with me while we pray before we get into
the word because literally there was a
sound you know i’ve been in prayer
asking the lord what is it
that you want to speak on to your
children and i had some thoughts because
i was like okay god there was something
you had told me that we should you know
talk about
but something was different something
was it was almost like this alarm going
off in my spirit and i said god what is
it and there was this phrase that he
kept her lighting mission possible
you see as we were singing and we are
saying that god we will see revival fill
the nations but how do we see revival
fill the nations it’s through you
is how the holy spirit partners through
an individual who believes that god can
use them to bring change into this
nation that god can use them to change
their society their community that god
can use them to impact culture in such a
grand way
you see last week while our pastor was
with us he said something that it’s just
the truth anyone that is connected to
the sound of this ministry
there is a vision on your life
that is bigger than you have ever
thought about anything in your life
there is a vision there is a burden god
has put in your heart that literally
feels impossible
but you see the bible says that with man
it is
but with god all things are possible
[Applause]
and so when you’re drawn to this house
you know this is a house of i’d like to
call it both and people
we’re very layered
one moment you might see us with a mic
the next moment we might be in the
magazine right
we’re very layered people
you see you’re not just that’s why i
love when pastor roosevelt preached that
word about that that released so many
people to realize like wow i’m also an
author
i never saw my life that way
when you think about yourself you’re
like yes god has me you know in the
medical department but he’s also given
me this idea for a film we’re both and
people
we’re not boxed into one thing because
what it means is that we are willing
vessels
god however you want to use me i know
i’ve been in the arts but you can pull
me into tech whenever you feel like it
and so when you are a person that is
both and
you always have to be at the feet of
jesus because it would always seem out
of reach
but with god everything is possible and
so he gave me this message mission
possible
and i’m going to teach a bit on it but i
want us to pray because everything that
has been happening in this house is so
aligned with this charge
i don’t think this is just a sermon i
believe that this is a prophetic charge
for you to understand that that burden
that god has put in your heart that
burden he has put on your mind that it
is possible and it can and it will
happen but it just requires your
partnership and we’re going to talk
about what that really looks like but
just pray with me heavenly father we
thank you
lord jesus we love you
lord as we come before you
glorify yourself
holy spirit
we recognize your presence in this realm
glorify jesus through everything that
takes place
in jesus name amen amen amen amen
family you may be seated
[Music]
i want to go to this scripture is in
psalms 33 from verse 16
to 21.
and it says this
no king
is saved
by the multitude of an army
a mighty man is not delivered by great
strength
a horse is a vain hope for safety
neither shall it deliver any by its
great strength
behold the eye of the lord is on those
who fear him
on those whose hope is in his mercy
to deliver their soul from death and to
keep them alive in famine
our soul waits
for the lord
he is our help and our shield
for our heart shall rejoice in him
because we have trusted in his holy
name
i love this so much because
first of all the bible acknowledges like
hey
no king is saved by a great army
in other words jesus is saying
the victory is not the any anywhere you
see victory you see my hand
that you might look on the on the you
know from judging from the outside you
might be like oh man that that king had
such a great army look at that that is
why he had victory and in reality jesus
is saying that you know no king is saved
by a mighty army army
now in those days literally it means an
army
but in our lives we have armies
right because when you think about an
army it’s really just a multitude
whether multitude of things or people
that are brought together for a
particular purpose
so when god gives you a word you start
looking for your army you’re like okay
god i need the finances i need the
relationships i need this i need that i
need the i need everything to be right
we all have our armies that we build
for victory
but then the lord is saying to us
whatever you build around you is not the
guarantee
for your victory and the beauty in this
is that so whether you have it or you
don’t
the victory is based on what i have
purposed
so that’s why in the bible sometimes you
will see how you know sometimes a king
would have a great army and win the
battle
or two people will go after kings and
win the battle
because at the end of the day it is
about who is the lord with
so wherever you see victory you see the
authority of god
and what i love about this is that when
it talks about waiting on the lord just
as we were worshiping
waiting is not like this passive thing
that we do
waiting is not what we do when we tell
someone just trust god right we use it
as hashtags man i’m just believing just
trust god
what does that mean
because you see in the scripture there’s
something that they said that we’re
going to dive into it says for our heart
shall rejoice in him
because we have trusted in his holy name
but what does it really mean to trust
god
because you see jesus would say
something like this he talks about how
for these people they were talking about
a certain people he said you know with
their words they honor me
but their hearts are far from me
and in culture we have made trusting god
a saying
man trust god bro
man i just trust god bro and we then put
the bro and says right next to it man
says what you do i’m just trusting god
but your heart is far from god
i want you to take a moment and examine
how is your heart
how is your heart doing with the very
thing that god has promised you
how is your heart doing with the things
that are a burden to you
because the reality is that if what
you’re believing for does not flow from
the heart
then it is void
if you’re just using your words to give
jesus some lip service like jesus i just
trust you
but your actions don’t align your
thoughts don’t align
because jesus is not just watching what
you say he’s watching what you do and
he’s how watching how you think
and this is what i want to dive into
today because you see when when the lord
was put in this message in my heart i
realized that many times you’re like god
i trust you to make it happen
but how do we make that practical in our
lives
and i believe that through that some of
the key things i’m going to share today
when you begin to embrace it in your
life i believe that we’re going to see
incredible things happen through us
because of the holy spirit
you see the first thing he says is that
we trust in his holy name
now that word for name can translate to
several things reputation authority
character the report of jesus but there
are three key things i want us to
highlight today and i want us to start
with trusting in god’s holy name by
looking at trusting in his word
because when you trust in his name
you’re trusting in his authority
and his word is his authority now i’m
going to take this down a little bit of
a different street because when we think
about trusting in the word of god we
will often have this understanding of
you know what if god said it then that’s
what it is
we rest in this idea that because god
said it
then you know what even if i’m
disobedient
even if i’m not submissive
god will do what he said he will do in
my life that is how we look at it
and then we become very passive
we don’t have we don’t take charge
then the bible we forget that the bible
talks about faith without works is dead
so we say that we have the faith but we
have no works and then what ends up
happening is that we’re not actually
we’re just walking dead
and so we have this saying like we just
feel so great like oh i have a promise
from god i’m standing on the promise
but you’re not actually doing anything
with that promise
now this is the thing because you have
to recognize that when god speaks
there was a prophet by the name of
samuel the bible said concerning samuel
that the lord did not allow any of his
words to fall to the ground
meaning everything that prophet samuel
says god backed it up
every single word he uttered god backed
it up to prove to the people that this
is indeed my prophet
if god will back up the words of a man
then what about himself
when god releases a word and here is
where it gets tricky because this is
where we have so many questions but man
i you know i had this promise from the
lord but i haven’t seen it fulfilled in
my life yet
because we’re like god you’re not a man
to lie but what is happening
because the truth is every word from god
will be fulfilled
but you have to recognize that every
word from god is connected to his
mission
and a kingdom agenda
it is not connected to your happiness
it is not connected to you being
glorified it is connected to an agenda
of the kingdom
and so what makes you a partner is your
willingness
is your submission
because the moment you come out of
alignment
that is when the bible says the eyes of
the lord searches the whole earth
looking for who he could make himself
strong by
so when you back down
and you start living a life that could
be a little careless to the call you
start living a life that could be you
know a bit aimless to the task
whatever god has purpose to do in a
season will happen
the question is will it happen through
you
because when we take on this posture the
worst thing we can do as believers
is to think that we are the author of a
vision
that we are the author of a burden
you see the reality is family if you
want to see
no homelessness in the country in los
angeles to start with
it’s not because you’re a good person
it is because the spirit of the lord has
shared a burden with you
because you see last time i was with you
i thought i talked about deception jesus
even said this he said no one is good
except the father
but
and when he talks about this is because
you have to recognize that the nature of
man the nature of the flesh is very evil
the goodness you find in each and every
one of us is the evidence of the spirit
of god
why i’m sharing this is for you to
recognize that that vision you have
that good intention and that good idea
that you have if you think that you are
the author of it
you begin to lose your alignment
because if i authored this idea if it
started with me then i have all the time
in the world to execute on it
if this idea came because man i was just
so moved with compassion
i just love the whole world i just want
to see people better
if it started with me i’m saying this
about myself
i remember there was a time in my life
that i was feeling myself a little bit i
was like who god i just thank you that i
just have compassion for
everybody i just love people you know i
don’t even get offended wow this is
shocking guy i said you really took your
time with me
i’m not exaggerating right
and then the lord showed me myself
and i realized wow that was in there
okay
what makes us the goodness you find in
humanity
that light you find in humanity started
with jesus
he is the first one to be called the
light of the world
and when he calls you the light of the
world is because of what he has placed
in you
it’s because of what connects you to the
father and i’m saying this because you
have to recognize that whenever you have
a burden
that goes outside of you whenever you
have a burden for an idea a vision of
our business that it’s outside of just
pleasing you
you have to start taking inventory lord
what have you purposed to do on the
earth through this
this i am not the author of this
this did not start with me but you are
sharing a burden with me
that is why in the book of in with the
man named isaiah right
in the book of isaiah when the lord
encountered him there was an encounter
the lord had with him and the lord says
this he says who shall i send
and who shall go for us
then isaiah says here i am send me
now all of this is happening as a
spiritual encounter but you see what is
happening who shall i send
and who shall go for us
there is a mission connected to your
life
but that mission started with god
it didn’t start with you
and there was this charge in my spirit
that if we don’t begin to realize
the urgency for the things that god
wants to do in a season
and when it shifts and have you ever
because at some point god would this
experience must have happened to all of
us at some point in life
when there was an idea you had for
something and you sat on it too long
and not long after that you saw someone
execute the very same thing
and you will begin to wonder like
how
did somebody leak my thoughts
because it didn’t start with you
it was always in the mind of god to do
this
and when he saw your submission he says
okay i can partner with you
but if you just live a life and you feel
like you know what
i got time
i could do whatever i want god said it
it will happen it will
but you have to go back to that question
but will it happen through
you
that is why right after you see that
okay saul was appointed king in the
bible but when saul was no longer a
partner with the lord when he started to
listen to the voice of men and no longer
the voice of god what happens next the
lord tells samwell
go and anoint david to be king instead
whatever god has shared with you
you have to see that as an honor
the lord you will share this burden with
me
and the beauty is that we are not
looking for victory we are coming from
it
our job is to take a stance and press
towards what god has already decreed
you see i’ll share something with you
that happened i think one of the i would
rank this as probably the most
crazy spiritual experience i’ve ever had
but it taught me something so greatly
a particular day this is a couple years
ago
i was laying in bed
and literally a friend of mine she came
out we were all just hanging now you
know when your girlfriend’s around
everybody’s just chatting and all that
good stuff right
and we’re just having a conversation
immediately
i began to
not even sense i i recognized
that
although i’m in the bed having a
conversation it felt like my spirit was
leaving my body and going somewhere else
and i was aware of two realms at the
same time i was like what is happening
here
and then all of a sudden i find myself
in this room with the lord it’s almost
like it it took me into this place in
heaven
and in this room i would even call the
room because everywhere was open in this
place there was a table there was a
particular you know just round table
you
you know heaven they be they have
conferences and whatnot
and there was this round table
and the lord said this table is called
the seat of influence
so there were all these people sitting
on the table
and they were asked to now it was almost
like a change happening they were asked
to rise up and then have all these new
people come sit on the table
so then all these new people are sitting
and there was a particular person that i
saw and i recognized her
and i was like oh this is cool like
what’s happening here
and then an angel began to speak on
things events that will happen in the
world
now one thing in particular this lady is
someone who is very well known
established in a particular field
you know i just don’t want to mention
you know the person but very established
and the angel began to speak
that in a couple amount of years
that she is not even a couple of man of
years in a short time because it didn’t
take that long in a short time that
there’s a brand that she would establish
outside of the industry that she’s in
and they will cause the brand to take
off
it would it would bring it would
establish her in a new industry
but they began to talk about the the
plans of god behind it
and they said because it would reach a
point that her influence would grow so
much
and all of a sudden she would use that
influence to begin to evangelize
and she will start talking to people
about jesus
and what he’s done in her life it almost
felt like undercover
and so they say the name of the brand
they say exactly what it would do
and so i come out of it so after that
you know and a couple things happen and
i come back to myself and i was like
what just took place
right and i was like okay lord so i have
a conversation so i tell my brother and
i was like man you can’t even believe
what happened so i shared the whole
thing with him
not too long maybe about i don’t know if
it was even up to a year or so this
particular lady came out with this brand
exactly as it was said
everything happened and now i think
she’s more established in this brand in
doing that than the former thing that
she was in
and so when i saw it play out in front
of me honestly i felt like the fear of
the lord came upon me even stronger
because it made me ponder god wait
i recall this i even wrote down the
details because of how clear and vivid
everything was
and the lord began to teach me
that what took place in the spirit
is literally like a mirror
to when you’re just you know laying down
one day and all of a sudden you just
have a bright idea
you’re like wow
i should actually do this
and i should call it
this
and you you’re so full of vision and
it’s so clear to you not recognizing
that god is behind it
and it is connected to what he wants to
it has a kingdom agenda
now why this is so important is because
in the same way that’s why you have to
weigh out the things that you do
because in the same way that they can be
meetings in heaven concerning what god
wants to do on the earth through your
life it is the same way the enemy
orchestrates things so you have to watch
what you endorse in life
you are creative but you have to watch
what am i creating and who is the source
of this
when you eliminate yourself as the
author and you recognize that the
creative force behind everything has a
spiritual author
then you begin to weigh things out
and god if this came from you then i am
not going to be disobedient to the way
you want me to move
whatever it is that you want me to do i
have to recognize i am not looking for
an army
i don’t need an army for this to work i
just need to follow your voice
what would it look like if you began to
think and honor every idea
every vision every burden to serve
humanity
as an agenda of the kingdom
and what comes from god cannot fail
but where is our submission
where is our alignment
to say god you know what you have put
this in my heart i’m going to take a
stance of faith
because you see family when we say that
we have faith it means we have
information
the bible says this that faith comes by
hearing and hearing by the word of god
and so to have faith and that’s why it
also says that faith is the substance
of things hoped for
that when you hope for something and you
find understanding and revelation that
what i hope for is actually in god’s
plans for me
because when you have faith that means
you have tapped into an understanding of
what god wants to do whether it is a
plan or a promise or a principle
when you have faith then you have tapped
into an information but what do you do
with that information that is the key
and where deception creeps in is that
the enemy wants you to feel like it
started with you
because if it started with me
i can take my time
if it started with me i’m not pressed
if it started with me i don’t have to
check my doubt
if it started with me i could just chill
in this unbelief maybe that idea is just
too crazy i need to focus on something
else
let me come up with the next idea
if it started with me
but i want you to take some time today
begin to weigh the things that are
burdens in your heart
you don’t have to be in the industry for
god to use you for it like i said we are
both and people
we are one thing one day and another day
god pulls us into another field
we are both and whatever god has put as
a burden weighed in his presence
lord did this come from you
or is this a distraction
but lord if i know that this came from
you
then i am going to press
because what you have ordained to do
will happen
and i am making myself available that it
would happen with me
a couple weeks ago i shared that even
the way the lord called me into ministry
was very similar to that experience with
isaiah it was literally who shall i send
and who shall go for us and i was over
there me me me me send me send me
but it was a very similar experience and
i recognized that my mission i am not
the author i will keep saying this over
and over again because many times we
live like we are the author of our good
deeds
when i recognize that my mission for
god’s people my heart for god’s people
did not start with me
but it started with him
then i rest in him
then lord whatever you need me to do you
will show up
because again i am not looking for
victory i’m coming from it
you see whatever is causing you
whatever is causing you to feel
overwhelmed in this season
you see that whole that pressure and
that feeling of like man this is too
heavy for me to bear
what is too heavy is not the actual task
it is the idea of who it came from
because if it’s on me
then definitely it feels heavier than it
should be
you see even the ways when you feel
overwhelmed
when you search it out you’re not
overwhelmed because of what needs to be
done you’re overwhelmed because your
care you believe that this thing
it starts with me and it finishes with
me so if i don’t do it who will
and who’s gonna have my back
but when you begin to see life as god
this is this is on you
but i’m coming in partnership with you
to do this you move differently
and this is when you live a life that is
so consecrated to god
because you recognize what it means that
for god to look at you and say look i
want to partner with you to do some
great and mighty things
that’s why the point god even got angry
with moses
when he was telling moses moses i’ve
called you to deliver your people
moses is giving the excuse after excuse
the lord got a little frustrated
and he’s looking at him like
every issue you’re talking about you’re
talking to the solution
moses why are you still carrying this on
your shoulder like you did 40 years ago
because you see 40 years before god
encountered him
moses thought to himself
you know he was in the palace if you
haven’t read the story of moses in egypt
you gotta read it or even watch the the
movie prince of egypt
moses grew up in the palace
and his you know fellow israelites
they’re they’re in the field and they’re
suffering and all that stuff
moses wakes up one day and he just felt
like i’m a good person
i want to see my people set free
i’m going to do something about it
did not consult nobody
he just said you know what i’m a good
guy
so he’s walking around the field he sees
an egyptian beating up in israelite and
moses is like right here you can’t do
this because i’m a good person okay and
we don’t allow such things
so he beat he he actually kills the
egyptian
and he’s feeling himself you know
the next day he takes a walk in the
field again he’s like all right what
good people do over here we stop fights
okay
and then
two israelites are fighting
and he goes to separate the fight
and they look at him and say do you want
to kill us like you killed the egyptian
but they said it with in such a
dishonorable way and moses recognized
wait they don’t value me
actually they don’t even like what i did
but i was over here just trying to help
them and set them free moses runs
because now the pharaoh finds out moses
runs away so when god encounters him
again
moses is still looking at himself like
god i i was good i really tried to help
those people but they didn’t want my
help
not recognizing moses
even that desire it was not from you it
came from me
now the author of it is in front of you
saying i will be with you when you do
this
and so the frustration of god was not
about moses saying no but it was about
moses perspective of who is sending him
moses i’m not sending you to do
something you want to do
i’m sending you to do something i have
already declared done
and i’m calling you to partner with my
mission
that it would become our burden
but it started with god it was the lord
who said i have heard the cry of the
israelites and i will send moses to
deliver them
what idea
has god given you because he has already
heard the cry of the next generation
you see god is outside of time
so he’s not just listening to the
burdens of this generation he’s not just
listening to the issues in this era he’s
listening to the issues that would
happen in 20 years in 50 years in 100
years and so when he puts something in
your heart he says i’ve heard the cry
of 2035
and i have given you this idea to bring
solution to it
but how you move with it
is what now qualifies if it will happen
through you
now
when we talk about
in this holy name name also speaks to
character
now one thing that the lord was teaching
me on this
literally
this morning and there’s just this
download coming in and it blew my mind
because he said when it comes to
character again and which is true we
said you know what god is faithful
we say it all the time god is faithful
and he has never failed god will be
faithful in this and i trust the
character of god
but what cements that in your heart
what actually builds roots in your heart
for you to be established in trust in
the character of god is when you have
shared experiences with god
what i mean by this is many times
it’s hard for us to believe
that god can use us
with even with your burden with the
ideas with the revelation with the
inside everything
it is still a struggle to believe that
god can use you
and one of the key things that the lord
revealed to me is
when you only honor
people that give you a reason to
it is extremely hard to see how god can
use you in spite of your flaws
if you only respect and value
people that give you a reason to
then in the same way you start believing
this is how god sees you
why is it that many times if a person
has daddy issues in their lives right
maybe you didn’t grow up with your
father or abandonment or anything like
that that it’s also a struggle to
receive from god as a father
because your experience of a father
kind of
marked you in a very weird way that it
takes process
that even before god fully reveals
himself to you as a father he starts to
put people in your life
to show up
as what would be a good representation
of a fatherly figure
god begins to try to send people to you
that would allow you to embrace him in a
way that it’s outside of a negative
experience
what you don’t share in christ it is
hard for you to also recognize that is
how he operates
and this is not from your will i’m
talking about the holy spirit
because when you say yes to jesus what
happens is that the holy spirit begins
to change your nature to his nature
and this happens through obedience
it is the moment when you want to be
petty
and the holy spirit says be quiet
and then you go from trying to say
something to girl you know how’s the
weather
it is obedience in those moments because
what it does is that it starts to change
your heart it starts to change how you
see people
if you don’t on if you don’t honor the
people that are dishonorable to you
then it will be extremely hard for you
and your mess to see how god how could
you call me
how could you use me
because this is what honor does i mean
the honor in itself it’s a whole thing
god is very serious about honor
extremely serious to the point that the
only thing that could hinder jesus from
moving was a lack of honor
can you imagine that
that the lord wants to do a thing in a
place this is what this takes us to when
jesus went to his hometown
and when he went there the bible says
literally jesus before going to his
hometown healing people opening blind
eyes doing all kinds of amazing stuff
right
but jesus goes to his hometown and the
bible says he could not do that many
miracles but why is that
because the people dishonored him
the bible even says that they refused
to believe in him
and so when it says that he could not do
many miracles because of their lack of
because of their unbelief but that
unbelief was tied to their dishonor
jesus and what is that telling us i
refuse to receive new information about
you
they looked at jesus and they were like
oh no that isn’t that the son of mary
isn’t that his brother and sister
they said we refuse we already know you
jesus
how many times do we do that to people
in our lives
somebody hurt you
somebody disrespected you
somebody said something and and it could
be very extreme
and you’ve boxed them into that one
thing
and you refuse
to receive new revelation about them
you see honor is not you know in culture
we say that respect is earned
and so we use that same culture and
bring it into our faith
honor is not earned
it is your duty to honor every
individual
because
honor is not to honor is not to worship
someone
and to honor it is not to accept wrong
but honor is to esteem to respect that
word even has a sense of to give weight
to
and i was as i was seeking the lord what
does that mean for for me to give weight
to someone
you see because even
in the beginning of everything
the bible tells us in the book of psalms
that when god created us it was when it
was in the scripture when it says who is
man that you are mindful of him
who who is man that you are mindful of
him even says that you made him a little
lower than elohim and you have crowned
him
with glory and honor when god made you
he already crowned you with glory and
honor and here’s what happens when we
honor people
to honor someone
is to crown them with their image
you disrespected me
and me honoring you in this moment is to
remind you this is not you
why god requires us to honor
everyone even while they’re having road
rage
this is not you
i am gonna crown you back with your
image
i know you did this to me but i am not
gonna allow myself to be petty in heart
or indeed
because we can be petty in action okay
or in my thoughts
because whatever you are exhibiting is
not you
this is not the version of you that god
made
against an honor is not to you know look
away at wrong no
but it is to do it with respect and love
this is not you
you see i remember you know um a couple
weeks back right so i i went out for
dinner with my fiance
and
the
[Music]
praise the lord
but that is not the point the point is
the it was extremely bad service the
waiter at the service was terrible okay
and
in my mind i was like and he was like
you know what should we tip them
i said you don’t want to ask me
because
this is one of the worst services i’ve
ever had
in my mind i was like nah you know it
will still be a tip but not a tip tip
and
and at the end you know i saw him at
another zero
i said sir
[Music]
and he said no the holy spirit told me
to do this
let’s honor that man
and it ministered so much to me
because
we don’t know what he was dealing with
in his day
i don’t think anyone wakes up and just
you know while they’re taking a shower
you know and washing their hair they’re
like whoo i cannot wait to ignore people
[Laughter]
okay
i cannot wait you know
joe my god
i don’t think that was his intention but
whatever was going on in his life i know
he know he he gave a bad service there’s
no way you know
i believe that he took his time to pick
up that check because he probably
thought there would be nothing there
but i wonder what happened when he saw
the tip
i wonder what that moment did for him
it has given weight back to people
why am i sharing this
if you don’t know how what it means to
give weight to people
then it becomes difficult to accept when
god wants to give your life weight
[Applause]

but when you begin to live a life
you see there was something there’s a
scripture i actually want to share with
you i mean this was something that
literally marveled jesus
in matthew chapter 8 from verse 5 to 10.
it says now jesus entered kirpania
and a centurion came to him pleading
with him saying
lord my servant is lying at home
paralyzed dreadfully tormented and jesus
said to him i will come and heal him the
centurion answered and said lord i am
not worthy
that you should come under my roof
but only speak a word and my servant
would be healed
for i am also
a man under authority
having soldiers under me and i say to
this one go and he goes and to another
come and he comes and to my servant do
this and he does it
when jesus heard it he marveled
and said to those who followed assuredly
i say to you
i have not found such great faith not
even in israel
now what again is faith faith is
knowledge
faith
comes by hearing and hearing by the word
of god there is an access of information
that activates faith in you
jesus says
i have never seen such great faith
in all of israel now a lot of amazing
things have happened up to this time
but when jesus heard this man speak he
said wow he can you imagine what will
make jesus marvel
that he looked and was like oh my say it
again
and slowly
but what did they have in common a
shared experience
when the man said look i also know what
it means to be under authority
if i tell my servant to do something
they do it so jesus i don’t need much
from you
i just need you to speak
because i understand what it’s like
when you speak a thing and someone does
it
if you want to be established in your
trust in god
if you want to be established in
trusting his character concerning you
if you want to be established trusting
that when god sees you
he sees a beautiful artwork if you want
to be established that when god sees you
he sees what he formed not however you
might be acting now
and he anointed what he formed
if you want to be established in knowing
that even in your mess god can walk with
you out of it
how do you treat people
and i’m not just talking about people
far from you
because a lot of times it always starts
in the home
what is your relationship
with like with your parents
with your siblings
with your cousins
and this is not to say that they were
great people no
not all of them might be great
maybe some of them even cost you a great
deal of pain
but if you don’t know how to honor on i
see it’s it’s a seed
it’s not selective
because what happens when you honor a
dishonorable parent for example
you’re putting weight on them
i don’t know where this behavior came
from
i don’t know if it happened there were
things that happened to you as a child
that’s why you treated me like this or
that’s why you abandoned me or that’s
why you were never there for me but i’m
going to put weight on you
i’m going to put the weight of your
image back on you
because the word of god tells us
that even when it comes to family you
will see honor in so many levels in the
bible because god god
there’s honor for authority in the land
honor in your family honor amongst your
friends and all that stuff you see god
talks about honor all over the bible but
everything really starts from the home
because those are the people that can
get on your nerves in ways that people
will never know
because have you ever noticed that it
could be something so random a stranger
could give you fiji water and you’re
like oh my gosh thank you so much
you’re so sweet
your brother gives you fiji water really
because i drink fiji right
i said how you gonna fight
they know how to push buttons that makes
no sense
it starts in the family
and so when we’re talking about god the
mission is possible it’s also there are
practical things that your life must
embody to fully receive it
and when the lord was putting this
weight on me that even connected to how
do we honor our family members
how do we honor our loved ones because
this is what honor does honor brings you
into access
what you honor you can also access from
and so sometimes you have not yet
accessed
the beauty of what god knows about a
person because you have not put weight
on them yet
and so what you may be waiting for and
crying out to god for literally could
start by you honoring the person
do you know that honor is so serious i’m
even diverting a little bit but honor is
so serious in god that even in a for a
married couple
he says to the man he says you know what
honor your wives right
because if there is dishonor your
prayers might be hindered
can you imagine that god would say he
would hinder he’s not even hearing your
prayer
he said oh who’s talking didn’t hear it
because of this honor in between a
family between a man and a woman
even when he talks about your parents he
said because in them you would access
life
he said so that your days may be long
and that it may be well with you
what is that because you have to
understand that even though maybe your
parents might be maybe they thought they
met as an accident
but god said but you were not an
accident
and you will honor the vessel that i
used to bring you to this earth
and whenever things look weird put back
put weight of their image on them
i’m sure even in this moment maybe there
are people coming to your mind
that one person that you refuse to call
you refuse to check in on
you refuse to just send like a a message
of encouragement
that one person that when you hear their
name you just like get aggravated
again i’m not saying
i’m not saying that to honor people
means that you
you clap for stupidity no
but how you treat them is with love and
respect not just in action
but in your heart
that even how i think of you would be
well
i’m not going to wish evil for you
i’m not going to think evil concerning
you
and i’m not saying that this is very
easy to do no
because sometimes it’s easier you see
when i was telling you that i was over
there saying god who you took your time
with me and somebody wronged me oh
all my heart intentions for them i don’t
even want to share it out loud it was
terrible
and i said god i will not lose sleep if
you did this
let’s be real right
but when you go before the before the
lord and say god
heal my heart
and even a practice you do you start
praying well for them
one of the key things is that when you
have
bitterness or hatred in your heart for
someone i charge you to pray for them
pray a blessing over them pray for them
like you will pray for yourself
because at the end of the day you don’t
realize that you’re cultivating
something much stronger in your life
you’re cultivating a heart of compassion
you’re cultivating a heart that sees
like god
and that changes everything
so when god begins to show you you
you accept it
when god begins to show you the things
that he has planned for you regardless
of your past regardless of your mistakes
you’re going to say when the lord is
saying to you who shall i send you say
lord send me with confidence
knowing that god i have learned
something about you
that you do you really do not hold me
you don’t hold me against the sins of my
past you’re looking at me the same way
you’ve always seen me even before you
placed me in this earth
and so that’s with honor right
and the third thing is to trust in god’s
report
and what do i mean by this we talk about
this all the time right it’s interesting
because for many times it’s easier for
us to dwell on disappointment
than to dwell on the good things
it’s so easy that when god did not do
that one thing
you were just like you see you know we
were singing here he goes again showing
up as friend you just remixed the whole
song you see here we go again god just
another disappointment now
now
the beauty of life is what you practice
becomes your norm
if you practice dwelling on
disappointments then this is how you
start your day you start your day from
just a very negative mindset about
everything that could happen
the bible tells us this that we come
into the presence of the lord with
thanksgiving
one of the reasons we also praise god
even be in the beginning of a service
because we are coming into his presence
with thanksgiving and praise
when you start your day
something i want to charge you to do
practically when you start your day
in prayer and worship
reflect on the goodness of god in your
life
have a gratitude journal
think about the things you’re just like
god even if you say every day there are
three things that would outline think
about the things you’re like god man i
just thank you for this god i thank you
for this because what are you doing you
are coming into his presence
that you would live there the whole day
and and furthermore
but when you start your day because you
can even start your day with prayer but
it’s still from a negative place
because you’re starting your day with
prayer and questions
god why didn’t you do this
god i i waited for you and you haven’t
still shown up
so although you’re starting with prayer
but the posture of your life is
disappointment
but when you start your day with
gratitude
god i thank you for this
god i thank you i’m telling you what it
do it changes your atmosphere
it changes how you perceive things and
it changes how the holy spirit is
amplified to walk with you throughout
your day
there are little things that when we
begin to tweak that
all of a sudden all you see around you
is possibilities
when i start my day recognizing god
there are things i don’t understand
but i i want to acknowledge you for what
you’ve already done there are things
that yes maybe they hurt me because it
didn’t happen according to my timeline
but the moment you begin to praise the
lord you begin to recognize but your
ways are greater
and indeed i will wait on you
you see family
whatever is assigned to your life
whatever god has spoken over your life
you have to rest in knowing
that god will do it
but in order for him to do it through me
i have to be aligned
god is faithful to his word
and i want to be faithful to the call
let’s not live the the times we are in
is
extremely crazy
and it might only get wilder
and this is when the light shines so
brightly
in the midst of darkness
whatever god has called you to do as an
answer some things don’t always seem fun
because a burden is not it’s not fun to
carry who who walks around just lifting
75 pounds of weight just you know doing
reps all day of their lives no at some
point it gets heavy
a burden is not fun
but when you recognize that you’re not
doing it on your own
and when you recognize that there is an
agenda connected to the kingdom for this
thing to be established then you do it
in joy you do it in gratitude you do it
and you press on that no matter the
hiccups that might come on the way no
matter the circumstances no matter the
trials the bible says that though the
weapons will be formed they will not
prosper
so weapons will be formed because it’s
not coming against you it’s coming
against the agenda of the kingdom that
wants to be manifested through you
so when you recognize
god if this weapon
prospers
then that means
you failed
it can’t prosper
it changes your disposition in life
it makes you walk with your health your
head held high knowing that god you are
with me
you see when the lord began to deal with
me on this word it also challenged
things in my life
i began to reflect even on some of the
things
that i was prideful enough to think i
authored
it was just in my heart to do no
these are the burdens of heaven
that are shared with us
and so family stand with me we’re going
to pray

if you know that there is a call
that you need to answer
there’s something that god has placed in
your heart
that you have been prideful about
because you just felt like god
it’s me you know i i woke up one morning
you know had a
sigh bowl
and i just thought about this bright
idea
but if you’re recognizing that this
started with god
then i want you to meet me at this altar
as a way of you saying god i surrender
and i will be in alignment with the very
thing that you have called me to do i am
no longer running
i am no longer you know i’m not gonna
embrace this prideful nature any longer
but i am going to say yes to the call

now if you’re in the house and
you have given yourself to creativity
in a way that is
against
the plans of god
because you thought you were just being
creative
not recognizing that everything in this
life serves
something
it either serves the kingdom of heaven
or it serves the kingdom of darkness
and in particular when i shared that it
hit you
because you recognize that i have been
using my gifts and my creativity
for things that are aimless
not recognizing that i was actually
serving a different master
if you know i’m talking to you and
you’re just like god i want to use my
gifts to honor your kingdom i want you
to meet me at this altar right now

close to the altar as you can

god is doing something powerful
god is doing something mighty
and you haven’t you you know you haven’t
believed in yourself in such a long time
because you were looking at your army
not recognizing that the armies of
heaven is all around you
you’re looking at an army in this realm
but the armies of heaven surround you
you see reminds me of elisha
when there were armies that came up
against him
and he had a servant who panicked
and he got anxious and scared
and he says the armies are coming
against us and elisha was just chilling
and then he had he prayed a prayer he
said god open the eyes
of my servant
so he can see
that those that are with us are greater
than those that are coming up against us
and god opened his servant’s eyes and he
saw angels all around
just holding their ground waiting
for whatever the lord wanted to do to
protect
his prophet
god has an army around you
god has an army around that idea
god has an army around your life

literally
you should not even be alive today
but there is an army of god around your
life

someone in particular there’s a scar
that the lord is highlighting to me this
scar
on your on your right arm
and it came from an accident
and while you’re still questioning god
like you know why did this happen and
all this what you’re failing to realize
that scar is just a reminder
there’s an army
literally surrounding you
who am i talking to you have a scar
on your right hand yes
actually come meet us at the altar

god sees you right where you are what i
love about god for those watching us
even right now all around the world

separated by his time and space
he knows where you are he knows when

and there’s an army of god all around

you see that lady
with this scar
stop doubting yourself
you need to run towards the thing that
god has called you to do stop looking at
the scar as a mark of whether god was
faithful or not
stop looking at the scar wondering god
where have you been
because the scar is a reminder i have an
army

to the things that god has put in your
heart
you will begin to see
the pressure of heaven
moving in the world
things will not even make sense that
will just start aligning itself
you have to move in excellence
trust in the timing of god

best i can with what you have charged me
to do
there is an army around you
even all around this room there are
angels of the lord
surrounding this place
there are angels of the lord surrounding
your lives

mentally want to keep them as haters

but let go of this whole thing of like

for me
and how can i put weight even on that
hater

family if you’re in this room and you
want to give your life to jesus
the truth is that there is no life
outside of him
the bible says that in him we live and
we move and we have our being
the real you is found in christ
outside of him there is nothing
i know many times we might be after a
spiritual high and and we we find
ourselves in all types of places
but the best supernatural experiences
you can even have is in christ
but because it is led by the holy spirit
you see sometimes a supernatural
experience outside of christ is
dangerous
because who gave you access
and what are they accessing as a result

but being in christ is the safest place
to be
it is the truest place to
be it is what we were created for
because earlier
past ebenezer and ty were talking about
the event our pastor is doing on
about breathing right
but even the breath that is in our body
who did it come from the lord
we are a living soul because of what
came out of him
and what does that tell you everything
about my life is connected to him
outside of him i cannot thrive
outside of him i don’t even know who i
am
so if you have not given your life to
jesus
you know right now you’re fluid you’re
just like you know i’m just testing the
waters of everything but there is a
conviction right now happening in your
heart
and you know that it’s time i stopped
playing games
and stop giving access to things that
are beneath me
the enemy is beneath you
why are you giving him authority in your
life

heavenly father i thank you for those
who are saying god i’ve used my gifts
i’ve used my talents to do things
outside of your nature
and lord in this moment i am repenting
lord connect me to the kingdom’s agenda
use my voice use my my everything that
you have given me
use my ideas use this vessel
for your glory
i will not limit myself to an industry
because my god is unlimited
my god is all power is all knowing he is
sovereign in everything
whatever you lead me to do
i will do that with obedience i thank
you god this is our prayer and our
declaration

and saying lord jesus i am committing my
life to you
i am committing my ways to you
i’m not trying to live in this fluid
lifestyle
i want to live and be everything that
you say i am and it starts with saying

that on the cross
the cross didn’t take your life
but on the cross you put to death sin
you put to death anything that could
come up against us
anything that could keep us bound
and when you were raised up
you raised us up as well
and so lord i thank you for your sons
and daughters who are tapping into their
raised up identity
the identity you’ve always known
have your way
