you know when i was a little girl i
would have these moments where i had
a scary dream and i didn’t know many
scriptures and i wasn’t really sure
about what you say in those moments but
i can remember being a little girl
and the old school mothers in our church
used to say
that when you don’t know what to say at
all just say
jesus jesus jesus jesus
and i would say that in dreams when i
got afraid i would say that
in real life when i got afraid there is
something about the name of jesus that
quite
literally makes the darkness tremble i
don’t know about you but i
am so glad we serve a god who sent us
protection in the middle of darkness
protection
in the middle of fear if you’re so
thankful say thank you god thank you god
thank you god in the comments
you make the darkness tremble you know
what i love too is sometimes you don’t
have enough strength on your own
to say jesus but god will create an
environment
where jesus is spoken over you and so i
speak jesus over your heart right now
jesus jesus jesus jesus over your fears
jesus over your anxiety jesus over your
insecurities
jesus jesus jesus type it in the
comments we speak jesus over youtube
i speak jesus over your household i
speak jesus over your heart
jesus over your mind jesus jesus jesus
jesus
i dare you to just start saying jesus
over and over again and see if you don’t
catch something
because we have a jesus
who makes the darkness tremble
so if you’re going through something
right now and it feels like a dark
season
and literally life has sucked the words
right out of your mouth i dare you to
take a moment
and just say jesus even if it’s in a
whisper
there’s nothing like the name of jesus
i am so so confirmed
and affirmed and validated and what i’ve
been speaking
and and just studying as i’ve been in
relationship with god about our time
together on this sunday and i feel like
now
more than ever that this word is
specifically for those of you who are
watching
if you attend tph1 la in denver then you
know already that i’m
always looking for just these
confirmations and that worship song to
me is just a confirmation that i’m in
the right space
in the right text and i’ve got a word
that is just for you it is not
too late to invite someone to church
come on somebody
it is not too late they don’t have to
get dressed they don’t have to fight
traffic they don’t have to find a
parking spot
take a moment and invite your friends
and family to be a part of this moment
we know summer is open outside is open
and so many of us
are out doing our things with our
friends but i feel like this is a word
and that your friends your family your
sphere of influence needs to be
in this space so while you’re inviting
them i’m going to dig into the word
i’m going to be in john
john 21.
my text begins in verse 15.
now this is the new king james version
of the bible
and i love this particular translation
because it still preserves some of the
king james text but then it also updates
it a little bit
and just to give you perspective so we
just came off of pentecost sunday
i’m going back in time biblically this
is before
pentecost sunday but it is after the
cross
and jesus as pt taught us is walking the
earth
after his resurrection and in the
process of walking the earth he goes
back to see his disciples
he sees them a couple times while he’s
still performing miracles and doing
other ministry but he has this specific
encounter with peter that i want to
present to you
because i believe that there is a lesson
here to be gleaned for our
own circumstance and situation
so we are in john 21 verse 15.
peter has gone back fishing when we find
him in the text
we were talking about someone who was a
disciple a devout follower of jesus you
knock if you but personified is peter
the disciple
he cut a man’s a soldier’s ear off who
was trying to get jiggy with jesus
okay peter does not play and yet when
jesus was headed to the cross
and they asked peter were you with that
man
the same loyalty that allowed him to cut
the ear off of
a soldier has now disappeared
he denies jesus three times
jesus is crucified he’s resurrected and
in this process of him being resurrected
and then walking the earth peter has
gone
back fishing because
it seems as if he failed in being a
disciple when it mattered the most
jesus comes to see him after he’s been
resurrected after he’s gone fishing and
he says
come on i want to eat together and my
text begins
it says so when they had eaten breakfast
jesus said to simon peter simon son
of judah do you love me
more than these more than these jesus
doesn’t specify
what these these are in this moment and
yet we recognize that he’s probably
talking about the disciples and the
gathering
and the fish do you love me more than
this
particular moment these series of
moments that brought us together
is our love bigger than a moment
he said to him yes lord you know that i
love you
he said to him feed my lambs
he said to him again a second time simon
son of judah
do you love me he said to him yes
lord you know that i love you and then
jesus says to him
tend my sheep he says to peter a
third time simon son of judah do you
love me
peter was grieved because he said to him
the third time
do you love me and he said to him lord
you know
all things you know that i love you
jesus then says well most assuredly i
say to you when you were
younger you girded yourself and walked
where you wished
but when you are old you will stretch
out your hands and another will gird you
and carry you where you do not wish
this he spoke signifying by what death
he would glorify god and when he had
spoken this
he said to him follow me
spirit of the living god we are gathered
here in our homes in our car
at our school in the office in our room
to have an encounter with you we did not
come for church
as usual or for church as we have known
it we have come for a divine
encounter that we know can only come
from heaven so father we make room for
you
to expand us in this moment
we make room for you to stretch us to
grow us to hold up a mirror that we may
not
just see ourselves but that we may see
you in a fresh new way we want to stand
in awe
of who you are and so god i pray that i
would be your vessel in this moment that
there would be none of me
and only you father you know that
i don’t always have it together you know
that i can do nothing on my own but
father you also know that if i am
willing to partner with you
that you can stand tall through me let
this be one of those moments
where your love your glory your power
your anointing
stands tall on the inside of me in jesus
name i pray
amen amen amen you know i want you to
type amen in the comments
amen amen even if you’re watching this
later i want you to type amen
because we want to come into alignment
we want to come into
agreement with the expectation for what
this moment is supposed to be

i’m not sure if you’re like me and
you’re beginning to feel like the world
is
opening again like
there’s kind of this feeling like the
pandemic is over
but maybe it’s not kind of over like
where do i wear my mask
where do i not wear my mask am i going
to get vaccinated
do they care if i get vaccinated or not
it feels as if the world is beginning to
open
up and now it’s making me think back
more about the quarantined
season the pandemic season in general
and how we spent
so much time at home we spent so much
time at home that we started doing
things we never thought that we could do
but
do before i cannot tell you how many
times i had packages delivered
on from amazon to make me become
and do something i’ve never done before
like i am not a nail technician
but when i am on amazon amazon makes me
believe that i can do things that i’ve
never gone to school for
never been trained for let me tell you
knotless braids not my jam i am
actually not a handyman these are all
things i discovered
during the pandemic now i also learned
to make bread and i learned
to cook different dishes there were so
many things about the pandemic that
allowed me to learn
more but there are some things that i
have decided i will
never try again never i don’t know if
that’s your testimony
if you try something i just want you to
be like i got you girl i totally
understand
it’s not for me either i learned so much
about what i will never
ever do again and there are these
moments
in our lives where we stick our neck out
there
and we attempt to do something and then
we realize
just how terrible we are at doing it
and so we say to ourselves i will never
do that again we shrink back
into a version of ourselves that doesn’t
dare to push beyond the limits of our
knowledge because there is nothing
more scary than having to be present in
the unknown there is nothing more scary
than being signed up for a task that
feels so much bigger than you
as a matter of fact the joy that i get
in trying new things
isn’t because i’m just trying something
new i get joy when i begin to master
what was once the unknown but has now
become something that i know how to do
but there is this in between between the
unknown and the known in which most of
us
give up all together that is
in fact where we find peter in this text
he has shrunk back
to what he knows because the last time
he lived outside of the realm of what he
knew he
failed he didn’t show up in the way he
should have shown up as a disciple
and a believer he should have been the
first one to say yes i know jesus
and been willing to deal with the
consequences of whatever that meant in
that time
but he was so afraid of the consequences
of that moment
that he found it easier to shrink back
it is so easy
to look at what happened with peter and
think to ourselves how could he i would
have never done that but yet
there are some of you watching who are
not watching in your fullest state
some of you are watching from your
shrunken
state you’re watching
because you’ve shrunk back
to a version of yourself that you used
to be
that doesn’t require as much integrity
that doesn’t require
so much obedience that doesn’t require
so much faith
and so much hope can i talk to some real
people today
there are moments in life when life
makes too much of a demand on us
and instead of rising to the occasion we
shrink back to what is comfortable
and what is known because living in the
unknown is difficult
and unsteady and uncertain and unstable
and yet
when we shrink back to what we know
we don’t live as fully as we should this
is
where peter is in this moment
and what peter doesn’t realize that you
are going to know because we’re learning
from the life of peter
is that there is no glory in the known
oh if you’re taking notes i want you to
write that down
there is no glory in what you
if you know it then there is no need for
there to be glory connected to it
because glory itself
is the manifestation of god’s presence
in your life
so when you shrink back to what you know
what you’re actually shrinking back is
into a space
and realm that does not require god’s
manifestation to show up in your life
there is no glory in the known the glory
is only in the unknown
the glory is only when you’re out of the
boat and you’re walking on water and
you’re trying to figure out if you can
keep your head above
water the glory is in the unknown the
glory is when you have to call on the
name of jesus because if you don’t call
on the name of jesus
you don’t know how you’re going to make
it from day to day today
the glory is in the unknown the glory is
in you being afraid
the glory is you wondering whether or
not god is with you and what i need to
do because who we become in the unknown
is someone who either gives up and
shrinks back or someone who makes a
demand
for god to fill in the spaces where i am
too small
if that is your testimony i want you to
take a moment and just type in the
comments fill me up fill me up fill me
up
i don’t know who you are but you’re
shrinking back to a version of yourself
that you are not
and i hear god saying the only way that
i can increase you
is to not actually increase you but to
increase more of my spirit down on the
inside of you
if you get more of god’s spirit then
you’re going to get god’s glory working
in your life
more of god’s spirit is more strategy
more of god’s spirit is more creativity
more of god’s spirit is more peace i
come against the spirit of shrinking
right now in the name of jesus
you will not go back to who you used to
be you will not go back to that lover
you will not go back to those drugs
you will not go back to that little
thinking you will not go back to that
bitterness
you will not go back to that depression
some of you are watching and you have
experienced glory before
and you’re thinking to yourself like
peter i will never experience glory
again
but god told me to send you this message
so that this message could remind you
that the glory days are not over
it’s not over it’s not over it’s not
over the glory is not over
it’s not over it’s not over it’s not
over the glory days are not over this
message if you want to take notes
is called the glory days because someone
has been lamenting about the glory days
of the past
and god is looking for someone who would
recognize that the glory days could be
every day it’s not over it’s not over
it’s not over
there’s still glory coming to your house
there’s still glory coming to your mind
god says i still want to show up glory
it’s when god shows up in your situation
and it is undeniable that he is still
there there’s glory coming to the way
you think
there’s glory coming to that role
there’s glory coming to that position
i hear god saying you haven’t even seen
me yet you’re sick of who i
used to be in your life you’re giving up
based off of who i used to be in your
life but i hear god saying that he’s got
manifold wisdom
he’s got manifold glory waiting for you
to behold it the glory the glory the
glory the glory
the glory the glory the glory is coming
to your house peter
thinks his best days are behind him
so he goes back to what he knows which
is fishing
i think that i’ve seen all the miracles
i’m gonna see
i think i’ve seen all the breakthrough
i’ve been going to see i think i’ve seen
all of the healing that i’m going to see
and yet he is still alive and you
are still alive and your breath is a
promise that the glory days can still
happen
every day but it takes an
acknowledgement
and sometimes even in a resting
to bring you back to glory oh god i feel
you on that
jesus is arresting peter in this moment
you have not lived until jesus has
arrested you
the jesus that we love is the one who
says he without sin cast the first stone
i want to talk about a different jesus i
want to talk about a jesus that will
shut every door possible peter couldn’t
even go back to fishing you got to read
this whole chapter when you get a chance
peter tries to go back to fishing but he
can’t capture
any fish he used to be a fisherman and
now he’s out in the boat
all night long he can’t capture any fish
because you cannot go back to who you
used to be
once you’ve had an encounter with god
somebody’s having this moment with me
right now
and they’re thinking to themselves what
i need is a better connection
what i need is another degree what i
need is another class another friend
another level and i hear god saying that
what you really need is another
encounter
because if you get another encounter you
will never go back
to who you used to be before peter
cannot even go back to fishing
now what he used to do won’t even work
unless jesus approves it
because in this chapter jesus tells him
once he’s been out all night fishing he
says throw the net to the other side of
the
boat he throws the net to the other side
of the boat
and now suddenly the net is full of fish
he’s not even
effective at who he used to be without
jesus and i know i’m talking to somebody
today
who is there to go back to who they used
to be and they couldn’t even function
the way they were supposed to function
i used to enjoy doing this before i had
an encounter but now when i go back
it doesn’t even feel the same way i hear
god saying that that’s jesus’s way of
arresting you
to bring you back to where you belong i
hear god saying as long as you’re
uncomfortable he’s going to be happy
because when you’re uncomfortable you
get desperate to have an encounter with
him
somebody is being arrested right now i’m
watching you’re watching this message
and you’re being arrested
you’re watching this message and god has
sent out an amber alert for you
god said someone has gone missing
somebody is not in position somebody’s
not where they’re supposed to be and i
hear god saying there’s a warrant for
your arrest
there’s a warrant for your arrest
there’s a warrant for your arrest the
warren is trying to bring you to glory
the warren is trying to introduce you to
who god has always known you could be
there is a warrant
there’s a warrant and god’s searching
and he’s sending words and he’s sending
messages
and descending people and friends and
he’s sending everyone after you
because there’s a warrant for your
arrest i’m trying to bring you back to
who i knew you could be
i’m trying to bring you back to the
place of glory i hear god saying
this is not coincidence this is a divine
moment a divine assignment for you to
step into what god has always known
about you
and god is so serious about you that he
will come down from heaven
wrap himself in flesh and call himself
jesus
and walk the earth so that you can still
have connection
to who god is because there’s a war for
your arrest that’s why jesus came to the
earth because there was a warrant for
humanity’s arrest
god said i want my people back god says
i want you to be in alignment again
i want you to understand that there is
restoration
available to you there is a warrant for
peter’s arrest
peter has lost
where he fits
so i’m no longer really a fisherman
but i’m not quite a disciple either
have you ever lost
where you fit i’m not quite this but i
know i’m not quite that either
peter is in this moment
where nothing is working
nothing fits and jesus
jesus has this moment where he comes
down to speak with him
because he needs for him to recognize
that when you don’t fit god
will meet you wherever you are
god is a one-size-fits-all kind of god
god fits wherever you are even if you
don’t know where you fit
i’m going to say that again because it
feels like one of those things that
sounds funny but doesn’t make that
much sense but also makes all the sense
in the world
when you don’t know where you fit god
always knows how to fit you
that means that you don’t have to know
where you fit in order to have an
encounter with god
because god is a one-size-fits-all kind
of god
broken and depressed god says i can fit
that confused and
unsure of who you are god says i can fit
that on the top of the mountain filled
with so much joy god says i can fit that
i’m a one-size-fits-all god
you don’t have to have it all together
you don’t have to be in position
i’ll come right to where you are jesus
realizes that peter has gone back
fishing
he doesn’t wait for peter to come to the
tomb he doesn’t wait for peter to go
back to the cross
he comes right to where peter is because
we serve a one size fits all kind of
jesus
that will get back right where you are
teen mom i can fit that
going through an abortion i can fit that
going through a divorce i can fit that
broken and bitter i can fit that i am a
one-size-fits-all kind of jesus and the
reason why we serve a one-size-fits-all
kind of jesus
is because at the end of the day i gotta
get to where you are so i can take you
to where you are supposed to be
i can fit wherever you are unsure of
this promotion that’s all right i can
fit that
because once you allow me to get into
whatever situation and circumstance
you’re in
i promise i’m not going to leave you
there i’m not going to keep you there
all i need is an
invitation because with an invitation i
can break down your walls
i can break down your mentality i can
break down your excuses
i am a one-size-fits-all kind of jesus
and all you have to do is call on my
name
and the glory can begin right then
so peter he’s in it now
because jesus has come looking for him
and in this moment in our text
jesus helps us to realize that this is
more than just making sure that peter
gets into position
this is more than just getting peter to
remember who he used to be
this is about positioning peter so that
he can become the church in which jesus
will build upon
jesus in this moment
says to peter do you love me
do you love me more than these
this is where so many of us end up
having separation
in our relationship with god it’s
because we love the moments
more than we love the receiver the
person who gives us those moments
we love the moments when we
feel god’s presence when it’s tangible
when we can touch it we love
those moments more than we actually love
him
i wish i could say that the way i feel
it in my spirit
but most of the time some of us
are only in relationship for what we can
get
i want a moment and when you only are
chasing a moment you miss out on
presence
and it is important for jesus to help
peter to understand
that loving me more than you love
moments is the only key to learning how
to walk with me
because every day is not going to be a
moment you enjoy and yet i will
still be in you with you and around you
if you learn to walk with me
do you love me more than these he asked
peter
and peter responds he says
yes lord you know that i love you
and then he says feed my lambs there’s a
sequence in this
text that i feel is so important to our
journey
as i was studying and praying
i just felt like god was saying that the
glory days
the glory days are happening right now
the glory days are not behind us the
glory days are not and what used to be
the glory days are available now to
those who are willing
to step out of what they have known and
into the unknown but to do it with me by
their side
jesus is having this conversation with
peter because he’s asking him
to step out of what you know step out of
what you’ve been comfortable with
step out of the world and the paradigms
that have made you comfortable
and do something you’ve never had to do
before feed my lambs you see
peter at this point was just living in
the overflow of what jesus was doing
but jesus says i’m now calling you to go
from living in the overflow to stepping
into being a part of what i’m doing in
the earth
i’m taking you from living in the
overflow to becoming a participant
i don’t know who you are but oh i feel
god on this somebody’s about to become a
participant
you used to be a standing on the
sidelines you used to be someone who was
just watching
and living in the overflow of someone
else’s blessings and someone else’s
intellect and someone else’s flow
but i hear god saying that he has called
all of us to step into our own
definition of glory days
and in order to step into our own
definition of glory days we are going to
have to become participants
it’s time for you to do what you’ve been
seeing peter is
having this moment where it’s time for
him to start doing everything that
you’ve seen it’s time for you to start
leading meetings
it’s time for you to start building a
family it’s time for you to start
building the business it’s time for you
to start writing the book
you’ve been exposed long enough now i’m
telling you to step into it
god didn’t just call us to be someone
who watched on the sidelines
he says i came to establish the kingdom
of heaven and i cannot establish the
kingdom of heaven with spectators
i’ve got to establish the kingdom of
heavens with people who are called to be
participants you are watching this
message and i came to make a demand on
your participation
i came to make a demand on the version
of you that recognizes that i am not
just called to be on the sideline
i hear god saying it’s time for somebody
to roll up their sleeves if that’s you
say it’s me
it’s me it’s me it’s time for you to
start rolling up your sleeves to
establish the kingdom of heavens there
are lambs there are people
there are entities that are hungry and
dying and
empty because there are so few people
willing to
feed my lamps tend to my
sheep you see the emptiness but do you
see your participation
participation let’s talk about the
process that we see in this text
when it begins in first 15 it says so
then after they had
eaten breakfast now that you’re full
now that you’ve gotten back in position
now that you remember who i am and you
recognize my ability to perform miracles
oh god i don’t know who you are
now that you have seen that everything
you try to do without me is going to
fail
and now that you finally come to this
place where you’re getting filled up
again
i’m going to tell you that you being
filled up is not just for the sake of
you
i want to talk about the counterfeit
glory that that’s that this culture
sells us there is a counterfeit glory
that the culture sells
us and this counterfeit glory would have
you to believe
that it is all about you getting glory
for yourself
but this moment with jesus and peter is
assigned to us
that the real glory is not about you
storing it up for yourself
the real glory is about you pouring it
out to those who are
in need jesus says to peter so when they
had eaten breakfast
now that you’re full now that you got
what i came to give you
now that i’ve pulled you out of that
depression now that i’ve pulled you out
of that darkness
now that you’ve been filled up i need
you to feed somebody
in the same way that you have been fed i
need you to tend to my sheep in the same
way that you have been tended to
and that’s why we got to be in
relationship with god because if we’re
not in relationship with god
then we’ll just think that we’re
supposed to just get and get and get but
god says can you partner with me
for the real glory ah peter’s got to
know
that the glory days were not just when
jesus was walking the earth
that that was just the beginning of the
glory days
and i want you to know that even in 2021
that the glory days are not over that
god is still manifesting his power on
earth
that god is still performing miracles on
earth that the glory of god is still
present on the earth and yet he needs an
environment and people who recognize
that it can still happen
so he has this dialogue in this
back and forth with peter
and as i was thinking about this moment
and this exchange with the two of them
i couldn’t help but consider
that while peter had gone back to what
he knew
that he did so at the expense
of forgetting what else he knew
sure he knew fishing sure he spent more
time being a fisherman than he spent
being a disciple
but even that short window of being a
disciple
deposited experiences on the inside of
him
that he cannot forsake even though he
experienced failure
isn’t it crazy how failure makes us
forget what we’ve known
how disappointment makes us forget what
we’ve known how
distractions make us forget what else we
know
when peter experiences this failure he
goes back to what he knew
but i felt like when jesus was saying
feed my lamb
feed my sheep but he was saying don’t
forget what else you know
that when we were walking together don’t
forget the multitudes
don’t forget when we took the mud and
put it in the man’s eyes and
and he was able to see again don’t
forget the woman with the issue of blood
don’t forget what else you know
don’t forget those moments where you
knew you felt the presence of god
don’t forget those moments when you laid
yourself out on the altar and had divine
encounters
don’t forget the moments where the
presence was so strong you couldn’t find
any words at all
don’t forget what else you know because
if i can get you back to what else you
know
then i can help you to survive the
unknown
just because you didn’t master it
doesn’t mean that you don’t have an
attempt to get back
in it feed my sheep tend to my sheep
i’m getting ready to close
there is a part in this text that i
cannot ignore
i have to tell you that even my mind has
been conditioned
to leave every message with this happily
ever after happy note
and yet and verse
18 peter
and jesus are having this exchange and
jesus doesn’t just say
feed my sheep he says most assuredly i
say to you
when you were younger you girded
yourself and walked where you wished
but when you are old you will stretch
out your hands
and another will gird you and carry you
where you do not wish
everything in me wanted to believe that
this meant that
that peter was going to do so well that
he he lived and
and people just carried him everywhere
he went and he just had to point out
things and they would come to him
but when i studied this part of the
scripture what i realized is that jesus
was telling him
that if you feed my sheep
you will become a target
if you do this the way that you saw me
do it
ah you can expect for there to be
opposition
if you do this the way that you saw me
do it then you can expect that you will
have enemies if you do this
the way that i taught you to do it then
you are going to have moments in which
you feel afraid and when it feels like
someone is out
looking for you trying to make you come
down from who you are
called to be and yet
the beauty of this moment is not
in that you’re going to have this
happily ever after
fantasy what you’re going to have
instead is glory
ever after you can miss me with the
fairy tales
i don’t need a happily ever after i want
a glory
ever after because what jesus says to
him is that even when they are
crucifying you
even when you are under attack even when
you have become a target because of you
because you have decided to follow me
that even when you are a target you will
still glorify me even in attack
that the glory is still going to pour
out of you even in the middle of a text
i want someone to know who is watching
this message that the attack is just
producing more glory
i want someone to understand that when
you feel like i’ve been doing everything
the right way
i don’t understand how this could be
happening to me god i need you to help
me understand how this could happen and
i hear god saying
that you got to remember that walking
with me was not just about happy moments
walking with me was about producing
glory and jesus wants peter to know
that if you feed my sheep you’re going
to become so aligned with who i
am that there will be moments when you
are under attack but even when you are
under attack there will still be glory
connected to your name
i want someone to know that the glory
days are still here i want someone to
understand that the glory days are still
connected to your house
even when you’re under attack that
you’re really under glory even when
you’re under depression you’re really
under glory i hear god saying the lower
life takes you the higher the glory can
spring from on
from the inside of you and someone who’s
watching today
doesn’t even realize
that even in darkness
even in despair or confusion
that these are glory days too
there was a transformation a renewing
of peter’s mind in this text
peter had to go from being someone who
just went back to being a fisherman
to someone who remembered that it was
never really about my comfort
it was never really about me sticking to
what i know
that i felt the more impact the most
empowered and the most powerful
when i was in the unknown but i was
still
in the presence of god
i want to talk to someone i want to pray
with someone
who’s watching today and you’re thinking
to yourself

i want to be hungry for the glory days
i don’t want to believe that the glory
days apply to everyone else around me
but not
actually to me i don’t want the glory
days to be
something of the past i want to believe
that each day that i am
alive is an opportunity for me to
experience
god’s glory experiencing god’s glory
takes such intentionality
but i’ll tell you one of the first
things that it requires
and this is what i’m going to pray for
for you
it requires hunger
remember verse 15 when this began it
says so when they had
eaten breakfast peter started off
hungry before he got to glory
he started off hungry and confused and
and lost because he didn’t understand
why the thing that he knew
to do the thing that he knew more than
anything wasn’t even working anymore
he started off hungry glory is not for
the full
glory is for those of us who take time
to recognize
that i’m empty without you
and yes we’re going to have seasons
where is glory to glory to glory that
means we’re going to have moments where
we feel
so full and we feel so energized and we
feel like we’re on top of the world and
that will become our
known but the glory is in the unknown
and if you are afraid of the unknown you
could miss
the glory the glory that exists for
today
i want to pray with you i want to pray
for your hunger
i want to pray for your emptiness

i want to pray that god’s presence would
meet you in a fresh new way
that even in those times where you felt
like i’m giving up
i’m giving up and going back to what i
know i’m giving up and going back to
something that isn’t so expensive
i’m giving up because i failed i’m
giving up because i’m disappointed with
life and the world around me and yet
god has sent this message much like
jesus came
looking for peter because someone has to
understand
that that emptiness is producing glory
father i thank you for
those who are watching who didn’t even
realize that they were empty
those who are watching who didn’t even
realize that they were hungry those who
are working and didn’t even realize they
were hungry
not for things not for people not for
relationships god they’re hungry for
glory
father i pray right now that you would
bring clarity to the deficiency that
exists in their minds
that you would bring clarity to the
areas of their life where they
are malnourished not because someone
else didn’t feed them but because they
didn’t have an opportunity to experience
your glory
i pray fresh fire down in the name of
jesus
the kind of fire that burns up excuses
the kind of fire that burns up who i
used to be
the kind of fire that makes going back
to the known impossible and standing in
the unknown
the only reality that we are willing to
accept because god we recognize that it
is in the unknown that your glory shows
up
i speak power right now in the name of
jesus may the power of god begin to fall
fresh on every person who is watching
father so that they can
experience glory for the road that is
ahead of him
father there are some of us who are
called
to do things that feel bigger than us
god we don’t know why you chose us we
don’t know why you use this
and yet we’re standing here anyway
father our prayer is that you would
teach us what you know about us that we
don’t fully understand
that you would allow for your glory to
meet us in the areas where we’re empty
hurting broken inadequate
and as your glory falls on that spot
before we pick up and just move about
with your glory
may we take a minute and stand in awe
that your glory still touches the earth
that with the right atmosphere in the
right environment that your glory can
still reach us that today
is a glory
every day that we wake up father i pray
that we would wake up in the
consciousness that today is a glory day
that we would seek out your glory
how can i experience the manifestation
of your presence and your power
in my life god may your glory fall today
and every day for every person watching
forgive us for shrinking back
forgive us for being small smaller than
who you’ve called us to be but thank you
but you are a one-size-fits-all god
and even when we’re small you’ll meet us
but you won’t leave us there father i
pray that this message has pushed
someone closer to where they are
supposed to be
may we bask in your glory and trust it
every single day
