God there was

three kingdoms two of them teamed up

against another one to annihilate them

thinking that you know the spoil instead

of being split into thirds they’d be

able to just split it in half we’ll take

them and them yeah and so they they

wound up wiping out one of those three

kingdoms and then the two kingdoms

turned on each other down to the last

two men so that every single person in

all three arm

was totally destroyed it took them days

to up all of the spoil but see God said

that you aren’t even going to have to

fight but they had to show up they had

to go out to battle and there’s a lot of

people that because well Grace says by

your grace you’re healed so I’m not even

going to confess the word I’m not going

to study I’m not going to resist the

devil I’m not going to rebuke I’m not

going to buy I’m not going to do

anything because it’s all up to God

you’ll die if that had and there’s such

a balance there cuz going back to what

we’ve been talking about this whole time

in balance of Grace and Faith is that

you’re still going out to begin to

possess it because you know it’s yours

and at the same time you’re

resting um because you know it is but

that’s what enables you to move forward

so that’s the whole aspect of laboring

and rest and and it’s already ours but

we possess it we go out and take it and

so this whole this whole series is about

the balance of these Concepts and they

never contradict each other no and

people that just think God by Grace I’m

not going to do anything you’re you

aren’t going to see the grace of God

manifest in your life you have to access

Grace by faith is what it says in we

always told the students that Grace

gives you teeth yeah amen it gives you

teeth it gives you the ability to

activate the things of God the strength

of God within you not just it’s not this

passive little like little fluffy little

cloud of Grace over your life I mean

it’s a teacher a tutor it it enables you

equips you gives you attitude it’s it’s

the weapon and know we we have to use

the weapon obviously but but it seems

like uh what you’re saying there is we

as Believers we just need to show up we

need do our part show up but God’s

already taking care of the battles he

already he’s already won the issue he

won the day so now it’s just a matter of

us being there and uh praise God I tell

you I I appreciate that of the Lord and

you can look at all of the things that

God has done at Caris Bible College

andam Ministries and amen and that’s

about all I’ve done is show

up and God has supernaturally blessed

things and I’ll sit here and say we’re

going to do this and I don’t have any

ability amen you know this very property

that we’re on um man we we we needed

something we prayed about it felt like

God led us to that 157 acres and we

committed to doing it but we didn’t have

any money yeah and within just a very

short period of time we got all that

paid off we’ve now got I think it’s $150

Million worth of assets all debt free

and uh we got all of that in N9 and a

half years and I didn’t have any

money and it just works I think about it

though and I know this may feel seem

like a weird analogy but I just saw it

when you were talking that yes all you

did was show up but you didn’t show up

flabby you didn’t show up like lazy you

have been in the word you’ve meditated

you’ve disciplined you’ve been

consistent you’ve exercised your faith

you’ve so there’s a there’s this Dynamic

of you show up to the battle and the

battle’s the Lord’s but you didn’t show

up you know huge fat overweight

undisciplined sloppy eater kind of you

still there’s still this activity of

relationship with God that then brings

about all the blessing yeah that’s a

good analogy and like I was saying I got

up at 5: this morning 5:30 this morning

and went walking and spend an hour

praying in tongues and doing things and

then I’ll I’ll be making these program

all day and then I’ll spend an hour or

two or three in the word Y and um I’ll

I’ll wind up praying a bunch more today

and so anyway I’m I’m spending all

waking hours seeking the Lord doing

things that he’s told me to do and I’ve

been doing that for 50 something years

amen and so many people want your

fruit without put effort in without

without that effort without that

discipline and that’s the whole goal of

these series is to show that there is

there is a journey in relationship with

God that brings about the activity of

the word that’s awesome so it was the

seventh one Andrew the last one it says

begin to possess it and then the last

thing is you have to

contend with him in battle Amen in other

words you have to fight but it’s not

it’s the good fights you know it says

over in I think it’s first Timothy

Chapter 5 fight the good fight of Faith

it’s a good fight because you know

you’re going to win yeah and and it’s

really resting in him but there’s still

a fight oh yeah if I was to just indulge

My Flesh and sit down and do nothing but

goof off and just uh be on vacation all

the time I would describe you as someone

who Goofs off well but if I was to do

that I guarantee you the ministry would

go into a tail spin yeah it would not

work no amen well wow being active in

faith you know as as this whole series

has talked about the provision is

already there from the Lord it that was

his part now it’s our part to be active

in faith to reach out and take hold of

what God has already provided for us and

if we if we’ll do that we’ll continue to

see the growth that the Lord has

ordained amen so well this has been good

well so we’re going to go into um we

have about four uh four more of these

episodes of really enjoying this thank

you so much and we’ll come back and do
