In this video, Pastor Bill Johnson shares the story of one of his favorite miracles. He expects God to heal those who have a terminal illness and other ailments but in this particular miracle he learned about the goodness of God in a profound way.

one of the questions
i’m asked uh the most often is what is
my
favorite miracle what’s the the most
significant miracle i’ve ever seen
and i’ve seen some pretty incredible
things i i i’m so glad that i get to see
stuff i get to see
you know tumors open and and you know
bones that are deformed
literally dissolve or god replace uh
metal parts with the original parts and
it’s just an extreme list that’s just
great fun
but uh there’s one miracle that stands
out to me
that for me is so significant i’ll tell
you why i was up in uh one of the
northern states in
in the united states and we had this
conference
and we had some pretty extraordinary
things happened that week
one of them was a woman with uh leukemia
she was healed she was healed that week
it’s a life and death situation she came
she received prayer she went back to the
doctor
and the leukemia is gone all the blood
levels are normal god did a miracle
if i’m going to choose a miracle it’s
going to be life and death and
i’m going to choose one of those but the
one that impacted me the most
was a woman had a little finger that was
broken she broke it
and when it grew back it grew back
crooked and
but it didn’t hurt there was no pain i
hate pain so i’m
always looking for those who are in pain
it didn’t hurt and she had full use of
it
there was no loss of use and the lord
healed it he actually took that crooked
finger and he straightened it
i realize this doesn’t rate high for a
lot of folks on extraordinary miracles
but it
impacted me the most for this reason i
expect him to heal the cancer
i do i expect i expect that torment on
people’s lives
to be broken off for them to be fully
restored why
because that’s that’s god’s heart of
compassion for people i believe that
but i didn’t expect a finger that
doesn’t hurt
and didn’t lack use or movement for him
to heal that why would he heal it what’s
the purpose
i finally discovered if it matters to
you it matters to him
that miracle shows me
what the father is like in some ways
more than any other
what kind of god is this we serve that
would so delight in an individual that
he would give them
a miracle that for many
would seem to be a waste of effort and
yet it was his
delight in a daughter to restore finger
make it straight that in many ways
is my favorite miracle
