Welcome to our Friday’s broadcast of the
Gospel truth today I am concluding my
first week of teaching on the power of
imagination I tell you this is awesome
I’ve said some things this week that if
you were to receive what I was saying
and put them into practice I believe it
would literally transform your life
that’s what’s happened to me this is one
of the things that God spoke to me and
it began on January the 31st 2002
actually I’ve been operating in some of
these principles but until you
understand what you’re doing it’s like
you don’t have a handle on it you can’t
do it uh in January of 2002 God spoke to
me about how I was limiting him by my
small thinking which included my small
imagination and this has just totally
revolutionized my life in Ministry so
I’ve got this entire book that will
teach on that we’re asking for a gift of
any amount but this is a brief summary
and I love the little uh image that they
put on here about believing is seen the
opposite of what the world says they say
seeing is believing but the scripture
says believing is seeing you can
actually get to where once you see
something in your heart it’s more real
to you than what you see with your eyes
and this is our free gift to you and

already covered a lot of material and
there’s no way I can go go back again

possibly can uh I was sharing on a
program yesterday that I had a lot of
financial
difficulties uh back in the uh 70s 80s
and 90s the Lord touched my life in 1968
but for around 30 years I was doing what
God told me to do and heading in the
right direction but I didn’t have an
understanding of finan I I had religious
Traditions that were hindering me and
the way I overcame it was that in
1996 through about
1998 I took scriptures and I meditated
on scriptures about
prosperity and one of the points that
I’ve been making is from Isaiah CH 26:3
the Lord will keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed upon him and that
word mind is yeter in the Hebrew y TS e
r and means conception and specifically
that same word y TS e r was translated
imagination in Genesis chapter 6 verse 5
so I believe that when it says when your
mind has to be stayed upon him it’s
talking about your imagination has to be
stayed upon him and that is where you
conceive it’s your your imagination is
your spiritual womb it’s where you
conceive things and miracles don’t
really come from the outside they come
from the inside you cance them them and
give birth to them and so I talked about
that I took these hundred or more
scriptures and I meditated on them for
two years and all of a sudden I got a
revelation of how God wanted me to
prosper and once I got it on the inside
it was just a matter of time until it
came on the outside yesterday I was
giving a lot of uh statistics showing
about how that we have grown and how God
has uh given me over $130 Million worth
of buildings land and things like this
debt free in N9 and a half years and I’m
not saying that to Pat me on the back
there’s nobody watching this who knows
better than I do that this was not me
that did it it’s God that did it but it
wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t have
allowed myself to see it and to start
dreaming and start believing
big and so I was sharing yesterday that
I took these scriptures and meditated on
them let me show you this out of Psalms
chapter 1 it says in verse one blessed
is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in
the way of Sinners nor sth in the seat
of the scornful but his Delight is in
the law of the Lord and in his law do he
meditate day and night this right here
says we have to meditate day and night
in the word of God and watch the results
if we do that in verse three it says he
shall be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season his Leaf also shall
not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall
prosper you know it’s using this analogy
that if you have a tree that’s planted
by a river well then when a drought hits
the tree continues to go ahead and have
its nourishment because its roots go
down and it draws nourishment from the
land around that River and so this is
just saying that you’ll be free fruitful
that you won’t go through these dry
spells you won’t be up and down like a
yo-yo like everybody else but it’s all
dependent upon delighting yourself in
the Lord and meditating in his word day
and night a scripture that goes along
with this is Joshua 1 verse 8 where it
says this book of the law shall not
depart out of your mouth but you shall
meditate therein day and night that you
may observe to do according to all that
is written therein for then when you
meditated in the word day and night then
you will make your way prosperous and
then you will have good success but in
both of these passages of scripture that
is promising prosperity and success and
not ever going through a drought being
able to go uh still draw nourishment
while everybody else is languishing it’s
all dependent upon you meditating in the
word so what does it mean to meditate go
down into Psalms chapter 2 and verse one
and that verse says why do the Heathen
rage and the people imagine a vain thing
did you know that the exact word that
was translated imagine in Psalms chapter
2 verse one is the exact same Hebrew
word that is translated meditate in
Psalms chapter 1 verse 2 so put this
together and here’s what you come up
with that when you meditate in the word
what you are doing is imagining this
word you’re seeing it come to pass it’s
one thing to hear that by the stripes of
Jesus you’ve been healed but have you
seen yourself healed it’s one thing to
uh to hear the words that the works that
I did shall you do also in Greater Works
than these shall you do in John
14:12 but it’s another thing to meditate
in it to the point that you see yourself
doing those
things man I pray that you understand
understand what I’m saying here’s an
illustration of it did you know that I
saw a man raised from the dead the first
person I ever saw raised from the dead
was in pritet Colorado and it’s a long
story I won’t go into it but the sheriff
was there trying to get his you know def
fibulator out and all of these kind of
things and I just walked in and
commanded him to come back to life and
he just sat up and started talking it
was a miracle and man it caused no small
stir in pritet Colorado there was only
144 people in the whole town and we
started having a hundred people come to
church now they didn’t all come from the
town they came from the surrounding
areas but nonetheless I saw a person
raised from the dead and then I had a
man that died during one of my church
services in Kansas City he had a
diabetic seizure and they drug him out
in the hall and he died and somebody
came in and said we’ve got a guy that’s
dead and so I just prayed a real simple
prayer and I said I’m gonna keep
preaching and I had some of my team go
out there and anyway this guy was raised
from the dead so I had seen a couple
people raised from the dead and this is
what the Lord promised he he told us in
Matthew chap 10:8 go heal the sick
cleanse the lepers raise the dead this
should not be abnormal we were commanded
to do that and anyway I saw some people
raised from the dead but it just dawned
on me one time that I was like 12 years
later I was thinking that you know I
hadn’t seen anybody raised from the dead
in the last day decade now I’d heard
other testimonies and people who would
take some of the things I said and
they’d come back and give testimonies
but I personally hadn’t seen a person
raised from the dead in a while and so
you know what I did just exactly what
these scriptures said I started
meditating on raising people from the
dead I started imagining it the first
step I took every instance in the Bible
where a person was raised from the dead
there are actually eight in individual
instances now there’s an instance like
when Jesus rose from the dead in Matthew
it says that multitudes came out of the
graves and walked into the City and
appeared to people but it doesn’t give
any specific it’s only one verse that
talks about that as far as individual
cases of people being raised from the
dead there’s only eight instances in the
whole Bible where somebody was raised
from the dead so I took them I took
Elijah and Elisha and then I took all of
the instances where Jesus raised people
from the dead Peter raised people from
the dead Paul raised uus from the dead
and I took all of those things and I
wrote them out on paper and I would just
sit there and first of all I got all of
the
information and I just started thinking
about it and making sure that I
understood so that there wouldn’t be any
confusion you can’t meditate on
something that you have never thought
about so the first step is getting the
information put on the inside of you but
then after I got it I not only saw Jesus
raise Lazarus from the dead but I had to
personalize it because John 14:12 Jesus
said verily verily I say unto you he
that believes on me the works that I do
shall he do also and even greater Works
than these shall he do because I go unto
my father so it’s not enough for me to
just see Jesus raising Lazarus from the
dead I had to see me doing it so I took
all the information about Jesus raising
Lazarus from the dead it says that he
yelled with a loud voice so I actually
on my own I got to where I I would say
in the name of Jesus Lazarus come forth
I would see myself do I would act it out
and I know many of you think boy you are
crazy well how many people have you seen
raised from the dead and I can go on and
tell you that I’ve seen two other people
raised from the dead since I did exactly
what I’m describing to you right here I
saw myself doing what Elijah did what
Elisha did you know Elisha went in and
laid on top of a boy and put his hands
upon his hands and his feet upon his
feet and his mouth upon his mouth and he
prayed for this boy to be raised from
the dead and then he got up and walked
back and forth and then he came back and
did it again and eventually this boy was
raised from the dead I pictured myself
doing that and to help me picture it I
actually physically got on a bed there
wasn’t anybody there but I imagined that
I was like laying on top of somebody who
had died and I pictured myself doing
exactly what Elisha did I pictured
myself doing what Elijah did I pictured
myself doing what Peter did with Dorcas
when he raised her from the dead and I
saw myself doing those things and I know
many of you think boy that’s weird well
that’s the reason that it works for me
is because it’s not just about what
Jesus did it’s not just about what Paul
or Peter or Elijah or Elisha did I saw
myself doing those things somebody might
think well where did you get the right
to do that because Jesus said the works
that I do shall you do also and Greater
Works than these he went on to say that
nothing is impossible to him that
believes and just so many scriptures
I’ve already used a lot of scriptures
about the power of imagination so anyway
I started doing these things and I’m a
what they call a lucid dreamer I’ve
actually read an article about this and
you know like my wife she dreams and I’d
say 90s something percent of the time
she doesn’t even remember that she
dreams but I know she does because
sometimes she’ll talk in her sleep and
things I know that she dreams but she
just forgets it and it’s not very real
it’s not very impactful to her but man I
dream constantly when I go to sleep in
five minutes I’ll dream three or four
things my mind is working the whole time
that I’m asleep I don’t know if there’s
any reason for that I don’t know what
the reason is I’m just telling you this
is the way I am so as I was meditating
on doing these things and seeing people
raised from the dead which Jesus said we
would do the same Works he did he told
us in Matthew 10:8 you go heal the sick
L of lepers raised the dead so I had
scriptural reason to believe for this
and I started meditating on it just like
these verses are saying in Psalms 1:2
and Psalms 2:1 I started using my
imagination to see me doing what I
desired to do and that was to manifest
God and see people raised from the dead
so it became so dominant in my life that
every night as I dreamed I would raise
10 15 20 people from the dead every
night and I don’t know what period of
time that was but that was 6 months or
maybe a year I would just dream and I
would dream all the time about seeing
people raised from the
dead and then on March the 4th
2001 my wife and I had just got back
from an overseas trip and we didn’t get
to bed until like 1:00 in the morning
and at 4:15 in the morning my oldest son
called and he said I’m sorry to tell you
this but Peter my youngest son was dead
and I asked him what happened and he
told me and I said don’t you let anybody
touch him till we get there and we lived
an hour outside of Colorado Springs
where my son was and so we had to get up
and get dressed and drive into town we
didn’t have cell phones back then and so
uh we didn’t get any updates and I
started having all of the emotions and
all of the things happened to me that
anybody would have happened to him if
you’d heard that your son had been dead
and he had been dead for over 4 hours at
the time I got this
call so he had been dead for four hours
he was already pronounced dead he was in
a cooler in a morg in a hospital with a
toe tag on when they called and Jamie
and I just drove in and of course we
spoke our faith and believed in anyway
it’s a long story but my son was raised
from the dead after being dead over 4
hours close to 5 hours with no oxygen
did you know they say that if you go 8
minutes without oxygen it has permanent
brain damage and yet my son was dead
stripped naked in a morg in a cooler
with a toe tag on and he just sat up and
started talking and raised from the
dead and you know what there is
not let me say it this way that there is
a connection between me meditating on
raising people from the dead I just felt
like God spoke to me that I’m supposed
to start seeing the same things happen
that he saw happen John 14:12 and other
places Matthew chapter 8:10 and I
started pursuing it if you don’t pursue
it you won’t get it did you know earlier
this week on the very first day I think
it was I was talking about where there
is no vision the people perish out of
Proverbs chapter 29 and that’s talking
about your imagination your vision is
your ability to see something with your
heart that you can’t see with your eyes
and if you don’t have a purpose a goal
well then you won’t ever get there you
won’t have any restrictions on you
you’ll just head in whatever Direction
God spoke some things to me and told me
that I’m supposed to start seeing people
raised from the dead blind eyes open
deaf ears open the lame walk the lepers
cleanse those are the promises in the
the word and so I started pursuing it I
had a vision and to get that Vision
functional I started meditating on the
scriptures that promised me that I could
do those things and and along with
everything that I’ve been saying this
week Isaiah chapter 26:3 where it says
that the Lord will keep him in perfect
peace whose mind is stayed upon him that
word mind is the Hebrew word yeter ye TS
e r and it means conception you conceive
things in your mind specifically in your
imagination so I started meditating on
things I started using my imagination to
see myself doing what God said I could
do and it is no coincidence that within
a short period of time my son died and I
saw him raised from the dead and then
I’ve seen my wife raised from the dead
after her heart stopped because of a
fall that she had and she was raised
from the dead her heart
stopped and I’ve seen great miracles
happen and I don’t take any credit for
it other than to say that I had to
cooperate with God it’s certainly not
any virtue it’s not any great power uh
of mine but it’s all God’s power but
it’s available to every single one of us
did you know every person watching this
program I don’t care what country you’re
in I don’t care whether you’re male or
female what color you are how tall you
are how short you are how heavy you are
how any you are nothing else matters if
you can
believe it says in Mark chap 16 these
signs shall follow them that believe in
my name they will cast out Devils they
will speak with new tongues they will
take up serpent they’ll drink any deadly
thing they will lay hands on the sick
and they shall recover it’s for
believers there’s no other
restrictions if you can believe it’ll
work for you what God has done for for
me and through me he would do for
anybody you know I have people
constantly tell me I just saw a
video just yesterday of somebody saying
that they saw me on television and I was
totally boring that I was just sitting
there and I wasn’t doing anything and
there is nothing special about me but I
can guarantee you there is something
really special about God and who he is
in me
and the truths that I have learned from
the word of God that’s the only thing
that has made a difference in my life
that’s the only thing that has allowed
me to see my son raised from the dead
after being dead between four and five
hours that’s the only thing that has
allowed me to start a bible school and
to see the facilities that we have
debt-free and stuff it’s the word of God
it’s the power of God and it all comes
through the things that I’m sharing with
you about how to meditate in the word of
God you have to use your
imagination you have to see what you
believe God has promised you you have to
see it come to pass it’s not enough to
pray and say I know that God can heal me
have you ever seen yourself healed and
you might say well no because I’ve got
pain and see all you’re doing is looking
with your physical eyes you’re just
feeling with your natural feelings but
you have faith you can believe God you
can get to where you see things on the
inside you can Embrace healing and you
can see yourself healed long before your
physical body reflects it you can see
yourself prosperous long before your
bank account will verify it you can see
your marriage healed and be in the way
that God wants it to be long before
there’s any physical proof in it I’m
telling you you got to get things on the
inside before you get it on the outside
and this is exactly what what so many
people are missing they aren’t using
their imagin well let me rephrase that
they are using their imagination but not
in a positive way they’re using their
imagination to see what the doctor says
about you’re incurable you’ll never get
over this you’re going to die and you
see that you see yourself being
poor there are many of you that were
raised in poverty and this is the way
that you were raised to think you think
poor you may be praying for healing
but you think poor you talk poor you see
yourself poor you plan poor and yet you
want Prosperity doesn’t work that
way there are many of you that were
raised in a dysfunctional home you were
raised in a broken home and that’s what
you see and you haven’t painted a new
image and you know what it’s going to
become a self-fulfilling prophecy you
will wind up acting it out there are
many of you that have been hurt and so
you wind up hurting other people because
that’s the way you’ve seen it done to
you this is the image that you
have I’m telling you it doesn’t have to
be that way when you get born again you
become a new creature you now have a new
father don’t let your physical father
image affect what your heavenly father
is like you can take your imagination in
the word of God and you can paint a new
picture and you can see God as a loving
Heavenly Father you can see God as
someone who prospers you and loves you
and is pleasing with you it’s up to you
you have to pursue
