and tell everybody you will one day own

what makes you get back into the 15

passenger van

go to your current situation get on a

platform in front of skeptical people

and say this we’re going to have to go

to another place

crazy faith

what would make you turn down two

million dollars

give to other people when you were in

need

say you will have no debt

and believe not just for a building but

for the entire block

crazy faith

what would make you embrace the tears

after the confirmed diagnosis

acknowledge the lies and the fears but

still believe for the healing in your

child

crazy faith

what would make you stop waiting on the

crowd to agree with what you know but

they cannot see

stop playing it safe on the boat it’s

time for you to do the impossible and

walk on the scene

you’ve got to see it before you see it

yeah maybe it might sound crazy but baby

your purpose can’t afford for you to be

lazy it’s only crazy until it happens

today we are in week eight

of a series we are calling crazier faith

and if you’re just joining us um i want

to encourage you to go back and watch

i want you to get crazy faith and crazy

your faith in you because this

principle truth and lifestyle can change

everything in your life

when you start living walking acting and

loving and crazier faith

it changes

everything and around here

if you’re just joining us i’m sorry but

i haven’t announced it meant to make

it’s bamboo season at transformation

church

and if you don’t know what that is it is

a season of unusual acceleration

somebody say that with me unusual

acceleration

i believe that in this season in this

time in this moment god is taking things

that took a long time

and he’s accelerating them

things that you may have sown and things

that you may have saw or things that you

may have tried to see before god saying

this is the season

of unusual acceleration and a lot of

people don’t understand why would you

just call it bamboo season because a

bamboo tree goes under and it’s planted

for three years and literally when it

breaks forth somebody shot at me break

forth

y’all didn’t shout it at me somebody

said break forth

when it breaks forth out of the ground

out of the position of being under out

of obscurity

it has the ability to grow two inches

every single hour

that is unusual acceleration within 24

hours it can grow four feet

god told me to tell transformation

church prophetically and anybody who has

the faith to believe it that this is

your bamboo season we have less than 50

days left in 2021

god only needs three to change the whole

world y’all missed it

he only needs three to do the greatest

miracle ever

what could god do

in the next two months

in your life

somebody shot at me bamboo season

i found a scripture that i want us to

stand on in this season of unusual

acceleration it’s found in genesis

chapter 26 verse 12.

it says and isaac sowed in the land

and reaped in the same year what

hold on he sold it usually takes some

year it said he sowed

in the land and reaped in the same year

a hundred fold

and the lord blessed him

when i see stuff like that that ties in

the last two weeks messages together

like that i gotta go look it up in the

amplified version and when i seen this

in the amplified version it pulled these

whole things together look at genesis 26

and 12 in the amplified it said then

isaac planted seed remember we talked

about having faith like a farmer

in the land as a farmer

and wreaked in the same year a hundred

times as much as he had planted and the

lord blessed and favored him this ain’t

for everybody but there’s some people

that in this season of an open heaven

where there’s unusual acceleration god

said whatever you sow you’re about to

see a hundred times that thing in the

same year this is bamboo season and i’m

coming to encourage you

don’t stop sowing now

i want you to be a serial sower

don’t stop showing your time

your talent oh y’all thought i was just

talking about money your time

your talent there are things you can do

right now for people that you just

stingy

with the gifting that god’s placed in

your hand and god said sow it now

sow it now because ten years from now

two months from now ten days from now

there needs to be a harvest for you

and you cannot

get the harvest if you have not

exercised the spiritual faith gift of

sowing the seed and so

as i began to look at bamboo seeds and i

got excited because even this week i’ve

started hearing testimonies of people

that have sold

in different ways and god is paying off

debts and opening up jobs and giving

scholarships and promotions and

realigning family i’m not talking about

stuff i’m thinking about these are

actual people that these things are

happening and then god as a pastor i get

all pumped and i’m like lost go i

rejoice with those who rejoice and i’m

born with those who more so i’m going

and then god said michael i’m about to

open the floodgates and pour out

blessing they don’t have room enough to

receive i’ll still lost oh god has bad

boys hey

and he said remind him of the backside

of the blessing

i said no that’s not as fun

as telling everybody it’s bamboo season

he said but you’re responsible to make

sure they’re prepared

so today

i need us

to walk

in a way that prepares us for this

season of unusual acceleration and

blessing is anybody believing for god to

do something that is all extraordinary

not ordinary i said extraordinary

so today i have to prepare you for that

because

as we yell it’s bamboo season today

i want to let you know

that there are many people in bamboo

season that get bamboozled by the

blessing

matter of fact that’s what i’ma call the

message today write that down bamboozled

by the blessing

see because we talk to people about what

to do to get the blessing

but we never prepare them of what your

action steps are to do after the

blessing comes

after you get the house after your

emotional um stability comes back after

the family is restored after you get the

car after you wifed up after they

recognize you you get the promotion

after the loan clears what do you do

after the blessing

and most people today pray fast believe

so get the blessing and then they get

bamboozled by the blessing

the word bamboozle means to be deceived

or tricked

what happens when the very thing you

prayed for tricked you out of intimacy

with god uh-oh

what happens when the very thing you

believed for god we needed the house we

needed more space and then it broke up

and isolated the family

now you got 5 000 square feet and no

intimacy

bamboozled

by the blessing

i cried out i prayed i drove from texas

in kansas and california to get my crazy

faith offering and god did the miracle

now what

and if we don’t prepare for what god is

going to do we will be left in the trap

that humanity gets in over and over we

get bamboozled by

the blessing

have you ever been bamboozled

now maybe it’s just me but there are

some people that have tricked me before

and and

and the crazy thing about being

bamboozled most times you don’t know

you’re getting bamboozled why you being

bamboozled

it’s not a sudden like i’m about to

exploit you and take advantage of you

nobody’s doing that it’s the people that

get close to you and

uh y’all want to be fake today

it’s the people that you once called

best friend it’s the people that you

gave a position to it’s the people that

you put on and then somehow you look up

and

i might be a little too close to home

this morning

but i remember this one time i’m gonna

make it a little lighter because some of

y’all just really just went back you the

crazy eyes just came out of you just

start thinking about i’m gonna go i’m

gonna find him like i’m down

i remember this one time uh

my one of my best friends john he

actually styles me and does all this

stuff so we’ve been in the clothes for a

very long time

and um

we were in the clothes when we were

broke and um

what what that means is that all the

stuff you want to buy

you can’t buy

because you ain’t got no money

so anytime you see something that’s

gently used

or maybe a size or two bigger

or

you know i’m saying you make it work

has anybody ever grown up making it work

now some of y’all bougie all your life

but there’s some of us that had to take

something that was not even and make it

work well there was this one time

where we’ve been sneaker heads a long

time and it was the first time these new

yeezy shoes were coming out and john

comes up to me he’s like mike i found

the plug

and john’s my friend

so

when my friend comes up and tells me

like i found the plug there’s like

questions i don’t even ask

cause you’re my friend

you

so he’s like i found

this chick on instagram

she can get the yeezys for 350 and send

them right to us i said bro you lying

you know that mugs is like 900 on the

aftermarket he said bro i promise you

look here’s a picture of her

shows me a picture of this lady i was

like oh okay and she kind of cute and

she work at finish one issue okay cool

cool

i scraped together

every dollar dime nickel penny that i

had you know when you broke when you

start going to the couch to look for the

money just hold on like

loose change other people’s car ashtrays

i was everywhere

i got my 350 together and gave it to my

friend with full

confidence

i’m talking about

i was imagine you talking about see it

before you see it

i saw myself with them shoot i had

started planting outfits

based on

one week goes by

two week goes by i mean shipping you

know

three weeks go by

and we start encouraging each other like

bro you already know they on the way bro

you know they we doing all this other

four weeks go by

i said john um

i’ve missed some meals

because of what i uh

gave to this endeavor that we’re on

right now have you heard anything bro i

i i dm’d them i i let them know and they

promised me they’d be here next week

five weeks goes by

six week goes by now i’m a little

aggravated

he’s like bro i got my money in it too

you dumb too

we end up finding out

that it wasn’t a young lady it was a man

that posted a picture

of a young lady at a shoe store

we sent him our money

and that man disappeared

for at least three weeks

me and john felt worthless

because as grown men

who paid taxes

and had wives this wasn’t like like i’m

married at this time like at least there

should be some sun i felt bamboozled

if i see that person today i’m stealing

them out on site

but what i begin to understand about

this moment of being bamboozled

is i let the idea of what i thought was

going to be a blessing

distract me from deception

write this point down because y’all are

about to come into blessing you’ve never

seen before you’re about to come into

relationships that you’ve never seen

before you’re about to have resources

and access like you’ve never nobody’s

believing it with me you’re about to

have resources and access like you’ve

never seen before but never let the

blessing

become such a distraction

that you fall into deception

i was so distracted by the blessing that

was coming

that i didn’t even look and see that the

person only had two pictures on their

instagram

you know when somebody has two pictures

on they thing it’s a scam

but i didn’t look at it one time till

after i had been bamboozled

after i had been taken advantage of

and god is telling you the blessings on

the way

but when the blessing comes don’t be so

distracted by the house

don’t be so distracted by the new

relations don’t be distracted about who

they worked with and who they’ve done

music with and what tv show they’ve been

on and who they know

do not be distracted

to the place where you fall into

deception

can i bring it real spiritual don’t let

the promotion keep you from praying

uh-oh

now you got it you prayed for it and now

no more relationship with god don’t get

distracted

don’t let the new heart the new house

harden your heart from generosity

don’t let uh oh single ladies single men

don’t let the relationship cheap in your

routine with god

you used to have a routine with god

oh let me talk to married people oh it’s

the kids and it’s the thing and god said

i still gave you 24 hours and somehow

you managed to binge watch netflix but

you had no time to be with me and in the

morning you’re gonna need me to go back

to that job but you gave me no time to

give you what i needed

the reason why you can’t be distracted

by the blessing even though it’s good

watch this it’s because distraction

distractions

jeopardize discernment

when you’re distracted you can’t discern

what’s going on

when you’re distracted

you don’t pay attention to stuff that’s

obvious

have y’all ever seen your friend going

into a relationship that was going to

end in disaster before it even started

oh come on but they can’t see it

why because they distract it

well he loved me and he bought my nails

and he did the opposite than my last

boyfriend jerome and this and that and

the third and you like i don’t know this

look like jerome in a different outfit

but their discernment is down because

their distraction is up

what i’m telling you the reason you

don’t know what college to go to is

because the distraction is up and the

discernment is down the reason why you

don’t know if you’re supposed to put

your kids in that school or that school

is because the distraction is up

and the discernment is down

and this is how people get bamboozled

by

the blessing because they can’t discern

anymore

i just did something

and it worked

so then i go

and that’s when the enemy creeps in

and says all i needed them to do was

exhale

i just needed them to get off of it for

a second

i just needed them to stop fasting i

heard a man of god once say he said

don’t fast every once in a while live a

fasted life

he said because at the moment that god

does the victory it’s not a time to say

i’ll do that again on 21 days of prayer

and fasting next year that’s a lot of

time that my discernment is down where

i’m not as keen to hear the whispers of

god

and some of the blessing that you’re

about to come in you got to hear every

direction

the steps of a good man and a good woman

are i got to be able to hear the whisper

of god i got to be able to hear stay in

that lease for six months and on the

seventh month i’m gonna bring something

to you you gotta be able to hear the

details the level of

of responsibility i walk in now the

details matter

and if we lose our discernment as a

church

if we lose our discernment as a body

deception is just around the corner

the biggest blessing in the world and

god’s like it’s okay

it’s okay that i did that once but my

plan wasn’t to have one season

i wanted this to be your life

and i don’t know who i’m here to

encourage today

this is the kick in the pants

that lets you know like hey

stop being distracted

and get your discernment to another

level god is speaking to some of y’all

right now

and he can’t even get a word in because

fox news your instagram feed what

happened at astroworld what happened on

this celebrity will and jada again is

this that third new and god said i’ve

been speaking the whole time

but your discernment is distracted

can i show you a picture of somebody

who had something amazing happen to them

and then their discernment just shut off

this is what most of us look like

after we get the blessing check this out

go down stay fast

listen that child is going to be a pro

athlete

did y’all just see what happened

he tells his daddy think fast throws it

to him like ah

and his mama says that boy

is gonna be a pro bam

what he told his dad to do

think fast

he didn’t have the discernment to think

the ball was coming back

and many of us

god

is telling us to do something

and then we stop doing the thing

that gets us in a place of watch this

protection

he didn’t even put his hands up charles

he was so caught off guard by that

he had no discernment that it was even

coming back and some of y’all been

trying to hold your laugh in that was

that little boy got knocked and he will

always forever have a mark

he will never forget

the time

that he was distracted by the compliment

of his mother

don’t this sound like us this boy

this girl

this employee is

hit just for a moment

he was so distracted by the blessing of

encouragement

that he lost all discernment

i do not want you to be bamboozled by

the blessing

the bible says when god blesses we still

watch and pray

let me move on

see because the backside of the blessing

whatever it is if it’s your business

doubling if it’s the promotion if it’s

you being able to be in emotional

stability for the first time after

decades of emotional trauma god said

i’ma bless you with it

but the blood the backside of the

blessing always comes with three things

you have to watch out for

it tries to give you an opportunity to

walk away from god

and to establish independence

identity and entitlement

whenever god blesses you and does

amazing things what ends up happening is

you have an opportunity to walk away

from god

and declare your independence

to find your identity

and to walk in entitlement let me break

it down just a little more your

independence from god

is always an option after god uses you

beyond what you deserve

every day i get up here

and minister to you

i can go to instagram afterwards and get

filled with people saying how amazing i

am that would give me the opportunity to

declare my independence from god y’all

did do good on that sermon

those analogies what did you see the

farmer and the

way he killed that

every sunday

when i get off this stage and before

anybody in the room knows i get i don’t

care what i have on i get on my hands

and my knees

and i ask god in humility father if you

would just one more time use this broken

shell of a man that is me and would you

speak through me and take all of my

ignorance and all of my know-how and

would you form it together somehow god

i’m dependent on you if you used to

watch back in the day i would say tag

team back again holy spirit i need you

to do this with me i am completely

dependent

on god

and when god blesses you you get an

opportunity to be independent

and some of y’all

god’s done it and he don’t hear from you

until you need him to do it again

this is the backside of the blessing it

doesn’t just come with independence from

god then you start trying to find your

identity in the blessing

i can’t tell you how many times people

have now gotten a car

or a home

or a corner office

and now they are up can i be real or

they become a pastor

and now their identity is in not who

from who called them their identity is

in what they do

the reason i respect bishop mcintosh so

much is because while he was still able

to walk in the office of pastor

his identity was only found in christ so

what he had been doing for 16 plus years

he was able to hand to somebody else and

walk away from why because his identity

was not in the title uh-oh

some of y’all’s identity is entitled

wife

who are you if you’re not a wife uh oh

oh

who are you if you’re not a husband who

are you if you’re not a ceo who are you

if you’re not an athlete who are you if

you’re not

and the biggest plague on the world

today is that when god blesses us then

somehow we attach our identity to it

i’m a musician i’m a fashion designer

i’m an author god said you’re my child

and before you or any of that and after

you’re all of that you’ll still be

my

child

and the reason why people cannot walk

away from what has been successful

is because the backside of the blessing

has been that they have formed their

identity

and the thing that god blessed them with

i tell our team all the time i don’t

know how long i’m gonna do this

i know it’s cracking right now

but if the holy spirit tell me five

years from now 10 years from now 15

years from now 20 years from now

mike start over

and go be

a plumber

i’m gonna do it with all my might crack

and everything i’m gonna pull it out i’m

gonna do it

why do plumbers they don’t feel that

okay anyway

um

it’s just almost like comes with the job

like

any plumbers out there dm me um

why why could i walk away and be a

plumber

because my identity

is not in

the platform

or the position

my identity is in a person

and his name is somebody shot at me

jesus

so you cannot

declare your independence from god and

you cannot find your identity in the

blessing see because then this last one

takes over a lot of people if you do not

watch yourself you will be bamboozled by

the blessing because then you start

walking in entitlement because of the

blessing

i deserve that

it’s about time they recognize who i am

if god didn’t do it now i promise you he

was going to do it somewhere else

the exact opposite of gratefulness

thankfulness like like and there are so

many people

acting like god owes them something

past the breath that you took to get up

this morning

that was grace and mercy and it’s new

what every morning

everything after that is his favor and

his kindness and his goodness and his

grace on our life see nobody wants to

talk about this you think you deserve a

new house

you deserve to be in leadership hold up

what

it is

a blessing and a privilege

but that spirit of entitlement comes in

and see this equation that i just gave

you you didn’t know it was an equation

but i want to put it in an equation for

you if you have independence plus

identity found in the blessing plus

entitlement found out of the blessing it

equals the same thing every time it’s

one big word that the lord hates

pride

this

is the problem with the backside of the

blessing when god does it

you have an opportunity to walk in pride

and this is what stops charles unusual

acceleration faster than anything else

when god starts doing it start feeling

entitled

attach your identity to it

stop praying and acknowledging god in

all your ways so he can direct your path

be independent

and what creeps into your life

is pride put that big pride up there

what is right in the middle of the pr in

the d.e

when i takes over

you are about to be shut down from

heaven

and i’ve watched it over and over and

believe i’ve watched it ministry rise

and ministry fall business rise and

business fall first marriage second

marriage third marriage fourth marriage

because of

pride

i know nobody talks about this no more

because your graphic was dope

but we don’t have to use it

it was a privilege that god put you in a

position to use the skill of your hand

and it actually blessed somebody but you

think it’s all of that and now you don’t

have to do it on time and put it on the

deadline oh i’m i’m talking to a couple

of people right now cause you that dope

you’re walking in

pride

i’ve been married for five years i don’t

need no marriage counseling what they

gonna tell me how they know what i’m

going through and i’m doing this and you

won’t even sit down with the person you

committed your entire life to to become

better for better or for worse in

sickness and health in the good and in

the bad and you won’t even listen to

somebody who has way more training than

you

the only reason you don’t sit down is

because of pride

the reason you’ve been in that church

for 15 years

and ain’t picked up

nothing

won’t open the door

you’re so entitled at that church

that you think that you should be

praised for coming

we don’t care if you come

i’m gonna say what your pastor should

say to you i don’t care after covert i’m

a little ignorant like i ain’t had like

i don’t care if you come as long as he

comes

it don’t matter who else show up but you

are shutting down the blessing of your

own life because of

pride

and when you make the blessing that god

has given you

the thing that you have independence

from him for

you find your identity in the blessing

and you feel entitled to the blessing

what you form

is an idol

some of y’all live in the thing you

oh worship nasty

some of y’all drove

to work this week the thing that gets

more of your worship

here’s my worship

all of my worship

receive my worship

all of my worship you give more time to

that steel rubber and metal

you have a house for it you built a

garage you built an altar for it

and god’s saying to you

you should have no other

god

ain’t got no other gods

if you worship it more than you worship

god

if you express your love to it more than

you express it to god some of your

bibles are so dusty you could get a

disease just by opening it

but instagram is nice and lubricated

facebook is part of your daily

foundation

and god is saying

i need you

to kill the idols

because it has you walking in pride

and it has you stopping me

from blessing you

cannot

the enemy has not changed the tactic

since the garden

adam and eve in paradise with god is

only three of them like

you can’t mess this up

why are you what are we talking about

every tree except one

like come on

just

eat everything else

but what did the enemy come to suggest

independence from god

ain’t that what he said

no no he don’t oh

god he always talking

your identity should be in knowing

the difference between good and evil

eat this blessing and your identity will

change

and matter of fact why would god say

entitlement

why would he say

you could eat from every other tree and

not this one

pride came in

and why did adam and eve get kicked out

of eden

pride

why did satan get kicked out of heaven

all he’s doing is putting a copy and

paste

on your life

based on what happened in his life

why would we get kicked out of a season

of unusual acceleration

pride

it’s here it’s coming the next few days

weeks years god is about to blow our

mind

how long we stay in this season

is dependent on how humble we can be

while god continues to open up the

windows and pour out a blessing we don’t

have room enough to receive james 4 6

this is why pride is so ghetto

god opposes the proud

i can’t even i’m holy like i can’t even

like i love you but that

like it’s literally

it for god

walk in pride

walk away from god

think that you’re all of that

god says be it

have it

do it

i’ll be over here

until i smell humility

humility has an aroma have you ever met

somebody and they ain’t even said

nothing to you but you can tell the type

of person humility

leaves

it leaves a fragrance

and god said uh i smell pride

can’t do it

he opposes the problem but he shows

favor

to the what humble okay

pride will get you kicked out of

paradise

wherever you think god is taking you

if you start walking in pride i’m just

trying to help somebody not lose the

thing that god is bringing into your

life it’s bamboo season don’t be

bamboozled by the blessing it’s bamboo

season don’t get tricked

when it actually happens

somebody be like it’s only crazy until

it happens this is true

i’ve seen people be on top

and then they ask him for five dollars

why because it was crazy that god did it

and it was crazy that he took it away

why because pride crept

in this is why we have to tear down

every idol and this is why that what you

worship is more important than anything

else in your life why this is what i say

it to to my wife all the time never

worship a noun

never worship worship a person

a place

or a thing

don’t ever worship never worship a noun

when people try to blow pastor mike you

were so you were this and you were that

i tell people to god be the glory

and some of my friends they’re like you

just always be saying this churchy

answer i said no no no

that’s not a churchy answer for me

for me that’s the thing that keeps me

humble

because

people

situations

other

dynamics

will have you confused about who you

really are

i know me

it is only the grace of god that i’m

standing up here and all y’all don’t be

sending me messages in jail

y’all laughing i’m serious

it is the grace of god and see some of

y’all are so bougie like oh my god

pastor mike but if we opened up your

nasty life

and really saw what you thought and what

you texted and deleted it was in your

heart it came out if we really saw what

you look at never mind

but how do we stay in this place we have

to stay everybody shout at me humble

but the message is very potent

can i give you the secret of how to

combat pride i told y’all this is the

most important message in the series

because whatever you’re believing god

for in crazy faith can be gone in a

moment because of pride

all that god has done at transformation

church be from the time we was at 15 19

believe in god to hire two people

to they just told me that i think we

have a staff of over a hundred and what

is it now

it was half that

how do we go from that

and god said there’s a lot of factors

but the one thing that i keep opening up

the heart to see

is if there’s still humility in there

and humility is not based on who you

talking to

humility is what you think and you feel

when nobody’s there and what you think

and you feel when everybody is there

god is looking for a church and a people

that will be humble enough to be blessed

over and over and over again and this is

how we keep pride out how do you combat

pride with humility how do you stay

humble here’s the secret

through service

who

are

you

serving

not who’s serving you because that’s the

western’s world of success we look at

successes how many people are serving me

the kingdom looks at the exact opposite

how many people are you serving

and some of you by world standards would

be at the top of the list and god’s

gonna say get away from me i didn’t even

know you

because you called my name but never had

my posture

you called my name you shouted and you

did all this but you never had the

posture to serve nobody

you were too big to get low

i don’t know i might have called the

message drop it low

somebody needs to hear me say this you

have six figures

but who have you served

you prayed for the private practice

but now you won’t practice what you

preach

you’ll tell other people to do it

but you never do when the last time you

handed somebody money they didn’t earn

from you

are you

serving

and i made a decision a long time ago

that whenever i show up i’ma show up

serving

somebody say show up

serving when you go to the birthday

party

show up serving

when you go to your kid’s school

show what can i do how can i help do you

need any help miss johnson do you need

anything and some of y’all being

you better treat my kid right you get

bad we all know that

when i walk into something that is made

for me

people who are on my team will tell you

they’d be trying to pick up stuff and do

let me carry my own bag

matter of fact give me your bag

cause i have to keep myself in a

position

blessing but this is for the people who

are about to go to a whole nother level

of unusual acceleration i’m trying to

tell you how to keep it going put

yourself in a position

to serve

and this ain’t sexy this is serving uh

this ain’t sexy this means your hands

gonna get dirty this means that you’re

gonna have to do things that may mess up

your outfit this means that somebody

who’s not as old as

i know for the ogs this means a lot

well what they gonna tell me they ain’t

never been through

but if god put them in position

you do everything you do as unto the

uh oh

so you’ve been messing up your

season of unusual acceleration because

you looked at age instead of anointing

i might be 34 years old but i’m anointed

to be people’s pastor

if you look at my age and not my

qualification you will miss the thing

that god wants to do in you

because of pride

i’m not just a cereal sower

i’m a cereal server

i’m i’ma serve somebody in the midst of

an introduction to a greater season of

service

you get a promotion on your job greater

service become a leader on that team

greater service hire your first team

member or employee greater service you

go from being single to married

didn’t pass the thermostat on your way

to the room

you just got i’ve been in the bed

baby could you just please turn it up

get in the bed the first thing you

did you want i’m just trying to be real

did you want something

well at the time i really didn’t want it

but then when i smelled the aroma of

what you was doing and every time you do

it it’d be looking so good and so i just

took a bite and then once i took a bite

then i took another bite and then i was

like when is he coming back and then i

just ate the whole thing

but if you really love me

you could go get us some more tacos

literally greater service

because they just be so mad what kind of

what i got okay i got a 30-piece

mcnugget but okay

acceleration see

they understand that service

service will make me go an extra five

miles to find a chick-fil-a

service y’all don’t hear me

we talking about all this stuff but if

what’s on your crazy faith card

what that means is

greater

success and god looks at people with

status and be like they’ll be here today

cause this is anti-cultural

our culture does not look at who they

can serve

would go out there with waters

for even this is our example

so it’s not just serve

he said i’m going to tell you the

antithesis the exact opposite

i did not come to be served

it’s not just i come to serve

it’s i did not come to be served

don’t serve me

i came watch what it says

to serve

others black people others white people

others

republicans others democrats others

transgender others

pastors others

drug addicts other it didn’t say

i came to serve say it others

to give his life

when you serve he’s going to take a

sacrifice

he couldn’t just serve he had to

sacrifice

he said to give his life

as a ransom this word always messes me

up for many

there’s no specificity what is it no

they not specific

about

who he died for

many

so i’mma serve people and never get

the credit

it’s just as long as you served others

your sacrifice is gonna affect many

love the generosity at our church

because when people give and we do stuff

it’s not like and then we give and it’s

going to do this exact thing it’s like

when we give

we serving others

and it’s going to impact

many

matthew 23 11 i got to give you all word

this is jesus strongest

statement on serving

the greatest among all of y’all

will be

your servant

the disciples were trying to figure out

if their instagram feed made them look

better to god

if the miracles they had done if the

amount of cars sitting on them things

made them feel

successful if they’re kids

accomplishments because i know i’ve been

talking about a lot of materialistic

things but some of y’all worship your

children

uh-oh

well they are and they are and they got

accepted too and they’re a gold medal

number one honor roll this then third

the fourth day and they’re going to

leave you

and when they get out of your house

like

and this is the thing that i’m saying

yes you’re called to serve your children

but not at the expense of serving god

some of y’all haven’t prayed since you

popped little peter out

since peter came

god doesn’t have

any time with you

you go to wine

more than you go to the whale

your peace uh let me stop

and god’s saying to you today

i need

you to serve me

and serve others

more than you do anything

else

i said it earlier but write it as a

point

you have to serve it

before you see it

not just see it before you see it or sow

it before you see it god’s telling you

if you’re gonna see everything i have

for you you’re gonna have to serve it

before you see the goal is not to have

one season of unusual acceleration the

goal of any famous tv show is to have

multiple seasons grey’s anatomy i think

has 18 seasons

why is it going to go down as one of the

greatest shows not because it had a good

episode

because it had great

seasons

when i think about that david was one of

those people

that in his journey of faith crazier

faith

he had several bamboo seasons he had

season after season of unusual

acceleration y’all remember when david

is in the field just doing what he has

been called to do tending to the sheep

they throw a party don’t invite the bro

he’s not in there trying to be like yo

what’s up i heard the music he’s not

trying to be in nobody’s business he’s

minding his own doing what god told them

staying at the last place god told them

and spending time with god and in that

place they call for him

and when they call for him samuel

standing there in front of all of his

brothers who despised him he anoints him

the king of israel and then they send

him right back to the field that he was

in before what happens when god puts you

in another stratosphere by anointing but

sends you back to the same job

i’m trying to teach you

what happens when he calls you by name

and gives you great things in your

future and then sends you back to the

same

crazy family

lord as you’re upgrading everything

would you just upgrade my family lord

just give me another one

this is what happens

to david and then look what happens in

first samuel chapter 16 verse 14. i’m

gonna help somebody today

oh multiple seasons of unusual

acceleration i don’t know who that’s for

but this ain’t gonna be a one-off this

ain’t gonna happen one time god said i

want it to keep happening it says now

the spirit of the lord had departed from

saul and an evil spirit from the lord

tormented him i can’t even stop and

preach that

but if you look at that that’s gonna

mess with your theology and an evil

spirit

from the lord

tormenting him let’s keep moving saul’s

attendant said to him see an evil spirit

from god is tormenting you they said it

they even recognized it so everything

bad that’s happening to you isn’t the

devil

it’s not the thing that’s going to take

you out it’s the thing that’s going to

develop you

what god was trying to do to solve

before this moment is work the fruits of

the spirit in him before they were

called the fruits of the spirit when he

was not waiting on samuel to come he got

impatient and god was saying the delay

wasn’t a denial i was trying to give you

something that you would need in the

next season but he never got it

and that’s why the evil spirit came to

torment him from the lord he said i got

to make room for the next person who’s

actually going to do it did you all know

we were never supposed to meet david

everybody talks about david like saul

wasn’t chosen by god

saw if he would have been able to be the

one to do what god called him to do we

would have never had david defeating

goliath and i know it’s your favorite

story but david was the backup

and because this man

did not stay in his place god had to

call up the third string quarterback to

play for the team and some of y’all the

reason god’s giving me this word to tell

you right now is because you’re walking

in pride

and because you’re walking in pride

every time i say it something changes on

the inside of you yeah well it’s not in

every area but in that one area

if you don’t address it it will keep you

away

and because he was walking in pride god

said i gotta find another one

and he said the evil spirit was

tormenting him verse 16 let our lord

command his servants there’s that word

here to search for someone who can play

the liar or the guitar

he will play when the evil spirit from

god

comes on you

and you’ll feel better

have you ever noticed when you read this

story that david’s first time to the

palace where he would ultimately be

seated was not in a position of status

it was in a position of service

so this is where you’re going to be

but i’m going to send you in there

without

authority first

i’m gonna have you serve somebody who

has characteristics

and things that you are gonna need in a

different season but i’m gonna allow

your voice to be muted

because they don’t need to hear you

right now

you need to go into that position and

you need to shut up and serve

i know they don’t teach like this no

more but some of us

are so ready to be seen that we won’t

shut up and serve

and the greatest lessons i’ve learned

is not when i was being on a platform

being great and showing people what i

had it was when i shutted

and when i shut my mouth

and i served the people that god placed

in front of me

see when he asked you to serve he’s

testing your heart your honor and your

humility

oh my god luke 16 12

and if you have not been faithful

and what is another man’s

who will give you what is your own

now this scripture is talking about

finances and different things like that

but there’s a principle here that i

learned a long time ago about serving

other people’s visions

if you won’t serve somebody else’s

vision

why would god trust you

to bring anybody else to your little

thing

well my llc and my business and my

non-profit god said your hands is so

fresh

no scrapes no cuts no no you ain’t got

dirty with nobody else

and you want me to open the flood you

didn’t sow service

you didn’t sow serving so you can’t reap

it you never did it for anybody why are

you expecting it to come up and god told

me he said what will one day be your

seat will always start out as your

service

david goes into the palace serving and

the place where one day he will have a

seat it started out as his service

can i have

my people come up who gonna help me

demonstrate what service looks like

see because if we would ever be ones to

really get in a place and to stand and

to come into a place of service what

would end up happening is we would

change the way we wait

see anything

that

you do as a server at a restaurant your

job is to wait

on the person that you are

in front of

and the thing that god told me to tell

transformation church

is your weight

is ugly

the way you’re waiting has no posture to

it

the way you’re waiting and your

character and your attitude you might as

well not even be here

because of the way you’re serving

all of these people up here are standing

in a certain position at attention

waiting to serve

and most of us

don’t look like this in the spirit

we should be saying god whatever you

want me to do at your surface how do you

want me to help the people you want it

to be a little hotter you want it to me

to be a little cold i’m talking too much

i’m not talking enough well lord i’m an

introvert but you need my purpose to

come out so i’m gonna allow my purpose

to override my preferences god however

you want me to do it you want me to

serve in the children’s area but i don’t

like kids that much oh give them the

name tags i can give them the name tag i

will serve

we’re not going to get a lot of amens on

this one but you are

blocking the season

of unusual acceleration because you’ve

been bamboozled by the blessing

you thought god gave you that position

so you could stunt

he gave you the position so you could

serve

in church because of toxic people who’ve

never found their identity in christ

but just because people have done it

not a principle that god still works by

we have to be everybody say it with me

it’s a cuss word to some of y’all

submitted

you got to be submitted you got to be

subbed to somebody’s mission

whose mission are you under

a sub marine the reason they call it a

submarine is because it goes under

the water

whose vision are you

under

now i know

you’re starting to think about everybody

abusing you and everything that could go

wrong and all that god when your heart

is open and ready to be in a place of

service he will send you people show you

things that you are supposed to be

submitted

to

that’s why i tell people don’t just go

to any church

i’m glad you watch here at

transformation church but if god is

telling you you need to be in a local

church

get sub to somebody’s mission you can

watch us every monday tuesday wednesday

thursday friday well i just want to be

at the house because transformation

church my church some of y’all that’s

the truth others of y’all are lazy

and you do not want to be bothered with

people and you’ve been allowing your

preferences to override your purpose and

god told you six months ago you were

supposed to be back in somebody’s church

but you saying well trans man nobody

does it like passing like they ain’t got

to do it like me but they can have an

anointing that will cover your life

that’ll change i know pastor saying this

i don’t care

that you be a part of this if it’s not

where you’re supposed to be

you need to be submitted

i think about over my life there has

been four strategic people that god has

made me sub to their mission and i want

to show you this practically there was a

guy named terrell taylor he was my first

youth pastor back at higher dimensions

and um terrell came to me one time and

said michael i want you to help me start

this gospel group called one generation

of praise and and literally i would go

to terrell taylor’s house and i would

sit there and he introduced me to the

mpc 2000 xl and he introduced me to the

end sonic and we had death and all this

other stuff and he would have me doing

stuff and finding sounds and all this

other stuff and i found myself at 14

years old sub to his mission it wasn’t

my idea to come up with the group it

wasn’t my idea to come over there every

day after school but something in me had

the audacity to serve

and i can’t tell you how this man

serving with me and me serving with him

prepared me for my next level of service

there was a man named waymon tisdale

that god called me to serve he saw me

playing at one of the last azusa

conferences and he found out who i was i

was playing drums and he said i need you

to come be my studio musician i need you

to be my studio drummer i was in 11th

grade and literally we never talked

about money

he didn’t pay me

he never said be my studio magician for

this rate

i could have had a job at wendy’s

it would have not prepared me

for what god had called me to do uh

get your bag

the bag is not always the biggest form

of blessing

the bag is not always the biggest form

of blessing i’m telling somebody

something right now well they’re not

just gonna use me do you know what you

can get in certain atmospheres that

money can’t buy

dale is my witness i would come over

there every day after my 11th grade year

i had to give people vision i had to

convince my dad to take me to mingo and

41st every day after school and then

come pick me up at 10 o’clock at night

why

because i was subbed

to the mission

and he ended up taking me all over the

world in my senior year i only went to

school from monday to thursday because

every friday he would come and get me

and in a different season not the season

i started out in the season that was

after that season he started paying me a

thousand dollars for 45 minutes of doing

what i loved

i played drums for 45 minutes as a

senior in high school

and i got paid a thousand dollars

staying in my own hotel room or having

per diem every day y’all know how fat i

got

ordering milkshakes and cookies and

cream i didn’t have to pay for none of

it i had my own flying first class

getting picked up in limos why

because god was trying to show me

what would happen

if i served

and then it went from

waymon to my parents

and some of y’all like well your parents

you always serve them in some see this

is the one thing there’s things that you

have to do

and then there’s things you choose to do

like at 18 many of the people that are

were part of my life like at 18 they

stopped fooling with their parents

like 18 and the sad thing about is a lot

of people’s parents stopped fooling with

them at 18.

i just have to this is something i just

got to get on black parents

why

do you keep putting your kids

in a position to start from where you

started from

when you 18 you out of here we the only

race that put our people out at 18

whether they ready or not to be able to

i’m just telling you right now if you

want to see the blessing of god in your

life maybe you should serve them a

couple more seasons

imma have to

that ain’t just for black people i just

i could talk to them because that’s what

i look like but so i feel crazy too

my parents started a church in 2009 i

believe it eight eight nine

i was so unbothered by them starting

their church

spirit and truth praise and worship

center the name was too long the

services were too long

the everything

i was like this don’t make no sense but

my parents when they hear a word from

god

they do not care who thinks anything

about it they’re gonna follow god i

thank god for that

i did music

and my parents would never ask me but

one day the holy spirit convicted me he

said you need to go help your parents

with the music at the church

and this meant

on sunday nights when i’m usually waking

up from a semi-comatose

uh golden corral induced

cowboy’s about to lose the game coma

because that was happening in that

season

i would have to get up

and go to rehearsals and do this thing

and god said become sub to the mission

and i started serving as spirit and true

praise and worship center not knowing

that almost two months after i would get

there my mom would come to me in this

prophetic voice and say god told me on

the wire hands

the lord told me

you’re supposed to do something with the

youth i said you got four other sons

one of them can do something with you

i’m about to move to la new york i’m

about to do the music she said god said

it was you

two weeks later

not wanting to do it

but because i was

subbed

to the mission

i started in a circle that we called so

fly

i would not be standing here today

had i not been submitted excuse me if my

parents would have been submitted to god

to start the church that didn’t look

like it had any possibility so that i

could get into a place where i was

submitted enough to serve i was subbed

to the mission which led to me being

submitted to bishop mcintosh

and i started i’m just trying to give

y’all practical can i can i

this is how i got here today

not being prideful being humble

and serving

i started out as the sound man at this

church

and i went from the sound men and the

bishop came to me and said why don’t we

do something with the youth

are the churches merged together i

became the youth pastor i didn’t know

that that was gonna happen i wasn’t

trying to actually get stuck youth

pastoring and that’s how i felt i wasn’t

trying to do that but i was subbed to

the mission then he said i need this

culture to come in the mornings and he

said i’m gonna make you the executive

pastor and i will sub to the mission now

i need you to be in finance meetings and

i need you to do stuff that you don’t

like doing i need you to write stuff

down type stuff out be on time what

but i was

submitted

today

i stand

in the position

of status that god has allowed me to

stand in

not because of strategy

not because

of a system

it’s because of everybody say it with me

submission

the secret

to having kingdom success

is get

because the thing that happened in in

david’s life is he wasn’t just submitted

to what

saul said

he

was excellent right excellent

could you take that off from me oh

this is what the church is missing

you didn’t practice the song but you

want to sing in front of everybody

well the holy spirit’s going to cover we

heard that

and he left you out there

that was trash

and you would judge it if it was on the

american idol stage and you would judge

it if that’s the concert you went to

but because it’s for god

oh just

wasn’t the spirit high

i would have rather been high then

listen to that was horrible because we

don’t bring

excellence

first samuel 16 i’m trying to give you

the keys to kingdom success excellence

it says so saul said to his attendants

find me someone who plays average and

bring him to me

find me someone who does not prepare and

bring them to me

find someone whose mama gave them a

participation trophy and bring them to

me

it says find someone who plays well find

me somebody excellent

if i’m gonna do this over and over could

you please find me someone who walks in

excellence when you serve my question is

are you serving in excellence

are you serving to get it done or are

you serving as unto the lord

are you serving in a way that is subpar

or are you serving in a way that people

can see how much you love god by the way

you folded the napkin how much you are

intentional with what you do by the way

that you just talked to that person

there are people i have reached through

excellence that i could never reach

through eloquence

it don’t matter how many words i had

they saw the spirit and that’s what i

need everybody to know excellence is a

spirit

there’s a spirit of excellence

there’s a spirit that comes behind and

god’s saying if you are going to be

successful and not get to this place of

pride that means you have to serve you

can’t just

alright imma do it

and then somebody has the audacity to

say that’s not how we do it wasn’t fine

you do it

you don’t have me out here and you’re

only gonna pay me eight dollars an hour

to be up here

you serving

with ex

husbands

serve your wife

with

ex you haven’t planned a date night in

six months

but you expect her

to

to come out and be a sports illustrated

model for you

and you don’t even take shower you not

you ain’t been

you ain’t been excellent since y’all got

together

wedding day was the last fully groomed

you

oh i’m not telling you stuff that ain’t

real

if you would bring excellence to your

service

how you work the job

that you know you’re leaving in six

months

shows more about you

than everything you’ve done before that

point

i’ve been here 17 years the worst thing

you can do is leave sloppy

the worst thing you can you don’t have

all this time of excellent service and

then you gonna leave sloppy

i’m asking god’s people

if we’re gonna walk in a level of

unusual acceleration over and over and

over again tony

we’re not just submitted but we bring

excellence to it as well

first samuel 16 18 i have seen a son of

jesse one of the servants said of

bethlehem who knows how to play the liar

he is brave man and a warrior he speak

well and he kind of looked good

and the lord is with him

not just submission

not just excellence but don step down

here what’s the next thing that we need

for kingdom success we need to be

reputable

what is your reputation in the room

you’re not in

some of y’all great on paper

and great in person yeah

but you are deficient when you’re not in

the room

cause your life is speaking for you

david was not in the king’s court

but they had a reputation

that preceded him ever making it to the

palace

this man is brave

he knows how to play excellently he’s a

warrior he speaks well and he looked

good and the best thing is the lord is

with him

what do they say about you

some of us need to pray for the next six

years because you was wild

before grace and mercy

let me not talk about y’all i was wild

and one thing that i added to my prayer

list be

god

make me a man of good reputation

have you ever prayed that because the

bible says a good name

is better

than wealth

do you know wealthy people don’t pay for

stuff they got money to pay for

when when certain names walk into places

mcdonald’s

family don’t buy mcdonald’s

it’s because of the

name

what i’m telling you is god can give you

a name

that is worth more

than anything that you could do on your

own

the key is if you’re going to have good

service you got to protect your own name

can i give you a word that goes with

reputation

integrity

integrity is what you do when they’re in

the room right and when they’re not in

the room integrity is how you handle the

finances when they can see you

and when the money was given under the

table integrity

integrity is what you do with the louis

bag you found

and never took to the lost and found

you calling it a blessing but it’s

actually a curse

because god just saw how you handled

when nobody was looking some of y’all

are carrying money

let me stop

your reputation is your resume when

you’re not in the room

and so you have to be submitted

you have to be excellent you have to be

reputable but valencia stepped down here

this the one i really like

you gotta be show them

first

you gotta be able to do more than one

thing

i have met more church people

who are one-dimensional

all you do is pray

no no i’m saying but what do you do

i’m a prayer warrior

i no okay

but is there anything else god has

gifted you

intercession

adoration

like

but okay okay after our prayer meeting

pray without ceasing pastor mike

okay

but can

can you send an email to the prayer team

so that could you be just a little

administrative straight up so that all

of the people

who are

ready to pray to

could know what time prayer starts

so that we can make because i think the

bible says one could put a thousand a

flight two could put them down it’s just

you

so i need you

to become multi-dimensional

in wherever god has placed you

and i’m saying one thing right now

but the reason david was called is

because he was watch this valuable on

multiple levels

what happens when you’re versed

this is a key to service

you ask me to flip the hot dogs i can do

that but you asked me to plan the party

and i can do that too you ask me to be

the entertainment i can do that and if

you ask me to clean up after everybody’s

gone and i didn’t get to have one piece

of cake

i’m humble enough to do that too you can

put me anywhere and i show up servant

just in this small passage we find out

that he is versed or valuable with a

stringed instrument with a slingshot

with a staff and a sword

he was versed

put me with the sheep i’ll make sure

they get where they need to go

give me a sword i’ll cut his head off

give me a guitar or a stringed

instrument

i’ll torment the devil

was everybody say first

if you’re going to stay humble and keep

serving you have to be you got to be

god’s swiss army

swiss army knife drop me anywhere

and pull out whatever you need

i can be in any situation and you can

pull out the screwdriver if you need to

you can pull out the fingernail clipper

you can pull out the part of me i didn’t

want to show people and you can pull out

the part that i’m comfortable with use

me god

this is the key to this write this down

don’t let preparation be your limitation

he couldn’t show up to the palace in

practice

there was no practice time

at the palace he had to already have

committed a different season of his life

just sowing into these gifts i’m talking

to somebody right why god hasn’t taken

you to the palace you’re one-dimensional

you don’t have enough to stay there he

only stays in the palace for a short

time

because then he goes back to the field

gets sent to the front lines defeats

goliath and now unusual acceleration

everything changed

he never goes back to just playing the

guitar again

but he could because he was versed

it’s time

for you to get divine dynamics in your

life

i want god to be able to use everything

in me

use my musical gift use my business

savvy use my creative ability use my

problem solving use my wit use my humor

use me god

somebody say use me god

but you can’t show up in practice

that’s preparation

if i came and tested out

what god’s doing in me on y’all

this thing will go down quicker than the

titanic

it’d be over

but because in a different season some

of y’all were there when i was at

soulfly

and i would preach

and be like that ain’t the message i

preach a whole nother message

hour and a half is bad i used to preach

three and a half hours

no sweat

but it wasn’t televised

it was in the dark

on purpose

so that god could prepare me

for what i would do

in the light

and david became one of his

armor-bearers

now i used to just read over this

scripture but this has a lot more

implications than a lot of us would know

actually be invested

well if it don’t work

that ain’t i mean i did i did what you

asked me to do

and that’s it

cause who’s gonna trust you with your

own vision and you can’t be trusted with

another man’s vision you’re not invested

in this

how does this apply to david

when you become somebody’s armor-bearer

that means you carrying their armor

on

the front lines of war

with no weapon

i’m out here sacrificing too

i’m invested

he’s the armor he’s holding the

slingshot and the sword and whenever so

i mean saul’s right here

has his own life in danger

to serve somebody else’s vision

if you’re not invested

in whoever you’re serving

enough to sacrifice something

go somewhere else

if you’re not invested in that marriage

if you’re not invested in that church if

you’re not invested in that child if

you’re not invested you are not really

serving if you’re not sacrificing

someone i got to get up at 6 00 am

you’re invested

well i got to give some of my

hard-earned money you’re invested that’s

why i love transformation church there

are thousands tens of thousands of

people who are invested in the vision of

representing god to the lost and found

for transformation in christ why because

they sacrifice something

they give their time talent and treasure

we’ve had people before not be able to

have any money but they had the ability

to make bracelets and they’ve made

bracelets for us to give to people it’s

not about amounts it’s about a heart

posture that is humble enough to serve

and give what you have one of the

greatest most extravagant gifts in all

of the bible was a great investment

that was small monetarily

it was the woman with two mites

and as the ballers were dropping stacks

and making it rain

jesus called his disciples and said did

you see how invested she was

did you see this widow who lost her

husband lost her source of income lost

her protection but she took what she had

and invested it

in my cause

this this woman gave more than all of

them combined

why because she sacrificed something

don’t ever call it service if there’s

not sacrifice

don’t ever say i’m serving that church

but everything’s convenient

it’s going to cost you something

submitted

excellent

reputable

versed

invested come on down here malia

the other thing david was was what

covered

if you’re gonna serve don’t serve out

here willy-nilly

don’t be out here just doing stuff

be everybody say covered now right here

in verse 19 after these men tell saul

hey there’s this dude david he has a

great reputation he’ll be invested he’ll

draw this up look what it says then saul

sent message to

jesse

not to david

like if you want to get a message to me

come to come to me

but the king knew

that david was subbed to the mission

and covered by his father

so the king didn’t come and talk to

david

he went and talked to his covering

and he said i’m just trying to teach the

word

it said and he sent message to jesse and

said could you send me your son david

who is with the sheep

and in verse 18 the end of it said and

the lord was with him saul didn’t talk

to david

saul didn’t talk directly to the person

he talked to the person he was submitted

to

my question to you that you may not have

an answer for who are you covered by

and i know in a day of toxic

authority and leadership

it’s very difficult

to submit to people whose hearts are not

submitted to god

and i want to apologize on behalf of

spiritual leaders for not living a life

worthy of following

and not being able to be one who is

stable enough in your convictions and in

your character to be able to submit to

but i believe that there is in this end

time a group of people rising up that

will be able to be seen as ones that can

be followed in integrity

because it’s dangerous to be out here

serving with no cover

and this is the thing i need to tell you

right this point down you might get

understanding on it about three weeks

from now but spiritual authority and

earthly authority are not

optional it’s essential

in this it tells us that god was with

david spiritual authority but he had

earthly authority his father

god’s with me

i know it when he gave me the vision

when he showed me all the stuff i know

he’s with me but it was not enough for

me to just have heavenly authority or

spiritual authority

he also gave me earthly authority

he gave me tommy and brenda todd he gave

me bishop gary mcintosh he gave me tim

ross these people can come into my life

and say don’t buy that car

because this really happened tim ross

when i first became a pastor he said do

not buy this car that i really wanted

and i was believing for and i had gravy

for but i was about to be bamboozled by

the blessing

he said don’t buy this car because this

car is going to make people see you

instead of hear you

and i didn’t understand it at the time

but i was submitted

and i bought a chevy what car was that

bree

not a malibu what was it impala

and i loved that car

it was almost like the anointing of god

was on the lesser decision by man

standards

but i

submitted to my earthly authority

and god blessed the crap out of me

what i’m saying to you is

these are things that you may need to

pray for because if you’re going to be

in service there are people that need to

be around you who can see what you don’t

see

and help you understand what you don’t

understand

when charles

shut down his church

and came over here the first thing he

said to me when we were at the downtown

library is god told me to come and

submit my life to you i need you to

cover me and i’m here to serve and

protect those were the two words he told

me

people asked me how where you find

charles at how is he up here doing all

of this other stuff his heart

came in here with no

ambition

just obedience

and he went through seasons of unusual

accelerating if i was to leave the earth

tomorrow this church would be okay why

because somebody has been walking with

me

who has seen me serve this church in a

way that has changed the way he serves

his wife and serves his family and

serves the thing and what ends up

happening is he’s safe and covered

i’m telling somebody right now

that the reason some of the things have

been stopped is because if you got out

there on your own

it would be more damaging than it would

be divine

i gotta move last one

is jesus our example or not

jesus was covered

by spiritual authority and earthly

authority

let me prove it to you

he was the son of god

so let’s spiritual authority kind of

that got it

but he had earthly authority too

do y’all remember when he was 12 years

old

and he was in the synagogue

and he was reading all of the the

scrolls and telling them this is what

they mean but he forgot to text his mama

and tell her where he was going to be

he forgot

they’re looking for jesus everywhere

and they finally find him in the

synagogue

it’s how my mama i just picture my

moment

by earthly authority

equipped

so many people are trying to get to a

place that they can get what they need

to get to the next place

service equips you

every place i served gave me what i

needed for the next place i was going

and instead of searching and running and

networking and trying to get in and do

all of these things god said if you

would just stay humble and serve

i’ll equip you

for whatever is happening write the

point down the season of service equips

the seat of anointing

so so what happens is

when i serve

my seat is being prepared that i’m

anointed for

i’m only here

because of how i serve terrell taylor

i’m only here because of how i serve

wayman tisdale

i’m only here because of how i serve my

parents at spirit and truth i’m only

here because of how i serve bishop it

equipped me for things i didn’t even

know i would be walking into that’s why

i always say all you have

it’s all you need because if i serve the

season that i’m in right now god says

i’m preparing you for the seat that i

have for you the seat

comes from serving

i wanted you not to be bamboozled by the

blessing

don’t walk in pride

cause this is the

thing thank you lord this is why

it seems like every year transformation

church god’s doing something bigger

it went from the arena to the whole

complex out there

to

millions of people watching what we’re

doing and being blessed by it to now the

towers

i don’t know what god’s going to do next

but the thing i do know is it will be

huge

why

because this team

and this leadership

and myself have decided

that we’re going to stay humble

and not be bamboozled by the blessing of

god

are here for service we want to serve

tulsa we want to serve transformation

nation we want to serve the community of

bixby we want to serve our neighbors we

want to serve our haters we want to

serve

and the reason why god can keep unusual

acceleration and happen around these

parts

is because we’ve committed

to the keys of the kingdom that bring

success

service being submitted

being excellent being reputable actually

being versed invested covered and

equipped by god it spells out

service

you have to serve your anointing before

you sit in your anointing

i would encourage you to find somebody

that you feel like god is calling you to

walk in those paths

and go up to them and don’t ask for a

paycheck a title or a platform

what do you need me to do that would

relieve you of a demon that’s tormenting

you

david’s road to the palace was

tormenting what tormented his leader

if you would ever start tormenting the

thing

that your leader or whoever you trying

to go after if you torment what torments

them it is a sure road that your heart

will stay humble that you will be in a

category for service and that you will

see season after season of unusual

acceleration standing all over the place

right now

you may not ever leave the house

you could show up

and serve that family member who you

know feels lonely

you can write out three bible scriptures

and decide every tuesday

i’m gonna text you

three scriptures and i’m gonna call you

and just see

how you’re doing and speak a life and

give encouragement who can i serve right

now

the one thing about everybody that’s up

here they’ve been standing up here like

40 minutes an hour

waiting for me to call on them

and i

started to think how much discipline

how much

control self-control

how much they couldn’t be distracted in

this moment

and it made me think that

a good

person

that serves is a great waiter

wow yeah

i mean all the way down to jeff jeff had

to wait

while other people were being called

he had the goods the whole time he had

the platter the whole time but he when

the first person got called in the

second he had to

wait on the lord

wait on the lord

and as he was waiting

he will renew

your

strength

so way

uh somebody needs it say wait on

at your service god

i’ll do what you say wait on the lord

this is what he’s gonna do and he will

renew

some of y’all been tired of just

standing there but god says this is the

way to kingdom success to wait on the

lord

i feel the presence of god some of y’all

are about to start waiting again some of

you are going to get the endurance

i feel the presence of god coming over

if you’ve been walking in pride in any

area of your life

and you need

to be humble

my greatest encouragement to you

is the scripture that i think of all the

time

humble yourself

under the mighty hand of god

this one messes me up because there’s

two ways of being humble

you can humble yourself or you can be

humbled

today i feel like as a church in this

eighth week of crazier faith

there’s a level of humility that needs

to come back to us

we thought our crowns and our status and

this was the thing and god’s saying uh

um

i need you to commit to a brand new walk

of service

and if it’s you this may not be

everybody but i know it’s me today

if you need to stand again and say god

i’m at your service i did it in a

different season

before the hurt before the breakup

before before the failure before

whatever but today a new and a fresh god

i’m coming to you and i’m humbling

myself

and i want to be used

to serve however you want me if that’s

you would you just put both hands in the

air right now this is not for everybody

but it’s for me and it’s for some of you

come on there’s hands going up in the

that there would be a renewing of

humility

in your house

that every person under the sound of my

voice father god

would make a fresh commitment

to you father god so that you could use

us in whatever way that you want to

came here and told us outright the goal

is not to be served but to serve others

so today

god show us who we should serve

show us who we are supposed to invest in

father give us the character that looks

like christ when we serve others father

god

change us from the inside out let us be

submitted father god and let us see

that you can use us in any area because

we’ve been equipped by you

father i pray for the one who is weary

and well doing my god

father for every person who’s been sick

awaiting

the one who feels like you’ve overlooked

them time and time again father i speak

that you would give them

the audacity

to wait on you

god i’m asking that at this moment

father there would be a renewing of

strength

god i thank you

that out of this message and this

movement

there would be an army of people that

would rise up

and say god whatever you call me to do

whether it’s on the penthouse father god

or if it’s in the lawn father god no

matter if it’s on a platform father god

or if it’s in the pasture we will be

ready to serve you

wherever you place us

we’ll wait on you god

and i thank you that people won’t give

up prematurely

several seasons of unusual acceleration

accepted jesus as your personal lord and

you’re like this is a weird place to

like have this spiritual moment

god’s ministering to people right now

it tells us the holy spirit draws us to

him there’s been situations and

circumstances that have been leading you

up to this moment right now and today is

the day of salvation

see when i gave my life to christ not

just to be my savior but to also be my

lord

what ended up happening was it was the

greatest decision that i ever made it

took me from being a liar a manipulator

somebody who was addicted to pornography

had all kinds of crazy stuff in my heart

and my mind and it made me a waiter

it made me somebody that said god

whatever you want to do for me i thought

i was going to do music but you want me

to be a pastor at your service

i thought i was going to go do this but

you want me to serve these people at

your service

and today

i want to give you the greatest

opportunity that you could ever have to

make jesus christ

your personal lord and savior to get

covered

by the god of the universe this is why i

don’t worship the universe because it

was created

see i serve the god that created the

universe and he cares more about you

than anything that he’s ever created

today

we’re about to pray

and invite people into a loving

relationship with jesus christ if you

want to be included in that prayer on

doesn’t matter this moment is more

you are about to make the greatest
