when i was growing up in church there
would be these moments during youth
sunday in particular and they would have
this chant right i’m a church girl most
of you all know that they would say
ain’t no party like a holy ghost party
because the holy ghost party don’t stop
and they would say that over and over
again i don’t know about you but sundays
have a special joy for me because it
feels like a holy ghost party and so i
just want you to take a minute and just
thank god thank god that we’re starting
a new week thank god that we made it
through the end of the week and i want
you to do it with joy and sometimes
having joy in the midst of trouble is a
sacrifice but i want to give you
permission to have joy that you get
another shot joy that you get to show up
again joy that you get to rebuild
somebody didn’t even have the knowledge
that they needed to rebuild and yet you
are embarking on the work of becoming
whole can we just take a minute and have
our own holy ghost party i don’t know
where you’re watching from but i bet we
could have a holy ghost party in london
i bet we could have a holy ghost party
in nigeria i bet we could get it in
right here in los angeles what’s up east
coast can we have a holy ghost party
because when we have a holy ghost party
what we’re saying is listen pity party
you gotta go depression you gotta move
over for a minute because the holy ghost
is here and wherever the holy spirit is
there is an opportunity for change for
transformation so why would i not have
joy
if you knew what i knew about the god
that i serve
if you knew what i knew about everything
that i’ve gone through and how god keeps
on making away you would have a holy
ghost party down in your soul too can we
just take 10 seconds and just
acknowledge the king of kings can we
acknowledge the lord of lords god i
thank you that you’ve never left my side
god i thank you that you keep sending
people to remind me of your love god i
thank you for your favor god i thank you
that today’s problems were yesterday’s
prayers god i thank you that this is not
the end for me i thank you that there is
victory connected even to this trial i
prophesy it right now in the name of
jesus that the storm that you’re facing
right now has victory connected to it do
you know how i know there’s victory
because my god is not a man that he
shall lie and god says that when the
story is finished when it’s all said and
done that all things are going to work
together for your good so i’m
celebrating the good even in the middle
of trouble i’m celebrating the good even
in the middle of struggle i’m
celebrating the good even in the middle
of fear i don’t have to know what the
ending is gonna be to know that my god
is gonna make a way when it’s all said
and done i could have a holy ghost party
all by myself if i have to but i know
there’s somebody who won’t leave me on
my own
may we never forget
that our praise is a weapon
may we never forget that we don’t need
musicians and music and cheerleaders in
order to have a praise party that if i
just get to thinking about the goodness
of god
the faithfulness of god
and how god just continues to keep
reaching out for me and pulling me up
and stretching me and changing me and
transforming me i get joy when i think
about it so yes it is a happy sunday and
yes i may be a little drunk in the
overflow of the call but i’m telling you
if you didn’t get a chance to experience
what we experienced this weekend it is
not too late for you to get a little sip
of this holy ghost party wine when i
tell you so much revelation so much
growth and development i am so grateful
for the senior leadership of this house
pastor taray roberts babe honey i am so
honored to just be under your leadership
to be a disciple in your ministry it
continues to just
challenge me to innovate and to pioneer
and to be okay with my unique grace and
anointing it goes without saying
everyone knows me for well i won’t say
everyone knows me but a lot of people
know me as bishop td jake’s daughter but
can i tell you that being tarray
robert’s wife
has been one of the most
transformational identities that i’ve
taken on because you my king have
created space for me to flourish and i
thank you that you’re doing the same for
every person connected to your anointing
and so i’m glad you get the day off
thank you for allowing me to serve you
and to serve the community in this way
if you’ve got your bible
let’s go to first samuel 15.
if you’re just going to read on the
screen you’re already there you low-key
cheated but that’s okay
we’re gonna go to first samuel
chapter 15 verse
17 17-21
i
may give my message a subject
that subject is becoming an influencer
becoming an influencer in this day and
age and this social media environment
everyone wants to be an influencer
but as i was studying i recognized that
being an influencer is not something
that is this modern way of thinking this
modern way of being that this is a
principle that existed even in scripture
i want to go to first samuel 15 verse 17
and my text begins it says
so samuel samuel is a prophet
he is a prophet to the very first king
of israel who is saul
samuel says to saul
when you were little in your own eyes
were you not head of the tribes of
israel in other words when you didn’t
even think you were worthy
did not god put you in a position of
influence
and did not the lord anoint you king
over israel when you were little you
didn’t have to do anything you didn’t
have to become anyone as a matter of
fact it could have been the fact that
you were little that god says i can
trust you with this influence
now the lord sent you on a mission
and said go
and utterly destroy the sinners the
amalekites and fight against them until
they are consumed
why then why then did you not obey the
voice of the lord
why did you swoop down on the spoil and
do evil in the sight of the lord
and saul said to samuel
but i have obeyed the voice of the lord
and god on the mission on which the lord
sent me and brought back aegac king of
amalek
i have utterly destroyed the amalekites
but the people took of the plunder sheep
and oxen
the best of the things which should have
been utterly destroyed to sacrifice to
the lord your god and gilgal
holy spirit
man we just receive
all of the promises and the gifts
and the change and the challenge and the
conviction
that comes when we have an encounter
with you
it is my prayer that for everyone who is
connected to this word that they would
dare take a moment to remove the
distractions that they may become one
with your spirit god
and as we become one with your spirit
may you deep go diving deeply deeply
within us god
that you would explore what other
spirits are trying to manipulate us and
control us
but ultimately that you may deliver us
from those spirits
so that we can walk boldly
in your spirit
i’d let this be a moment of intertwining
that we would become closer and closer
to being one with you
so that we can show up as the best
version of ourselves on earth
god give this message your pace
your emphasis
your oil your anointing
i turn it over to you and i say have you
away great god that you are
in jesus name i pray

family i was
studying you know um i already started
with my ain’t no party like the holy
ghost party i think i’ve been in a
really churchy mood lately it’s probably
because during the super bowl i was
anything but churchy they took me back
they took me back i wasn’t even ready to
go that far back and my daughter i was
telling everyone earlier my daughter was
embarrassed by how far they took me back
she had never seen her mother do those
things okay
so now i’m i didn’t flip the pendulum in
the other direction i’m churchy today
okay i was thinking though when i was
growing up in church we had children’s
church we didn’t necessarily have bible
study
at least bible study in the way that you
have bible study before church service
where i have seen in other communities
when we went to church on sunday my
parents went to church we went into
children’s church
and i didn’t really have a relationship
with god until i was much older i mean
in my 20s anytime the salvation prayer
was said between the ages of 5 and 23 i
made sure to say it because i just
wanted to make sure i didn’t know if the
last one was going to work because i
knew i wasn’t exactly where i needed to
be but when i became older i really
started studying the word more
started having a relationship with god
but there were still these unanswered
questions that i had until i took some
classes in theology and seminary there
were unanswered questions questions like
why do we have an old testament and a
new testament
and i don’t know if you’re like me and
you have those types of questions but
you maybe are too nervous or don’t even
know where do i go to ask these types of
questions i’m going to give you a little
bible study lesson right so we have an
old testament and a new testament in our
bible because the old testament focuses
exclusively on god’s relationship and
connection with israel
his chosen people
this is a story about how god got a
chosen people why he chose the chosen
people and the promises connected to
those people it’s where we begin to
discover god’s covenant with humanity
specifically though with this particular
people
that’s why even though we as christians
have an old testament and new testament
for those who are of the jewish faith
they still have the old testament as
their sacred scripture because it is a
covenant between god and their people
and yet for those of us who believe in
jesus we have the new testament because
the new testament is when all of these
promises all of the
foreshadowings that we experience in the
old testament are made manifest in the
new testament the new testament
tells us the story of jesus it documents
his life how he came into the world who
his mother was and then the influence he
had over those who were connected to him
while he walked the earth and then it
goes on to tell us about his death
burial and resurrection and how the
apostles continued with that same
influence and so the old testament and
the new testament had this incredible
dance of us understanding what god was
promising what god would say was
possible and then the new testament
being the manifestation of that
there are 400 years in between the
ending of the old testament and the
beginning of the new testament
i love this because that separation
seems unnecessary why not just tell the
full story and yet it is necessary
because the difference between the old
testament and the new testament is the
plot twist that god introduces
in the old testament
we’re waiting for the promise
we’re waiting for the manifestation
in the new testament though it’s here
one of the things that we see jesus
preaching over and over again in the new
testament is about the kingdom of heaven
being at hand this is to mark that the
old kingdoms have passed away that we’re
no longer looking who’s going to be king
we’re not looking for the next david
we’re not looking for the next saul
we’re not looking for the next solomon
that this is all passed away and there
is a new king in town and this king will
never be defeated and this king is going
to reign forever that’s why we hear
jesus saying over and over again the
kingdom of heaven is at hand because i
need everyone to understand that that
old way of thinking in the old testament
is not going to help you in this new
season this new season is going to
require for you to understand that the
kingdom of heaven can inhabit your heart
the kingdom of heaven can come into your
own home the kingdom of heaven is not
just designated to one person or one
people group anyone who dares to believe
in who jesus is as the messiah can have
access to the new testament to this new
covenant to this new way of being this
is the kingdom of heaven
every now and then god has a plot twist
and it takes faith for us to see and
sense when the plot twist is taking
place
that’s why you can’t be so busy on
autopilot that you miss when god is
shifting things oh i feel that already
for somebody i love that pt had the call
and he was calling it about being
pioneers because when there’s a shift
taking place you’ve got to be sensitive
to understand that something new has
taken place i don’t know if you feel
this for yourself but i’ve been feeling
it within my own life that there’s a
shift taking place and not just a shift
in the earth i mean there’s a shift
taking place on the inside of me i’m
showing up differently i’m thinking
differently i’m speaking differently i’m
studying differently because i recognize
that there is a new kingdom that is
being established in this earth there is
a new way of being that is being
established in this earth and i want to
be a part of that kingdom when jesus
started recruiting he says the kingdom
of heaven is at hand and that was enough
for those who were under the sound of
his voice to recognize that there’s a
new flow in town there’s a new way of
existing there’s a new way of being i
came to prophesy to somebody that
there’s a new flow coming to your house
there’s a new flow coming to your
creativity there’s a new flow coming to
your business and i feel like somebody
needs to make an announcement to the old
flow that the new flow is here because
if you don’t make an announcement to the
old flow the new flow doesn’t have any
space but sometimes you’ve got to serve
an eviction notice on the way that you
used to flow i don’t flow like that
anymore i don’t think like that anymore
i’m making room for the new flow i’m
making room for the new way of being the
kingdom of heaven has come to my
depression the kingdom of heaven has
come to my industry the kingdom of
heaven has come to my music make way for
the new flow make way for the new way of
being make way for how god is shifting
and changing things in this season of
your life you don’t have to wait until
god has shifted it for you to begin
walking in the ships don’t wait for
everyone else to get the news for you to
step into the fact that it has already
happened jesus was waiting to see who
would just believe by faith is it you
are you willing to believe by faith that
this shift is taking place this shift is
happening
jesus
represents how god shows up in the earth
when he shows up through humanity
when god shows up in the earth he shows
up through his creation he shows up
through humanity
and jesus is the perfect model that we
are to follow because it shows us how we
need to be changing and transforming so
that we can show up as god’s children
jesus
recognizes
that his role
is to maximize his influence
jesus he is here to establish the
kingdom of heaven
he’s here to wage war on any other
kingdom
he’s waging war on the pharisees he’s
waging war on the sadducees he’s waging
war on the romans it doesn’t always look
like it in the moment
but because he’s just showing up in his
purpose and in his identity that wages
war
that’s a word for somebody right there
that sometimes we are so focused on our
war strategy that we miss out on the
opportunity to just stand flat-footed in
our identity
not recognizing that if you would just
show up as you if you would just show up
in the fullness of your authenticity if
you would just show up in your
vulnerability if you would just show up
without pride if you would just show up
as who god has orchestrated and anointed
you to be in this moment that that is a
long to wage war but because you were so
committed to being who you are supposed
to be you don’t even have to worry about
the enemies that come with authenticity
the enemies that come with authenticity
are the lord’s enemies because if they
were your enemies you would have
something to worry about but because
they are the lord’s enemy the only thing
you have to do is be authentic to who
god has called you to be if you stay
authentic if you stay committed then you
don’t have to worry
about who is waging war against you so
jesus just shows up and he’s just being
himself and he’s just performing
miracles and he’s letting the division
happen where it’s supposed to happen and
he’s letting the fallout happen wherever
it is supposed to happen because he
recognizes that in order for him to be
influential he needs to be
focused
if i’m going to be influential i need to
be focused
let’s talk about influence for a moment
i want to speak about influence because
i recognize that that is how god is
going to attract people into the kingdom
of heaven
it’s going to happen through influence
if i can define influence for you
influence
first of all you have to see influence
as power
influence
is power
so when jesus is recruiting those who
are connected to the kingdom of heaven
those who receive the revelation of the
kingdom of heaven he’s doing it through
influence not so that they can be drawn
back to him but that they but so that
they can become influencers as well
that means that when you receive a touch
from heaven that that touch is supposed
to make you touchable to someone else
and that touch ought to make them
touchable to someone else there is a
chain reaction a multiplication that
happens with influence and when you
recognize that influence is power
influence means to get in a flow i
looked up the eptomology of this word it
means to get in the flow that means when
jesus was talking about the kingdom of
heaven he wasn’t just talking about a
kingdom he was talking about a flow and
his job in the earth was to get other
people to get into the flow and your job
is to make sure that whatever you have
influence over is flowing in the right
direction when you are serious about
your influence you want to recognize how
does this flow connect you to a better
kingdom how does this flow connect you
to a better version of yourself because
everyone can get influence but not
everyone can make sure that that
influence flows you into a better
direction there are people right now who
have influence on social media in the
culture on the news but that influence
is actually not flowing at all just
because you see numbers doesn’t mean
that there’s influence sometimes you’re
looking at ponds you’re looking at lakes
you’re not looking at flows but you’ll
know that someone is in the flow when
everything they do has growth connected
to it there’s movement you better watch
out when you get connected with me
because i’m in a flow i’m trying to be
something that i’ve never seen before
i’m trying to manifest a power that i’ve
never had access to before when you get
connected to me you’re connected to a
flow you got to watch out for stagnant
people you got to watch out for little
pond people because those are the kind
of people that look like they have a lot
of influence but there’s no movement
happening down on the inside of them but
i believe that this is a season in which
you need to be connected with people who
are on the move how are you growing how
are you becoming better how are you
prophesying how are you praying how are
you developing wholeness that’s down on
the inside of you anything connected to
me has got to be connected with the flow
that’s happening down on the inside of
me because if you’re not connected to my
flow then you’re stopping my flow and
i’ve already wasted enough time i’ve
already wasted enough money and i’ve
already wasted enough resource i’m in a
season in my life where i can’t afford
to miss so if you’re going to be with me
you got to get in the flow and if you
can’t get in the flow the greatest gift
you can give someone
is moving out of the way so that god can
flow through them
anything that ever caused me harm in my
life
were the things that took me further
away from who god was calling to be
calling me to be
but there is another danger that happens
and that danger is not just someone
pulling you back
but being restricted in a way that keeps
you from growing
if you cannot grow you can be connected
to god
because god says i gotta work things
together for your good god says i gotta
keep developing you i gotta keep growing
you so anything that keeps you stagnant
has to have a confrontation with the
influence that god wants to give you and
god wants to give you influence so that
you move and you need to be connected
with people who make you move in the
right direction you need to be connected
with people who make you move even when
you don’t want to move i don’t know if
you’ve ever stood in a river and felt
the current come when you weren’t
expecting it when that current comes you
have no choice but to move that’s why i
say you got to be careful who you’re in
the flow with because i got to make sure
this river is headed to living water i
got to make sure this river is headed to
growth i got to make sure that this job
is gonna make me better and not take me
away from the very thing i’m trying to
build at home i gotta make sure that
this flow was gonna help me to stay
sober i gotta make sure that this flow
was gonna lead me to forgiveness come on
somebody i’m talking about a flow that
can change your life i’m talking about a
flow that’ll change generational
blessings and take those generational
curses and destroy them and make them
drown i’m talking about a flow that’ll
change the way you speak a flow that’ll
change the way you prophesy a flow
that’ll make you bold where you were
once weak a flow that’ll give you faith
in the place where you once had fear
there is a new flow coming to 2022.
there is a new flow coming to your city
and if you don’t get in the flow you’re
going to miss that god is trying to move
you i’m trying to change you i’m trying
to transform you how is god going to do
it i’m going to do it because you got in
the flow i’m going to do it because you
got connected to somebody who was on the
move you need to be connected to
somebody that’s going to push you out of
your comfort zone to somebody that’s
going to make you open your mouth to
somebody that’s going to say you know
you’ve been called for too long you know
you’ve been playing for too long let me
be that somebody in your life on a
sunday morning calling you out of your
stupidity calling you out of your sin
calling you out of your shame calling
you out of your insecurity it is time
for you to get in the flow we don’t have
any games to play we got a world to
change
we’ve got a generation to save
and you are an influencer
there ought to be a flow connected to
you
what happened to your flow
what happened to your fire
what happened to your power

the grief the disappointment the setback
you stop flowing
some of you you’re down to a trickle
[Music]
others of you you’re just as stagnant
just a stagnant body of water
it is time for you to become an
influencer
to get in the flow
where you’re passionate about
righteousness again
where you’re passionate about your work
and your creativity where family means
something where you really do want to be
clean where you really do want to be
whole where you really do want to
produce something that matters you got
out of the flow
and my mandate
for today is to remind you
that still is not your portion
stagnant is not your portion
there was a plot twist in the new
testament
and that plot just
that plot twist was meant to make you
move again
move again to go into all of the world
now i’m not going to lie to you
we are a little bit away from my notes
but the reason why this text stood out
in my mind
is because i wanted to study the life of
the first influencer
the first person that god anointed and
appointed to influence people
it is worthy of noting
that god did not want to give israel a
king
but israel said we want a king because
we see everyone else has a king god give
us a king
and so god anoints
saul to become king
but in the process of anointing saul to
become king
his call was contingent on his obedience
he wasn’t just called to be an
influencer to lead people wherever he
wanted to lead them
god put him in position god gave him
influence because god wanted to lead the
people by any means necessary
if we were wise enough to just follow
god’s instruction we wouldn’t have jesus
but because people are drawn to
influence they’re drawn to flows they’re
drawn
to growth they’re drawn to movement god
says i’m going to use what people are
attracted to to get them back to me to
get them back to having relationship and
connection with me and the first person
he utilizes to do this is saul
but saul
like many of us
i’ve become even more compassionate
towards saul the more that i study this
text
is an insecure influencer
saul is an insecure influencer he’s in
position
he’s connected
he has been appointed
but saul doesn’t really trust the
equipment that god has given him for his
appointment
you see
no one really talks about this right
because everyone wants to be called
right but few few were chosen i’m off
the heels of the call so this is down in
my spirit
but there’s something that happens when
you are called but don’t feel like you
are equipped
that’s why many are called but few were
chosen there are very few who trust the
equipment that they have been given for
the call connected to their lives you’re
watching this right now and there are so
many things that should have been
birthed from you right now there are so
many ideas so many books so many
ministries so many lives that should
have been touched by you but because you
didn’t trust your equipment you have
been called but you haven’t been chosen
yet because you don’t trust the
equipment that god has given you
i want to give you some insight into how
god equips saul for the position that
he’s placed him in he sends him a
prophet
because when god puts you in position he
doesn’t just put you there without a
mouthpiece to god
there are going to be some people in
this season of your life and i just want
to prophesy this over your life right
now that you are no longer going to stay
stagnant that you are no longer going to
be called but not trusting your
equipment that you’re about to utilize
the equipment that god has given you
even if that equipment doesn’t look like
anything you’ve ever seen before and i’m
going to tell you how god is going to
teach you to use it god’s going to send
you a prophet god’s going to send you a
mentor god’s going to send you a book
god’s going to send you a message that’s
going to show you what to do with the
equipment that god has given you i hear
god saying that you’ve got to stop
looking at the equipment that he’s given
other people you’ve got to stop looking
at the resources that i gave other
people and you’ve got to trust the
equipment that i gave you god says i
would not have put you in that position
i would not have placed that desire in
your heart if you did not have the
equipment to bring it to its fullest
potential and i want you to understand
that this is a season to maximize
everything that god has given you i want
to prophesy wisdom over your equipment i
want to prophesy faith over your
equipment i want to prophesy vision over
your equipment i want to prophesy power
over your equipment i want to prophesy
growth over your equipment i hear god
saying that the equipment you have right
now is not the equipment you’re going to
have when it’s done but if you don’t
start using what i equipped you with
right now then you’re going to miss out
on how i’m going to develop you and grow
you i hear guys saying that use what i
gave you use what you got right now put
it to work and trust me and when the
prophet speaks i need you to respond
when they say to publish the website i
need you to respond when they say to
drop the music i need you to respond
respond when the prophet speaks or
you’re going to miss out not just on
what god wants to do through you but on
the people connected to you you my
friend are an influencer and god wants
to break open the floodgates of heaven i
feel like prophesying in this place i
don’t know who you are but i feel like
heaven wants to open up the floodgates
but because you’re too afraid of where
you’re going to be carried and you’re
too afraid that you won’t be able to
handle it that you’ve been holding back
the goodness of god over your life
you’ve been holding back the oil of god
over your life but if someone would dare
be crazy enough to allow the windows of
heaven to be open over their life you
will see that there are floodgates
connected to who you are
and it’s going to happen with everything
you’ve got now
you lack nothing
your flow can get started right now
you lack nothing
put that equipment to work
put that knowledge to work you don’t
have to have all of the answers no one’s
asking you to be a phd i’m just asking
you to be obedient man i feel like
prophesying in this place when saul ends
up disappointing god god says i didn’t
need you to give me anything to
sacrifice all i wanted was your
obedience i didn’t need you to start
thinking your way into it all i needed
you to do was be obedient and your
obedience is gonna break open the
floodgates your obedience is gonna make
the difference your obedience is gonna
build the family your obedience is gonna
break the addiction your obedience is
gonna build the ministry who are you and
where are you called to because i hear
god saying that i’m going to do it
through your obedience the greatest tool
in your toolkit
is your obedience
it is not your education
it is not your finances it is not your
connection
it is your obedience

and obedience is a sacrifice when you
don’t feel equipped
but obedience is the only way that you
can get in the flow
otherwise you’ll be
standing on one side of the call
but needing people to validate you on
the other side
[Music]
saul gives us insight into
how he ended up off course
he thinks that he did everything that
god asked him to do but he didn’t
because what saul did was he found a way
to do it his way
in a way that would please the people
and in a way that would have do what god
told him to do
and that way is half stepping in half
showing up and half being present would
end up being saul’s demise
because god wants full obedience
and full obedience leaves you vulnerable
and full obedience may not make you
popular amongst people
that’s why you cannot judge influence by
the number of people you see on social
media because full obedience does not
always equate to popularity but full
obedience is how you stay in
relationship with god
you want to know the thoughts of god
when god gives you a command to obey
he’s giving you insight into the way
that he thinks in the way that he sees
things
and your obedience brings you closer and
closer to understanding how god
functions and operates
no wonder we end up confused when life
doesn’t go our way
because for some of us there are
instances where we weren’t obedient
so we didn’t didn’t understand the
thoughts of god in that instance
but when you become obedient you get to
say things like god i did what you asked
me to do
now help me to understand why this
didn’t work out the way that i thought
that it would
help me to understand what it is that
you saw because what you saw and what i
saw were two different things but the
one thing i know for sure is that i
built my life on obedience
and when you don’t build your life on
obedience you have to be willing to
deconstruct anything that was built
outside of obedience
so that you can build a life on
something solid
so had his influence hijacked by the
people
i want to talk for a moment
to someone who’s watching
and anytime you get ready to be obedient
it gets hijacked
that anytime you get ready to show up
in your true identity
when you get ready to fully release the
authentic nature of what you’ve been
cultivating in your relationship with
god it gets hijacked by people
people
will not always understand what happens
in your intimate relationship with god
and yet when you are unsure of who you
are and you are unsure of your equipment
what we want more than anything is we
want to have company and our discomfort
but sometimes the company we have in our
discomfort are distractions
my greatest prayer for you
is that god would deliver you from
people
because if god would deliver you from
needing the people to affirm you and
needing the people to validate you then
maybe finally you could be obedient
i’m challenged with this word myself
because i recognize there are so many
different moments in my life
where i have to be willing to lay down
this idea of approval from peop from
people
and approval and i don’t mean just
people sometimes we talk about people in
masses but let’s talk about family
members let’s talk about siblings let’s
talk about colleagues and friends and
how we can be so desperate to fit in
that we fit in with them and miss out on
our own destiny there comes a point in
your life where you decide that the only
way i can get this show on the road is
if i do it without an audience and if
you don’t mind doing this thing without
an audience then god says i could be
backstage handling everything that needs
to come apart to be a part of this stage
of your life if you don’t mind doing it
without an audience then god says then i
can step in and i can show you how to
direct yourself in the moment and i can
show you how to produce the content that
really matters but because most of us
need an audience we cannot get the show
on the road but i hear god’s saying just
as he was telling saul in this moment
that i need to know that your heart is
first from me
because god knows what is better for the
people
man saul thought that he was appeasing
the people by giving them what they
wanted
but he didn’t know that he was actually
hurting them
if you’re going to be an influencer
you have to make sure that you stay
connected to the ultimate flow
and there will be moments where you need
to question your own motives
god why am i doing this god why am i
posting this
god why am i saying this why did i say
yes to this and no to that because you
have to be willing to question your own
motives to understand if you’re still in
the flow
god’s power is going to touch the earth
through the flow
god’s power is going to touch the earth
through those he is placed in position
and if you are insecure when you are
placed in position then your influence
will be hijacked by applause
instead of being prepared to expand the
kingdom of heaven
saul couldn’t be an effective influencer
because he kept allowing the flow to be
hijacked i want to talk about as being
effective as influencers
as i mentioned earlier in this message
we are all called
to be influencers
and not in that cute how do i grow my
social media platform how do i do this
and how do i do that i’m not talking
about that my let me tell you something
i there’s no shade against people who do
this at all but i’ve never been the
person who’s like oh my gosh i just got
one more follower i just got another
follower because at the end of the day i
didn’t start preaching like i wasn’t
trying to grow my social media platform
i wasn’t trying to be anybody i was just
trying to figure out what was happening
in my life and i invited other people to
come along on the journey there has to
be something within us that says at the
end of the day i want to be effective
over being popular and we’re in a season
where we’ve got to create a counter flow
the reason why i believe god laid this
on my heart this message about becoming
an influencer
is because there is a flow in the earth
right now
man i’ve seen so many
headlines lately about depression about
suicide
about pain and trauma
racial trauma sexual traumas
there are so many different flows
happening
and i just felt so heavily in my heart
and once again maybe it’s because i’m
coming off the heels of the called
that instead of grieving the flows that
we see happening
that we could stand up and be an answer
to it
that we could say the kingdom of heaven
is at hand
and i want to talk to you about what it
means to be depressed for so long that
you don’t even remember what joy looks
like
the kingdom of heaven can come to that
the kingdom of heaven can come to our
criminal justices and the kingdom of
heaven is that here but there are so few
people who are willing to become
influencers because listen even the term
influencer has been hijacked to have
negative connotation now
the thing that god is going to use to
change the flow of the earth now has a
negative connotation where the true men
and women of god who have been called to
be the answer to the things that held
this world are too afraid to post on
social media platforms are too afraid to
testify and to give their testimony
because they don’t want to look like
they’re trying to be one of those
influencers but god says i’ve called you
to be an influencer i need you to create
that music i need you to tell your
testimony i need you to tell someone
about the goodness of god because if you
don’t break through your flow then that
means the other flows are going to
continue to have dominance in this
culture and society and you have to
become an influencer
even with the equipment that you have
or the equipment that you don’t have
everything that god has given you
he’s given you
more than enough to start it
i want to pray with you family
i want to pray for those of you who
struggle

with feeling like you don’t have enough
worth or value
to offer to anyone
man
maybe you’re here
and your thoughts about being an
influencer have been hijacked
by the idea of what are the numbers
going to be
what will people say about me
what if i don’t have what it takes what
if i backslide
what if i end up back on that same drug
maybe some oh gosh i feel this
prophetically for somebody
you feel called
but you’re so afraid of not having
permanent change
that you won’t step into the fullness of
your identity
you’re so afraid that you haven’t really
transformed oh god i feel this by faith
the greatest gift that you can give
yourself
is trusting that you have truly
transformed
instead of allowing your old history and
your past way of thinking and being to
hang over your head the greatest gift
you can give that relationship the
greatest gift that you can give your
family is believing that you have really
changed not that you’re perfect not that
you’re going to do everything the right
way but that you are self-aware enough
and you are open enough to be convicted
into change and transformation
transformation is not about perfection
it is about having enough humility to be
teachable
so teachable that the holy spirit can
say you missed this step on that one but
here’s an order step that’ll get you
there in just the same amount of time
when you walk with the lord
even when you have missteps you can
still have an ordered step
and when god orders your step god orders
your step with acceleration in mind god
says i can’t afford for you to be
delayed because i got souls connected to
your life so i’m not going to deny you
i’m going to show you how to walk around
this thing i’m going to show you how to
walk through it and to walk over it but
don’t you dare stop walking i don’t know
who you are but you stopped walking and
i’m telling you i need your flow my
daughters need your flow my children
need your flow this ministry this church
this kingdom we need your flow yes your
flow with your broken past with your
hidden issues with your struggles we
still need your flow you matter to me
and you matter to god
or you wouldn’t be seeing this
you wouldn’t be hearing it
would you dare
have the faith to believe
that you can get on the move again
oh god this feels like a moment of
surrender
this feels like a moment of dropping out
of our stagnant way of being
oh and step i just see a vision of water
rushing
i see a vision of water rushing
it’s rushing into your living room
it’s rushing into your car it’s rushing
into your office i feel like god wants
someone to no longer be stagnant i feel
like god wants somebody to finally move
again i feel like god is calling someone
out of their history he’s calling
someone out of their shame he’s calling
someone out of their insecurity because
i got a lane that only you can dominate
i got a lane that only you could feel i
got cups that need your flow there are
empty cups right now that can only be
filled by the flow of god that’s
happening down on the inside of you so
spirit of the living god break us open
as only you can do god we surrender our
lives to you we surrender our hearts our
patterns our paradigms and god we say
i’ve been stuck for too long
i’ve been unfaithful for too long
i’ve been distrusting for too long
god i’m ready to
flow again flow again
flow again flow again
flow again flow again holy spirit you
can flow again flow again grace you can
flow again flow again creativity you can
flow again flow again i’m ready to get
in the flow again god
god i thank you for every person
connected to this word
because they are connected to a flow
heaven we don’t know what you’re doing
in the earth
god we don’t know how you’re going to
show up and turn things around
but we know that you’re going to move to
do it
i don’t see that things cannot just stay
the same it’s going to happen through a
move
it’s going to happen through a flow it’s
going to happen through breakthrough and
so god we want to be in your flow so we
lay down our lives and we say god we
won’t move unless you move us our
thoughts are not your thoughts our ways
are not your ways god we need you more
than you
need us and so we lay down
our rules and restrictions

and we say any way you move me i’ll be
satisfied
god i thank you

that even as we’re watching that you’re
opening up our hearts
we’re listening god
thank you god that prophets are on the
way
that you’re not going to put my brothers
and my sisters in position
without giving them a direct line to
what you’re thinking
god i thank you that their prophets are
finding them
god i thank you that the people are not
distracting them
god i thank you that you’re only
bringing people who can surrender to the
flow of god that is on their life or to
help make their more way for the make
way for them to have more flow god i
thank you that their people are coming
to them
and that that
insecurity that brokenness that weakness
that fear that they won’t be effective
that fear that they aren’t equipped
god i thank you that you drown it in the
flow
it’s not allowed to stay
when the flow comes it sweeps it away

that the enemies they see today
they will see no longer
and it will be the flow that made the
difference
i thank you for jesus
thank you for making him who had no sin
no weakness no limitation
god i thank you that you sent jesus so
that we would have an example
of how to live in the flow
thank you jesus that you don’t mind
meeting us right where we are right now
each of us can receive a touch from you
jesus i thank you that you have put to
death any and everything that was
standing in our way
that that sin that disease
that brokenness that pain
that you’ve overcome it so that we can
be restored
i thank you that when we walk with you
jesus that we are automatically in the
flow
and so we partner with you afresh
and we say here’s an area of my life
where i got stuck and stagnant
now jesus show me how to live in the
flow in my marriage and my finances and
my art and my work
helped me to be connected to the flow
i just want to rebuke right now
the flow of
depression i rebuke it in the name of
jesus
i rebuke the flow of second guessing the
flow of doubt
the flow of anxiety and worry
the flow that tells you if you don’t do
it perfectly that you shouldn’t do it at
all i rebuke it right now in the name of
jesus
god knew we weren’t perfect when he
created us
and yet he said his grace can make up
the difference
i rebuked that
flow
that was hijacked by your trauma

i rebuke it in the name of jesus and i
speak freedom
and victory
and peace and joy and wellness
and flow
into your life
in jesus name i pray
