you see it is the will of God to bless

his people and this year I felt in my

heart to thing the fast as the year of

increase fasting releases the increase

everytime in the Bible people fasted it

not only brought deliverance from crisis

and tremendous issues and unsolvable

seemingly problems that people were

facing but almost every time people

fasted it released financial resources

and increase into the hands of God’s

people how many of you believe that God

is our source it is the will of God to

bless his people Deuteronomy 8:18 puts

it this way for it you shall remember

the Lord your God for it is he that

gives you the power to get wealth the

word blessed is found 127 times in the

Bible the word blessed is found 302

times in the Bible the word blessing is

found 67 times in the scripture the word

curse is found 101 times curse 72 times

and cursing 12 times in other words

blessing is found twice as much as the

word curse in the Bible we’re blessed by

God to be a blessing now there are three

reasons God wants to increase you number

one for your sake he said in Malachi

chapter 3 that when you bring the tithe

and the offering into the storehouse he

said I will open the windows of heaven

and I will pour you out a blessing that

you will not have room enough to receive

and catch this and I will rebuke the

Devourer catch these words for your sake

God wants to increase you number one for

your sake he really does love you he

really does want the best for you and he

said for your sake I will do this

and then the second reason God wants to

increase you is for his own sake in

isaiah 40:8 and 11 he said for my own

sake i will do it

god’s name is on you God’s glory is who

people know receives the glory when you

are blessed and when you are helped and

provided for and he cares about you so

for your sake for God’s sake and then

lastly for the Covenant sake

god wants to bless you Exodus 32 and

verse 13 Moses prayed remember the God

of Abraham Isaac and Jacob remember the

Covenant and the Bible said God changed

his mind when he reminded him of the

Covenant so there are three reasons why

God wants to increase you this year

number one for your sake number two for

his own sake and number three for his

covenants sake even the Old Testament

covenant had blessings that were

provided under the Covenant God made

through the blood of animals and people

following him the Old Testament covenant

included forgiveness of sin healing of

diseases and provision provision meaning

in that day cattle land wheat barley all

that they needed their God supplied the

Bible said in Deuteronomy eight that you

would be blessed in the city and that

they would be blessed in the field they

would be blessed going in and coming out

and make them the head and not the tail

above only and not beneath that was for

the seed of Abraham and Galatians three

said that we have become the seed of

Abraham through Christ our Savior you

have to understand that we’re under an

even better covenant through the blood

of Jesus Christ that if the blood of

goats and animals could provide those

kinds of blessings how much more does

Christ want to meet our needs as we give

glory and honor to his name I want you

to hear me today that your

birth was not a mistake that you are not

just a nobody to your God you are his

child and he knows what you have need of

before you even ask let me let me

mention to you that there are three

levels of spiritual blessing that we see

in the scripture and I think that is

significant that there’s the Egypt level

the covenant relationship God had with

his people when they were in Egypt and I

think it speaks of how most of us start

out with the Lord

we’re in Egypt were slaves to sin slaves

to the flesh slaves to addiction and

immorality when Christ comes and thank

God that even though they were in

slavery and in Egypt he had a covenant

relationship with them he never gives up

on us he never lets us go and Egypt was

the land of not enough and then there

came a time when he moved them out and

they moved from slaves and in Egypt the

land of not enough to the wilderness

where God began to provide daily for

them just enough they moved from the

from the land of slavery and Egypt to

the wilderness from not enough to just

enough the Bible said they couldn’t

store up they couldn’t they had to get

up every day and pray for their daily

bread and the manna would come down from

heaven and they would have just enough

they if they stored it up worms would

get in at more than 24 hours

God had them in a place where they had

to trust him where they had to believe

him for every bite of food every day of

their life he was teaching them trust me

I’m your provider

I am your source God was saying I’m

moving you from a slave mentality to a

son mentality when he got him out in the

wilderness he said I want you to enter

into a blood covenant sacrifice animals

that was the first thing Moses did and

they entered into a son and daughter

relationship with God a blood covenant

relationship and it began to move from

you know Egypt was bad it was not enough

they had never enough but now they’ve

moved into the promise

to the wilderness and it’s just enough

and they’re barely getting by and you

know as you want with God he’ll take you

from level to level and then he’ll get

you in that place where you learn the

lean on him you learn to trust him and

you may not be storing up a lot but

you’re getting by and you’re finding out

God’s faithful God’s faithful if I’ll be

faithful God will be faithful and even

if I’m not faithful he’s still faithful

and and then you see you see them moving

it’s it’s moving now from slave to son

but then there’s a third level and it’s

the promised land you move from Egypt to

the wilderness and from the wilderness

to the promised land you move from from

a slave to a son but now he said if

you’re going to get in the Promised Land

if you’re going to move from not enough

to just enough to the promised land is

more than enough then you’re going to

have to go from being a slave in

mentality to a son mentality and now

want you to move from a son mentality

catch this to a solider mentality

because when you go in the promised land

there will be enemies but I want you to

I want you to kick them out and I want

you to take the promised land I want you

to learn how to fight he said it’s time

for you to go from a slave to a son to a

soldier it’s time for you to grow up now

and realize that you’re in a fight and

you put on the whole armor of God and

you begin to fast and pray and you begin

to war and you begin to understand I was

created for more than just getting by

I’m believing you God for increase of

joy of anointing of influence of

testimony a blessing of healing of

miracles and if you’re going to get to

that level you got to come out of being

a slave always a slave and even just

being a son or a daughter of the Most

High and getting by and just kind of

showing up and then you move into I’m a

soldier I am in I’m gonna make a

difference you see when you understand

that you begin to understand the soldier

mentality

how you get to the land of more than

enough Paul said Timothy my son wage a

good warfare notice if your son and you

want to go to a higher level you’ve got

to become a soldier wage a good warfare

never increase comes without soldiers

learning to fight you become militant in

your prayers you become militant in your

praise you become begin to wage war

that’s what we’re doing for 21 days

whether you know it or not you have just

entered into spiritual warfare don’t let

that scare you but I got news for you

the devil knows who you are now

you’ve been fasting and praying you’ve

moved into his territory he showed up

when Jesus started fasting and praying

he always gets disturbed because there

are demons who respond to fasting and

prayer only the Bible said Martin on

this kind comes out but by fasting in

prayer and what I’m saying to you is

welcome to the military because you are

soldiers now you every time you’ve been

pushing away every time you’ve been

praying every time you’ve been turning

off social media and spending that time

in the Word of God you are suiting up

and God is saying oh oh I’m not having

me more than a slave and I’m still in

covenant relationship but that’s not my

best Foreman I might have more than a

son who’s just getting by in the

wilderness and learning to trust me I

might have a soldier who’s actually

gonna invade the gates of hell and knock

them down and take back what the enemy

is stolen everybody take a praise break

and believe him for increase shout

increase shouting three times increase

increase increase militant prayer

militant fasting militant praise there’s

a difference in our praise this morning

do you feel it when you learned that

praise is not something people do on the

stage we act like they’re a bunch of

entertainers

no when you really are a soldier you

understand that my praise is binding the

enemy my praise it’s like what

Jehoshaphat did he fasted three days and

sent the singers out and they sung and

he turned the enemy on themselves

hallelujah Lord let this house be filled

with joyful crazy wild happy exciting

praise everybody let’s just praise the

Lord because he’s going to bless his

people praise him for what you’re

fasting for praise him for what you’re

praying for right now not when it’s done

praise Him now like you believe the

answer is on the way I hear the Lord

saying the angels are coming praise God

the armies of heaven are coming rejoice

child of God the victory is yours turn

to somebody and say the victory is yours

now shout about it no you can’t sit down

shout about it in the overflow shout

somebody shout on the sides

somebody say I’m a soldier

so hallelu

the three levels of blessing from Egypt

slave mentality to the wilderness Sun

mentality to the promised land

soldier mentality from not enough to

just enough to more than enough now I

want to quickly give you eight great

increase verses and you ought to get

these in your spirit and pray over them

all week but here they go and I’m going

to ask you to confess them out loud

those of you watching on Kingdom

connection right there in your home

confess them out loud those of you

streaming live with us right now those

of you in our campuses that are with us

confess these scriptures out loud

because the power of God is in his word

the authority of God is in his word

Deuteronomy 32 and verse 13 everybody

pray say it with me he made him to ride

on the high places that he might eat the

increase of the fields I love job eight

and verse seven though thy beginning be

small the Lateran shall greatly increase

everybody say greatly increase Psalms

1:15 in verse four the Lord shall

increase you more and more everybody the

Lord shall give you increase more and

more you and your children

Isaiah twenty nine and nineteen the meek

will increase their joy in the Lord how

many of you could stand that this year

sums seventy one in verse 21 he shall

increase my greatness and comfort me on

every side everybody come on bold now

you shall increase my greatness and

comfort me on every side take a praise

break right there

oh yes is there anything you do great

besides eat God can increase it Psalms

85 and verse 12 our land will yield its

increase jeremiah 23 and verse 3 I will

gather the remnant and they shall be

everybody say it fruitful and increase

proverbs 3 and 4 honor the Lord with thy

substance and the firstfruits of your

possessions and your increase and your

barns will be filled with plenty and

your vats will overflow with new wine

how many of you like those words like

plenty and overflowed thank him for the

increase right now by faith now I’m

coming quick to where I want to be and

and and I want you to just stay with me

just a moment so here’s what the Lord

showed me so when you move from Egypt to

the wilderness to the promised land

from a slave to a son to a soldier from

not enough just enough more than enough

there’s one more level that says this is

all connected to Jesus talked about

three relationships that he would have

with people number one in in the book of

John chapter 10 he said there Harlan’s

the hireling is someone who is there in

relationship to get what they can get

out of it and many people to be honest

when they start out their lives are so

destroyed that they come to the Lord

with a spirit of a hireling I’m not

really committed I’m not really but I’m

in trouble and I need your help and I’m

at my wit’s end I can’t get free I can’t

get delivered you’re a hireling and he

said the way you know somebody’s a

hireling is when the wolf comes they

leave when the enemy attacks they’re not

really there for the long haul a lot of

people are in the church sitting in

church on Sunday morning

in our church and you’re here for only

what you can get out of it you don’t

serve you don’t help you don’t ever get

connected you don’t ever grow you don’t

ever get in a small group you don’t ever

use your gifts you don’t ever use your

talents you just come when you feel like

it you’re not really a part of the you

know the what God is doing

you are a hireling and you’re here or

not sweet this morning and you’re here

to get what you can get out of it and

that’s okay God loves you and we do too

but that is not God’s best then he said

in in the book of Matthew that you will

be called my servants and the greatest

of you will be a servant and he said is

that is the master greater than then the

servant are as a servant greater than

the master what he was saying is the

greatest would be service so you move

catch this now you move from being a

hireling what can I get out of it but as

you start growing you move into I’m

moving from a hireling just bless me

bless me bless me bless me bless me to a

servant I’m blessed to be a blessing

Jesus has been too good to me I’ve got

to tell other people I’ve got to get

connected I’ve got to get rooted I’ve

got to get planted and I got to start

serving the kingdom of God surely

there’s something I can do for the Lord

surely if nothing else my church can

depend on me and and you move from a

hireling to a servant but there’s one

step even greater than a servant and

this is found in in John 15 in verse 15

listen to this you will no longer be

called servant you will be called friend

for the things that I have heard my

father I will make them known to you now

when you get in friendship relationship

with God he starts talking to you he

starts speaking to you he starts leading

you

he starts guiding you he starts you

begin to get his direction he begins to

he makes known to you his plans and his

will and his desire and now you’ve moved

from just being a hireling and

and a servant to a friend of God Abraham

was called a friend of God there’s so

much more to this thing called

Christianity than just doing a little

religion on Sunday he wants to be your

friend

and he wants to make known to you the

plans of God for you and your family and

his kingdom in this church and you get

behind it and you give yourself to it

and suddenly your life your family

everybody takes on purpose and meaning

greater than you could ever dream and

then what is astonishing is once he

knows you’re his friend watch this now

we’re back to the fast Matthew 6 and I’m

closing but what did he say

he said when you fast when you pray when

you give I’ll give you our open reward

and he said in that chapter some will

receive 30 fold that’s the high early

some will receive 60 fold

that’s the servant but some will receive

a hundredfold that’s my friends why

because I can trust them because they’ve

walked through the wilderness and then

faithful with a little I’ve watched them

progress I’ve watched them move from a

slave mentality to a son mentality to a

solider mentality I’ve watched them be

faithful with almost nothing and then

just getting by and now they’re my

friend they’re not just a hireling and

they’re not just a servant they are an

intimate relationship with me they love

me for me and so now that I’ve got a

pure heart I’ll just keep pouring on

more and more and more and more

more increase not just money

anointing opportunities power spirit the

anointing of the presence of God the

direction I’ll make known to them my

plans cuz they’re my friend they’re not

in it for that they’re in it for me but

because they are connected to the vine

they just keep producing much fruit the

key to this thing is connecting to Jesus

he won’t listen to what I’m saying he

wants this year to be more to you than a

Sunday morning experience he wants to be

your best friend

and isn’t that what it’s all about is

out of that relationship comes

everything seek first the kingdom

friendship with Jesus intimacy and all

of these things

they’ll just be added and had it and had

it and added and added and boy I just

really felt this week I’ve been praying

I don’t just say this life I’ve been

praying for you I love you people so

much and I’m praying for your businesses

and I’m praying for your jobs and I’m

praying for your dreams and I’m praying

for your calling and I’m praying for

your hearts to be so attached to him

that you grow spiritually this year in

phenomenal ways and it’s not just about

the increase of stuff it’s about the

increase of Jesus in our lives it shows

up through our worship and it shows up

through our prayer and it shows up

through our joy and increase of joy it

shows up in every aspect of our

relationships and it shows up by our

faithfulness to God’s house alright now

this is gonna be different this is where

we’re different as a church this is

old-school but I like a response when I

preach and if you can believe God for

increase in your business in your life

in the area that you need it the most

maybe it’s joy maybe it’s healing

maybe it’s love in your marriage I want

you to get out of your seat as close as

you can as many of you that will and

here’s what I want you to do I want you

to raise your hands on behalf of your

work of your business notice what he

said in Deuteronomy he said you shall

remember that it’s the Lord your God

that gives you the power to get wealth

notice he didn’t say I’m gonna give I

give you well he said I’ll give you the

power to get it in other words you got

to get up and go to work

so I want you to raise your hands on

behalf of the needs all over this room

faith college kids believe him for your

tuition money come on God can increase

and bless you look at these look at

these aisles it’s pretty amazing raise

those hands how those of you streaming

those of you are the campuses just raise

your hands toward heaven right now those

for even greater things an increase of

that the loss will be found that those

who are bound and addicted that they

will know Jesus those that represented

in families they will see turn around
