of Judges are totally different the
difference is Joshua people will

go from obedience to disobedience

studies in our house was drove me nuts

know and I had no interest in God I had
no answer I don’t have interested in
myself and hi and get out of this
poverty over because I used to hear them

and I used to sitting out in this house
my mom and dad is struggling how come I
gotta get most of my money that I make
to them so they can live me and oldest

nature but when I got born again and I
got born again in Boston Massachusetts
in 1974 on Labor Day weekend about a
quarter to nine watching Billy Graham on
television because the only two
preachers I knew was the Pope and Billy
Graham and I live like Billy Graham in
fact I never physically met the man but
when he went home to the Lord he touched
my heart because he was such a
phenomenal man such a wonderful
individual well when I got born again I
didn’t know where to go to church I
didn’t know nothing about the hobby it
when the Spirit of Truth has come here
guide you in all truth hadn’t read that
yet so when I got born again on the
Labor Day weekend on a Saturday night
I told Kathy that morning I said let’s
go to church you’d like that fell out
you going to church because the last
time I was in church I cussed of posture
out on the Sunday morning I’m talking
major you don’t understand I’m not the
man he y’all see me happy and full of
joy and you know I’m funny I wasn’t
funny in those days
uh-uh uh-uh I was raised on the street
you do what you got to do so to me that
was normal and and then I won’t get into

short I um I said well let’s go to my

music business but on that first Sunday
with a church bus drew drove by we were
I said let’s follow that bus so we
followed that church bus and we went to
church and it stopped at this church and
that’s the this is the first service
less than 24 hours I’m saved I don’t
know I don’t know the word save like you
do – like I do today but I went into
that church and with the bell-bottom
jeans and Jesus sandals and a tie-dyed
t-shirt and head on the head with an
embroidery on me this is the seventh day
see you notice then and my first act as
a Christian was become a tither didn’t
know it they gave me I had just made
$80,000 for nine weeks of work and they
paid us in cash see you big concert
tonight and this man I didn’t realize he
said something I’m saying this for a
reason they said he said you know we’re
believing God and I thought that was a

because I was taught you don’t talk to

that was so hard I told him this I

stole it because they told me not to
read the Bible to go crazy and I’ve seen
some Pentecostals that I thought read
the Bible but they went slap praise so I
won’t be like that for God’s sake this

understand I’m just a baby Christian I

short that would be a Labor Day weekend
1974 took four months to get me out of
the music business because I was under
union contract you don’t leave you know
when you’re making big money for people

I didn’t I didn’t know what that meant
anyway I went out preaching didn’t know

quit my job I got the job

Truck Line a lot of their major CEOs
would come and listen to me play music
so this kiddy hang or state ego state
six weeks he’s a natural born
entertainer he’s gone he’s a rocker you
know but anyway I did very well with
those companies and so I went into
full-time ministry just come and stopped
it’s how you gonna live or someone live
by faith that’s what I said read in the
Bible how you week time we eat buffet
and I didn’t have enough doubt him I
didn’t know what that was because I just
said that was Jesus a well I went into
full-time ministry we started preaching
then I remember a man coming up to me
named Don Williams it was a similar God
pastor he said have you ever heard of
Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland how
long I’ve been preaching Katherine maybe
two years yeah do you that’s the first
year it would make an all-star show I
said no I don’t know who that he said
well there’s a guy named John Osteen I
said well who’s that he said man you
don’t know nothing I said no now I had
been pretty I was preaching almost every
week I in three days I was within six
weeks of going in full-time minister I
was booked over two years every week
it’s a mecca long story short I so I
went
that’s where I met Kenneth Copeland in
an elevator I didn’t know who he was he
said hello I’m Kenneth Copeland I didn’t

word of faith was revealed to me because
