uh i’ve heard it said at bethel that

nothing happens in the kingdom without

first being a declaration uh can you

explain more

what that means it would be incorrect to

say

god can’t do anything unless we say

something yeah that that wouldn’t be

right

but the emphasis is on the declaration

because of our role of co-laboring

it’s vital that we say what we’re saying

even god

i mean he spoke things into being

there’s something about the declared

word that really

helps to facilitate his purposes

you know even even jesus said

everything that father has is mine and

the holy spirit

is taking what is mine and he will

declare it to you so

even the spirit of god made a decree to

transfer resource from jesus’s account

to ours

and so the declaration is all the way

through the nature of god

and therefore the nature of the believer

life and death is in the power of the

tongue there’s something about

the spoken word the declared word and to

harness

our mouth was the big challenge you know

in scripture that if

if you you’re a perfect if you’ve got

according to james that’s always blown

my mind yeah you can manage your mouth

and you’re a perfect man you’re there

yeah and so

what we’re working to do is to become

much more intentional to hear what god

is saying and make the decree

agree with him make not only the

confession but i

i think sometimes it’s like a prophetic

decree that we’ve heard something from

the lord

it’s now time for us to say it and i’ve

had situations where

i mean i know i know for a fact that

something didn’t happen until it was

decreed

i mean it was actually it sounds strange

i don’t know how to describe in the time

that we have but it was almost like

something was withheld

until the decree was made when the

decree was made

that that reality was released into that

situation and reversed it

wow and you know i don’t like you using

it as a formula because then you start

trying to basically control god with our

words that’s that’s dumb but

but it’s still it’s still a very real

principle mm-hmm
