ANNOUNCER: The Believer’s Walk
of Faith is paid for by Bill

Winston Ministries
partners and viewers.

ANNOUNCER: Up next, on the
Believer’s Walk of Faith.

BILL: All I have to do is
have faith, because faith

is going to get me into God’s
ability, and there’s nothing

too hard for God. If
I can get faith, a certain

amount of faith, then
that faith can trigger God’s

ability in my life. I can
operate on the level of

my father, because he is
going to be doing the work.

BILL: This is Bill
Winston and welcome to the

Believer’s Walk of Faith,
where we walk by faith

and not by sight. Do you
have dreams and goals that God

has placed in your heart
to achieve? Well, I’ve

found out something. It’s
not our job to achieve, it’s our

job to believe and receive.
That’s powerful, isn’t it? The

Word of God does the work, and
when you get in faith, you’re

going to see that you can
release the Word of God itself

and the Word of God will do the
work for you. Now, I’m not

saying go sit on the park bench
and feed the pigeons, but what I

am saying is no longer will you
get all frustrated, anxious, so

forth. You’ll come to a rest and
you’re going to watch the Word

do the work. Let’s go into
today’s message. You’ll see what

I’m talking about. It’s called
Developing Strong Faith.

BILL: The more faith
you have, the more of

God’s ability you have
at your disposal. Now,

what we are saying is this
is God’s ability. God’s

ability, not yours. He said
what God promised, He was able

also to do, what? To perform.
See, what God promised, He’s

also able to perform. Over
in the book of Numbers, chapter

23 and verse 19, he says, “God
is not a man, that he should

lie; neither the son of man,
that he should repent: hath he

said, and shall he not do it? Or
hath he spoken, and shall he not

make it good?” Who’s going to
make it good? AUDIENCE: God.

BILL: God’s going to
make it good. He said it, he’s

going to make it
good. AUDIENCE: Amen.

BILL: Are you with
me? AUDIENCE: Yes. BILL:

See, your job is not to achieve,
your job is to receive. Now,

let’s go to Isaiah chapter 55.
He says on verse 11, he says,

“So shall my word be that goeth
forth out of my mouth: it shall

not return unto me void, but it
shall accomplish that which I

please, and it shall prosper in
the thing whereto I sent it.”

Now I want you to see this.
Because you don’t accomplish

this, the Word does the work. I
said, the Word does the work.

Let’s go to another one. I’m
trying to get this in your mind

because he is saying be strong
in the who? Lord. You can’t be

strong in the Lord without being
strong in faith. Because what I

said is the more faith that you
have, the more of God’s ability

you’re going to have at your
disposal. Let’s look at Mark,

chapter 16. All right, look what
he said in verse 15, “And he

said, ‘Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every

creature. He that believeth and
is baptized shall be saved; but

he that believeth not shall be
damned. And these signs shall

follow them that believe. In my
name shall they cast out devils;

they shall speak with new
tongues and if they drink any

deadly thing, it shall not hurt
them; and they shall lay hands

on the sick, and they shall
recover.’ After the Lord had

spoken unto them, he was
received up into heaven, and sat

on the right hand of God. And
they went forth, and preached,”

how many places? Everywhere. The
Lord working, what? With them,

and doing what? Confirming the
word with signs following. We

can’t get into this thing
thinking, “We’re doing this.”

Let’s go to one more place John,
John chapter 14 please. John

chapter 14, this is very vital
that you learn this right here,

because this helps you to build
your trust in God. John 14,

verse 10, “Believest thou that I
am in the Father, and the Father

in me? The words that I speak
unto you I speak not of myself:

but the Father that dwelleth in
me,” what’s happening? He’s

doing the work. Who is this
speaking? AUDIENCE: Jesus.

BILL: Jesus. How do you
know it’s Jesus? It’s in red.

Who is doing the work?
AUDIENCE: God. BILL:

God, the Father is doing the
work. Then he says in verse 12,

“Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, the

works that I do shall he do
also;” and what, “greater works

than these shall he do;” because
I’m going where? To the Father.

He’s not telling you you’re just
going to do his work. You’re

going to do greater but they’re
going to be proportional to your

faith in God. Your faith is
going to have to be in him and

his ability to do things for he
that promise is faithful to do

it. The stronger my faith, the
more of God’s ability I’m going

to experience. Why? Because I’m
going to be able to move God’s

ability through that faith.
You’re not forcing God to do

something. What you’re doing is
allowing Him to do something

because He’s got to act
proportional to your faith.

That’s why I said if you don’t
have some faith in these last

days, you better go find
somebody that’s got some. What

happened is Jesus said something
about faith. Look at it and

you’ll find it over here in
Luke’s Gospel chapter 18. He

said in verse 8, “I tell you
that he will avenge them

speedily. Nevertheless when the
Son of man cometh, shall he

find,” what, “faith on the
earth?” That tells me that that

enemy is after destroying every
bit of faith that’s in this

earth because that is the only
way we are going to stop the

devil from stopping us.
AUDIENCE: Amen.

BILL: Faith, say it.
AUDIENCE: Faith.

BILL: Faith. Praise God.
What’s happening here as we

study this faith and we study it
from Romans chapter 4, verse 17

through 21, we are in a faith
refresher. Our faith refresher

says I’m going to make you fresh
again. I’m going to refresh

that. I’m going to make it clear
again. I’m going to give you a

tune-up. Why? Because I want you
to have greater performance. Are

you following what I’m saying.
This is all by the Holy Ghost of

course. What we said basically
this is mostly about growing up

spiritually. The things that we
have been given as food has not

brought us out of babyhood.
AUDIENCE: Amen.

BILL: I said the other reason
why we see the church in its

infant state or baby state or
Paul said when you should be on

meat you’re still on milk is
because the Word hasn’t been

acted on. It hasn’t been acted
on. We have been hearing it but

not doing it and so church had
just become a tradition. You’re

attending church service. We
just come because that’s what we

do. See? Is church supposed to
be so vibrant, so alive? I mean,

when the music comes like that,
you want to feel something

inside. Praise God, I want to
dance and sing, not get so old.

Are you following what I’m
saying? Now, I’m not talking

about anybody because I’m going
to show you Abraham was 100

years old. What happened to him?
He’s still singing and shouting

and doing other things. That’s
all I’m going to say about that.

Okay, all right. Now, okay so
Paul is teaching us faith and

he’s using Abraham as an object
lesson and showing us how

Abraham brought his child into
being at an old age. What

happened was God came to Abraham
and told him, look at Genesis

chapter 15 please. In Genesis
chapter 15, God spoke to

Abraham, he said this. God of
course provoked by Abraham, he

said in verse 1, “After these
things the Word of the Lord came

unto Abram in a vision, saying,
Fear not, Abram: I am thy

shield, and thy exceeding great
reward.” If you looked that up

in the Hebrew I think they said
I am your salary. He said in

verse 2, “And Abram said, ‘Lord
God, what will you give me,

seeing I go childless, and the
steward in my house is this

Eliezer of Damascus?’ And Abram
said, ‘Behold, unto me you have

given no seed: and, lo, one born
in my house is my heir.’ Behold,

the word of the LORD came unto
him, saying, ‘This shall not be

your heir; but he that shall
come forth out of your own

bowels shall be your heir.'” So
out of your own body. “And he

brought him forth abroad, and
said, ‘Look now unto heaven, and

tell the stars, if you be able
to number them:’ and he said

unto him, ‘So shall thy seed
be.'” In other words, I’m going

to bless you even generationally
and globally. Verse 6, ‘And he

believed in the Lord; and he
counted to him for

righteousness.” All right,
let’s look over here in Genesis

chapter 18, and verse 9. Here
comes some angels now visiting

Abram or his name was Abraham at
that time, “And they said unto

him, ‘Where is Sarah thy wife?’
And he said, ‘Behold, she’s in

the tent.’ And he said, ‘I will
certainly return unto thee

according to the time of life;
and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall

have a son.’ And Sarah heard it
in the tent door, which was

behind him. And Abraham and
Sarah were old and well stricken

in age; and it ceased to be with
Sarah after the manner of women.

Therefore Sarah,” what, “laughed
within herself, saying, ‘After I

am waxed old shall I have
pleasure, my lord being,” she

put him right in there, “my lord
being old also?'” Say amen.

AUDIENCE: Amen. BILL:
That’s why I tell my

wife sometimes, I say, “Call me
lord, will you please?” No, no,

no. Can’t say that around the
house. Amen, you’ve got to be

anointed to say that. Praise
God. “And the Lord said unto

Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah
laugh, saying, Shall I of a

surety bear a child, which am
old?” Watch this, “Is any thing

too hard for the Lord?”
Underline that, highlight it,

put a star by it, whatever you
got. All I have to do is have

faith because faith is going to
get me into God’s ability and

there’s nothing too hard for
God. If I can get faith and get

a certain amount of faith, then
that faith can trigger God’s

ability in my life and I can
operate on the level of my

father. AUDIENCE: Amen. BILL:
Because He’s going to

be doing the work. Say amen to
that. AUDIENCE: Amen.

BILL: We see all kinds of
faith. We saw in the epistle the

shipwrecked faith. We saw over
in Matthew chapter 14, there was

little faith. Peter was walking
on the water and all of a sudden

he looked away and began to sink
and Jesus said, “O Peter, thou

of little faith. Why did you
doubt?” We saw in Mark chapter 4

when they were going over on the
boat, the storm came up. Jesus

said, “How is it that you have
zero faith?” There’s all levels

of faith, strong faith, weak
faith, little faith and so

forth. Let’s go over there and
this is John, John chapter 6 and

let’s just go and look at little
boy faith. Little boy faith,

okay. Look what it says in verse
5, “When Jesus then lifted up

his eyes, he saw a great company
come to him, and he said to

Philip, ‘Where can we buy bread,
that these may eat?’ And he said

this to prove him: for he
himself knew what he would do.”

Prove means to test. After you
go through a course at school,

at the end of the semester you
have a what? AUDIENCE: Test.

BILL: Test. Now, after
Jesus takes him through a

course, he gives him a test. All
right, “Philip answered him,

‘Two hundred pennyworth of bread
is not sufficient for them, that

every one of them may take a
little.'” Now, wait, wait, wait

let’s go back to that verse
again. Let’s go and do it in NIV

please. Now look at what he
says, “Philip answered him, ‘It

would take more than a half
year’s wages to buy enough

bread for each one to have a
bite!'” Then notice what he’s

done. He now has taken what God
told him to do, what Jesus told

him to do and converted it into
how long he was going to have to

work. Got it? Now, God didn’t
want to pull Peter off his

assignment of preaching the
gospel, so he’s got a way that

he can make sure that your needs
are met without you having

additional jobs. AUDIENCE:
Amen. BILL: He’s got you

in a job but He’s got you in a
job and that’s your job that

He’s given to you. It’s called
your assignment. When you’re in

that assignment, it’s several
things that He wants happening.

He wants not only for you to be
perfected in that assignment but

He wants you to be a witness in
that assignment. You don’t

necessarily be a witness by
beating somebody over the head

with the Bible or staying on the
phone talking about Jesus all

day, all right? I just wanted to
say that, praise the Lord. “One

of his disciples, Andrew, Simon
Peter’s brother, said to him,

‘There is a lad here, which has
five barley loaves, and two

small fishes: but what is that
among so many?’ And Jesus said,

‘Make the men sit down.’ Now
there was much grass in the

place. So the men sat down, in
number about five thousand. And

Jesus took the loaves.” Now
understand, these loaves came

from who? The little boy. Now he
offered them up, got it? Once

Jesus got them, they changed
kingdoms. Meaning that they went

from one jurisdiction to
another. He can’t do anything

with it as long as you’ve got
it. Now all you have to do is go

to 1 Peter chapter 5 and you’ll
see that. It says in 1 Peter

chapter 5, “Casting all your
care over on him; for he cares

for you.” AUDIENCE: Amen.
BILL: Let’s see what I’m

saying. What would happen if you
don’t cast your care over on

him? Then he won’t care for you.
He can’t do anything with it. He

can’t do a thing with it. Try
it, and you can’t cast part of

it. You’ve got to follow the
scriptures. Cast all your care,

so notice what you’re doing.
You’re taking it from your

jurisdiction to his
jurisdiction. God is taking care

of me. AUDIENCE: Amen. BILL:
He doesn’t want me to

worry a toil one bit, so if it
comes up and it looks like it’s

trying to worry me, here it goes
boom. You got it. Now, that is

not you are trying to avoid
issues or situations. You’re

being biblical. The world’s way
to do that, to handle that is to

worry all night. AUDIENCE:
Amen. BILL: The Bible

says that God doesn’t sleep or
slumber, so if He’s awake why do

I have to stay awake? Get some
sleep. Is this okay?

AUDIENCE: Yes. BILL:
“And then Jesus took the loaves;

and when he had given thanks, he
distributed to his disciples,

and the disciples to them that
were set down; and likewise of

the fishes as much as they
would.” Wow, “And when they were

filled, he said unto his
disciples, ‘Now, gather up the

fragments that remain, that
nothing be lost.’ Therefore they

gathered them together, and
filled twelve baskets with the

fragments of the five barley
loaves, which remained over and

above unto them that had eaten.”
Why? Because they had to take

the harvest of the seed back to
the one who sowed the seed.

AUDIENCE: Amen. BILL: Now
who sowed the seed?

AUDIENCE: The boy. BILL:
Now, the Bible says in

Romans chapter 12, verse 1, “I
beseech you, brethren, by the

mercies of God, that you present
your bodies a living sacrifice,

holy, acceptable unto God, which
is your reasonable service. And

be not conformed to this world:
but be you transformed by the

renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good, and

acceptable, and perfect, will of
God. For I say, through the

grace given unto me, to every
man that is among you, not to

think of himself more highly
than he ought to think; but to

think soberly, according as God
has dealt to,” how many men,

“every man the,” what?
AUDIENCE: Measure of faith.

BILL: Measure of faith,
so if you get saved you’ve got a

measure of faith. If you’ve got
a measure of faith, glory to

God, then that faith is the same
faith I got when I got saved.

Say amen. AUDIENCE: Amen.
BILL: If a person is 80

years old and gets saved, is
that the same faith?

AUDIENCE: Yes. BILL:
If the person is 12 years old

and gets saved, is that the same
faith? AUDIENCE: Yes.

BILL: Now, what does the
work? It’s not you that does the

work. He said what, six months
wages. In other words, if I go

work for six months. No, no, no,
we’re going to put faith to

work. AUDIENCE: Yes.
BILL: Say amen to this.

AUDIENCE: Amen. BILL:
We’re going to put

faith to work, so what happened
is the little boy sat and heard

the word. Now, what came he
heard it? AUDIENCE: Faith.

BILL: Faith, and now
he’s got to act on that faith.

He’s saying let’s act on it. The
little boy offered up his

lunchbox. Folks, that little boy
had all the assurance in his

spirit that his food was coming
back. Someway you ought to get

convinced that wait a minute,
this works. AUDIENCE: Yes.

BILL: The little boy’s
faith was capable of feeding

20,000 just like one of the
disciple’s faith was capable of

feeding 20,000. How do I know
the disciples had enough faith

to do it? Because Jesus said the
things that I do, come on, you

can do too. Jesus is only one
person and his faith fed 20,000

so you know your faith could
feed 20,000. I’m saying when you

go to that job, don’t go to that
job looking for that job to meet

your need. You go to that job
saying I’m going to help this

job meet their bottom line.
Praise God. I’m going to use my

faith. Are you following what
I’m saying? AUDIENCE: Yes.

BILL: See, when you do
that, God promotes you.

AUDIENCE: Yeah. BILL:
Because you’re working

as unto the Lord, you’re not
working for that person. You’re

on assignment. Little boy faith,
so instead of running the kids

out to be playing in the street,
then bring them back in here and

help believe you with God to
pay off this car. AUDIENCE:

Amen. BILL: Say, “Micah,
come in here and praise God

we’re going to pay this car off
today.” Come on in here and wrap

your faith together. Say
amen. AUDIENCE: Amen.

BILL: I’m telling you it’s
like dynamite. One stick won’t

blow that door open but you can
wrap two sticks together, boom,

something will happen. I think
we’re still sitting around

waiting on the wealth transfer,
like one day it’s going to be

announced. All of a sudden money
is going to come. No, you’re

able to use your faith right now
and transfer wealth into your

hands. Why? So we can
spread the gospel.

BILL: Well, I trust that
you were blessed by today’s

powerful teaching. Now,
I’d like to take this

time to thank all of our
partners for your faithful

prayers and financial support.
Together we are obeying God’s

great commission. He said, “Go
into all the world and preach

the gospel to every creature.”
Now, I encourage those of you

who are not partnering with us
to be a part of this wonderful

work. God is really blessing
this ministry. We are going to

the nations of the world,
bringing souls in that probably

could never have been reached
unless we went. It’s a powerful

work, and we’d like you to join
us. It reminds me of the law of

association. It’s amazing what
happened with Lot as he followed

his uncle Abraham. It says the
Bible talks about God called

Abraham. He said, “Come out from
your kindred, your kind, from

the place where you are in the
land of Er.” This is Genesis

chapter 12, verse 1, “into a
land that I’m going to show you.

I’ll bless you; make your name
great, and you will be a

blessing. I’ll bless those that
bless you, curse those who curse

you; and then these all nations
of the earth be blessed. So

Abraham departed, and Lot with
him.” Lot was his nephew. He

didn’t call Lot, but Lot
followed Abraham and because he

followed Abraham in Genesis
chapter 13, it said that Abraham

was rich and got very rich and
then it also said that Lot got

rich as well. Now, what did he
do? He just followed him. What

was he doing? It was the law of
association. You see, sometimes

you can be associated with
somebody that’s blessed and

you’ll get blessed yourself.
Look at Luke chapter 5, that’s

the same thing that happened
really basically. Over in Luke

chapter 5 where Peter was a
fisherman. He had been on all

night and caught nothing,
washing his net and then what

happened? He came, Jesus asked
to use his boat and he said yes

and Jesus got in the boat and he
said push out from the land and

Jesus sat down and began to
teach to people out of the boat.

Well, then once he had finished
he asked Peter, “Launch out into

the deep and let down your net
for a draught.” Now what’s

draught? It’s a great increase.
Peter said, “Lord, we’ve fished

all night and caught nothing.
But nevertheless at your word

I’ll launch out.” When he did
it, he caught a boat sinking,

net breaking load of fish and
here’s what he did next, he

called for his partners because
he couldn’t hold all of them and

his partners got blessed. They
filled their boats up and they

almost began to sink. What am I
saying to you? I’m saying, look

how God blesses me and as you
are partnering with me or

associated with the ministry by
sowing and praying for us, look

what He’ll do for you. It’s
called the law of association.

You can even work it on the
negative side. The Bible says

don’t even hang around with an
angry man or you’ll become angry

yourself. Let me tell you, we
believe the Word of God. We are

doing what God has called us to
do. If you’re associated with us

through partnership, through
your giving, through your faith,

guaranteed some of that blessing
will spill right over onto you.
