The Armor of God, a Bible study by Priscilla Shirer, is more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory; it is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
hey there I am so glad to have an
opportunity to just talk to you for just
a few moments mostly just to say thank
you thank you for carrying the burden in
your heart to see women come to know the
Lord better come to know his word better
the fact that you were leading your
group means you have a heart for others
and I just am so grateful that you would
allow me to partner with you and would
allow me to help you to lead others into
the truths of Scripture so thank you so
much for that I know that there is a
sacrifice required there is time on your
part effort on your part I want you to
know that the Lord sees every investment
that you are making and he you know has
promised us that we do not sow in vain
that when we sow we will also reap and
I’m praying that for you I’m praying
that you will see God open up the
windows of heaven and pour out a
blessing in your life as a result of you
pouring into the lives of others he
seems to do it every single time so
thanks again be encouraged you know
every single time your group gathers
just make them feel as welcome as
possible as at home as possible there
are going to be some that come into your
group and really the fact that they have
arrived that is the victory I mean you
know forget about homework being done
and having finished all the pages just
make them feel comfortable with the fact
that they came because for some people
that’s just man all they could do and
then do everything you can to create an
atmosphere where folks can be authentic
and open and honest with each other and
then for you you know don’t feel any
pressure don’t feel any pressure to be
something you’re not or to speak in some
eloquent way or do something that’s
perfect now they’re not interested in
that they just want a place they can
call home a place where they know
they’re loved and cared for and that
they’re going to hear the word of God
so yes encourage them to be faithful in
their Bible study encourage them to dig
deeply into the Word of God but in the
end trust the Holy Spirit he’s the only
one that can really draw people to
himself so if you haven’t started to
pray yet for your Bible study
would you please start now and I’ll do
it with you we always pray at our
ministry for you as a leader and we pray
for those who are going to be gathering
around this Bible study and I want you
to join me in that
just pray that the Holy Spirit will make
it feel like home and that all will feel
welcome no matter their culture no
matter their background no matter their
denomination no matter where they’ve
come from or what they’ve done that in
your in your environment that the Holy
Spirit allows you to create they’ll feel
welcomed and loved I’m praying for you
and believing for you it’s going to be a
great six weeks
you
