was like no the title should be an
unnecessary miracle not a deserted place
and so I’ve changed the subject if you
were watching online and you saw a
deserted place watch the livestream at 9
o’clock but it’s going to be the same
message but I believe that God was
highlighting something different than
when I was studying and I want to always
be in alignment with what he’s doing not
what I plan to do so bear with me as I
work this thing out
so for pastor nights honeymoon I decided
that I was going to surprise him with
like an exotic honeymoon and I had
looked up like hotels that were on like
deserted islands but there were like
people there but they were like kind of
deserted and so pastor has control
issues which you guys would never know
because he’s so anointed on Sundays he
has total control issues just to give
you an example I’m not allowed to fly by
myself I mean I am cuz I’m an adult but
I’m not because I’m his wife and like
I’m submitted and stuff and so um but he
won’t let me fly by myself because I
think that planes are excellent
opportunities to take naps
and evidently sometimes while I am
functioning in the anointing of rest my
mouth drops open in worship and he
doesn’t want anyone sitting beside me so
he always had someone flying beside me
in case my mouth is open while I’m
sleeping I put peanuts in your mouth and
it’s evidently not a good look so he
literally will not let me fly anywhere
by myself control issues but he trusted
me with our honeymoon and so I had found
this deserted island and in my mind it
was going to be like so romantic and
special and and I have to tell you it
was kind of rough so we landed at the
airport and somebody’s uncle and his van
picked us up the van had been struggling
it was tired and dented and bruised but
not broken come on somebody but um
and then he took us to this dock and
then we got in this boat and the boat
was the cousin of the van because it was
bruised but not broken and then we got
to this island and this lady met us it
wasn’t like no flashlights or or like
any fire flames it wasn’t what I saw on
Google which I’m gonna report that
anyway and so like we got to the island
and the lady like takes us to the room
and it was there was no like lock on the
door it was like just a room with the
door that just closes like no lock and
she’s like just leave yourself here and
I’ll show you where you know dinner’s
gonna be and I thought but the door
doesn’t lock just leave all my so she’s
like oh don’t worry about it I was like
how am I not gonna worry about it I
don’t mean to be bougie but a door
locking would be nice you know like this
y’all didn’t exactly put that on the
thing that the doors don’t like but
that’s alright and we rolled with her
right and we and we rocked with her and
roll and then so
and so we go and she shows us a dinner
and I could tell that pastor was
uncomfortable but I could tell he was
also trying to not turn into the Hulk
right and so it was okay and and we
stayed there for it you know one to two
days with the door open you know not
locked and and walking over to the
kitchen and leaving all of our things
and he woke me up in the middle of the
night is probably like four or five
o’clock in the morning and he goes you
know what I’m over it I was like you
know what let’s go so we left our
honeymoon early but I will tell you one
of the beautiful things about the island
we were on outside of the doors not
locking one night we were sitting out on
the patio and we saw I’m not kidding ten
shooting stars in one night
that’s how untouched it was by men and
pollution and emissions we saw ten
shooting we sat there and we counted
them and so when we decided to leave we
were leaving that island and we had a
beautiful time but I was looking forward
to being back in a more conventional
setting for myself but I had to admit
that I was going to miss looking at the
Stars and seeing them shoot across the
sky but I recognized that in order for
us to go back to our life we were going
to have to lose some things and even now
when we’re driving like through the
canyons or even down Hollywood and
Highland I think about the fact that
this was once a deserted place to you
know there are millions of people who
live here now but but in the nineteen
hundreds like 1906 that’s Hollywood and
Highland right there can you believe it
the place where now we have the the Walk
of Fame and we’ve got stars in one
church in an Kodak Theatre it was once
deserted and so I recognize that even
though we take it for granted and it’s
all we’ve ever known the mere fact that
there are streets pay
in lights and signs on building it’s a
miracle too because it hasn’t always
been that way but some kind of way we we
lost out on the grass and the fields and
the mountains but we also gained in
innovation and being culturally diverse
and so I recognize that there is an
interesting relationship between loss
and gain that cannot be ignored that in
order for us to gain back our more
civilized life to gain our home and
sense of security that we had to lose
the shooting stars and it made me
realize that we spend so much time
focusing on what someone gains and how
they became whoever it is that they are
that we very rarely ask what did you
lose we see we see the streets we see
what Hollywood is now but I’m asking the
question what did it lose in order to
become what it is now so I have
challenged myself to not just be
impressed by the achievements and
accolades of people who I respected
admire even on a weekend like Grammy
weekend when people are going to be
collecting their awards and taking their
stages and dressed so beautifully it
would be easy to be envious but that’s
only because you don’t know what they
lost the truth is we don’t even have to
go to New York or Madison Square Garden
to see people with gains and losses in a
room this size there are plenty of gains
and losses I see how you’re focused and
dedicated but what we don’t see is how
you lost your innocence I see how you’re
powerful and driven but I don’t see how
you lost your friendships there’s this
dynamic relationship between loss and
gain I dare say that loss is the
backdrop for gain that for every great
gain you see there is
another loss that’s buried behind the
scenes and so my subject for today is in
unnecessary miracle and I want to talk
about Jesus greatest miracle being
performed under tremendous loss in order
to understand this Before we jump into
the text I think it’s imperative that
you recognize where Jesus is when we
find him in Matthew when we find him in
Matthew he has just received news that
John the Baptist has been beheaded why
is this so so difficult to comprehend
for Jesus is because it’s not just that
John the Baptist’s a great prophet of
the generation has been lost but John
the Baptist was Jesus cousin and not
only was his Jesus cousin he was also
Jesus frontrunner so when he receives
the news that John the Baptist is dead
it weighs heavily because there is this
person who knew his humanity and his
divinity that are no longer I don’t know
about you but it seems like in order for
a miracle in order for breakthrough in
order for us to elevate to the next
level there are moments when we leave
when we lose someone we thought we would
never lose someone who understood our
humanity and our divinity that I have a
call on my life but I’m also trying to
figure out who I am a childhood friend
who sat back and cheered you on but
couldn’t go any further after a certain
point we had this way of losing people
when we begin tapping into our divinity
it’s not always a big fall out it’s not
always a big argument sometimes it’s
just life and it happens and the person
who you thought would always be there
ends up having to be separated this is a
great weight that Jesus is experiencing
Jesus finds out that John the Baptist
has been beheaded after his disciples
John the Baptist’s disciples come to him
and check it they come to him because
they’re actually warning him that the
king
that the miracles that Jesus is
performing is actually John the Baptist
resurrected so it’s important that we
also recognize that not only is he
dealing with the loss of his cousin and
his frontrunner being beheaded but also
dealing with the pressure that’s going
to come with the fact of his divinity is
going to another level that means he’s
no longer undercover when John the
Baptist and Jesus were performing
miracles at the same time they didn’t
know exactly who was the one who they
should be going after but now that John
the Baptist is gone Jesus has taken
center stage which means he’s walking
around now with a target on his back and
I know not everyone in this room
understands that but I’m telling you
people pray for promotion and elevation
but you should be praying for is to
recognize that you’re gonna have a
target on your back that the more you
elevate the more recognizable you are
yes you get to sign autographs yes you
get to dress up yes you get all of those
other things but you know what you also
get you get three groups of people you
get one group that wants to keep you
small like King Herod wanted to keep
Jesus small keep the miracles on the low
he don’t let everyone know that he’s on
it he’s not all that anyway I don’t want
anyone to take attention from me so I
want to keep him small I got to keep
that person small there they’re doing
well out there in Los Angeles and
because I didn’t pursue my own dreams I
try to keep them small there’s always
going to be a group of people who try to
keep you small because you’re more
comfortable to connect with when you’re
small you’re easier to ignore when
you’re small I don’t have to face my own
insecurities and my own inadequacies
when you’re small but the more you grow
the more you get real about this Jesus
thing the more you become begin to
forgive the more you let bitterness not
have control over your life now I would
I preferred you when you were smaller so
Jesus has one group that’s trying to
keep him small but he also has the
multitudes and those he’s performing
miracles on who are trying to make him
big so you’re going to have
people who try to keep you small and
people who try to make you big I was
telling my husband this year is like a
crazy year and not to get too far off
track I’m gonna tie it all up because
that’s what the Lord’s called me to do
but here’s the thing you know like I
don’t consider myself like an organic
professional speaker like I have to like
pray and ask God because I get nervous
and my voice trembles and I start
shaking and stuff right but for some
reason you know well not for some reason
people invite me to speak and so because
people have invited me to speak and I
started off getting really nervous and
then God really came through a few times
there’s now an expectation when I speak
and I told my husband I don’t know what
was harder grabbing the mic and no one
knowing what to expect or grabbing the
mic and people having an expectation
yeah it’s something to consider because
we pray to do well in our passion and we
pray to do well in our purpose but then
there’s also a new precedent a new
standard at a new level that is created
when you break through something that
you can’t just go back to being the
person who was under the radar you can’t
just go back to being the person that
everyone slept on now all of a sudden
there is an expectation that when you
say you’re going to do something that is
gonna be done well when you say you’re
going to show up you’re gonna do it like
no one else can there is an expectation
and a pressure there is a pressure that
comes with being on center stage and so
Jesus has those who want to keep him big
as well they they want miracles they
want their loved ones to be healed he’s
got those who want to keep him small
those who want to keep him big and then
he has his disciples and those are the
people who are just wondering where they
fit in I just want to be connected to
you if your life has room for me have
you ever had that one friend when you
started getting really busy and then you
couldn’t connect with them the way that
they the way that they were used to and
but they still stood there they still
stayed there
cuz I just want to know that I still fit
in your life is there room for me the
more that we pray for promotion in that
God will develop us and accelerate us we
have to recognize those three groups of
people we will have to navigate through
so we find Jesus in the text and he’s
dealing with incredible incredible grief
that he’s lost John the Baptist and he’s
also dealing with the navigation of
people who want something from him and
people who don’t want him to do anything
at all and people who are wondering
where they fit in so it should come as
no surprise that in verse 13 jesus is
heading off to be by himself because
child sometimes purpose makes you so
sober that you don’t want to go out and
party you don’t want to go and drink you
don’t want to post anything on Instagram
you say you know what I want to do I
want to be by myself I want to be
somewhere with my own thoughts in my own
self just enjoying Who I am and most
importantly trying to figure out who I
am now have you ever had your life
changed so quickly with one phone call
and one move that before you go out and
announce to everyone that I’m new and
improved you got to take a minute and
say Who am I now now that my gift has
made room for me now that I’m in another
area now that I got the job now that I’m
not struggling Who am I now my identity
used to be that I’m struggling and I’m
just trying to make it but now I messed
around and figured out who I am
and that I got something to work with
and I don’t know who I am anymore I used
to say I’m not a preacher but now I kind
of think I might be a preacher because
when I got the microphone to start
preaching so God what are you trying to
say about Who I am trying to figure out
who I am cuz cuz I Unleashed my hand but
I didn’t know what was in it because I
Unleashed my gift in this city but I
didn’t realize how special it was God
Who am I now Who am I now Who am I now
when we find Jesus in the text he’s
trying to figure out who am I now and it
says when Jesus heard it he departed
from there by boat to a deserted place
by himself
he just wanted to be left alone but when
the multitudes heard it they followed
him on foot from the cities I love this
because I realized and I didn’t realize
it until I had read this over and over
again that technically speaking this was
the miracle before the miracle you’ll
remember that when I opened I said that
Jesus greatest miracle by sheer number
of people affected 5,000 fed with fish
and loaves of bread that that number was
the greatest miracle and it was set on
the backdrop of his greatest loss but I
recognized that there were miracles that
led to the big miracle what was the
miracle in verse 13 it’s that Jesus had
departed to a deserted place but when
the multitudes arrived it seems to be
deserted that’s a blessing because a
deserted place is an abandoned place
it’s abandoned of people but there was a
but wind that changed what was deserted
into a multitude there was a but wind
that caught him in the middle of when he
thought he was deserted in the middle of
the time where he thought like he just
wanted to be left alone in the middle of
the time where he was feeling the most
grief there was a but wind that changed
the situation there was a but wind that
interjected in the middle of the
loneliest hour that he had did you know
that purpose will chase you down and
cause a but wind to take shifts in your
life that you will be thinking that
you’re somewhere by yourself that you
should give up and pack up and go home
but when my phone rang something made me
believe that I had
there was a but when my heart was broken
but when I figured out who I was I
recognized that I needed you to break my
heart so that I could figure out who I
was you need to start asking God God
what is the but win connected to this
loss I know I’m upset I know I feel
broken but I know who you are and I know
that there’s always a but win connected
to deserted places there’s always a but
win but when the multitudes heard it
they followed him on foot from the
cities you know what they said to me to
that purpose will chase you now Jesus
wanted to be left alone
he just needed a minute to himself to
figure out who he was but the multitudes
didn’t care about what he was filling
the multitudes cared about the purpose
that was on his life I got so happy when
I found this because I realize how
purpose found me in the middle of a
divorce it’s because purpose will chase
you down purpose will find you in the
middle of depression some of you were
wondering where my purpose is and I’m
telling you that’s okay you’re going to
find out just know that purpose is
chasing you down you’re not experiencing
what you’re experiencing by coincidence
you’re getting in alignment so that
purpose can chase you down I know you
feel lost I know you feel broken I know
you’re wondering if you got what it
takes don’t worry because I hear the
footsteps of purpose chasing you down I
hear the footsteps of purpose chasing
depression I hear the footsteps of
purpose chasing generational curses I
hear the footsteps of purpose chasing
you down even when you want to be left
alone even when you wonder who you are
purpose still chases you down God said
before I formed you in your mother’s
womb I knew you and I will chase you
down until you find out what I knew
about you I’m so glad I’m so y’all know
me and my church girl breaks but I just
need a minute I just need 10 seconds to
thank God for purpose chasing me all the
way to one church Los Angeles purpose
chase me
way to Denver Colorado purpose shades me
all the way to this stage purpose chased
me then it chases me when I was 13 years
old pregnant it was chasing me when I
was going through a divorce purpose
chased me them all don’t get me started
because when I look back over my life
and I see when I should have lost my
mind I hear footsteps chasing me down
purpose chase somebody in this room
purposeful devil no not today not that
Chad I have a call on that life I have a
demand on the anointing I’ve put in them
and I will chase them down I’ll shake up
their whole life chasing them down I’ll
break them until they surrender purpose
will chase you down it’s chasing you
it’s chasing you it’s chasing you you’re
a world changer it’s chasing you it’s
chasing you it’s all gonna make sense in
the end is chasing you it’s chasing you
it’s chasing you it’s chasing you
purposes chasing you down through the
tears I’m still chasing through the
scars I’m still chasing through the
brokenness I’m still chasing through the
mistakes I was still chasing when you
wanted to give up on yourself he was
still chasing you I’m gonna move on when
I get it when I get it I’ll move on but
I just need a minute to look back over
my life when I dropped out of college
and it was still chasing me when I was
waitressing at a strip club and it was
still chasing me don’t thought I was
playing I shouldn’t be your pastor but
purpose chase me down purpose chasing me
down handcuffs and chase me down broken
and still chase me down let my life be a
testimony there’s somebody in this room
that purpose will find you no matter
where you go depression can’t have you
when purpose is chasing you down all
things work together
that’s what purpose chasing you down
looks like I hear the footsteps of
purpose chasing you down I hear the
footsteps of all things work together
chasing you down yes you yes you I’m
talking to you the person who came in
here on mainland slate I’m talking to
you purpose it’s chasing you down
[Applause]
and so when Jesus just wants to be by
himself
purpose finds him and verse 14 tells us
why purpose chased him it says and when
Jesus went out he saw a great multitude
and he was moved with compassion for
them
and healed their sick you know I purpose
could chase Jesus down because purpose
knew that Jesus would look outside of
how he was feeling and do what needed to
be done
purpose can chase you down when you are
able to look outside of yourself and see
the world around you need you more than
you need to be by yourself purpose will
chase you down when your life begins to
represent something that’s bigger than
you purpose will make you get up out of
the bed when you don’t even feel like it
because what I’m doing makes a
difference in this earth even if nobody
sees it but me because I’m working on
something that I know was going to
change and so purpose got him out of his
dark place out of his deserted place and
he began to moving and have compassion
for them and He healed their sick and
verse 15 says when it was evening his
disciples came to him saying this is a
deserted place and the hour is already
late so the disciples are trying to
figure out how they’re going to feed the
multitudes they went from being in a
deserted place to now being flooded with
a multitude and so they’re trying to
figure out how to make a provision for
the miracle that God created in a
deserted place yes so God attracted the
people to Jesus in a deserted place and
the disciples said the only way for us
to take care of the miracle he gave us
is to send it back out have you ever
prayed for a good relationship and then
you got the good relationship and you
realize that you were broken
maybe didn’t deserve it and so you tried
to send the miracle back have you ever
prayed for it good job and then you got
in the job and you felt like the dumbest
person in the room and so you tried to
say I’ll just go get the coffee yeah if
you remember the deserted place was no
longer a deserted place because now what
was a deserted place is now a multitude
of people that was the first miracle we
saw them verse 13 so what I’m saying is
that the disciples had old facts about
what was taking place they didn’t
recognize that they were actually
standing in a miracle this was a
deserted place but now it’s not anymore
because the multitude are here you’re
always going to have people who have old
news and old facts about how to fix your
miracle I’m gonna say and say it until I
can figure it out they didn’t mean any
harm they just had old news and old
facts they were still functioning off of
the idea that this was a deserted place
but it wasn’t a deserted place it wasn’t
a deserted place anymore it used to be a
deserted place I used to be the kind of
person who you could run over but you
working on for old news and old fast cuz
I experienced the miracle of knowing who
I am and now I don’t just take anything
I kind of start standing up for myself
in a way that i voice my opinion and I
interject my ideas because you’re
working off of old news and old facts
they don’t mean any harm the disciples
didn’t mean any harm they were just
trying to tell Jesus what was practical
they just forgot that they were standing
in a miracle and you can’t use practical
knowledge when God has given you a
miracle opportunity I’m gonna say it
again you can’t use practical knowledge
when God has given you a mirror
whole opportunity the disciples were
working off of the practical but Jesus
had a secret when they say that this is
a deserted place in the hour is already
late what they’re really really
explaining and expressing is where Jesus
was before the multitudes came
emotionally he was in a deserted place
and the hour was late but when purpose
chased him down it shifted everything so
Jesus is bringing into the conversation
the reality of a miracle taking place
but also having to navigate through the
disciples perspective of having a
problem and so it says that send the
multitudes away that they may go into
the villages and buy themselves food and
verse 16 says but jesus said to them
they do not need to go away you give
them something to eat this was gangster
okay I love Jesus because Jesus was a
gangster and you know I like to dabble
in gangsterism I think it’s a I think
it’s an art form Jesus tells them to
make something up Jesus tells them that
the very thing you’re standing in is a
miracle just like this city is a miracle
because it was once a deserted place and
to not let your fear of not being able
to sustain this miracle make you send it
away instead make it force it to make
you dig deeper until you pull something
out that feeds what’s in front of you
that’s the whole message right there I
want you to do
so deep inside of yourself that you pull
something out then feed something you
have no business being able to do I want
you to stop waiting for someone else to
tell you what to do and stop waiting on
someone else to tell you how to take
your gifts and talents and fix it and
instead I want you to dig so deep down
inside of yourself that you decide you
can be the actor producer director
screenwriter editor and everything else
I want you to dig so deep then on the
inside of yourself that God grants you
listen and unnecessary miracle do you
know what an unnecessary miracle is
y’all can stand I’m almost finished do
you know what an unnecessary miracle is
it’s when there is a more practical
option but because you had the courage
to dig deep down and try anyway that he
grants you a miracle that wasn’t even
necessary I tell you I was torn with
calling this message in unnecessary
miracle because I recognized practically
it wasn’t necessary anytime we see Jesus
doing miracles in the scriptures he’s
helping the blind to see the blind don’t
have any other option Jesus if you don’t
do it I’ll never see again the lame men
didn’t have any options Jesus if you
don’t touch my legs I’ll never walk
again
why Jesus why would you spend your time
on this unnecessary miracle you could
have sent them back to the village you
could have helped them to get something
to eat in any other way
why did you take the little boy’s lunch
and break it and bless it and feed the
multitude he said it may have been
unnecessary for me to feed them that way
but it was necessary for my disciples to
recognize that they can ask me to do
things and dig deep down within
themselves and produce something in
places that were once deserted I got a
say in how
feeling sometimes when you go from being
in a deserted place
to a place that’s full of multitude when
you go from being desperate to
comfortable when you go from higher to
when you go from not working to hired
you can stop asking God for like
miracles you know like when you needed
the car and you needed the job your
prayer life was a little bit different
but then you get comfortable and you
cease to live in this deserted place
where you were asking for miracles but I
felt like God was saying if he would
have sent the people away if he would
have sent the multitudes back to the
villages then they would have missed out
on a miracle what am I saying I’m saying
that the places that were once deserted
in your life that there are still
miracles attached to that place that God
did not just bring you here or get you
into their relationship or get you the
job or get you into school and that was
the blessing there’s miracles there’s
levels to this miracle there’s levels to
this thing that I’m doing on the inside
of you and it may look unnecessary on
the outside that someone who is doing as
well as you are or as comfortable as you
are what dare ask God to give you
another miracle but your unnecessary
miracle is necessary for other people to
see the unnecessary miracle had nothing
to do with feeding the multitude and
everything to do with the mindsets of
the disciples needing to change so maybe
it wasn’t necessary for me to feed them
in that way I could have sent them back
to the village but then the disciples
would have ceased to know that I will do
exceedingly and abundantly that my
miracles know no limits
what I’m saying is that there may be
someone in this room and as you’ve been
progressing and seeing success in some
areas that there may be a part of you
that wonders is this it is this the
ceiling for me is have I gotten it as
far as I can get and I think that that
is only because you haven’t dug deep
down enough to say God show me what I
have to give I know you did a miracle on
this level and I’m grateful and if you
did nothing else I would be satisfied
but because I’m still here I think that
there may be something else that you
need for me to do so God open up another
deserted place down on the inside of me
open up I wanted to help out my
potential the deserted place the
potential had not been tapped out for
miracles unless they chose to send
things away so this altar call this
message is for anyone who’s been
believing that maybe they’ve reached the
pinnacle of success maybe you’ve made it
further than anyone else has made it who
looks like you were anyone else who came
from a city like yours and if you’re
honest there’s this question down on the
inside of you if can I even ask for God
to do more is there anything even left
down on the inside of me and you want to
ask God to give you the mindset of
unnecessary miracles that you would just
do exceedingly and abundantly above all
that I could ask or think not for my
glory but so that others around me can
learn from my journey so that my faith
can be made stronger so that I can
recognize that I am most powerful when I
live in a deserted place I know that
this is my purpose because it forces me
to live in a deserted place every time I
speak and drop the microphone and get in
the car I think to myself god I don’t
know if I can do that again like
seriously like unleashed like seriously
you know like it was died it wasn’t me
it was God but I got in the car I’m like
I could probably end it right now like I
could probably not speak again ever
right now but because I want to live in
a deserted place where I have to dig
deeper and create a new floor it
requires for me to be empty over and
over again it requires me to say God
give me something to feed them and when
the disciples asked God how can I feed
them if you just put up the last verse
for me verse 18 he gives us divine
instructions on how to take it in verse
18 it says he said bring them here to me
he says give me what you’ve got
dig deep down within yourself they said
we don’t have anything and he says give
me what you do have and verse 19
continues and it says that he then
commanded the multitude to sit down wait
on it God’s not gonna let your destiny
pass you by he’s gonna make everything
wait on you while he takes what you
don’t have and multiplies it until it is
enough to feed everything connected to
you
he made the multitude sit down I’m
working on them I gave them a miracle on
one level but I’m about to show them
another miracle miracles that only I can
perform in a deserted place so just sit
down and wait and he took the five
loaves and the two fish he took the not
enough and he looked up to heaven and He
blessed and broke and he gave the loaves
to the disciples to the ones who didn’t
believe and in the hands of the ones who
didn’t believe he gave them their
responsibility of passing it out why
because God wanted them to see how when
you pass it out I’ll refill your hand so
when God had me
scheduled to speak on this Sunday he
said you think that the two fishing the
Pablo you think that that was all you
had but I’m telling you as you pass it
out I’m gonna refill your hand that
means that you’ve tapped into a well
that will never run dry that means you
don’t have to be worried about whether
or not you’ve reached the pinnacle of
your success because as you give he
gives as you give he gives as you share
your life with the multitude as you
share your gifts and your talent with
all of those connected to you don’t
worry there will be moments when you
want to be by yourself there will be
moments when you question whether you
have what it takes
but because purpose will chase you down
in the middle of you filling the
loneliest in the middle of you filling
the most rejected perhaps even lost
he’s refilling your hand so that you
have more to give maybe you’re here and
you say I’d love to hear about Jesus but
I don’t know if I fully like believe in
him but as you were speaking you said
something and I kind of felt like
there’s power in the name of Jesus like
like the one thing I may be missing is
this relationship with Jesus and and
maybe you’re hearing you say you know
what I’m not really a fan of religion I
don’t believe in rules and all of that
stuff we’ll listen honey you in the
right place cuz ciao okay we all trying
to figure it out together too we don’t
ask for perfection at the potter’s house
that one la we don’t ask that you have
it all together as a matter of fact we
prefer that you come in just as you are
because we know that that’s when you
have a relationship with God that
radically transforms your life and so
this moment at the altar is for you too
I just want to take a moment to pray if
you lift your hands with me and
surrender yeah
I think there’s something powerful about
lifting your hands in surrender
especially in this season when we’re
asking that God would help us to dig
deep down and to pull out gifts and
talents and ideas and wisdom and
discipline that honestly doesn’t come
naturally to us but because he’s called
us and given us an opportunity we need
to see increase in those areas and so
God we lift our hands in surrender and
we say searches searches god help us to
reveal miracles that we left behind
because we were too afraid to challenge
ourselves help us to see miracles that
we left laying dormant because we
weren’t sure that we can actually lay
hold of it God searches searches
searches for those unnecessary miracles
yes we’re doing okay and we could
continue living this way for the rest of
our lives but God we want to die empty
we want to live on the edge of grace we
want to live meeting you each and every
single day God don’t let us become so
comfortable in our lives that we miss
being desperate for a touch from you
gotta open up the hearts of these your
sons and daughters represented at this
altar and feel them God is only you can
do fill them until miracles start
floating to the surface fill them o God
until they recognize that you have
called them not to just attract
multitudes but to feed them that they
are people of substance and wisdom and
they don’t have to do it the way
everyone else did it because you have
divinely orchestrated them to feed those
attracted to them God let everyone
become better as a result of being
connected with them let their marriages
become better their relationships be
restored the industry become better in a
safe place for everyone because they are
connected to it that’s the kind of
miracles that you do and so God I’m
asking on behalf of every salt that you
would break open the windows of heaven
had to create right now in the name of
Jesus I declare it right now in the name
of
that miracles would be unleashed in this
place I make a demand on the anointing
that is that on the inside of them and I
say overflow in the name of Jesus I
rebuke fear I rebuke insecurity I rebuke
and adequacy I rebuke generational
curses I rebuke depression I refute
anything that would make them believe
that they are anything other than caught
I rebuke it I find it up and I send it
back to hell so that the only thing that
stands is your righteousness so that the
only thing that stands is your purpose
so that the only thing that stands is
your glory God filled them with your
glory and let them go from that glory to
another level of glory and from that
glory to another level of glory God let
him die empty and then even when they
pass let their legacy be of that of one
who surrendered to the process of living
in deserted places just repeat after me
Heavenly Father thank you for Jesus
thank you for making him who had no sin
all of mine all of my weaknesses all of
my fears all of my deserted places you
placed in his body and when he was
raised up free and victorious I was to
with the multitude assigned to my
purpose order my steps give me wisdom
and focus to not just attract but to
also feed everything connected to me
