John chapter 2 you know it’s the story
of Jesus turning the water into wine and
then the governor of the feast says that
he did not realize where it had come
from though the servants who had drawn
from the water knew then he called the
bridegroom aside verse 10 and he said
everyone who brings out the choice wine
first and then the cheaper wine after
the guests have had too much to drink
but you have saved the best till now for
years I’ve heard preachers preach and
have even done it myself he we misquote
it and we say he saved the best for last
that is not what he said he said he
saved the best for now because when you
say he saved the best for last
it’s it’s almost like this if we’re not
careful we live our life that way that
it’s always out there somewhere that the
blessing the revival the move of God the
miracle that you need that the answer to
prayer is always out there and his best
is coming one day someday way out there
he saved the best for last I’ve heard
all in my life there’s a last day
revival coming and I’m gonna live and
die and if I keep looking for something
out there I don’t know if I’m going to
see it but I tell you he doesn’t just
save the best for last he can do that if
he wants to he’s God but he saved the
best for now the power of now we need to
be careful that we’re not living ten
years out there one day someday we can
have victory now we can have we are
having revival now we’re seeing lives
changed now but sometimes you know it’s
almost like we just get to thinking that
it’s out there it’s out there somewhere
but the enemy wants to distract us from
the fact of the power of believing and
standing and trusting right now is where
victory comes from you have kept the
good wine
until now the great days are not behind
us the great days are not behind the
church the great days are not behind you
the great days are not someday way out
there somewhere the great days he saved

people right now the best churches right
now the best move of the Spirit right
now God is that kind of God he’s not the
God of the past and he’s not a god who’s
sitting around waiting to show he’s
great some day your Bible said he’s the
same yesterday today and forever which
means if we would comprehend the power
of now we wouldn’t have to wait but he’s
now presently God and revival in his
spirit is here you have kept the good
wine until now the devil wants you
always looking down the road some day

all I have promised there’s no guarantee

past talking about how great God used to
move and how great the church used to be
and what the Holy Spirit used to be
doing and the great danger in temptation
for every gray head and I’m one of you
so I can talk about you and ballhead
every great head and ball head has to
watch out for one you want then you
stand and then you start sitting in the
seat of the scornful and though those
young people don’t pray like we used to
do and you say that while you’re sitting
all those young people don’t prays like
we said all those this
generation they just don’t serve God
like were you in your sitting that’s not
what the Bible teaches the Bible teaches
that we serve a God who who is in the
now we serve a God who right now says
I’ve saved the best for now if we’re not
careful we’ll do what happened at
Calvary listen to me carefully Jesus
Christ was the greatest gift the world
has been has ever been given and he was
crucified between two thieves the
greatest gift that you’ve been given
besides Jesus is now today you’re not
promised tomorrow you’re not promised
another month the greatest gift you have
is right now but if you’re not careful
you’re crucified today between two
thieves that want to steal the joy of
today those two thieves are yesterday on
one side and tomorrow on the other side
they want to crucify your today they
want you to live in yesterday because it
the way the enemy gets you to crucify
today is the thief of yesterday you
can’t go back and live yesterday
yesterday is over yesterday ended at
12:00 midnight it was over you’ll never
get it back you’re never going back to
it and if you allow that fief he’ll
steal the joy of today by getting you to
live in the shame or the pain or even
the success are the good old days and
you spell that da ze you know you just
living back there instead of living
right here right now instead of enjoyed
this is the day the Lord has made I will
rejoice and be glad in and I’m not gonna
let the thief of yesterday steal my joy
today and if he can’t steal it through
the thief of yesterday he steals it
through the thief of some day some day
I’m gonna be happy
some day some day you know you tell you
tell you sir someday we’re gonna have
children that’s gonna make us happy
someday someday someday and then you get
those children and then you start saying
someday they’re gonna leave ya
someday someday someday they’re gonna
leave and we’re gonna be happy again

have heart attacks and stuff they did

after they go through cancer and stuff

alive again and they’re cancer-free they
have this thing about them because they
they understand today I’m good today
I’m healthy today I’m well what am I
freaking out over what am i filled with
fear and anxiety and we’re you know you
know what you know how the enemy gets us
jesus said take no thought for tomorrow
well he’s Jesus he doesn’t know what
he’s talking take no thought of tomorrow
then he said in Deuteronomy 33 as your
days are so shall your strength be he
said I’m just gonna give you grace
enough to handle whatever kind of day
comes your way so if you let your mind
go over into tomorrow and worry about
this and all my children and all this in
this and this and that listen that God
says I have no grace over there I’m not
over there I’m not doing that I’m not
giving you any grace to deal with that
but if you stay in today if you’ll stay
right where you are you’ll realize I
provided I’ve met every need your good
your children are okay it’s gonna be all
right and you don’t let your mind go
over there and be tormented because as
your days are so when you get over there
if something is happening this then it
is worse than is today as your days are
so shall your strength be but you don’t
have strength today to deal with what
you’ve got to deal with tomorrow you’ve
just got enough strength for today if
you want to stay in peace
if you want to stay on a depression if
you want to stay out of worry and
anxiety and high blood pressure then
live today the power of now don’t let it
take a heart attack of something to say
you know if it’s going to happen someday
why not today I remember a credit card
commercial used to come on TV and it was
of a father and he had like a
six-year-old son on a swing and he
pushes him as high as they can and the
kid goes up in the swing but when he
comes back down he’s transformed in he’s
an 18 year old 180 pound teenager and
when he comes back down he hits the
father knocks and down to the ground and
the commercial caption said life comes
at you fast sometimes that’s how it is
just like that if you’re not careful
you’re living in some day some day some
day and you miss the power of now the
power of now is is that you expect God
now not some day the disciples got in
the storm the Bible said Jesus came
walking on the water but they said it’s

it wasn’t Casper it was Jesus but they
were notice a spirit is a ghost is is it
is it is the enemy Satan as an evil
thing they were expecting the devil but
they weren’t expecting Jesus so many
times we’re expecting bad things and
we’re not expecting Jesus now in the

knee if it’s gonna happen someday why
not today why don’t you release your
faith for today now faith is the
substance of things hoped for now the
definition of faith is not some day
faith is the substance of things hoped

when I don’t see it when I can’t put my
hand on it now I have faith for it that
is the definition of faith it’s right
now not some day not one day it’s now I
love Isaiah where he said behold I do a
new thing and then he puts this on there
now it shall spring forth turn to
somebody and say sometimes you got to
put your foot down and say now I’m not
gonna believe God one day I’m not gonna
believe God for these mountains to be
moved someday but I’m in a good Holy
Spirit service right now I think I’ll
just put my foot down and say now one
day I’m gonna surrender my life to the
Lord one day someday and the devil will
agree with you on that conversation
he’ll even join in you do need to give
your heart to the Lord
someday you do need to stop drinking and
taking drugs every day someday just not
now the power of this moment is when
someone says not some day I’ve lived my
last day in bondage I’ve lived my last
day in sin I’ve lived my last day in
condemnation in shame I’ve lived my last
day in a bad marriage we’re gonna get
some help
well Satan is the great procrastinator
behold I do a new thing now it shall
spring forth and that’s the power of
what I’m preaching because the scripture
said look at it in verse 10 one more
time he said everyone who brings out
wine brings it out but you have saved
the best until now that’s verse 10 now
watch verse 11 this was the beginning of
miracles notice the last word when they
said now the next thing that happens the
beginning of miracles you know when a
miracle will begin for you well when I
start seeing things change right here in

normal circumstances when your faith
says now I receive my miracle now by
faith I praise now I come with
thankfulness and a gratitude because I’m
going to enjoy the power of now you got
to make a decision you go always put

your laughs and all of the things that
life is offering you today you can
always put it out there someday someday
when I get the house paid off someday
when we’re going then you’re gonna be so
old you can’t go to where and do nothing
