the divine institution of civil
government
we’ve already looked at what civil
government is supposed to do
according to scripture civil government
is to maintain a safe and just
and righteous and compassionately
responsible environment
for freedom to flourish freedom is to be
broad
maximizing the good things that god has
given
restrictions are to be limited so as not
to illegitimately infringe
on divinely ordained freedom
and penalties ought to be severe
to discourage the abuse of freedom
in other words civil government as
ordained by god is to
is to maintain an orderly society
so that people can live out
their divinely ordained reason for being
we’ve seen how that affects life
life in the womb and life to the tomb
maintaining the dignity of life before
birth
and the dignity and the ordained
length of life given by god
after birth in a way that honors
the image of god
so the next natural thing when it comes
to
the role of civil government is its
relationship to
the family i remember when we were on
vacation
when my kids were small and we went to
disneyland
in california we were enjoying the
sights
and sounds of the magic kingdom
but somewhere between fantasyland and
tomorrowland
we lost sight of my youngest son
jonathan
we couldn’t find him and panic set in
because
he had been disconnected from the family
we looked for an extended length of time
and
there were gobs of people and we called
out we cried out
and jonathan was nowhere to be found
we then went to security to say please
help us
find our lost son after
a while he was located and he had become
entranced by
one of the features in disneyland
that had drawn him away from his family
you see he allowed one kingdom the magic
kingdom
he allowed one kingdom the kingdom
that had been established by disneyland
to distract him from his family
he allowed an illegitimate distraction
because while the magic kingdom had a
role the role was
never to entice him away from his mother
and father
and siblings today we’re living
with kingdoms in conflict where there
are kingdoms that are
ripping at the fabric of the family
the family is the first institution
established by god that would serve as
the foundation
for the well-being of society and
civilization
like pouring a foundation in a building
will determine the stability of what you
build on it
when god established the family
he was establishing the foundation upon
which
civilization and society would be
ordered and properly
built when the foundation of the family
is shaken cracked and broken
the society that rests upon it
will be in grave danger
as it has been said i repeat
the saga of a nation is the saga
of its families written large whoever
owns the family owns
the future when the family structure
breaks down
all manner of calamity and chaos
enter into society
when the family breaks down crime is
going to go
up when the family breaks down
poverty is going to go up when the
family breaks down
abuse is going to go up when the family
is misdefined
confusion is going to set in
it is the role of civil government
to promote and to protect
the family as god created it to be let
me say that again
it is the singular role of civil
government when it comes to the family
to promote and protect
the family as god created it
to be when wrong definitions
or false definitions or undermining
definitions
take place in the civil society
that bucks against the creation of god
when it comes to family you can bet your
bottom dollar
that you’re going to see the devolution
of society
because government has taken a role
it was never assigned to take or
it is decided to replace
the structure of the family
for example in isaiah chapter 3
when god’s definition of the family got
replaced
the prophet isaiah talks about the chaos
that entered into society he says when
god was removed from
society in verse
12 he says oh my people their presses
are children
women rule over them oh my people
those who guide you lead you astray and
confuse the direction of your path
he says in verse 23 your men will fall
by the sword
and your mighty ones in battle
he says when the structure of the family
got confused
because the family was no longer owned
by god
it was owned by other kingdoms that had
intervened
the children became rebellious women
abandoned their biblical role
in life and family men became passive
and weak
and the structures of society were
collapsing
and failing when you look at genesis
chapter 6 the first seven verses
the evil breakdown of the family
he says as men became demonized
and married women and they held had
children
it says violence broke out in all the
earth
god regretted that he made man and said
in verse seven after he finishes
finishes the first sixth verse
i will blot out man whom i have created
from the face of the earth god destroys
all of humanity with the flood
because the family became ruined
society began to devolve and he had to
start all over again
but how did he start all over again
genesis 6
tells us he started all over again
with a family he told noah
i’m bringing the flood verse 17. but i’m
going to establish my covenant verse 18
and you’re going to enter the ark with
your sons your wife
your son’s wives with you and every
living thing
on the of flesh you shall bring two of
every kind into the ark
to keep them alive for you they shall be
male and female
so god had to start all over again and
guess what he did
with the family what i’m trying to tell
you is that the family
is not a small deal the breakdown of the
family is not an inconsequential
situation our whole nation
is banking on the family surviving but
when
and if the government works against
the family being what god created the
family to be
and it begins to undermine the created
the creator’s purpose
don’t expect your neighborhoods to be
healed
don’t expect your communities to be in
order
don’t expect crime to decrease don’t ex
don’t expect there to be civility in the
marketplace
why because the family structure which
is to set
the pace for which society has been
created
and to be built has failed
so that raises a question doesn’t it
what is the purpose of the family
how did we get it and what is it
designed to do
well let me make a major point here
government does not own the family
government does not own the fam
government has no children
god owns the family and he owns it
by creative fiat in other words
he decided that it would be he decided
why it would be he decided how it would
be and he
only warrants it when you use it
as he created it to be
you know you buy a product from the
store
you buy an appliance let’s say and they
give you a manufacturer’s
warranty now what the manufacturer is
saying is i’m a stand behind the product
this product will do what i made it to
do
if you use it like i made it to be used
however you can void the warranty
if you take the appliance and do with it
other than
what it was created to do and to be
you will discover that the appliance is
no longer under warranty
and you are on your own god has
warranted
society to work by virtue of the family
structure
when you decide when government decides
that the family should be can be ought
to be
even when the church decides we’ll talk
about that next week
that the family is something other than
what god created it to be you lose the
warranty
and when you lose the warranty you’re no
longer covered
because god is only going to stand by
the product that he created
based on the reason why he created it
so let’s start with the creation of the
family because
government needs to know that if it’s to
promote and protect
the family that’s owned by god not by
government
god said when he entered when he brought
about creation
in genesis chapter 1 that he was going
to make man
in his own image
he said verse 26
he said let us make man in our own image
and our likeness
and he says he’s going to do that in
male and female verse 27.
so he lays out the principle for the
family structure that would be a male
that would be a female he says i want
them to be
fruitful and to multiply
he says i want them to expand verse
28. and then he says i want them to rule
so he gives three reasons why he made
the family
first of all reflection he says
let’s make them in our own image
in other words let’s make it so it looks
like
us now what does that mean
the family is supposed to mirror god
let’s make it in our own male and female
and he’s going to perform a wedding here
in a minute
but let’s let’s do it male and female
and let’s make the unit like us
so let me tell you what god is like
there’s one god composed of three
co-equal persons
who is one in essence while distinct in
personality the father’s not the son the
son is not the spirit
but they all make up the one god head
like a pretzel with three holes
first hole is not the second hole the
second hole is not the third hole but
they all tie together by the same dough
when god explained how he would enter
history
the father sent the son the son left the
son sent the spirit
so that there would be this progression
of the unit of the
theistic family in heaven manifesting
itself on earth
so we shouldn’t be surprised god created
adam went inside of adam out of adam
came eve
and then out of eve comes a baby and
they make a family
unit because the family unit is supposed
to
reflect the triune god even our
government has tried to reflect the
triune
god with the three three
areas of government there’s judicial
there’s legislative
and there’s executive that’s a
trinitarian
set up the difference is the biblical
trinity
always acts in unity there is no
conflict but the idea of the family
was to mirror god not just
to be happy i’ll say more about that in
a moment
but let me just tell you he said he
would bless them
based on them fulfilling why he created
family not just because they wanted a
family
the second thing he says is that i want
you to
replicate he says be fruitful
and multiply now you have to understand
that god is a generational god
but what exactly is the purpose of
children multiplication of a family
i want you to spread my image
worldwide fill the earth with my image
through family multiple
multiplying by their fruitfulness
through the production of children
children are not just so you and i can
have a look alike
children are so the image of god can be
replicated throughout the culture
and throughout the world and they have
families and we
replicate some more and then he gives
the third reason i want you to rule
that is to exercise my rule through
families on the earth so reflection
replication and ruling
so what should the government be
protecting since that’s what god said
the government is here to do the
government is to protect
it is to protect the image of god in
family
it is to protect the replication of
children from
family and it is to recognize and
authorize and protect
the sovereignty of families to be
families without interfering with
families
as long as they are being the kind of
family they were created to be
so to promote and to protect family
as god created them to be now
having understood this god began to set
a
process for the establishment of
families
stay with me here he started with
a single person he didn’t start with a
marriage he started with a single person
why because he wanted a single person to
be complete with him
until they became a married person
single doesn’t just mean unmarried in
god’s economy
single means complete until marriage
if you get two incomplete singles to
come together you just
started an incomplete marriage god never
meant for a single
that is an unmarried person to be
incomplete
you are to come be complete under god
fulfilling your divinely
designed purpose for reason until god
brings marriage
now when sin entered the world then
divorce entered and death entered
because it was never god’s plan that
there would be single people for life
that’s why he said male and female
everybody was supposed to be hooked up
but the reason why that hasn’t taken
place is evil has entered the world and
destroyed
what god had in mind when he established
mankind
to have families in the first place to
replicate after themselves
so god created a man from man he created
a woman
and then guess what he brought the woman
to the man
and performed the first wedding why
because marriage is supposed to be
the first step of establishing new
family
under god which was why god was the
first
justice of the peace so since god
is the first justice of the peace which
is why most folk get married
in church god wants to say what the
marriage is supposed to be
what the family is supposed to be and
the job of the government
is to support that and to
protect that not redefine that
we’re living in a day when government
thinks it owns the family
and therefore can define marriage
they’ve come up with all kinds of
prescriptions for marriage
that has absolutely nothing to do with
what god had in mind
and we’ve done the same thing we’ve got
people cohabitating
like they’re in a a car dealership
wanting to take a test drive
before they purchase the vehicle as
though that’s what god ordained
when god ordained marriage you married
to date you don’t just date to play
around and fool around you
you you married to enter into a lifetime
commitment
underneath god he prescribes what the
husband is supposed to be what the man
is supposed to be
the government’s job is to hold the home
responsible
to protect that not interfere with that
the government is not to interfere with
the by prescribing things that keep the
out of the home they’re to prescribe
things that keep the mail
in the home because god said it would be
male
and female it should protect and support
god’s definition of civil government
the bible declares in malachi
chapter 2 verses 14
to 16. he says something about marriage
that you cannot miss
and then it goes into your offspring so
he brings family into it
he says she is your mate
by covenant now this is the key word
he says she is your mate by covenant
this is the word that we use a lot if
you understand the kingdom
god’s kingdom is run by his covenant
again therefore covenants the covenant
with the individual the covenant with
the family the covenant with the church
and the covenant with civil government a
covenant is a divinely created
relational bond a divinely created
relational bond
god establishes the covenant covenant he
sets the rules by how you function in
the covenant
he tells you what the covenant ought to
do if you’re going to advance his rule
in society
so you better protect the family
covenant
if you want the civil covenant to work
you mess with the family covenant
you’ve endangered the church covenant
and the civil covenant
this relational bond means that you have
to be
in alignment with god
the problem is that men have decided
what they want manhood to be
women have decided what they want
womanhood to be men have decided what
husbands are supposed to be
women have decided what their what their
definition of a wife is supposed to be
children that now get to decide whether
the parents will get to decide
we have absolute chaos in our world
today
because we have chaos in our families
today
because the society at large and
unfortunate unfortunately
christians have joined them in
redefining the family
how do you share the gospel with
confidence what’s god’s plan for our
communities

the bible knows nothing of same-sex
marriage
the bible would condem any serious
consideration of
same-sex marriage there’s no such thing
as
same-sex marriage jesus made it clear
in matthew chapter 19 he says it is
male and female and two
shall become one that is how god defines
it
government doesn’t get to redefine it
once government
redefines what god has decided
to define government has said we trump
god
whenever government says we trump god
government is now in conflict with god
and whenever government is in
conflict with god government loses
because
god will then unleash his reaction
to our rebellion by defining things
as he never meant them to be defined he
never
intended for any other definition except
the definition
that he himself gives let me tell you
something else
god is a gangster he would be against
government establishing laws
of no fault divorce jesus made it clear
you don’t just get divorced because
you’re not happy
because happiness was not the first
reason i created marriage
i created marriage to establish my image
to replicate my image in history
and to exercise dominion on the earth
and if you would ever get around to
my definition of family i will make you
happy
but the moment that you decide to do
your own thing
then you can’t be happy because you’ve
been you’ve removed
the support of happiness out of the
definition of a family
but when the government steps in and
when the government decides
you don’t have a reason to get divorced
you just don’t want to be married again
we’ll set you out what does jesus say he
says
let not man put asunder
what god has joined together guess what
we do we go to church for the marriage
and go to the courthouse for divorce
and god says you got to be out of your
mind you use me to get hitched
but then you go to man to unhitch what i
hitched
without giving me the right to give you
permission
and the reason why you don’t give me
permission is you don’t like the fact
that i may not agree
with your decision to unhook up what i
hooked up
for my name my glory and the purpose i
established so what do we have
we’ve got children being shuttled from
house to house we’ve got children being
held in foster care where the government
now must become the parent
we’ve got children who are confused you
know we have uh
you go through the airport the old
magnetometers you remember them
they go beep beep beep beep when you
went through one time i went through i
had keys in my pocket
and went it went off bpb another time i
went through i had keys in my pocket
and it didn’t register at all it was the
same
keys because the old magnetometers had
to be set
and so the person could set them real
sensitive or not so sensitive
and that would make them go off quicker
or not as quick
you know what we have today we have a
generation of young people whose
consciences don’t beep
whose consciences don’t go off where the
sense of right and wrong
no longer matter where there are no
longer standards of absolute truth you
know why
because consciences have to be set like
the magnetometers
and if there’s no mother and father to
set them and if the culture has gone
crazy then as a result of that they
don’t beat
and as a result of not beeping every
person leans to their own
understanding and you have chaos
in the land because the god who
established
family has been trumped by mankind both
the family
and the government that supports the
misdefinition
and misuse of the issue of family
family is a covenantal institution
so he just doesn’t say you should know
divorce should be the hottest thing in
the world again
because it is the divine institution and
god says
you don’t use me to get it started and
then skip me
to call it quits and that’s what we’re
doing today
and civil government has made it easy to
do because it no longer has
the understanding that government is
belonging to god we also see this in
government-led education we see schools
now
teaching things that undermine the
creator
acting as a parent overruling parents
giving out information that rebels
against god
offering evolution no longer as a theory
but as a fact dismissing creationism
sex education in younger and younger
grades
whether it’s handing out condoms whether
exposing them to an education
that ruins god’s definition of the
family
the government is now in opposition to
god and you can’t say
god bless america when there are systems
being set up
that a government run that undermined
the family
and the values clarification that should
come
from a theistic world view yes that even
should be in education which is why
parents should have choice so they
shouldn’t be forced in the schools
that do not take god seriously and by
taking god seriously i’m not talking
about his name
i’m talking about his policies as well
i’m talking about his belief system
i’m talking about his definition of
families that are training young men
to be dignified and responsible and to
be and and to have
manners and manliness that are teaching
young women
how to hold their character and their
dignity and to no longer
be used that are giving them a divine
standard
for marriage and for how relationships
are to be built
rather than becoming environments that
facilitate
that which undermines the family when
the government
fails to do this it is now in opposition
to god
and when you’re in opposition to god i
hate to tell you this
but you can’t win any educational system
that does not promote and protect the
family
as god defines it is a pagan institution
so we have become paganized when a
kingdom voter votes
one of the things among many things and
they have to be prioritized
but one of the things because you are a
kingdom independent
is what is being promoted related
to the family yes there are other issues
they’re issues of life they’re issues of
justice
the issues of race the issues of
reconciliation and those must be brought
in too
but since the family is the foundation
of civilization if the condition
malachi chapter 4 verses 4 to 6 says
because the family was in disarray i
cursed the land
did you hear that i hope you didn’t miss
that because the family was in disarray
the land was cursed and we’re looking at
a cursed land because we’re looking at a
failed family
and when the family goes down it’s not
long before the culture
goes right with it and so
just as satan reversed the family
in genesis 3 when he got rose reversed
the man became a passive leader
eve became the aggressive dictator
he failed because god holds him
responsible
as a result the children wind up killing
one another king kills abel
so that by the time you get to genesis
chapter six
the whole world has got to be destroyed
because
there was not support for the family
because guess what
satan wants to undermine the family so
he can destroy the society
and unless we get back to god owning the
family
and the civil government supporting that
and condemning it when he doesn’t that’s
what the scripture does
it condemns the misuse of the family
in mark chapter 6 verses 14 to 29
john the baptist condemns a political
ruler for unlawful
marriage he goes right to the government
and says that marriage is unlawful
now here’s where we get super spiritual
and super weak well we shouldn’t well i
wouldn’t do it but we shouldn’t dictate
what other people do well wait a minute
should we dictate that a
mother can’t marry her son should we
dictate a
father can’t marry his daughter should
we dictate
biological brothers and sisters
shouldn’t marry each other i mean
we dictate things that we consider
illegitimate and guess what god says
they
are illegitimate well he also
says what’s illegitimate when it comes
to
who marries who he
deals with genders when it comes to
what’s legitimate so don’t don’t give me
this stuff
that we shouldn’t get involved in that
you better get involved in that
because the saving of the family is the
saving of the culture
and just like john the baptist
confronted the political ruler
we must confront the government
righteously
justly compassionately but with clarity
that god has spoken and he has not
stuttered on what marriage and family
is and how it is to function and so
what we have today is the breakdown of
the family which means the breakdown of
the future
and we’ve got to go to we’ve got to do
what nehemiah 4 14 says
he says fight for the family guess what
he was doing
that was the government talking nehemiah
is the governor
and nehemiah gets all the families and
he says you’re under attack
they’re coming at us from every side he
calls the men
forward he says you take care of your
people
you take care of the mother and the
father and the kids
you fight for the family because if
we’re gonna save
this society then you better stay in
front of your house
you better fight for your home because
this government
he says is going to support the family
and we’re going to fight for the family
for husbands and wives and children
that’s what the government must do
we must call on to account when it fails
to do that
because this is a divine institution not
a social one
now this bears on
a critical thing that we need to deal
with
and that is the role that men have
in leading in the protection of the
family if we’re going to save the nation
god came and he said adam where are you
he didn’t say adam and eve where y’all
yeah he was involved with it but he
never came looking for eve
i i i need to tell the men this
you’re responsible even if you’re not to
blame it
it may not be your fault it wasn’t
adam’s fault that eve ate first
but he said because you listen to your
wife and you let her
overrule me i know you i know you love
the girl
i know she you honey you know
and i i i i know she
she your special one but she won’t get
to overrule me
no no no let me explain how this goes
i’ll run this show adam and you’re to
guard and guide and protect
the family and because you
failed he says the culture is now in
trouble
thorns and thistles and conflict
battle of the sexes and he deals with
all of this
that infiltrates the culture because the
men have failed
we read in in isaiah 3 he says men fall
on the sword when women
become illegitimately strong not strong
illegitimately strong when men become
illegitimately weak
he says the men fall on the sword and
you get a generation
of weak men that is non-biblically
minded spiritually minded males
who submit to god and who lead their
families
he says the whole culture is going to
fail
that’s why he called all the men in
exodus 34
verses 3 and uh verses 23 and 24.
he says i want all the males and he says
if y’all will listen to me
then i’m gonna send you back home and
when i send you back home i’m a savior
nation
oh so what government has to do
is always value its women but hold its
men to account
if you’re if you’re a baby daddy you
don’t get to not pay child support
you don’t get to relinquish your
responsibility and not be held
accountable
by the state for your responsibility as
a man
you don’t get to run away from that and
yes the government should support
the role of many says because if i can
save the nation
if i can get the men to pay attention
what did god tell abraham he said
abraham in genesis
18 verse 19. i’ve chosen you
and i want you to raise the children
because in the bible the man is
responsible for raising the children
not the woman the woman comes alongside
to help but not replace
he says i want you to raise the children
and guess what he told them to raise men
pay attention
he says i want you to raise them in
righteousness and justice
there’s our two words again to give them
a moral standard with god
but an equitable standard among men
so you can’t raise them to be racist you
can’t raise them to be discriminatory
you can’t raise them
to be prejudiced you can’t raise them to
mistreat women you can’t raise them to
not have dignity
and to have respect you can’t raise them
not to stand up
when a woman gets on a bus who’s elderly
and she has to stand up because
that boy won’t get up you you don’t
raise him that way you raise him in
righteousness
and justice so he fights for the right
of the
of those who are disenfranchised he
fights
in in a righteous way for those whose
liberty has been stolen from them
because he’s righteous and just he
fights for the child in the womb and
then he fights
for equity among people and their
dignity
to the tomb because you’re teaching them
both and guess what he says
he says if i can get you abraham and all
the men in your house
to do it my way here’s what we’re going
to do we’re going to build the nation
say what yeah if i can get the daddy
back in the house doing what he’s
supposed to do
and stop running away just because times
are tough stop
quitting just because he don’t feel like
anymore and stop using the lame excuse
i’m not happy as a reason to bail out
and just man up to be a kingdom man
then you can keep your home
strong my father wouldn’t quit when my
mother was
giving him the worst part of his life he
held on to his god held on to his faith
and he kept fighting
until my mother because women were built
to respond
and over the long haul you give them
enough time and you give them the right
stuff
they got this mechanism god has put
inside of them
to respond and you give it in there you
keep it coming day after day
after day you’ll begin to see a shift
why because she’s built that way and you
bring god into the equation
why because those kids need a mama and a
daddy
they need a family and i know there are
many situations where the daddy is not
there and i praise god for the women
who are doing a great job and ladies if
you’re a single parent
you fight for that family and don’t
raise your boys just to be good men
raise them to be good husbands and good
fathers
because that’s what they’re going to
become and expose them to men who are
that way
so that you fight for the family we
don’t want kids to be wars of the state
we want them to
be picked up and brought up by quality
homes
so that the covenant of the family is
not interfered with illegitimately
by the covenants of the culture he says
we’re going to build abraham a whole new
nation
if i can get you to be the right kind of
daddy so what should the government do
protect and promote the family as god
defined it
you leave that you can kiss
the culture goodbye you can say goodbye
to the nation
because the saga of a nation is the saga
of its families
written large so as joshua said in
joshua 24
15 as for me
and my house we will serve the lord you
know what he said he said i don’t care
what y’all gonna do
i know we’re in a culture that’s messed
up that’s toe
up from the flow up but i ain’t gonna
let that culture get in here
and raise my children i’m not gonna let
that culture that government
accept my values i’m not gonna let that
school system
determine what my family knows and
believes
no as for me and my crib this is how we
roll
this is how we roll in government i’m
going to vote
in a way that protects and promotes the
family
as god defined it and i know i’m going
to put it along all the other issues
but that’s going to be in the back of my
mind because i’m a kingdom independent
and i’m going to vote for the rule of
god we must hold government leaders
accountable to the family
first of all it’s your individual life
but then it’s your family life
and if government doesn’t take it
seriously you better
because it’s your kids it’s your future
and god is the generational god he says
i’m the god of abraham
isaac and jacob that say he says i go
generationally
you know if if we don’t get this fixed
you can’t imagine what your great
grandchildren are going to live through
when you have a government that doesn’t
protect and promote
god’s definition of the family then
you’re looking at a world that’s going
to be totally confused
totally mixed up and
totally disintegrated
in closing there’s a
a hunter who took his pigs to market
and he had a whole host of pigs
and a passerby said good lord did you
did you catch all those all those hogs
well he said yeah i got them all he said
he says how how long did it take to get
get all those pigs
oh he says not long at all just a couple
of weeks
he said well you got all those pigs in a
couple of weeks say yeah

a secret
tell me how you got all those pigs well
he said i
i set out free food
and i draw the piglets to the free food
and every day i would set out free food
i’d say
come get it for free because i’m gonna
give you free food
and i would draw the kids to the free
food
and one day i put up a fence
on the east side next day they came for
free food
i just inconspicuously put up a fence on
the west side
then they came the next day for free
food i put up a fence on the north side
they came for free food the next day
i’m beginning to build a fence on the
south side
but see the pigs the parents of the
piglets
got used to the free food so they sent
their
piglets to get free food and they
thought we’d get some free food too
so now i had the piglets and the parents
i had the pigs
i had the whole family and i was giving
them free food
all the time building a fence and on
that final day
when i got mother and father pig to
bring piglets
brother and sister and i got him inside
i closed the fence i closed the gate
and now it’s too late to squeal
you see you don’t let a governmental
system
no matter what it offers you for free to
draw in your children
and the family and then build a fence
and then lock you in to a non-christian
definition of the family
because then you’ll be squealing but
it’ll be too late because now you’re
caught
you’re caught in a system
that undermines god’s definition
of the family the family is owned
by god not by government
so right there i want to challenge you
with your family
maybe you’re with your family now or
maybe as a single person
you are the family but why don’t you say
as for me and my house
i’m gonna serve the lord the lord is
gonna define my singleness
and i’m gonna be a whole single and not
a not a
uh divided single i’m gonna be
fulfilling my purpose
until god changes my status
or if you’re a nuclear family
then you say as for me and my family
there’s a man in the house you should be
leading the way we’re gonna serve the
lord
we’re gonna we’re gonna counteract
anything that comes into this house
that disagrees with god
we’re going to check the books that are
being read
the lessons that are being given because
we’re going to make sure in this house
up in here up in here this is god’s
place
and he established the family and we’re
going to make sure that education
is consistent with that and not in
rebellion against that
it’s time that we hold the government
responsible but we must first hold
ourselves responsible
now i’m assuming you’re a christian if
you’ve never accepted jesus christ you
need to get that straight
you need eternal life and he offers it
for free
you talk about something for free that’s
what you want for free
he gives it away if you come to god
and say lord jesus i’m a sinner i need a
savior
i don’t want my life to be ruined i want
my life to be governed and guided by you
and i’m going to believe in you for your
salvation i’m going to come to you right
now
for you to save me forgive me and give
me eternal life
and then lord i want to live under this
banner
of the kingdom i want to be a kingdom
citizen
and i want to reflect you in my life
in my work and in my home would you ask
god to do that right now
to come into your life if you’re not a
christian and accept him as your savior
the lord jesus christ who died on the
cross in your place for your sin
who rose from the dead to give you
eternal life
and if you’re a christian will you
recommit yourself
to that right now with so many competing
and
even contradictory voices and opinions
swirling around us today
