someone said to me recently a dear
friend said that you know what happens
when I am praying you know I’m seeking
God I’m praying but I don’t hear
anything I feel like a jilted girlfriend
mm-hmm and I don’t seem to be getting an
answer what do I do
how do I respond to that yeah well
sometimes a lot of you know if that’s a
difficult question because it comes back
down a lot of times to believing that
our God is who he says he is and that he
will do what he says that he will do and
a lot of times you were right we were
not hearing we’re not seeing but you’ve
maybe heard this before when we can’t
trace his hand we have to trust his
heart we have to believe that that when
he says he hears us when he prays which
when we pray which is Micah 7 7 that
says he hears us when we pray we have to
Bank our bottom dollar on that and if
those are the kinds of verses that we
need to post to remind ourself that we
are not the jilted girlfriend
but that he is our husband it says and
that he cares and he loves for us and we
need to post those scripture verses that
remind us of his great tender care and
love for us because this is what we have
to see to that see it is the enemy’s
goal to also cause you to feel so much
doubt and discouragement that you’ll
stop using the weapon that he knows will
thwart his progress in your life so if
he can get you thinking you’re the
jilted girlfriend so why waste time
because your prayers are just bouncing
off the ceiling anyway he knows you’ll
stop praying that’s exactly what he was
after but if you can be and I can be
responsible for the boosting of our own
spiritual morale so to speak by allowing
the Holy Spirit the opportunity to
minister to us through the word which
he’s already given to us by posting
those scriptures that are his promises
for us straight from the heart of God
then then we’ll keep our by God’s grace
we will keep our morale boosted enough
spiritually to be able to remember that
that God hears that he’s always working
and the Book of Daniel Daniel prays and
nothing nothing and an angel finally
comes and says you need to know that the
very first moment you uttered the prayer
there was a demonic attack in the
heavenlies that was pushing back the
answer that God dispensed the moment you
uttered the prayer but there was a war
in the heavenlies to keep that
response from being flushed out in the
physical realm and if you want to stop
praying what would have happened is that
the demonic forces would would have been
more victorious and successful in their
effort to stop the answer from coming to
fruition it’s not that God didn’t answer
it’s that there is a war to keep the
answer from coming to you yeah and so
when we pray we have to remember that
he’s God is doing something it just
might take a minute for the answer to
come to you and so in prayer we push
back the hand of the enemy and we say
look I want my answer and I wanted in my
home I wanted in my marriage I wanted in
my own heart I wanted in my own life and
prayer is the key that God has given us
to unlock the door of his power and see
it unleashed in our lives
