What do we do when the prophecy received doesn’t fit our current situation? Sometimes, routine tethers our identity; however, as believers, we can’t afford to compromise our standards nor liquefy our uniqueness. When trials and tribulations arise, we always resort to our roots. For believers, that foundation is prayer, as it is the bridge to the supernatural. teaching the last couple of years on the
Moses tabernacle and on Solomon’s Temple

Zechariah saw the angel he was troubled

shocked and fat and fear fell upon him

no powers that control the leadership of

there are no longer in captivity they
have escaped Babylon they have gone back
home they are in their motherland they
are in their homeland they are in the
land of Abraham they are in their
promised land they are in the land that
they sojourned their ancestors sojourned
in order to get back to they are in that
their a home but they are not at home
they know what it is to be captive in
Babylon to be captive in a strange place
but in many ways
they’re captive at home it is almost
like being up under house arrest
on one hand this is my house but I’m not
free I know my way around I know where
everything is I know how to get to this
place or that place I know where the
guard to get 70 years I know where the
Mount of Olives is I know where the Sea
of Galilee is I know where the Pool of
Bethesda is I know where everything is
I’m at home but I’m not at home that was
the case and to give you see we breed
words but words don’t give you the
feeling the intensity the reason I
mentioned the atmosphere of the room is
that the viewer can see what happened in
the room but there’s an atmosphere that
cannot be seen through a screen and so

your country but your country is no
longer your country because your country
is up under control by a sovereign power
the Roman Empire is my
his impact it is not secluded to going
to roll you weren’t just in the Roman
Empire because you were in Rome the
Roman Empire had colonized and reached
out and taken over territories and all
of this constituted the Roman Empire
expanded itself for miles and miles and
miles in every direction it wasn’t that
Rome was a power role was a superpower
and Rome was the seat of that power and
Caesar was the ruler of everything and
he had various people in various
positions under his control that
reported by to him that managed the
children of Israel in their own house
managed in your own house to me is a
whole different experience from being in
Babylon I expect to feel like a stranger
when I’m in a strange place but I don’t
expect to feel like a stranger in my own

I got different rules about my house I
can put up with strange people at work I

I can put up with strange people at the
mall but my house is the one place where
I don’t have to put up with strange
people and I will tell you real quick to
give up out of there because for me what
makes my house my house is not having to
tolerate just any kind of activity or
just fear
I’ve only one imagine that you were at
home but you were not at home that you
were in your country but it was not your
country that you knew which way to turn
right or left but you didn’t know how
things work I travel all the time I have
a beautiful time when I travel to other
countries are I have the the greatest
respect for other people’s culture and
their food and I’m always a student
trying to learn and but no matter how
good a time I have shot there’s
something about landing back in America
that this does something for me now I
know our country is crazy we got all
kind of problems that you don’t know
from day to day but it’s still home and
I know how it works and I know how it
operates if I have a problem I know who
to call
and if I need something I understand how
the judicial system works and how to
make it appeal and how to make a request
and how to move the dial and there’s
something comforting about landing back
where I understand how things work but
that it’s not the case in the case
nobody is certainly how things work
there’s not a day that goes by that you
don’t wake up in the morning and on one
hand and one nostril and you smell the
fresh smell of baking bread as the
bakers have opened up their shops in the
morning and on the other hand you smell
the stench of decaying flesh because
crucifixion was often and it was intense

Kings there is no sovereign authority
who loves Israel in fact Israel is a
place that nobody really wanted to be
and those who were on assignment there
were just there long enough so that they
could be promoted and perhaps go back to
Rome so that they could be at home it is
that atmosphere and so the people as it
were are trying to hold on to their
culture what is culture it’s a lot of
things
culture a lot of times is confused in
our society as ethnicity but culture is
far more complicated than ethnicity
culture is food culture is music culture
is dance culture is philosophy all of
that all of the culture is language and
they’re trying to hold on to the few
little shreds of culture they have left
they’ve lost government they’ve lost
control of power and they’re trying to
hold on to
simple things like their faith the
succession of Kings has ended and now
they’re facing the possibility of the
succession of priests I want you to
understand how important Zacharias is
because he is one of the shreds of the
culture of Israel that they are holding
to that gives them identity I like to
use this word as my word it’s not in the
dictionary isness isness they’re they’re
trying to fight for their isness their
relevance the reality they’re trying to
