When we lean entirely on God’s grace, Christ performs mightily in our lives! But when we try to deserve God’s favor through our own performance, we fall from His grace. Joseph Prince reveals this life-changing truth in the lives of Jacob and Esau, and in the story of the prodigal son and his older brother. Be encouraged as you find out how God’s love, acceptance and favor are already and unconditionally yours—simply because you are His beloved child. This key truth will take you from defeat to victory in your relationships, career, health and every area of life!
Long before the Israelites worshiped the golden cows at the foot of Mount Sinai
,
they had fallen from the grace of God.
Many people miss this.
When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt,
no one died and there were no ten commandments.
When people complained, God divided the Red Sea,
kept quiet for a while on the opposite bank and
complained, and God sweetened the bitter water.
Quiet for a while, complaining again,
God dropped mana from heaven.
Complaining that there was no water,
God drained the water from the rock.
They sinned on every step of their way
. Complaints are sins.
They continued to complain, complain, and
God divided the sea, blessed it, and gave it water.
During the road from Egypt to Sinai,
God did not deal with their obedience and loyalty, but
God gave them grace.
It was based on God’s generosity and truth.
This is Grace.
If I had passed through Mount Amen Sinai safely, the
grace would have continued.
If the
people did not say, “We will do all that the Lord has said,” when God spoke
, we
would have continued to grace if we had not said so
.
And by God’s Grace,
he would have entered the promised land.
They were not perfect, but because of God’s perfection, not their perfection.
Because it is not their faithfulness, but the
truth of God.
But what happened? Exodus chapter 19.
At Mount Sinai, they said. “God.”
“We
can do whatever you say.”
“Tell me.”
Read before you sign a check or contract.
First, read the clause.
What do you think they did when they didn’t hear the Ten Commandments?
“I will do everything the Lord has said.”
Many years ago, I thought, “What obedient
people!”
But now I see pride there.
I thought that people could do it with their own abilities.
I thought I could do it myself.
At that time, one fell from Grace.
God says, “If you want to
evaluate, judge, and bless based on you.”
“If you want based on your obedience and loyalty,
” there are ten commandments here. ” And
at the foot of Mount Sinai, 3,000 people died.
Immediately after that, did the people become obedient?
After they put themselves under the law.
No, I fell from Grace, and
next was the golden cow idolatry.
Consider from Egypt.
Why didn’t they have
a desire to make golden cows when they came out of Egypt?
Why didn’t he have a desire to make a golden cow even after crossing the Red Sea
?
Even in the bitter waters of Mara, there was no desire.
Because I didn’t have money? No,
I had some money I brought from Egypt.
The night they came out of Egypt, the
Egyptians gave them money.
Unpaid amount of slave labor.
They had money.
But I didn’t use it to make golden cows.
I wasn’t interested in making golden cows at all.
I didn’t have a hobby for worshiping golden cows.
That was so. So why
did you have a desire for a golden cow after you fell from Grace?
I tell you all. As
soon as you fall from Grace, you are attracted to sin.
But when you come under Grace,
you are drawn to holiness.
Are you listening?
I’m surprised. The Bible says that the power of sin is the law.
The power of sin is the law.
If the law is not given, there
is no power of sin.
A wise father does not always
guide the child by saying “no”, but
gives him a
choice and guides him to make good choices.
Sometimes you have to say “no”
. There are times when it is difficult.
Sometimes
you have to urgently say “no”.
In general, the best way to have a relationship between parents and young children
is to make good choices.
Say to a young child, “This is very good.”
“This is fun.”
“Daddy ate this and became stronger.”
“But this is a way.”
Guide the child.
“Which do you want?”
No, no, instead of no.
But for people, everyone,
the power of sin is the law.
Have you ever thought about it?
About the First Humans Adam and Eve
Why did Satan not seduce other than what God had commanded
?
God said that we should not eat from the tree of knowledge that knows good and evil
.
And it was about that that the devil seduced
.
Why
didn’t the devil seduce in any other way?
He wanted to prevent humans from controlling the earth, so the
devil, for example, could have stopped humans from giving birth
.
how? Eve tempts her to kill her husband
.
Why didn’t the devil tempt Eve to kill her husband
?
Does a woman kill her husband?
Not in this church. We know
that is possible from history and crime stories
.
I agree. So why didn’t Satan tempt Eve to kill
him?
If Eve killed Adam, he would have no descendants.
Satan
does not seem to be able to seduce people beyond the law.
I like to think like this, but
do you like it too?
It
doesn’t seem to matter to you to sit down and
think … it’s okay. Honor God.
Excite Returning to the main subject, it
is the last verse of Hebrews chapter 12.
See verse seventeen. And the next section.
He asked his father to change his mind
.
And, “You didn’t come to a mountain that you touch, a
mountain that burns.” It’s
interesting. The author suddenly
talked about Mount Sinai.
It seems that the Holy Spirit changed gears
and talked about Mount Sinai.
why? It’s
because we’re talking about falling from Grace.
Falling out of grace is what causes people
to have problems with bitterness in their hearts. Do you know
what is best for someone who has a bitter taste in their hearts
?
I love you.
To
love that person and to believe that God loves that person.
Then the bitterness of the person
melts like butter on a warm day.
Armen
People are bitter because they have fallen from Grace
.
What I want to say is to have a strong consciousness of God’s Grace and love
every day.
A good way to do
that is to read and listen to Grace’s message.
A good book to recommend is Destined To Reign.
The teaching and the author are familiar with it.
I have lived together for over 40 years.
So I recommend it. Can you understand how
easy it is to deviate from grace
?
Now, I have one question.
How many people have set New Year’s goals?
Did anyone make it? Did you do that?
How many people are Christians on the road, overtaking other
drivers without patience,
or not paving the way
, so I’m
dissatisfied with myself that this isn’t good, and when I’m about to
drive
I decide to be patient.
Has anyone ever done something like this?
And what happens?
Or, in your marriage, think,
“I will talk to my husband gently from now on
.”
If you talk about frustrating things,
say kindly to
you and decide to talk kindly.
Have you ever done something like this?
And what usually happens on the same day?
I will have the biggest fight.
The husband even overtakes a police car.
Well,
what happened was
that he had fallen out of grace long before he lost his cool.
He had fallen from Grace long before he sinned
.
The problem is that no one is looking there.
No one notices that you cannot say “do your best” or “do your
best” and do not admit
that the Lord has done in your righteousness
.
“Do your best” still
has hope in his flesh.
God says you have nothing.
Expecting good things for yourself is
the cause of disappointment.
Why do you think about this when Rev. Prince is preaching?
Why do you think this when you are praising God?
The shock of that in itself turns out
that you still expect good for your flesh
.
The Bible
says that there is nothing good in your flesh.
Without God’s Grace, we would all
be crazy.
God’s Grace
keeps people walking with Jesus on a straight, narrow path.
Long before Peter swore to “swear,”
and long before he swore that he did not know Jesus
, according to the Bible, he cursed,
cursed, and Peter swore a curse,
saying that he did not know Jesus.
I denied it three times and the chicken screamed.
People walk with Jesus for three and a half years
, listen to his teachings, experience his love and grace
, see miracles, participate in it,
and swear that he does not know Jesus three times!
why?
Is that a problem, no, it’s true.
What do you think he said to the Lord the same night?
“Even if all the disciples are away from you,”
“I will never leave.”
“I have nothing,” he did not say. Remember
, “I, Peter never leave you”
?
At that time, he was confident in himself.
People say I’m confident, but
I’m not so bold.
I wish I knew me when I was a junior high school student, not a kindergarten child
.
I couldn’t speak in front of a small class
.
The ears turned red, the face turned red, and
all the girls started laughing.
Even now … well … some people
are bold about what I have now.
This boldness is not self-confidence, but trust in Christ.
you see?
But Peter was confident.
Even if the other disciples are separated,
I
will
never leave Peter. I will never leave you.
Jesus will look at him and
say three times that he doesn’t know me before dawn before the chicken crows today.
Why did Jesus know?
Pride (joke)
Sometimes Jessica and I watch TV together.
So I tried to teach her,
“Jessica, as a teenager
, you should avoid this in the future.”
She looked at me, “Daddy,
I’ll never do that.
” “Jessica, never’never.
‘ Don’t say that. “It’s a
familiar word.
Baby Baby Baby …
Is it like Justin Bieber?
What were you talking about?
My daughter Jessica. So I said.
By no means, by no means … but
by God’s Grace.
Because we can’t do it ourselves.
If you say, “I never do that,”
you trust yourself.
“Jessica, say by God’s Grace.”
“Never by God’s Grace.”
He teaches her.
Everything according to God’s Grace.
Don’t be proud of your ability.
