um how do you deal with the death of a
loved one
you believed uh complete healing for
um morning is legal
it’s it’s all right you don’t
don’t try it don’t pretend something
else learn the value of mourning
but don’t let it take you to unbelief
as far as the disappointment area you
know i
the only thing i know to do is is i know
this is what i know about god i know
that he’s good i know he’s faithful
i know he doesn’t lie i know there’s no
shortage on his end of the equation
i know these are things i’ll take a
bullet for these things
there’s a lot of things i don’t know i
don’t know why this happened i don’t
know why that happened i don’t
so what i do with all these honor
answerables is i put them in the slot
called mystery
and you know be okay with it i have to i
have to i
i know that he can use it i do believe
that some of these things that are in
mystery in my mystery box today
i’ll have understanding for tomorrow or
in five years or whatever but i mean
i’ll
i think some of the these things that we
that we didn’t handle well today we
didn’t get victory on today we will get
victory out
you know a couple years down the road
you know the illustrations that i use
you know i’ve been pushing against a
thousand pound rock for six months
i didn’t move it dad died
yep i didn’t get it budged at all
brought others involved
i can walk away depressed i am
disappointed
but what i notice is that pushing
against a rock for six months
build a strength and while i never did
move the thousand pound rock there’s a
500 pound rock right next to it that i
can move now
that i wouldn’t have been able to move
six months ago there is that sort of
strength that’s built up
when we learn endurance in faith
endurance in prayer
and don’t turn against god don’t become
an accuser
don’t question if a person has questions
of god
ask them but don’t leave to get answers
and the answers will always be connected
to his faithfulness and goodness
he doesn’t lie it’s impossible and so
this box of mystery
you know i got a bunch of stuff in there
but to be honest
he’s pulling the issues out one by one
and he’s giving solutions
and now we get breakthrough for things
that we didn’t get breakthrough in ten
years ago it’s true
you know it’s i don’t know if it’s
getting smaller because i’m finding more
and more things to put in there
yeah but you get the point
