today I want us to look at the Apostle
Paul he was known as sole because he had
not been converted he was very religious
very religious but he was not a
born-again Christian I like Paul though
because he was aggressive he was awful
he was bad he was murdering the Bible
uses the word murder he was killing
Christians and was going to get letters
to kill more Christians had already
killed him but he was aggressive even
though he was doing wrong he was
aggressive about it I want to tell you
something about God God loves bad people
God loves bad people because bad people
make the best good people when they get
converted bad people bad people are
focused you ever seen bad I mean they
are focused on being bad they know how
to be bad and if you never get them
saved they’ll really be good because
they’re just extreme in that way in
whichever direction they’re going and
Paul was that kind of person he was he
was on his way to get letters to kill
more Christians and suddenly Jesus
appears to him I’m talking about a fresh
vision of Jesus because then for the
first time in his life he’s not
experiencing religion he’s experiencing
an encounter with Jesus Christ and he
falls off of his horse and he’s
overwhelmed because he sees Jesus I want
you today to to hear what I’m saying
true conversion is not when you walk
down an altar and pray a prayer a
preacher leads you in it is totally
possible for people to come to the altar
and not be converted it’s possible for
people to be in church and have a
praying mother and being been around
church all of their life and be as lost
as they can it’s not until you get a V
of who Jesus really is it’s not until
you see him as he is it’s not until you
are overwhelmed by his love for you and
what he’s done for you that it
absolutely just it just overtakes you
that’s what the Bible teaches as the new
birth you must be born again not pray a
prayer not come to church there’s a
difference between being religious and
being truly converted nobody had to
follow up on him the first words out of
his mouth is when he found out who Jesus
was he said what would you have me do I
think that we’re following up on people
who never had a real conversion because
if you really get converted nobody
doesn’t have to follow up on you you may
need encouragement you may need somebody
to kind of help you alone now and then
but when you truly see Jesus and your
heart the light shines and you are
having one of those moments where he
melts your heart I’m telling you from
that day forward everything changes
that’s what the Bible teaches is true
conversion you must be born again and
when he saw Jesus he saw who he really
was God changed his name from Saul to
Paul he was given a vision for his life
and he said in the book of Acts 26 I was
not disobedient to the heavenly vision
when he saw God first John said that and
when we see him we shall be like him
when you really see God it makes you
want to become like him when you really
see Jesus it makes you want to become
like him so when people come down and
they say I prayed the prayer and they
want to go right back and do exactly
what they were doing they never were
truly converted because when you see him
you will be like him
you immediately instantly want to be
like him when you’re truly convert
I thought about the disciples in the
storm and how how it so speaks to our
lives today about vision the storm was
raging and Jesus came walking on the
water and Peter said Lord if it’s you
bid me to come and Jesus said one word
come come that’s all he said he didn’t
preach a sermon he didn’t make a bunch
of promises he didn’t prophesy he just
said come Simon Peter got out of the
boat the Bible said he fixed his eyes on
Jesus and he started doing the
impossible he started walking on the
water as long as his vision was full of
Jesus he could do what should not be
human humanly speaking possible to do
because he had vision his eyes were
fixed on Jesus and he was walking on the
water he gets halfway and he starts
sinking because he was distracted and he
started looking at the circumstances and
when he looked at the circumstances and
the conditions all around him he lost
his vision the job of the enemy is to
get your eyes off of Jesus and on to the
conditions all around you because as
long as you’re looking at Jesus and
you’re hearing him say come you can do
the impossible you can do things that
people say are not possible but the
moment that your eyes shift off of the
vision to the condition that you’re in
that’s when he began to sing
suddenly the thing that he was on top of
he began to sink in he got halfway and
began to sink because he broke his focus
off of the vision
and he began to look at the condition
all around him this is how we get
defeated he was distracted from the
vision by looking at the conditions
around him and the Bible said without a
vision the people perish it’s when you
get focused on your condition when he
started out he was doing it he was he
was seeing the vision and the vision
people with vision can do things that
other people say cannot be done but the
moment your eyes shift and begin to
focus on conditions conditions old mine
you start sinking in fear you start
sinking and worried you start sinking in
oh my god oh my god and that’s a sure
sign you’re you need a fresh vision of
who Jesus really is some of you are
afraid right now and you don’t
understand the reason here here’s here’s
something I want you to hear when you
start sinking and something used to be
on top of maybe it’s an old habit in
your life when you first saw Jesus you
are on top of that alcohol you were on
top of that drug addiction you were on
top of that problem in your life but now
you’re sinking it’s when you start
looking at the conditions and you don’t
have a fresh revelation and vision of
Jesus then suddenly you begin to sink
over what you used to be on top of you
look back over your life there were
things that God brought you through and
you didn’t even know how bad it was when
you were going through it you need a
fresh vision and he said Lord who are
you in Jesus said I’m Jesus Paul why are
you persecuting me and notice what he
said he said I’m not persecuting you I’m
persecuting them but Jesus said you’re
persecuting me I want you to understand
that if you’re with Jesus and Jesus is
with you if they’re doing it to you
they’re doing it to him he takes it
personal when somebody attacks you
because he says if you’re doing it to
them you’re doing
to me I thought about in mark chapter 8
the blind man who had no vision born
blind and notice the first thing Jesus
did to get him a vision the Bible said
Jesus took him by the hand and led him
out of the city in other words Jesus
took him out of town because sometimes
before you can help people you have to
get them out of the environment that
people have already put a preconceived
idea of who they are and all they will
ever become so Jesus this is Jesus Jesus
should be Jesus anywhere Jesus should be
able to do the miracles anywhere but the
first part of the miracle is the most
amazing thing to me he didn’t heal him
on the spot he said I’ve got to get you
out of this familiar environment this
comfort zone all of these people who
have pre pre ugh conceived ideas of who
you are and what you’re capable of in
order to give you vision I’ve got to get
you out of the city I got to get you out
of town sometimes God has to get us out
of town so to speak out of the comfort
zone out of that which which is
everybody around us the voices that
people will lock you into who you’ve
always been and so he has to get us out
of town and take us the Bible said Jesus
his hand he led him by the hand it’s
just so powerful he let him blind he
leads you out blind sometimes he’ll pull
you out of the comfort zone do you
understand that
that this is a big deal for a blind man
because a blind man likes the familiar
if you’re blind you like the familiar a
blind man knows his ten steps to the
light switch in his house he doesn’t
need a dog he doesn’t need a cane
because he knows his seven steps to the
oven and and there’s nine steps to the
bathroom in fourteen steps to the
bedroom he’s he’s very comfortable in
the familiar
and God says sometimes I’ll take you by
the hand and I’ll lead you out blind you
don’t even know where you
going you don’t know what you just he’s
just all I know is a hand is leading me
I don’t know where I’m going I don’t
understand this I’m coming out of my
comfort zone I wanted to stay there with
all the comfortable people but there’s a
hand leading you blind sometimes
sometimes God would do you like he did
Abraham Abraham had to leave his
kinfolks
and leave his country not knowing where
he was going
not knowing he just had God take him by
the hand and say come on I want you to
go with the vision I don’t want you to
be focused on the condition I’m leading
you I want to give you a vision for your
life and usually when God is going to
give you a fresh vision he will make you
go out of town he’ll make you get out of
comfortable situations and some of you
certainly not saying God brought the
divorce but if you’ve been through a
divorce
maybe you need to see it different maybe
you need to see God taking you out of
the town and saying let me help you I
know you didn’t plan on this but I know
where you are I know what you’re going
through
and my hand is with you and you may be
being led out blind and don’t know
what’s going to happen next
maybe you may died or something happen
and you don’t know Lord all I know is
there’s a hand leading you and he let
him out of town this was Jesus but
evidently there was something in the
town that was holding that man back
sometimes you have to be led out
sometimes like this blind man the
scripture said that he was willing to
leave the comfortable
what if here to loved his town more than
he loved the vision God had for him you
have to be willing to move when God says
move see a lot of people who think that
you’re supposed to see and know
everything before you step out and the
truth is sometimes he leads you out
blind
and as the man went he started getting
his sight and when he got him out of the
town Jesus laid his hands on him spit in
his eyes spit in his eyes and laid his
hands on him and prayed for him and said
what do you see and the Bible said the
man said I see men walking as trees the
first touch gave him better vision now
if you didn’t have any vision and
suddenly you’re seeing men the size of
trees you that’s good news that’s better
and that’s where most of us would have
stopped because I believe we stop there
we settle for better and don’t go on the
best we we settle for a dim vision when
God wants to bring a clear vision to our
life and it’s not as bad as it used to
be so I think I’ll just find me a
comfortable place and settle here but
then Jesus when he recognized when this
man recognized that you know it’s better
but it’s not as good as it could be this
is not it this is not all that has to
get in your spirit for God to give you
the progression of a vision because if
you’ve settled for what you have and you
say this is it I’m comfortable and I’m
happy here and I don’t want God to take
me anywhere else then that’s all you’ll
ever have he led him the scripture said
he prayed for him he had a dim vision
and then he laid his hands on him again
he touched him a second time I want you
to understand today that God has a
second touch we settle for better and we
give up best but he touched him again I
don’t want to bring you halfway God is
saying and stop
I want to touch you again I don’t want
you to get 250 and think the vision is
over a 40 or 30 and think that the great
days of you could be forfeiting the best
years of your life and the best part of
the vision that I have for your life
because you settled for better when I
want to touch your eyes again and give
you a fresh new vision for this season
in your life and the scripture said
something in his heart said man things
are better I see me in walking as trees
but this is not it somebody needs to say
in your spirit today Lord touch me again
you touched me before and you gave me an
a vision and now I’m at this place and
that season is over touch my eyes again
with a fresh clear vision and a fresh
new vision of who you are I’m been
looking and focusing on conditions and
lost my vision somebody say this is not
it if you hold on to something as if it
is it you’ll miss the next step God has
for you why are you making a stepping
stone your peak God didn’t mean for you
to be at 40 and peaked out that’s not
the kind of God we have and all along
you have to keep coming back to him and
say touch me again
Lord clear this vision again show me now
this in this season give me vision for
this season give me insight for this
season leave me again
touch me again give me a vision for my
life again touch me again I want to see
it reassess the second half of your life
some of you young people need to get the
first touch in this service you need to
have an Apostle Paul Vision encounter
transformation conversion this morning
you need to see
Jesus and when you really see him it’s
so overwhelms you that you want to be
like him and nobody doesn’t have to beg
you to live right when I really got
saved I remember when it happened to me
on a Sunday night they were singing an
old hymn and all my friends were there
and we all knew what I did and I all
knew what they were doing and we had our
little dirty secrets and everybody was
living in Rome but all of the sudden in
that service while that old hymn was
being sung something started happening
to me it was my road to Damascus
experience I began to see Jesus as my
brother was singing at the cross and
something melted my heart
tears started streaming down my face I
didn’t care about my friends sitting all
around me I didn’t even wait on the
preacher to give the article I felt like
I was going to die if I didn’t get to
that altar I walked down the aisle in
the middle of the song tears streaming
down my face I told him in the early
morning service our Usher’s would taser
somebody who tried to do that but I
didn’t wait on an altar call I walked
down fell to my knees began weeping
because I saw Jesus and I wanted to be
like him
and I never looked back I never looked
back nobody had to follow up on me
nobody had to disciple me when I saw him
I wanted to be like him and unless you
have that kind of conversion you you
have a religious experience but when you
truly get converted notice the first
words out of Paul’s mouth what would you
have me do I’ll do anything you want me
to do oh Jesus what do you want me to do
when you truly get converted you you die
you say I’ll give up anything anybody
any hold Jesus I see you on Calvary I
see the love I see the grace old Jesus
what would you have me do we need a
fresh vision of Jesus again where our
lives are not consumed with ourselves
but Jesus touch me again give me a fresh
vision who you are again and then I’ll
see myself as I’m supposed to see myself
and he said touch me again Jesus touched
him again suddenly his eyes were cleared
and he saw where he was going what he
was to do my prayer for you this morning
is so simple this message is so simple
but all along and your walk with God you
need him to touch your vision because I
just sensed in prayer this week that
people are people have refocused their
attention in many cases on their
conditions and they’re starting to sink
in stuff they used to be on top of and
the Lord told me to tell you you need to
refocus your vision back on him because
he is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that you could ask dream or
I’m so glad you’re listening to this
message today and I don’t believe it’s
by chance I remember when you know God
spoke to my heart many many many years
ago about coming on television and he
said I’m going to give you Kingdom
connections and that’s where our little
name of our program came from and I
believe that you’re fulfilling that
prophecy you are a kingdom connection
and you were supposed to hear this
message today and I want to pray for
your father in the name of Jesus I ask
you to touch that person watching me
today that really needs your
encouragement that really needs your
healing and your power and your help and
your spirit to speak to them again I
know what it’s like to just need to know
and hear that God is still with me and
God is still for me and God still has
great things in my life coming and I
just speak that over this person’s life
right now you know who they are you hold
them in the palm of your hand and lord I
praise you for what you’re going to do
in their life and in their future and if

don’t know Jesus as your Savior just
pray a quick prayer right where you are
say Lord Jesus I give you my life I need
you I turn everything over to you it’s
where it belongs I can’t carry these
burdens alone I need you Jesus to be my
Savior amen and amen
