were there when the earthquake hit we
were there on the ground and built a
hundred homes and of course we built a
food distribution center and over
270,000 meals a month this is ongoing we
didn’t start it because of a hurricane
that named Matthew that recently hit but
we’ve been there on the ground daily and
on a monthly basis for many years over
ten years now
and never has your support to help us
been more vital as a matter of fact
there are people who are devastated by
this hurricane that we are there on the
ground with the resources the beautiful
warehouse that we built the trucks that
we put on the ground the food
distribution center it’s all ready to go
we just need your help in this effort
and I’m asking you today to do something
unusual I’m asking you to do something
today beyond the norm maybe you can give
an extraordinary gift to help us I
promise you we’re gonna reach out and
feed the hungry and help the broken and
the poor there in the nation of Haiti we
were doing it before the hurricane we
will be doing it after the hurricane
it’s our heart and I want you to be a
part I believe God has strategically put
us there so that we can be a blessing in
their time of need and I can tell you
that if you give God will turn around
and bless you he pronounces blessings
upon people who give to the poor help us
give life give life speak life to so
many hurting people in Haiti today thank

who’s sow seed and helps us feed the

been amazing well yeah it’s just great
putting all of the different stories you
read about it just makes them come so my
life because you’re seeing actual places
you know stories that you read become
alive and so it’s amazing can you
believe that you’re standing in
Jerusalem it’s crazy
and he’s about to preach in Jerusalem
would you give a warm welcome to pastor

god is good isn’t he he’s an awesome I
want to share a story of Elijah and
Elijah today because it was it’s
something that I loved this story it
stirs my heart and for sake of time I’m
gonna sort of just give you a quick
synopsis of the story in that and it’s
it starts I want to start from first
Kings but we visited it was one of the
sites that we visited got me thinking
about it Mount Carmel and and we know
the story of of what happens there if
you’re familiar with it in in in first
Kings where Elijah cools down it calls
down fire from heaven in this showdown
against the prophets of Baal on Mount
Carmel we visited that in some of these
different places but as the story goes
on what happens is Elijah he escapes
from Queen Jezebel and the story says
that Elijah after he she’s got escaped
Queen Jezebel he goes down the road and
and I love what happens in the story
because it says that he goes down the
road and then he sees this guy Elijah
and the Bible says that Elijah is there
and it says that he’s in the field and
and he’s plowing it says he’s on the
plow on it says he has twelve oxen in
front of him and and he’s plowing and if
you know the story Elisha goes up to
Elisha and he says he puts his cloak on
a lie on unlife shut and then the story
says that that he goes off and and
Elisha takes off after him and and
further down if you follow the story it
goes into in the second Kings and in the
second chapter of 2nd Kings we know the
story of where Elijah gets taken up to
heaven you know the story and before
Elijah gets taken up to heaven he talks
to Elijah and he asks Elijah what can I
do for you and Elijah says this amazing
thing Elijah says to him he says I want
a double portion of your anointing and
every time I read that it stirs my heart
I love the boldness of this guy I love
that he just steps up to the plate and
says forget just giving me what you have
I want twice what you have
and and we know that the scripture says
in Joel it talks about in the last days
that I will pour out my spirit and and I
wanted to just share a little bit about
this story and take some things out of
this story and I feel like it’s going to
impact some people here today I love
that this story that Elijah in counts it
has this in County encounters Elijah and
Elijah is not in church when he throws
when Elijah puts his cloak on a lot
Elisha puts his cloak on Elijah Elijah
is not in church he’s not in Bible
College he’s not being trained to be a
pastor or trained to be a prophet of
trained to be a preacher he’s just a
regular dude in the workplace he’s just
a regular guy just doing a regular thing
but then the obvious opportunity for a
greater anointing comes upon him and I
believe that what God wants to do in
these last days when we talk about him
pouring out his spirit I believe he
wants to pour out his spirit as he says
on all flesh that it wouldn’t be that
the work that I believe God wants to do
he’s not going to do it just through the
preachers and just through the pastors
but just he’s gonna do it actually
through regular people that make a
decision to say you know what I want a
touch of God for my life is great for
the past that I haven’t and it’s great
for the preacher to have it but I’m bold
enough to step up and say you know what
I want a double portion for me for my
life and and grab a hold of it and what
I love about Elijah because understand
that in this moment he hadn’t received
the double portion yet it was just an
opportunity Elijah comes and I lied to
puts his cloak upon Elijah as if to say
this this is an opportunity for more if
you’ll come with me and look at Elijah’s
response it says in the story that
Elijah it says that he ran down he ran
after Elijah and that’s stirred my heart
and I thought how many of us how often
do we find ourself running down the
things of God chasing down for more of
God not saying God you know would you
just come and just meet me where
but I’m gonna run you down I want to
chase down the presence of God I want to
I want to drop what I’m doing and I want
to chase after the things of God he
recognized that there was an opportunity
he got a touch through the quote being
put on em but he recognized this is a
touch I don’t just want to touch I want
to go to the source and I want more than
just what I experience and so they go
and I’m sort of setting it up for it for
you a little bit because I actually want
to give you three things if you look in
the Bible and one of the reasons I
wanted to talk about these stories is
because we got to visit some of these
places and as I was saying earlier it
became a life to me the Bible says that
Elijah and Elijah further on it in 2nd
Kings they they go on this journey and
and it’s actually funny to read because
throughout the journey Elijah is is sort
of staying with Elijah and it’s almost
like Elijah starts getting a bit
bothered by him if you read the story
Elijah is likely he’s almost like Elijah
Elijah’s like that little brother or
sister you can’t get rid of you know
that your mom says you have to take with
you and you’re like listen I don’t want
to it’s almost like that and Elijah says
to Elijah listen listen bro stay here so
good appreciate you cool thanks for your
help but I’m good I’m good stay stay
here and he goes any of you and if you
read the story and you go and look at it
he actually says it to him three times
he says I’m good appreciate you they
throw your help it’s been good hang in
but but you stay here I’m gonna go and
every single time he says this to him
Elijah says no no no I’m not staying
here I want more and what I want to do
is I want to go through real real
quickly I want to go through three
things that you have to go to go through
before you can reach that double portia
before you receive that double portion
in the first place that they went
through geographically that’s the place
called Gilgal and in in in Gilgal is
actually the place in Joshua 5 where
you’ll know it was the circumcision well
it was it was the cutting away of the
old in order to set yourself up for a
double portion there has to be first a
separation
I’ve encountered different people in
church that when you preach on a double
portion people say I want that I want
more of God but I don’t want to let go
of my old life I don’t want to go
through a breaking away I still want
yeah I don’t want I want the next thing
God has for me but I don’t want to let
go of what I have now do you know what
I’m talking about it’s it’s getting to
that place of of separating where the
Bible says that we have to flee 2nd
Timothy it says that we have to flee
from what’s evil and cling to what is
good and one of the reasons I think
people soften miss out on on that double
portion that God has for his we’re
trying to hang on to all the different
things that we want to take with us we
want to live this way but we want to
walk in this power we still want to act
like this and talk like this and hang
out with these people but what we sort
of want some of this and and some of
that and we sort of it’s it’s it’s
called double mindedness the Bible talks
in revelation about being hot or cold
you know that you know the verses says
be the heart or cold if you’re lukewarm
if you’re caught in the middle
got this old spits you out of my mouth
if you want to get out gets itchy if you
want to set yourself up for that double
portion you’ve got to go through that
place of separation and the second place
that that it says that he comes to is
the place of befell we know the place of
Beth Ellen and the word beth-el actually
means the house of God in Genesis 22
8:28 it’s a place of beth-el it’s it’s
the house of God where Jacob has that
encounter with God after he’s after he’s
run from his brother Esau he has that
encounter with God where he sees that
vision you know there that the staircase
going up to heaven and all of that stuff
and what this talks about is to me in
this word beth-el house of God this
speaks to me I as a place of a place of
transformation if you will allow God to
come in and and transform you in and get
inside and deal with the junk and and
deal with the mark I think so often we
miss out on walking in the fullness of
what God has for us
because we’re so busy trying to come to
him with everything right
and in order you know we’re trying to
present this this pretty picture God God
loves dealing with our muck and dealing
with our junk and just getting in the
transforming us but he can only work
with the things that we give him and I
feel tit to say that and encourage
someone if you’re watching and then if
you’re watching that the program don’t
don’t get caught in the routine of just
just going day to day just reading the
scripture just day to day to tick a box
and just saying a prayer to just tick a
box and so I’ve done my quiet time take
moment take a moment and say Holy Spirit
would you come and would you begin to
transform me would you get into my heart
and invade my spirit and invade might
start to shape me start to rattle the
cage start to mold me start to prepare
me for the great things that I know that
you have for me because if you will
allow him to transform you you position
yourself to be set up for a double
portion of his anointing he won’t and
trust you with a double portion until he
knows that you’re in that place we said
God mold me God shaped me God
transformed me it’s a it’s a powerful
thing when we say God would you come in
would you transform me would you would
you get in my life would you do a work
in me that that molds me and shapes me I
want to walk away different I love the
story in acts it’s in acts acts 8 I
think it is where it’s the story of
Peter and John and the Bible says that
the Peter and John after the outpouring
of the Holy Spirit which happened it’s
not far from where we are right here in
in the upper room and after the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit the Holy
Spirit came and they encountered him and
these guys just went to the City Square
is’s and they started to preach they
didn’t wait for a pulpit or or a stage
or church service these dudes just were
so full of something that they just went
out and started to just Sharon and the
Bible says that that the rulers didn’t
like it and and so they gather then they
put them in prison and they put them
before the court and and in accident he
talks about that they’re charged before
the court and the court begins to
question them
and ask them questions and they stand up
and the Bible says that they talked with
such authority and it says that these
men these rulers and the court looked at
these men and the wording in taxes that
looked at them and it said they
recognized them as having been with
Jesus and that chat that stirs my heart
because I want to I want to ask you this
question when you finished when you’ve
left church and you go back to work do
people know where you’ve been when you
when is all finished and when it’s all
done and and when it’s all over and you
go to work places there being such a
transformation that’s taking place so
people can look at you and say I don’t
know where you’ve been I don’t know
what’s been going on but there’s
something different about you you’re not
the same person that you were when I saw
you before that’s what the Holy Spirit
will do if we get to that place where we
say God would you transform me would you
mold me would you shape me and the last
place as I begin to close that he had to
go through remember as I said each time
he went through there and Elijah said to
all I should stay here and by wife she
kept going through he kept and he comes
to that last place which this where this
happened this was in actually in Jericho
which again is somewhere that that we
visited on this trip Jericho was the
first battle that they went through in
order to occupy and take that promised
land and once we go through that that
place of separation then we go through
that place of transformation I believe
and the way I sort of word it is these
we’re going to get to a place of
occupation where we know what it is to
actually occupy things that God has
called us to walk in I think we have too
many Christians that know what it is to
visit the things of God but don’t know
what it is to occupy the things of God
see that’s what separated the spies and
that’s what separated that the spies
that went out there were spies that were
sending to the land remember and they
came back with grapes and they came back
and but they didn’t all go in and occupy
it they all got a chance to visit it too
many Chris
have visited breakthrough but that I
live in breakthrough too many Christians
I think visit blessing I don’t want to I
don’t want to just visit blessing do you
know no me just every now and then I
want to know what it is to be blessed to
be standing in blessing knowing that
whether I have money or not I know what
it is to be blessed we have to
understand what it is to to have that to
occupy land God his territory that he
has called you to walk in and it’ll set
you up for that double portion God said
to Joshua everywhere that you set your
foot I’m gonna give it to you and I
believe God’s speaking to some people I
believe God’s speaking to some mums and
dads that are watching here today and
what you you’re praying for your family
and and I dare you to start to pray some
bold prayers over your family and to get
up and and I’ve done this before I
remember doing outreaches into schools
and and I remember we started going into
high schools and started praying for
opportunities to to share things of God
and and schools were closed they
wouldn’t let us come in they wouldn’t
let us pray they wouldn’t let us hang
out with kids there was no opportunities
and I remember I would go to these
schools at nighttime
don’t tell anyone because I’m pretty
sure it’s illegal I would go there at at
nighttime and it would be clocked up it
would be like midnight and I’d climb the
fence at the school and I’d get on to
the football ground of the school where
the sight and then around that around
whether that play equipment was
somewhere the kids would hang out and I
would have worship in my headphones and
I remember I would walk around the
school because I remember reading where
God said to Joshua everywhere you set
your foot
I’ll give it to you and I was dumb and
crazy enough to take it literally I said
you know what if God’s called me to take
it then I’m gonna put my foot literally
on it and I’m gonna start walking and
then little bit by little bit the more I
did it the more God opened up doors into
schools and and I say that to you
because I feel like God’s speaking to
some parents and you’re claiming you you
want to claim victory over your family I
dare you to walk into your kids bedrooms
and say God give me this ground I did a
walk into your living
they say God give me this ground God
give me this territory god I’m knocking
on your door Saint give me this
territory I know what it is to be a
backslidden kid to come home at 7:00
a.m. 8:00 a.m. after being out all night
and I would walk into my bedroom and I
would see a little reflection of a
little dot on my door and I would go to
my bed and I would see this little
little it would look like it was wet it
looked like this little wet spot on my
door and then there was a little wet
spot on my bed and I’m like what and
then I suddenly clicked and I marched
into my mum’s room I said stop putting
oil on my door and stop putting it on my
bed and it used to frustrate me then but
now I look back and I see I had set me
up for a double portion of God’s
anointing and I want to tell you if you
want to walk in what God has for you
don’t be afraid to take ground and to
take territory in order to take it
understand it was that fight it was a
fight why are you going through a battle
right now because you’re fighting for
territory because I understand what my
parents fought for because because
Elisha was willing to say you know what
I’m going through I’m gonna go through
this place of separation now I’m gonna
go through this place of Revelation of
transformation and now I’m going through
this place of occupation I know what it
needs to take around then he was set up
where he needed to be in the place where
if he hadn’t stopped at one of those
Elisha would have got to where he was
about to get taken to heaven attend and
he’s not there but because he went
through that he was right where he
needed to be and all he needed to do
when Elisha looked at him and said what
do you want
this dude was bold enough to say you
know what I don’t want just what you’ve
got give me double give me boy give me
that one once you have and I believe God
is staring people and
to people what you’re going through
you’re just going through cuz God is
setting you up because he’s got a place
for his position for you to be at the
right time as part of his purpose and
part of his plan for your life so that
you can walk in a double portion of
God’s anointing greater than he could
possibly ask or imagine and I believe
that for your life and and I want to
pray real quickly and I and I want to
encourage people and and and and what I
just feel God stirring on my heart ease
these people that you feel like you’re
going through it and you feel like it’s
a battle and you feel like it’s a fight
you’ve got to understand that God’s
doing a work in the middle of the battle
as James tells us that we’re to consider
it pure joy when we face trials and
struggles of many times God’s setting
you up and I want to pray for some
people and and and and pray for some
people that perhaps are here right now
in this studio as we’re doing this but
also those people that are watching
you’re in your living room and you’re
going through some things and you’re
going through some challenge God’s
setting you up for a double portion and
I feel it because as I’m talking about I
feel that I feel an excitement I feel
stirred in my heart I get excited
because I know the great things that he
has for you and I want to pray right now
look god we lift up every person look
like that feels like they’re going
through some challenges feels like
they’re facing some battles feels like
there’s a bit of a fight that they’re
walking through at the moment a week I
pray covering over them now with the
blood of Jesus look god I declare the
great things that you have in store for
them god I thank you that you’re molding
them and that you’re shaping and God I
pray for this battle that they’re going
through Lord I ask that you would give
them peace look god I pray I thank you
for the peace that surpasses all of our
understanding God I thank you Father God
for peace in the middle of the fire
peace in the middle of the battle and
god I pray that their faith would be
stirred in knowing that you got great
things for them that you they’re just
going through it cuz you’re stirring it
up in them and expectation
and a faith at the amazing things that
you have for them and the double portion
anointing that you’re going to pour out
them and we declare it right now in
Jesus Christ’s name Amen come on if you
believe that believe every person
watching this program you know Jesus
said occupy until I come and there is a
there is a spirit of victory I believe
that it’s coming from Jerusalem to your
life what a powerful message we receive
it how many of you receive it I know you
do at home in closing we want to
encourage you right where you are if you
don’t know Jesus Christ as your Savior
just invite him in just pray that prayer
say Jesus I receive you as my savior I
give you my life and just like he
transformed been transformed me
transformed all these people he’s going
to do it for you just just say that just
say Jesus I receive you as my savior
wash my sins in your blood I believe in
you in Jesus name
I am safe now thank him for that and
praise him for that and tell somebody
the matter of fact we’d love to hear
from you in conclusion I want to
encourage you to join us on this three
day fast for America we’re fasting and
praying and voting and we’re calling the
church to action we cannot be silent in
such a critical time and we’re praying
for Jerusalem praying for the Peace of
Jerusalem praying for this nation and
praying for America and that fast will
be no weapon November the 6th the 7th
and the 8th and so go online and say yes
we’re gonna fast and pray with you and I
believe that when we pray we fast and
then we speak up we vote we vote we can
see that occupation that occupation of
our land I want America to be blessed
for my children and my children’s
children
